I want to start off with I have never read an Omni verse novel or V-clan or anything related to this book. That being said it was SO EASY to follow and get into! I do also tend to prefer supernatural romance novels. I could not put this book down! I finished it in like 6 hours. The detail in which it was written as well as from both main characters perspectives just is so well done I was sucked in and I loved every minute of it! Can’t wait to read the next one!

This is my first audio by this author. I enjoyed listening to it from start to end. I found this book easy to listen to. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life. The change in tones made the story interesting and easy to listen to. This is a fantasy story with a touch of romance. The characters are great and had me coming back for more. There is great growth and chemistry throughout which made the story fun to listen too. This is a great audio that I enjoyed listening to on my way to work. I highly recommend this audio and I can’t wait to see what this author has for us next

WOW WOW OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK WAS SO GREAT! I have not read a book by this author and now I find myself looking up all of her work. This novel was expertly written and was one that I did not want to stop reading but had to force myself to do that to go to work. The way that I was able to read and see it from the perspective of both of the main characters, Quinn and Kieran was so instrumental as it helped me understand both characters. Quinn is terrified of the onslaught of unmated male werewolves that come out of the woodwork that want to be with her that she flees into the arms of Kieran, the only one who is not interested in her for her or her kingdom. Kieran was skeptical but decided to accept and when she left and had him hunting for her for over 100 years until she was finally back with him. They go through so many different trials and tribulations, and it was such a great read. I cannot wait to reread this over and over again.

Foss – Review by Carlie Del Gallo
I first came across this book a month ago and was impatiently waiting for it to finally come out. It is the first book I have ever read by Lexi C. Foss, and it did not disappoint me. It has honestly become my new favorite book and I have been gushing about it to my best friend which led to her finally purchasing it. The book begins with a short poem of sorts that gives some highlights on the story. Being told by not one but two POVs: Quinn is an unmated Omega wolf that is now the last remaining member of her royal family. Kieran is an Alpha Prince that was avoiding the war for her hand. Seems simple in the beginning.
Quinn goes to Kieran essentially proposing to him. As the last remaining member of her royal family, she is to be the next Queen of Blood Sector, the heart of the V-Clan sectors. She goes to him out of desperation and for his magical healing ability. Before they are to truly be mated, she disappears sending her betrothed on a century long game of hide and seek. One hundred years of chasing her across the sectors and he finds her in X-Clan territory, she could have run but chose to stay to heal the broken Omega she was trying to save. Intrigued by her choice and showing that she is as a true queen to put others before herself, Kieran heals the omega before taking his betrothed back to Blood Sector. Only the Quinn he remembered that snuck into his territory a century ago was long gone her soul, a combination of her human self and her wolf, was disassociated and broken. After an extended period of healing Quinn, she finally wakes up. A century of keeping her family’s secrets and being on the hunt for their killer had left her isolated within her own mind. Sanctuary, the one secret her family kept from there pack, was Quinn’s deepest secret. Both afraid and relieved to be home she finally begins to let Kieran in, he has proven his self-deserving of some truth. She had run all those years ago tracking a lead in the murder of her parents, a murder driven by the desire to learn the location of Sanctuary. Within the span of only a couple of months Quinn’s entire world is flipped upside down and back again. Everything she thought she knew is discovered to be a lie, everything that is except for Kieran, their bond, their love is true. His only motive in life was to love and worship her in every way that she deserved.
I couldn’t put down Blood Sector, finishing the book in one sitting spanning from eleven p.m. through three thirty a.m. I couldn’t stop and the author, Lexi C. Foss is incredible. The world she creates, the characters, the emotions. Blood Sector took me on a rollercoaster, I laughed, I cried, I felt betrayed, afraid and ultimately overjoyed. If you love a book with love and mystery. A book that not only makes you root for one of the leads but both equally, seeing their story unfold and wanting nothing but happiness for them in every sense of the word, then Blood Sector is a must read. While there is a second book to the V-Clan series set to release in August of 2023, this is a complete story of Quinn and Kieran, as the second book is about other characters from Blood Sector.

I have read shifter romances before, but this one was…different. It was the first time I’d heard of knotting and…I’m still not sure what it is?? I feel like the world building was a little confusing, but it was interesting and original. One thing I had a big issue with is that Kieran is referred to as “dark,” but…. I REALLY don’t see it. The book description made him seem really dark and demanding and “i take what i want when i want it,” but he was nothing but sweet to her. He was very thoughtful, considerate. Which is fine, and I loved his character, it’s just not what was advertised in the blurb. Also, most of their problems happened from them jumping to conclusions or making assumptions, and it just got old after a while. The spicy scenes were okay, albeit kind of confusing. And the ending was just kind of disappointing. All of the buildup and mystery…for that?? I do think the world the author has created, is interesting and fresh, and I was entertained for a majority of the book, so that’s why I gave it four stars.

