This book was very much enjoyable from the start to the finish! I love shape shifter reads, but this one really had a sweet essence to it, as well as characters you were rooting for! A very enjoyable read!
I found Wednesday and Ryker the most sweet and cutest thing since cheesecake! I loved how they were best friends, and how he was a panda shifter. Wednesday reminded me of myself, always trying to figure everything out and analyze things, but sometimes when it comes to the heart, the mind cannot analyze what could potentially be true love. I really had a great time with this story, I loved the characters and loved the author’s writing and how they created the story. I will be for sure be reading more by this gifted author, as this book certainly has gotten be hooked! It was impossible not to love this book!
Remarkable reading and an intriguing as well as, sweet story line all the way through! This is in my books as a must read without a doubt, and not one to be passed up for any reasons whatsoever! Highly recommend!

Friends With Benies: An AMBW Paranormal Romance is the seventh book in the Paris in Springtime series by T.B. Bond. I didn’t realise when I one-clicked myself a copy, that it was the seventh book in the series…. but thankfully it can be read as a standalone without feeling like you are missing anything by not having read the previous six books. But it has made me curious about what has happened in the first six books, and wanting to ‘meet’ those characters- so I will probably go on a bit of a book binge soon to see what they contain. This is my first ever AMBW witch and her panda shifter best friend story- so I was really curious to see where the story would lead. It turned out to be a sweet and romantic story where two best friends-with-benefits finally take a chance on forever love- after some help from their meddling relatives and a romantic singles cruise in Paris. There is plenty of humour, fun, and antics along the way- as well as some adventure, angst, and drama to balance things out. All while their chemistry steamed up the pages along the way. This series of books is so good. The 3rd book in the Masters of the Consulate series is just as intriguing as the first 2. Angel is the sister of the Consulate enemies. Trentino finds her in a pool of blood and must break the rules to save her. The chemistry between them is instant and undeniable. Can they resist the pull between them? I know I can’t resist the pull of the story in these books. On to book 4!

What a brilliant start to a new series. This book pulls you right in from the word go and I found myself unable to put the book down. I loved the characters and the dynamic between them. It is interesting and I found them easy to engage with. The book is really well written. It is an exciting story and at lot seems to happen. The author builds it up well, creating a book that is fast paced and really great to read. As the first book in the series this has definitely piqued my interest as to what will come next.

I so loved this book and the flow of the story line. The author took her time and didn’t rush through the ending to just finish the book. As a reader, I appreciate a well thought out story. This book had an underlying current of tension all the way though.
Brooke is a career oriented person who is adamant on paying her own way in life. She moved to a quiet town that made her feel like this was home. She’s a graphic designer for the local newspaper and loves her job.
Levi is an elemental from a different planet to keep humans safe from the Chaolt (a causer of chaos) in the form of natural disasters. Everytime a Chaolt kills a sleeper ( a human with latient elemental powers) a disaster is caused.
Levi and Brooke meet when Levi sees her across the street and his powers get all twitchy. He has no idea why he is reacting as such. Yes, she is beautiful but he has seen beautiful women before.
So much happens once these two meet that you will not be able to put this book down. Brook is in danger at every turn and will need protection from something she knows nothing about. This story has twists and turns, suspense to keep you reading and a love story you will be cheering for until the very end.

I seriously don’t know how the author does it but this fantastic series just keeps getting better and better with each book! I really didn’t think that was possible. I am totally hooked and need more!!! I love the almost instant connection between Master Romano and Raven that can’t be ignored even though vampires and witches being together is totally unheard of. This book will keep you captivated from the very first word, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. I so did not pick one particular twist that’s for sure but I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll zip my lip on that! Do yourself a huge favour and grab this book today…actually grab the whole series!!

Immersive and thought provoking Absolutely love me and Elemental based paranormal book and this one did not disappoint. I was totally hooked from the first page and the whole world and concept presented was so original I wanted to know more. Based in the mortal world there are Elementals, pretty much an alien species. Then there are Sleepers hidden amongst the mortals and then there is the Chaolt- pretty much the mortal enemy. I’m not going to say much more as I don’t want to add spoilers but it is all exciting stuff. And yes there is definitely romance – so check out this great first book in the Elemental Warriors Series.

