Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn is the third book in the Chase Security series, even though you can read this as a standalone, I would recommend reading the whole series. This was another great addition to this series, and I swear the more I read from this author the more I fall in love with her books and writing style. Holly and Julian are the characters in this story and boy are they an amazing combination with the connection and chemistry. The book is written amazing where it just flows and the storyline is strong. I had trouble putting this book down for the simple fact I got lost in its world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This has been a fun series to follow and this book being the third, I would suggest reading the previous two before diving into this one. We really grow and get to know the Chase Security team throughout them but the characters overlap from book to book. Dunn really has a knack for writing a well developed and layered story. I love that the romance is simply a layer, not the whole read, and in doing so it becomes an enhancement not a chore to read. I was anxious to get my hands on this one and discover more of Julian, and was he as smooth and sexy as I ever expected. Holly and Sadie bring a sweet and sassy side to the story and kept me giggling at times with some of Sadies antics and points of view. I really look forward to seeing what we will get in the next installment.

This is the 3rd book in the Chase Security series and it was definitely my favourite! I liked the first two but I just found myself completely gripped by the story in this one. I really liked the characters Julian and Holly and I absolutely adored Holly’s daughter Sadie! She was such a special little girl to read about. Julian’s character appeared in book 2 of the series but I really enjoyed getting to know him more in this instalment. He’s such a lovely character, really genuine and I loved the connection he had with Holly. I was definitely rooting for these two the whole way through because they both deserved to be with someone special. Overall a really enjoyable read, although part of a series it can be read as a standalone. I look forward to more from this author in the future!

Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn is the third book in the Chase Security series. This book can be read as a standalone although I would definitely recommend reading the whole series. This is a story that is full of action and has some strong characters to back this up. Holly and Julian were such a good match for each other their story just seemed to work. The whole book was really well developed. The author knew when to push things forwards but she also knew when the story line would benefit from taking a step back. I thought the characters were really the focal point of this book. While there was a great storyline the characters are really what shone through. They had a strong connection and that you could feel on every page. This has been a brilliant series so far and I am looking forward to seeing what is next.

Secure Heart is the 3rd book in the fantastic Chase Security Series by R.L. Dunn. Each book in the series could be read as a standalone but I would recommend them all, and doing so in order as previous events are mentioned and may make more sense if you have read the previous books. Added to the fact that they are all fantastic books then I’m sure it would be no hardship to read them all. We got to know a bit about Julian Dupart in the 2nd book Secure Again and I’m so glad that R.L. Dunn chose to give him his own book as I was interested to find out more about this intriguing man. We really get to know Julian throughout this book and I absolutely loved this man. He’s super smart and a total whizz at his job but we get to see so much more of Julian and discover that he has a heart of gold. His leading lady in this book is Holly Dupree Morrison and I adored her too. She’s had a horrible life so far and will do absolutely anything to protect her adorable daughter Sadie. I must add that Sadie absolutely stole my heart. She is the most adorable child ever and had me in tears at a few points with her whole outlook on life (and death). As with the previous books in the series there’s so much more than the romance story going on and in Secure Heart the storyline running alongside the romance is dark and dangerous and very entertaining. I was really gripped by the story and did not want to put this book down. I desperately hope that R.L. Dunn choses to write more about the Chase Security team.

Secure Heart is the third book in the Chase Security seriesby R.L Dunn. It is a bit of a romantic suspense, with second chances, danger, stalking, drama, emotion, chemistry, spice, and plenty of character growth. I am really having trouble picking my favourite from out of this series (so far)- as each book is quite riveting. Again, as with the previous books, there is a lot going on in the book- and I liked the fresh feel to the storyline- as well as having a lot of characters to keep track of- which all the series books seem to have, and is a characteristic I now associate with R.L Dunn’s work. It definitely adds extra interest to the story. I loved Holly, and Sadie. They’re such great characters- and I loved the extra emotive quality that Sadie brought to the overall storyline. Julian is just as smooth as I would have expected, being a Chase Security team member, not to mention former Navy SEAL- and it was great to tag along for the ride, and really ‘get to know him’. The story is really well developed, with palpable tension and suspense woven throughout the storyline. The emotional component was both heartaching, and at times very touching. This was a really engaging and enjoyable read! Looking forward to the next book!