I really loved this book! I can’t wait for the second! This book was well written. All of the characters were lovable and wonderful. This book was well thought out. There was a twist at the end that I didn’t see coming.
Blood Sector is a great paranormal romance with two characters that are both stubborn. Quinn is trying to figure out what happened to her parents years ago when she meets Kieran. She fights her attraction for him for a very long time. Eventually, Quinn realizes that Kieran is her soulmate. I love the lore in this story about the different kinds of werewolves. I like when an author puts information in a novel that is unique to that world. Blood Sector is great for people who love werewolves and romance.

Brilliant I absolutely loved this book. Quinn and Kieran’s story told in dual POV was well written. The world building was exceptional and the characterisation around wolves is original. This book draws the reader into a fantastical world and the banter between Kieran and Quinn makes you totally invested in the storyline. Even though this is a stand-alone I am hoping to see glimpses of these characters in future V-Clan series books. Now awaiting Lorcan and Kyra’s story.

This is a novel that has mystery, drama, friendship and hardships.

The character, Jace, is introduced as one of the last descendants of Watchers, who have brought corruption to humanity. He is quite rebellious and enjoying his youth as he seeks for a romantic connection. Surprisingly at a party event he attends, he finds Cyrus, who happens to be a Messenger, whose mission is to hunt Watchers. Jace is attracted to Cyrus’ stunning facial features, warm smile, and good nature. Not only is Jace developing a strong connection to Cyrus, but it is also making him rethink his life. Once things just unravel for the both of them, it truly tests their relationship and their future. This book is the start of a 3-part series so this story leaves you on the edge of your seat and what’s to come next. With the mix of paranormal/fantasy genre mixed in with LGBTQ, this story is a retelling of the quite famous Shakespearean tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The story has quite a current spin on a modern setting with the fantasy flare. But don’t let the setting of a classic tragedy interpret the outcome of the story. Read it for yourself and make the determination for yourself. It is quite an amazing read with such details in the fantasy realm.

I am giving this book 5 stars because of the way it was written. There is a bunch of dialogue between the characters, whether it is with someone or just self talk. It is amazing. I felt like I was a fly on the wall reading this and listening to someone’s conversations. The journey that the characters take you on is full of twists and turns, but also love and intrigue. What would you do if everything that you thought was true ended up not being so? Do you believe what you always have or the new information that is being presented. That is what one of the characters must decide and the journey to get to the point is full of self repressed emotions. Doing something that is for an amazing cause and that can help people is what the female lead character did. She did everything for others, giving of herself no matter what the toll it took on her. She taught out someone who might be able to help her and used him to accomplish what she knew was the right thing. How long would you wait for your mate? That is what the lead male needs to decide and even though he knew she was hiding things when they met, what are those things? This book is everything that you would expect in a werewolf paranormal romance but it has an amazing twist that I have yet to come across in any paranormal books I have read. It took a fresh light to a genre that I love and made me love it even more. I did read this in one day because I had to know what happened and I couldn’t put it down. If you are wanting to look at this genre with a different eye, I highly recommend this book. You won’t be disappointed.

Romeo and Juliet is one of my favorite plays and I am always into reading retellings. MM Romeo and Juliet? Count me in!
Jace is the last descendent of the first disgraced Watcher, fallen angels responsible for corrupting humanity. Hunting them down, are the Messengers, celestial beings from another realm.
Jace is still recovering from heartbreak when he meets Cyrus, a Messenger unlike he has met before. Cyrus wants peace instead of war, but that task won’t be easy. Neither is falling for the dark winged man.
Words cannot describe how much I loved this novel. I loved so many of the characters. I loved Cassian and Jace’s sister Hesper.
Unlike with Romeo and Juliet, where the origin of the feud remains unknown, in this novel, it becomes clear why there is war between the Messengers and the Watchers. The ending is also different from the original play which I also liked. This was a very well thought out retelling.
I read online that this is a series and I am so excited to read the next novel. I am not sure if the sequels will continue being from Jace and Cyrus points of view or if a new couple’s story will be told. I will impatiently wait until January of next year. Only a few months, but it feels like a lifetime away.
This story is amazing and so original. I loved the story line of the slayer falling for his dragon and the drama that ensues. That made for an adventure that had me hooked from the moment I started. The narrator, Oh my! that man does so much to this story. What an amazing voice. His accent just gave a whole new voice to the tale. All together, I highly recommend this to every paranormal romance lover out there.