I really enjoyed this story and the concept of Elementals, Sleepers and The Chaolt mixed with action, intrigue and spark between Brooke and Levi.
Brooke is saved from an apartment fire by a mysterious man….Levi, who is a fire elemental. He is protective and intrigued by Brooke…..and they definitely have chemistry. Levi must protect Brooke from The Chaolt as they are after her….and the elementals need to protect Earth
There is so much to this book and I do not want to give anything away….this is a really enjoyable paranormal story and I am totally looking forward to more in this series!

I always look forward to the books in this series. The author has fantastic world building skills and excels at setting scenes. This is the fourth book and could be a stand alone, however I would recommend reading the series from the start. Plenty of steam, romance, action, tension and Paranormal! This was definitely not what I was expecting but in a great way! I love how creative and different it is. The romance wasn’t in your face or steal the show from the storyline it played into it and enhanced it like it should. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy novels.

Burn by Joanna Morgan is a great new concept to the paranormal fantasy tale. Follow Levi and Brook in this refreshing new concept as they learn about each other and fight against the odds to be with each other. I loved the new concept, the story line and the characters, but it was very hard for me to keep reading through this book. I just thought it was very slow throughout the whole book, until the very end. When you work full time and have kids it was very hard for me not to get distracted or “get in the zone”, to read this book. Despite this book being slow, I did think the writing was good. The plot was all brand new and there was a lot of world building, so I believe that is why the book might have been on the slower side. I also loved the forbidden romance between Levi and Brook, along with them having to defy the odds. Brook is learning of a whole new world, and learning about a whole new part of herself.
Due to the flaws, but with reason, I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars. Overall it was still a great read, the characters were amazing, and I loved the new storyline and world.
I really do hope that as this series develops, I can fall in love with it more, because it is a really great story line.
For any future readers, please know that this is a start of a series, but can be read as a stand alone. I, personally, cannot stop after reading just this book, so I cannot wait for the rest of the series to be published.

This book is the beginning of a series and can be read as a stand alone. The fast pace, page turning action of the story line will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and dying to find out what happens. Levi has the element of fire meaning he can create, control, and cause fire to happen anywhere at any time. Brooke is your general run of the mill normal human girl with no elemental powers or so she thinks. The mystery that also follows the story line sets up for the other books to follow and I can’t wait. Levi is trying to protect Brooke which is forcing them to spend time together and what happens when people are forced to be in each other proximity in a romance book, yep you got it. The steam happens. This book has it all mystery, action, passion, forbidden love, protection, and chaos. I highly recommend this book to anyone who like paranormal and who like a good romance read. Best friends since they were 6 years old, Wednesday and Ryker have grown up together and they love each other as friends. But could there be more than that between them? Heading off on a singles cruise to find Rykers Mate, Wednesday is aware that she could be losing the best sex of her life. There are a few twists and turns to this story but it is a really quick read and really funny at times.
This is the first read of this kind for me. I really enjoyed the characters and the pace.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Unearthly Magik was a fantastic read. I really hope there is more as it left a little off on a cliffhanger. The author has gained a new fan within me.
Ava is contacted to get an important item. She goes on a search with her team for the item and it leads to several others. Each more dangerous than the last. Ava is getting beat each time. The quote I chose for Ava is: “You can tell him yourself. See this? You can’t escape, so don’t try. You can’t injure me, so don’t try unless you really want to piss me off. And if you give me any trouble, I swear I’ll break your legs and drag you around like a puppet and smile the entire time.”
I don’t even know where to begin with this book! This was the perfect book for me since I have always been obsessed with element bending stories such as Fate: The Winx Saga and Avatar: The Last Airbender. This was the perfect adult version of those two stories, the chemistry between the characters was almost as good as the story itself!
A fantastic paranormal romance, I highly suggest that everyone who loves fantasy read this book. The characters of Levi and Brooke are expertly written, I love watching both of the characters grow as the story continues. I can’t wait to see what comes next in the series!