Wow…there is a lot going on in this book and it is an amazing ride. While this book may be intimidating due to the amount of pages, I found myself flipping through them so fast and I arrived at the end of the story before I knew it. I was so engrossed in the story that I completely tuned out the world around me.
Martin, the CEO of Chase Security, is called home when his brother ends up in the hospital. Elizabeth is the doctor treating Martin’s brother. The two share a heartbroken past that they must face when they see each other again. This is not your typical second-chance romance, though. First, R.L. Dunn makes them work hard to move beyond the past and even have a chance at a future. Oh…and there’s the web of prisoner abuse and other crimes that they must unravel along the way.
This book was fast paced and action packed. I read it from cover to cover in one evening because I couldn’t put it down (I had to know how it was going to end!). There were twists and turns along the way which kept me fully invested until the end. I enjoyed the first book…but I loved this book! This series is amazing and I can’t wait to see what R.L. Dunn has in store next!

I love this second installment from the Chase Security series. I loved the non stop action that kept me on the edge of my seat. R.L Dunn is quite the storyteller and was able to tell so many sides of a story and I never got lost once. Dr. Elizabeth Reed is one of those strong female characters that you can’t help but love and Martin Bailey who will stop at nothing to bring to justice the person who has hurt the woman who has stomped on his heart and maybe win her?!?
I love this book and this author! I cannot wait for more!

Secure Again is the second book in R.L. Dunn’s Chase Security Series. Just like the first book in this series you are hooked from the first page and the authors words keep you hypnotized until the last page, even then you want to just jump to the next book to keep reading. This book is filled with action, romance, and mystery. You follow the characters Dr. Elizabeth Reed who is a trauma surgeon and Martin Bailey who is a former Navy SEAL but now the CEO of Chase Security International. These two have a past but is the love they once had still there? Will she get to the bottom of the issues at the prison? The author did an amazing job writing the storyline and book altogether. I loved reading the book Secure Heart (Chase Security Series #3) by R.L. Dunn. It is a story that once I started, I was hooked. I love the characters of Julian “Smooth” Dupart and Holly Dupree Morrison. Julian is a man who has taken the helm at Chase Securities branch in San Diego. He has discovered problems that include substandard care of patients. He is a man who works hard and because of the past doesn’t easily let anyone into his heart. Then he meets Holly. Holly is an amazing singer whose whole life revolves around her music and her daughter, Sadie. She has found herself in need of a security team. She then meets Julian. Both Julian and Holly find themselves in the path of danger. Will those who wish them harm be caught? Will Julian let Holly and Sadie into his heart? Read this book to find out. I love that Holly is a strong and independent woman. She also realizes when she needs help and finds herself putting more and more trust in Julian. I grew to care about Julian, Holly, and Sadie with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. This story had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. There are also romantic moments. The author does an amazing job of writing a story with characters that come alive and that you can root for their success. Don’t miss out on this wonderful book. I enjoyed this book. It is the third book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as they are just as enjoyable as this one. This is a second chance romance story that is fast paced and engaging. The characters are well developed and are full of heart and soul. They bring the story to life and really made it pop. I had no problems connecting with them with each page I turned. I was pulled into the story with ease from the beginning to end. This story is about Julian and Holly. Julian is a widow and former Navy Seal and is in charge of running Chase Group in San Diego. Holly is an artist who seems to get involved with the wrong men. She also has a stalker who wants to kill her. What will happen when she hires Chase Security? Will Julian be able to protect them? This story is full of action and romance. I enjoyed their chemistry and watching them grow throughout the story. I had a hard time putting their story down and I think you will too. I highly recommend their story and this author.