I’m an unmated Omega Wolf. A Princess. And destined to rule. But the remaining Alpha Princes all want to claim me, their brutal methods terrifying and cruel.
I’ve spent the last century running, hiding in places where no one would think to look.
Only he found me. Prince Kieran, the most powerful shifter of them all.
Our game of hide and seek has come to an end.
It’s time for me to submit.
Or to die fighting.
Kieran O’Callaghan
My little trickster escaped me once. She indulged in a dangerous game of chase throughout the Sectors, but I’ve finally found my prize.
Poor little darling thought I valued chivalry and courting. I’m an Alpha Prince. I take what I want, when I want it, however I want it. And her sweet blood beckons the predator within me to destroy all her dreams of a happily ever after.
Let the Princes enjoy their Royal V-Wars.
As long as they bow to me as King of Blood Sector, I won’t intervene.
Besides, I have a new pretty little Omega to tame. It’s time to put a crown on her and make her my queen.
Author’s Note: This is a standalone dark shifter romance with Omegaverse themes. Kieran is an unapologetic Alpha Prince and Quinn is a feisty Omega Princess. It’s a match made in literal hell where the antihero is the king.
USA Today Bestselling Author Lexi C. Foss loves to play in dark worlds, especially the ones that bite. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and their furry children. Watcher is the first book in the Star-Crossed Celestials Duet by A.L Morrow. Jace is a watcher who always seems to make the wrong choice in men, falling hard and fast. Cyrus is a messenger, newly assigned to the city. When the two meet it is instant attraction. The issue is they should be on opposite sides of a war that has been going on for years between the Watchers, Demons, and Messengers. The Messengers believing the other two should not exist. While Jace and Cyrus do not care they should be against each other, they face many obstacles on their road to happiness. Will they be able to overcome the challenges that come with being on opposite sides? Will each be able to keep their loyalties as well as each other? Will their feelings be strong enough to fight for what they want?
I really enjoyed reading this story. It was well written and the characters had depth. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This book was really good. I love paranormal romance, especially with demons and angels, and this novel had all of that and more. The author created characters who got me vested in their journey to finding love and romance. The story was interesting and I could not put it down. The story ended with a cliffhanger and I really cannot wait for the next book to come out to see how the story unfolds.
My love for angsty stories is no secret. When I saw that this book was a retelling of Romeo and Juliet knew I had to read it. This story is about Jace and Cyrus. It follows the insta-love theme that Shakespeare’s original version had. Jace and Cyrus are opposite sides of the celestials. Jace is a watcher, while Cyrus is a messenger. While the whole of the celestials see each other as enemies, Jace and Cyrus don’t and start to fall in love. I liked the story. It was easy to read and entertained me.

Jace is a Watcher, a type of angel who lives on Earth observing the humans who live around him, but they are not the only ones he watches, demons and Messengers fall under his umbrella as well. Cyrus is a Messenger who has recently arrived to take up a position on Earth, but instead of the war he is seeing, he wants peace instead. Unfortunately, the Messengers are also angels, however, they are not as friendly as the Watchers, they view their ancestors as the ones who corrupted humans through their indiscretions and it is because of this, they are viewed as almost as badly as the demons. It is because of this ancestry that he has spent his entire life running from the Messengers, at least until he had to move to Las Vegas and move in with them, in a manner of speaking.
Jace has a weakness for handsome angels and so decided to take his best friend along to a gathering of Messengers so he can find a particular one, however, when he gets there, he is waylaid by a completely different Messenger. Cyrus is attending his welcome party, along with the others who arrived with him is not particularly enjoying being in the company of certain individuals so welcomes the distraction of a handsome, dark haired angel who catches his eye and a lot more than that.
As time passes, Jace and Cyrus end up finding time for some close encounters and intimate shenanigans, but because of the divide between their factions, they have to keep their growing bond a secret from even their nearest and dearest. This is becoming more difficult, especially when Cyrus is tasked to get close to the one person he wishes he could stay away from, but is this the true danger which lies in wait for the two star crossed lovers?
In this celestial retelling of a classic love story, will the end remain the same, or will love conquer all? This is a fast paced romance with plenty of steamy action, wise cracking demons and angels galore to keep you interested throughout this tale of two factions.