Master Romano was a little slow to get started but the first two chapters were mainly to introduce characters and the plot it was all necessary to the story. Once it got started I didn’t want to put it down. I read it in about a day and a half. I loved Romano, his crew, and the banter between the vampires but one thing I couldn’t shake for some reason was Raven’s naivety and how immature she felt as a character. Like, she’s still in school, rebellious, should she really be having this type of relationship with a vampire? Maybe it was needed for the story to progress because her being so trusting and naïve becomes a point in the story when the vampires begin pointing fingers in her direction for betraying them because she gave everything up so easily. Overall it was a quick read that I really enjoyed.

Romano is part of a long line of master’s who have dealt with dealings for year’s but when he is entrusted to sort out the centuries old land feud with the witches what could go wrong. Well, that’s until he meets the one witch who can bring down his walls and possible the consulate.
Raven is from a longline of witches, driven to get back what was taken from them centuries ago, determined to help the coven with trying to get close to the Vampires can she get what is rightfully hers and the covens. Although determined she was not expecting to have feelings towards one of the men that she had vowed to destroy.
This is the fourth book in this series, you can read this book comfortable as a standalone as each book in the series follows on of the master vampires, although some of the other book overlap there is enough detail within the book to be able to follow the story comfortably.
This is not my usual genre I read but after being recommended the first book I could not out it down, this book is just the same. I have to say the writing draws you in and makes this world believable and as you engage with the characters, I feel that you are a part of the story and world.
I love the push and pull between the two main characters was just great to read, they complement each other brilliant. This is my favourite book so far; I loved the character of Raven being so strong willed and determined to prove that she could follow her conviction and also try to understand the feelings she had towards Romano, a man she was brought up to hate.
I can’t wait to read the next instalment in this series.

I love shifter books and this is my first AMBW story that include panda shifter and a mage. The chemistry between Ryker and Wednesday is out of this world.
What happens when best friends love each other since forever? This is Wen and Ryker…. best friends whom love each other to the core. When feelings come more to the surface and outright open it can cause heartache and caution. Wen loves Ryker but does not have the heart to tell him…as she feels like she is not truly Ryker’s “mate”. When Ryker’s feeling come out into the open how much he truly loves Wen……at first Wen is hesitant believing since she is not a shifter they are not meant to be…. When both sets of parents embark on setting them both up on a “Paris in Springtime” Cruise for singles….this sets the tone of the love between Ryker and Wen.
This story was so much fun to read….and the spice level is totally “WOW” and some funny moments. Fantastic Book!! Very highly recommended!

Burn is the first book in the Elemental Warriors series. This was a really good read. The story was captivating from the very beginning. I loved the immediate attraction between Levi and Brooke but also how the secrets start to unravel in regards to Levi been an Elemental and Brooke a Sleeper.
Levi is an Elemental who’s job is to protect earth from Chaos. He is also tasked with finding Sleepers (humans with Elemental powers). He need to find and protect them before they fall into the hands of Chaolt. Chaolt are out to find the Sleepers and use their hidden power to destroy and cause chaos in the human world.
The attraction between Levi and Brooke is instant but Elementals aren’t allowed to get involved with humans and with the added complications of Brookes hidden power it’s a relationship that is doomed to not work. However she seems to be the cool water to his scorching fire.
It was a fast paced story full of passion however its also a story of Forbidden Love as they aren’t meant to be together. Levi’s job is to protect her from evil not to fall in love with her.
I can’t wait to see where this series will go. And I’m looking forward to book 2

Friends with Benies is highly entertaining and a quick read. It is an AMBW Paranormal Romance tale that is funny and sexy. I found myself laughing throughout this adventure. This is my first time reading anything by T.B and I really enjoyed it and her writing style. Included is a bonus chapter that makes you smile.
This is Ryder and Wednesday’s story. They are BFF’s wanting so much more but getting out of their own way at times would be a good thing if they could see what is right in front of them.
I didn’t realise this is the seventh book and as such I have not read the other books in the Paris in Springtime series but I will be going back to them if they are as good as this one.