Another nail biter from Dunn! I really appreciate how she weaves suspense with romance while being respectful of both genres. Her books are written in such a way as they can be read and enjoyed as standalone. However I enjoy seeing the depth of the Chase agency and finding how each character introduced works within the ranks. Each story delves into a new characters and new situation. This book has a surprising small town feel with all sorts of unexpected drama and risk. I loved Elizabeth and felt an immediate pull to her. Loved this book and look forward to reading the next in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in R.L. Dunn’s ‘Chase Security Series’, this was former Navy SEAL and CEO of Chase Security International Martin Bailey and Dr. Elizabeth Reed’s Story. High school sweethearts Martin and Elizabeth meet again when Martin (Marty) has to return home when his brother, Austin who is a Sergeant with the Silverton PD is shot in the line of duty. Elizabeth is the trauma surgeon in Silverton who treats Martin. Elizabeth notices a pattern of suspicious injuries that our occurring to prisoners at the local jail and wants to uncover what is happening. When she suspects that Austin’s injuries are also linked to the suspected prisoner abuse her and Marty work together to investigate. Whilst investigating Elizabeth and Marty find themselves in a complicated web of drugs, human trafficking, illicit porn, and prisoner abuse. As their feelings for each other are rekindled the couple find themselves in danger and they work alongside the members of Chase Security to solve the mystery before any more lives are lost. Another exciting and action packed story by Dunn, which can be read as a standalone story or as part of the series. It’s not just a second chance at love romance but it is also a crime mystery story with plenty of suspense and drama. The storyline had me hooked from start to finish and the plot twists kept me guessing whilst the narrative made the book flow nicely. I loved the main characters, Martin and Elizabeth who were both very relatable and I enjoyed how their romance was rekindled and developed throughout the story. The book is recommended for over 18’s due to its adult content. This novel also dealt with some dark issues from drug abuse to human trafficking but it also has some lighter moments and the characters really bought the whole story together. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Secure Desire is book one in R.L.Dunn’s new series, the ‘Chase Security Series’ and follows Ian and Kieran, the Chase brothers and their team of former Navy SEALS and other military officers. This story follows Ian and whether he and FBI agent Cassie, who specialises in stolen art get a second chance at love. Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander Ian Chase and his brother resumed control of their private security company and the rest of their international conglomerate, Chase Group, following a last brutal tour in Afghanistan. Ian and Cassie meet whilst she is undercover at a charity function but they had in fact already met six years earlier. Unfortunately the same night she met Ian was the night she experienced an awful trauma and seeing him again stirs up not only the feelings she had for him but also memories of that awful time. Meanwhile Ian also has feelings for Cassie but knows nothing of the trauma she has been through. Repressing her memories had actually kept Cassie safe but once her enemies realise she is remembering they act quickly to attempt to stop her talking. Ian has to keep Cassie safe, however she remains reluctant to share her past with him which may prevent them having a future together. This was much more than just another second chance at romance story it was fast paced and action packed. The plot had plenty going on in it to keep me happily turning the pages and it had me hooked from page one. The storyline has drama, suspense, mystery and of course romance. The story flows nicely and the characters are well defined and relatable. I was fully immersed in the storyline and felt well connected to the main characters. I enjoyed the romance aspect between Ian and Cassie and after all they go through during the story I was hoping they would get their happy ever after. I look forward to some of the background characters getting their own stories in future books in this series.

Elizabeth is a doctor who has a troubled past, although she takes her oath very seriously but when a man from her past comes crashing in will her heart be able to survive the encounter.
Martin is the CEO of Chase Security, when his brother is admitted into hospital, Elizabeth is the last person he thinks he will see, but will there past be able to be overcomed and hopefully create a fresh future or will the past catch up with them and will Martin have to save her from the threat that is attaching them.
This story is full of action, thrills and twists. Martin’s character in the first book was so strong and controlled, in this book you feel the vulnerability in him and it is great to see him in turmoil over this independant and sassy woman. This story was well written and had me on the edge of my seat with every turn of the page. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and see which one of the characters is next to get his story.

Secure Again by R.L. Dunn is the second book in the Chase Security Series. This is a continuation of the first book, so I highly recommend reading book one in the series first. This story focuses on Dr. Elizabeth Reed, who notices a mysterious medical issue at the jail and Martin Bailey, CEO of Chase Security International, who has his own investigations ongoing. This is a good story that is full of suspense, mystery, and romance. I was drawn into the story and wanted to keep reading to find out what was going on for Dr. Reed and Martin’s cases. I liked there were separate stories, but they intertwined. I also enjoyed the characters. I look forward to reading more in this series soon.

