This was a really good book! I’m going to be honest, the first few chapters made me iffy. I was convinced it was going to be a drag and that I wouldn’t understand the timeline at all. However, at about the 35% mark, things evened out and this took me on an emotional ride I didn’t quite expect. There is a trigger warning for miscarriage and drug abuse for this book. While I anticipated that I just didn’t anticipate exactly how much the main female character, Elsa, would break. It put several different things in perspective for me during the course of reading this novel. I cried while reading and it definitely lifted me up at the end. This is by far an 18+ novel, there were several spicy and steamy scenes not suitable for younger readers.

This was a really interesting read. The world building is unique and interesting and so was the storyline and plot. However, I don’t think this is meant to be a standalone, and I haven’t read any of the previous books in this series. The storyline felt like a standalone but I think all thr world building has been done in previous installments and I just feel like if I would have read them first I would have enjoyed this book more. This is a Sci-Fi novel, and one that is unique in my opinion just because I haven’t read another book like it before. Overall I did enjoy this book I just think I would have understood it better and enjoyed it more if I had read the first novels in the series before hand.

I’m going to start my review by saying this: I have never wrote a book, I have no intentions of writing one, and I never plan to get a booth at a con. However, if I ever were to do so, this book had a lot of good advice on doing so and how to go about it! The author included checklists, life stories about her experiences, and well meaning advice. For a quick help guide I thought this was very practical and straight to the point. For an author or artist trying to get involved in a con I highly recommend this book! I think it could help anyone who’s wanting to get out there and do it!

This was a really good book! This is not the first I’ve read from this author, but this is the first book I’ve read from this series, which is a standalone. I wasn’t sure at the beginning of this story how I would feel, but once I had the midway point I was obsessed and could barely put it down. This book made me chuckle, had me rooting for the demons and was just hard to put down. This was a steamy romance but this book is more focused on the emotional side of things than the physical. This was a quick and easy read and I highly recommend it! I don’t think Author ever disappoints!

This was a really interesting read! This is a  deeply interwoven novel of family, history,  betrayal, secrets, conflict and coming together again. There were several twists and turns I didn’t expect (not in a thriller or horror way, just a historical and kismet way I wasn’t expecting from the blurb) that kept me reading didn’t let me stop. This was a deeply engrossing and engaging novel that had me thinking throughout about several different things and factors. Racism, slavery, how things look on the surface may not be what they seem on the inside. This was a deep, thought provoking novel. Trigger warning: there is a rape scene in the novel that may be triggering for some. I highly recommend reading this novel and hope to read more from this author in the future.

This was a really good book! I was immersed in this novel from the beginning and it didn’t let me go. This was enthralling from the get go and as a result I had trouble putting it down. It made for a very quick read. The book was descriptive and very well written. I loved the characters and I felt like I was right there with them through the whole thing. I can’t wait to read more of this series and more from this author. I can’t wait to see what happens next and with more characters!

This was a really good story, but I didn’t feel like it was executed well. It seemed very spotty and choppy to me. I had a hard time getting lost in the story because the timeline wasn’t established well and it seemed to keep skipping from one spot to another. Just very choppy. I enjoyed the characters and really enjoyed the book before this one but for whatever reason this one just didn’t flow well for me. Maybe it was an off reading day but I just couldn’t get into this one. Overall the story was great it just didn’t enthrall me.

This was a really good read! This was a great sequel to the first book and just as entertaining and action packed as the first one. I love the characters in this book and they just keep getting better with each one. This was enthralling story with a great plot. I swear I don’t think this author ever disappoints with her novels, everything I’ve read from her is great. I could hardly put this book down once I started reading it. This series is quickly becoming a favorite and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

This was a really good read! It seemed historically accurate and I was super enthralled while reading this. It was easy to read and for a 400+ page book this went really fast as well. The characters were well written and very enjoyable characters. My only complaint were the names. I know they’ve got to be historically accurate and thank goodness for pronunciation guides! Overall this was an amazing read and I can’t wait to read the next one!

This was a really good read! And I very riveting and fulfilling end to Tasha’s and Levi’s story as well. I enjoyed going on this journey with them and I’m very glad I decided to pick this series up. This book picks up right where the second one left off, so it’s not a standalone series. This one was romantic, and suspenseful, and enthralling. I could hardly put it down. It was very well written and descriptive, I felt the words coming right off page into images in my mind. I was easily lost in this book. I hate to see this series end but loved the ending itself. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

This was an interesting read. Now I’m not sure if I was having an off reading day or not, but I just couldn’t get into this one no matter how much read or for how long. I just kept spacing out. Maybe I just didn’t get the story? The imagery and descriptions were amazing and this was a very well written novel. I just don’t think I was in the mood to read a book that was as deep and dark as this one was. This isn’t my first time reading a book from this author before, so I knew what to expect, I just really wish I enjoyed this one more than I did. Hopefully I will enjoy the next one more!

This was a really good and well written book! Now I’ll admit, it took me about 30% of the way in to actually enjoy this and get into it, but once I did I was hooked. I loved the ending! It was great and kind of enthralling towards the last few chapters. The characters are interesting and it instantly grabbed me. I enjoyed the historical aspect of this clean romance novel. I also enjoyed the authors note at the end, where she describes how she was inspired and goes on to talk about the historical accuracy of this book. Overall I really enjoyed this book and wouldn’t mind reading the other installments of this series!