Burn is the first book in the Elemental Warriors series and debut novel by Joanna Morgan. This is a fantastic paranormal romance with plenty of originality, danger, Elemental warriors facing off against a powerful supernatural adversary, action, adventure, mystery, intrigue, tension, intensity, chemistry, steam, and agendas. I was drawn to the book by the interesting cover and the fact the blurb promised something a little different in paranormal romance… and, to be honest, Ms. Morgan had me at Elementals. So, I didn’t waste a minute and grabbed a copy and began to immediately explore. I was soon immersed in an exciting story that pulled me in and kept me flipping the pages, avidly reading to discover how things would play out. I loved the creative and original world-building, it really added an extra element of interest to the whole story for me. The whole Elemental Warriors, Sleepers, Chaolt thing was really well done and had me invested right from the opening passages. Wow, do I ever like the change of pace. I have watched shows before where different elements are brought into the picture, but this is one of the first novels I’ve read with this take on magic/paranormal aspect within their pages. I absolutely love Brooke’s character throughout, but especially as she’s becoming comfortable in her own skin, and owning her person. She has just met some of her life goals when things get a little steamy, so to speak, and Levi enters into the story.
The character development was wonderful, slow, yet addictive and delightful with every sentence, and I really felt as though I was experiencing the whirlwind of emotions both main characters felt. This author is a new one for me, and I will be sure to read more of her skilled writing soon, especially the next installment in this series. Highly recommend, well worth a read!

This is the first book that I have read from Matilda Reyes and I was not disappointed. I was not able to put the book down. I had to finish it from beginning to end. It had me hooked starting from the first page until the last page. Ava Ramos is one furious mage. New York City is her town, and she and her Black Cauldron Detective Agency know every beat of the supernatural underground. Need an object found or secrets uncovered? Ava and her partners are the mages to contact. A former rival, Tasis, shows up with a case that proves Ava just might not know everything about her town. The Lauret Grimoire, the oldest known compendium of the supernatural, has gone missing from one of the most closely guarded magikal libraries in the city. The mages assigned to guard the damned thing can’t find any clues. Tasis is one of those mages. Now, Tasis is calling in the last favor Ava owes him. Ava never breaks her word, so she and the Black Cauldron Detective Agency take the impossible case. I can’t wait to read the second book and see what else happens. I recommend this book for any and everyone. It’s a terrific read and I look forward to more books in the future

When women end up missing who have had a history with a vampire in the past, The police force put Luce on the case. Seeing as how she has psychic abilities they think she can help the most in finding the missing women, but things get complicated when the evidence points to the vampire community. Enter Salvatore Descallia the Overmaster of all the vampires, they form an unlikely alliance when her captain puts her undercover at his casino, only there’s one issue neither of them can stand to be away from the other one and it stirs up emotions they never thought would affect them and make things a lot more dangerous and hotter.

I really enjoyed this book and the author’s writing skills. I could not simply put it down, there was much to learn about and wonder, and of course it was a book full of action and intrigue!
I loved the writing of the story and how the author did the flow of the characters and the story! Loved the fantasy aspect of the story. The Elementals were great beings, that I loved learning about. Brooke was a great addition to the story as well, she was very relatable and in a human way, complicated things for Levi. There was a lot of chemistry and passion, but there was a line that must not be crossed for many reasons. I cannot wait to read more by this author and the Elementals. There was so much I wanted answered, I just really enjoyed the characters and the story! Really held my interest! Loved it!
Great read, full of action, suspense, and moments that make your heart ache! A fun read as well! I look forward to reading more! For sure, I highly recommend this author and book! A must read!

This story was a great start to an exciting and adventurous series, and personally I can’t wait to read more. While normally my fantasy stories involve wishes, vampires and fae, this one had a whole new outlook with the elemental aspect. The story as a whole was exciting, adventurous, suspenseful, and more. The characters were built perfectly and the plot as a whole had me on the edge of my seat. While I love all fantasy genres this one has quickly become one of my favorites and I can’t wait to see what our author gives us next.

Burn is a refreshing and original concept for a paranormal fantasy tale where the premise has a lot going for it. The story is a little slow in its development but at the same time felt a little rushed in the details. There are a lot of things that should/could have been expanded on and a lot of unanswered questions and wondering to be had as a reader. I hope that as the series progress, we get them.
This is only the first book to the series and it has the potential to become a great series. We don’t really see any action until about three quarters of the way through BUT this is the author building the characters and the world and setting the scene for us.
I really did enjoy the characters and the world building and this story and I can’t wait for Book 2.