This is the story of Dr. Elizabeth Reed who is very independent and successful. She is a trauma surgeon who will do anything to help her patients. When a police officer shows up in the ER she is shocked at the state his is in. She knows something fishy is going on and she’s going to find out what. Martin Bailey is a formal Navy Seal who gets a call that his brother Sergeant Austin Bailey has been shot in the line of duty and he’s needed at home asap. Once he gets home he’s so focused on his brother that he is in complete shock when he see’s his old flame Elizabeth. Once she and Martin catch up they try to figure out what is going on in this town. As the investigations into the shooting and also into the prisoners injuries continues can they find out what and who is behind it before its too late and more people lose their life? Will the fact they are investigating put them in danger? Can an old love be reborn and made stronger than ever?
All these questions keep you guessing all through the book and keeps you gripped all the way through. I loved it and can’t wait to read the next one.

Secure Again is the 2nd book in the fantastic Chase Security series by R.L. Dunn. Dunn was new to me when I started reading this series but I’m sure I will continue to read their work as this series has been excellent so far. Each of the books in this series can be read as a standalone but I would advise starting from the first book and reading them all in order. This is more relevant when reading the third book (which I’ve just started) as there is some mention of what had gone on before in book 2, I also advise this purely as this is a fantastic series and I think that others would have a great deal of enjoyment from reading all of the books. At just under 500 pages this is quite a long book but it is fast paced and very action packed and will have you totally engrossed and not want to put this book down. There is so much danger, mystery and intrigue that totally grabs you from the get do and just doesn’t let you go. I absolutely adored the 2 main characters in this book, Martin and Elizabeth, and was totally invested in their story. This is a second chance romance for them and they totally deserve a HEA but the author does not let this come easily for them. They are both really put through the mill on the way. I only have 1 thing about this book that is a very slight negative. There is a very large cast of characters and I found myself at times struggling to remember who were the ‘good guys’ and who were the ‘bad guys’. It’s a very minor issue and certainly did not reduce my enjoyment of this book.

Secure Again is the second book in the Chase Security Series by R.L Dunn. This is a fast paced action packed story that pulled me in from the beginning and kept my attention till the end. I will say that this can be read as standalone but id highly suggest reading this series in order. This is Dr. Elizabeth Reed and Martin’s story. She’s a surgeon and he’s former Navy SEAL and now CEO of Chase Security, these two have a past together. Elizabeth starts to notice a increase in injuries involving some of the prisoners from the local prison . She sets out” to get to the bottom of it”. Martin gets called back home because his brother got injured at work. Oh boy when these two come face to face old feelings come back. Can they figure out what is going on? Is she in danger? Can these two have a future? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next I. This series .

Secure Again is the second book in R.L. Dunn’s Chase Security Series. After finishing the opening to the series, I knew that I will need to get on her notification email list so that I would not miss out on the other books in the series AND I tell you, based on the sixteen founding members, we will have sooo much to look forward to! You can read every book as a standalone but I promise you, you will want to read all of the books in the series as you get to know the guys better and better and you start making connections and the pleasure you get … Just open the book and look at the list of the people listed at the beginning of each story … oh my … firstly, thank you for that list and secondly, seeing this list I can just dream about the hours we will be sending in this Chase Security universe! Secure Again is Martin Bailey is the CEO of Chase Security International and one of the founding members and who is based out of DC. He has to return to the Midwest suddenly because of the family emergency and he comes face to face with Dr Elizabeth Reed, his one and only … There is so much heartbreak and so much pain in this story and it goes beyond Marty and Beth’s story, it shows us the perverse corrupt side of humanity and how much it takes to try to make things right … Kudos to the writer for putting together such a fast paced story that is so interwoven and intricate and heart breaking and … it has everything that one can wish for when picking up a book! I cannot wait to head to San Diego with Julian next!

Secure Again: A Chase Group Story was a great 5 star read. Once I started I couldn’t put it down. There is so much going on with all the characters. Elizabeth is a surgeon and Martin is the CEO of Chase Security.
Elizabeth is a very caring person and becomes concerned when she starts seeing patients from the local jail coming in with injuries. When Martin gets called home after his brother has been shot, he finds out that Elizabeth is the one keeping his brother alive. These two have a history that didn’t end well for them.
As the investigation continues on both the shooting and the jail injuries things intensify. Can Chase Security get the answers and solve the mystery? Will Elizabeth and Martin reconnect and have a second chance at a HEA?
Overall I loved this book, I was pulled right in and couldn’t wait to see what was coming next. You get suspense, mystery, romance and so much more. I am really enjoying this series. All of the secondary characters are great. I highly recommend this series.