This was a really good read! I was invested from the beginning and the moment that Lexi got her gun out with the random dude in her bed. It was enthralling from the get go and so worth the read. There is a trigger warning for content in this book, in regards to rape, pedophilia, and suicide. There were a few (what I thought anyway) graphic scenes. But this book was so emotional and well written I didn’t want to put it down. This was just all around a great book. This is the first I’ve read from this author before and it won’t be my last!

This was a good read. The other books should be read in order, this isn’t a standalone series. I vaguely remember what happens in the second book, so getting started in this one was a little slow with trying to remember. This is a shifter romance, and it was a quick read. Some steamy scenes are written so this is definitely an 18+ novel. While I enjoyed reading this book and the plot was interesting, some scenes felt a little rushed and there was a lot of missing time in between scenes and I kept getting confused when they would switch. Overall this was a good read and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series.

This was a really good book! The writing and storyline were immersive and I easily lost myself in this book. This was interesting because I’ve never read a book about a music star with a stutter, and I really enjoyed that. Madison was sassy which I loved so much. Sassy characters are some of my favorites! This was an amazing read all around emotional to read as well. This series I feel can be read as a standalone, since this is the first book of it I’ve read and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

This gave me a whole new perception on fantasy/supernatural stories. The author was able to write a whole new fantasy world with supernatural characters in a way that was new and not boring. I was able to get lost in the plot while reading this novel. I immensely enjoyed this novel and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

This was a really good book! It was cute, sweet and also informative. While it was written in a way to inform younger children, it works to inform older kids and even adults as well! I loved the poems in this book, they were so descriptive! There are games and activities you can play to help visualize how a blind person lives everyday. There was even a crash course in reading braille and sign language! For such a small and short book, this one is jam packed with information and activities! I really did enjoy this one.

This is a great, sweet and romantic holiday story. I loved seeing Amber and Gio’s love story unfold. This book made me laugh and cry so it’s definitely worth the read in my book. This author never disappoints and this book is no exception!

This was a great sequel! This book picked up right where Red’s Peril Part one left off. This was a great continuation of Red’s and Cheryl’s story of finding love and staying together and I loved the ending. Definitely could be some triggers for people so be wary when picking this up. I’ve said it before about this series and I’ll say it again, each story (this one included) takes you on a journey that is usually action packed and can be emotional. Each book just keeps getting better and better to me and this one was so exception. Kudos to the author and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

This was a really good book! This was probably the most interesting of the series I’ve read so far because the author went back and we got to see how Red became a president of an MC and it actually showed a lot of backstory. Like most (if not all) of the books in Satan’s Devils series this book was emotional, dark with some opportune humor thrown in there. I absolutely love this MC series and this book was no exception! This book does end on a cliffhanger, as it is part one of a two part story.

This was a really sweet story! I wasn’t sure what I was expecting, something a little different, but this was very sweet to read! I wanted to read it to my one year old daughter but this is a little too much for her understanding right now. I would say this could be a good story to read to maybe 4-6 year olds. I plan to read this to my daughter when she gets older. It has a great premise and the illustrations are beautiful. I think kids would really enjoy having this book read to them!

Oh my gosh! I cried SO MUCH while I was reading this book! I thought the first book in this series was heartbreaking on my emotions, well it has NOTHING on this one! I absolutely loved this ending! I don’t think my heart could have taken it if it were any different. I feel like this is a book and series that everyone with a beating heart needs to read. I was in the mood for an emotional cry and by golly I got one today! This is a book that will not leave me anytime soon. I really want to see more of Tori and Will in the future! To the author: thank you so much for writing this series! I hope to read more heartbreaking and HEA books in the future like this series!

This was a great urban fantasy read! I will admit that this book took me a bit to get into, once I got into it was amazing. This was a really good book! This was a great conclusion to the Her Three Immortals series! It was a very enthralling, entertaining and quick read. This book is just like the others in the series, and has all you can ever want from a book series. These books have spice, they’re entertaining, they have humor, they’re inspirational and the events are quick so it doesn’t feel like you’re reading this book forever. I’m so glad I decided to pick up this series! I can’t say which book is my favorite but I really did enjoy this book. I feel like the ending was absolutely perfect. If you like spicy books with an entertaining storyline this is the series for you! And this is not a standalone series, each book needs to be read to understand what happens. I can not wait to read the “spin-offs” that are coming for this series!

This was a really good book! This is a fake fiance/fake marriage kind of story, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. It took me several chapters to really start getting into it, and I feel like the author skipped around a lot of events that she could have went into more detail about, like the wedding and just their life in general. Weeks and months would go by and everything was just kind of skipped or glossed over. I really enjoyed reading this story, it was enthralling and captured my attention and I loved the characters, but I would have enjoyed having a bit better of a timeline while I was reading this. I did enjoy this boom however and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

This was a really interesting book. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when I picked this one up, but for a such a short book it didn’t lack in content. I wasn’t expecting a story where the main character helped people pass peacefully into death. It was very interesting and not something I’ve read before so that makes it unique. While the content was lacking for a 57 page book, I still felt like things moved fast and I would have really enjoyed more of a backstory and some world building. Overall though with the amount of pages and how quick of a story this was, the quality and content wasn’t bad at all. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read the next! Or at least hopefully there will be more!