This book had some really different twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I was not expecting the love between the two guys, it was a little unexpected, consisting of that it’s so normal to read about a man and women but not two men, and honestly it was so amazing to read. not only were the characters well written that I found it hard not to fall in love with these two that their story was just as good. Lots of things happened that really kept me hooked on this book. This author wrote an incredible book all around, that really was entertaining and enjoyable. This paranormal, action, love, LGBT, and revenge book is a total must read.

What a unique and interesting take on Romeo and Juliet – and a much better version in my opinion. Jace and Cyrus are simply amazing. I loved them individually, and their characters, and I loved the connection that was so easy to see between them. Despite everything being against them I desperately wanted them to find a way. The story itself is exciting and well written. Although I knew it was based on Romeo and Juliet it definitely does not live in its shadows. This is a real page turned and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!
This book is based in Greek Mythology, the story of dragons and their slayers. The story is that the dragonslayer will not be a complete person until they slay their dragons. By slaying one’s dragon, they release their soul into themselves in order to live their complete, fulfilled life. One night, dragonslayer Apollo, aka Saxton, meets a woman named Orelle, in a club. Her dancing and scent intoxicates him and he is immediately attracted and doesn’t understand why. Orelle, is a dragon disguised in her human form. The two of them have a mutual attraction, but Orelle is not supposed to be out amongst the crowds. However, the two of them keep finding each other and finally give in to their whims of sexual attraction. Each of them, though, are keeping many secrets. How long can these secrets stay hidden? Will they figure out why the attraction is there, and if they do, what does that mean since they are mortal enemies?
Overall, I thought this book was okay. I like the idea of the story and the Greek Mythology behind it. I thought that the characters were interesting. Orelle, I liked her ambition and straight-forward aspects. With Saxton, he was extremely straight-forward which I don’t normally have issues with, but I found it unattractive in this character. I think a lot of that comes from the wording that the author uses. There were times where I just thought the wording was cringy, and I like dirty talk, etc. He did grow on me toward the end of the story, however. I also didn’t really like the narrator of the audiobook, he sounded Scottish. This could be a big reason why I thought that the book was just okay. The accent was pretty thick so I, at times, lost interest in the story.

On a night out with his fellow slayers to ease his disappointment, he is drawn to the scent of a woman he sees dancing at a club.
A woman he wants in his bed.
Orelle Molyneux has had a close one. Defying the rules, she slips out of Havenshade to relish the open forests of Derwent Valley when she is nearly caught by her slayer. Never does she expect that when she opens her eyes, her fantasy man is in front of her and takes her breath away.

Zoey Taylor is a 15 year old teenager who is already super smart and dedicated to get out of Texas. 10 years ago, she was told by her family that she disappeared from her home and was found by her brother Corinth. Ever since then, she always had nightmares. Now she comes to Thanksgiving with new friends, a billionaire showing up to her family door, and many secrets revealed. It gets a lot more fun to listen!

Roxanne Ferris is a woman who writes a blog, but she has a tragedy burdening her shoulders and so is best selling author Claudette Grayson, although there are decades in age between them, all they want is to escape from the memories haunting them. This led them to meet when Claudette asked for someone to be her caregiver over her last summer, she is unwell and has not got long to live, whereas Roxanne is younger but weighed down by her world. Both women both write and find they in common, but as they spend more time together, other things come to the fore as well.
Claudette is determined to write one last story and she wants Roxanne to help her with it, so they discuss the setting, timeframe, characters and the storyline, in between these conversations, Claudette gives Roxanne her notes so that she can start the task of writing it and it being up to her expectations. As the women dive into this story, they bond over it, however when Claudette goes to bed, Roxanne starts to experience unusual things in the house and starts to think that it is all in her head, so she tries her best to ignore it.
As time goes on, Roxanne starts to hear and see one of the fictional characters in the house and at some point, the apparition starts to talk to her and it all begins to feel a bit too real. Who is the stranger, what is his story and is it just a coincidence that he resembles one of the characters in this story? Will this summer be the undoing of both women, or will their sanity come out of the other side unscathed, stronger and more resilient, bringing about the peace they both so desperately crave? This is an emotional rollercoaster as the supernatural and fictional combine to create a fantastical story of grief, life, love and loss which will ensnare you hook, line and sinker from start to finish.

It had been a while since I had read this book so I couldn’t wait to experience it in a different format. And what a great way yo dive back into it this was. I found myself becoming so immersed in the story while listening to it and I was completely hooked once again with the story. I thought the narrator did a great job – the boom was vivid and easy to picture exactly what was going on. It made me excited for this series all over again. For me, everything about this is perfect and I think everyone should have a listen today!