But Martin and Elizabeth also have a past relationship- and soon old feelings are bubble to the surface, adding to the already charged situation. With a complicated web to untangle, there is no time to spare if they are to figure it all out before anyone else dies. There was a lot going on and a lot of characters to keep track of, too. Making for an intense read. Bring on Book #3!

Ohhhh my, I just totally adored this book. I was completely sucked into it and couldn’t put it down until I had soon consumed it in one full sitting. Literally, I never even got up to cook supper this book consumed me that much it lead to a fantastic pizza night in our household!
Elizabeth Reed is everything you want to see in a female lead. A strong and fierce force to be reckoned with when it comes to medical integrity, she truly made this book so delicious to read. I Farmer (Martin) Bailey is the type of man that makes you weak in the knees; delicious, strong, protective, and down-right a hot Alpha lead. Elizabeth finds herself questioning the injuries that are coming in with the inmates from the local jail. As a doctor something doesn’t seem right and she is determined to get the the bottom of it. Just as that is heating up she is also faced with the fact that she is keeping the brother of the man she loves alive. These two do not have a pretty past but can they work together and find a beautiful future together? I can’t wait to see what the next book in the Chase Group stories will bring us.

Secure Again by R.L. Dunn is the second book in the Chase Security series. This book is a fast paced book that is full of twists and turns the whole way through. It has you on the edge of your seat wanting to find out what is going to happen. The characters are such strong characters that for me they really carried this book. I loved the feisty and strong side you get to see of them and how well that worked with their connection. The story itself felt exciting and like the author really knew how to keep you guessing. It meant that I did struggle to put it down once I had started reading it and finished it in one sitting. This is a great addition to the series I am looking forward to seeing what is next.

This the second book in the Chase Security Series and I have to say that it is better than the first. I recommend reading the first book to enjoy this installment. The story’s plotline has amazing details to describe what was going on. I felt as if I was right there with Chase Security. The characters are complex and complicated. The agency has former Navy Seal Martin, as the CEO of Chase Security and he is transiting into the role nicely. Martin’s brother, Austin was shot and his high school sweetheart Elizabeth was the surgeon for his brother. Will Martin and Elizabeth restart their high school fling? Will figure out what is going on in their town? I highly recommend this story to find out the answers to these and many more questions.

Secure Again was definitely a 5 star read for me. This book had everything one could possibly want in a book. Dr Elizabeth Reed and Martin Bailey are both such strong characters and I love them both. They both have amazing jobs and are both so good at what they do. Elizabeth Reed works in a hospital and is the best at what she does. I love some of her antics such as hip checking the bed to make the heart jump to show there is a heartbeat. When Elizabeth decided what she wanted to do in life she went all in. She will not save a cop over a prisoner. Everyone gets equal treatment in her care. When she starts noticing things that are not how they should be she asks questions. Such questions could be dangerous for her. Martin and Elizabeth have a history and when they come face to face some feelings come barreling back! There is so much going on in this book and I’m glad Martin went to Iowa when he did. Someone is out to get Elizabeth, will he be able to save her and her career? There were lots of characters….so many were evil some were good, it was hard to keep them straight but I did. This was a great read and I strongly recommend it to everyone.

Secure Again is the second book in the Chase Security series by R.L Dunn. I loved the first book in this series and this book did not disappoint! When the brother of Chase Security CEO Martin Bailey is critically injured in the line of duty, Martin has to return to his childhood home. Dr Elizabeth Reed, Martin’s former love, is tasks with saving his brothers life and the two are forced to reconnect. It soon become apparent that Martin’s recent investigation is connected to his brothers injuries and Elizabeth has had suspicions in the past that everything in her small town is not as it should be, especially concerning the local prison. This book is brilliant, it is so exciting from start to finish and you never know what is going to happen next. I am definitely a fan of this series and cannot wait for book 3.
