This was a cute read! I really enjoyed when Jake went to daycare, and this book was just as fun! I tried reading it to my infant daughter but she was more interested in our puppy than she was the fictional one. I thought this book was cute, sweet, engaging and so fun for children. I really love the extra stuff at the end, the activities for parent to do with their children and the guides for fear and worries in children. I think this is a great book for parents to buy for their children of all ages!

Bared was an ok read. I really wanted to love this book better than I did. The synopsis sounded great and I thought it would be incredible. Maybe it was just an off reading day but this book didn’t capture my attention at all. I never felt drawn in, to the stories or the characters. It was entertaining, just didn’t hold my attention. I hate that I didn’t love this book like I wanted to. I’m going to give it 4 stars though I didn’t hate it. It was just very eh to me. It was well written and had a great premise I just really think I had an off reading day. Maybe I’ll enjoy the next book in this series better!

Hold Me Forever was a great read! It was entertaining, quick, sweet, and I laughed several time while reading this novel. Raven’s story was so good, but I honestly honestly I enjoyed Lark’s better! It was so hard for me to put this book down when I started reading it. I fell in love the moment I read the first page. I really hope Nolan continues this series somehow but I don’t see how. I just love Heron Harbor so much and I don’t want to end! This was a great read and I highly recommend this standalone series!

Cursed Touch was a great read! I’m not sure if this one was my favorite or not that I’ve read from this series so far, but it was really good! I occasionally felt lost from the story, like there wasn’t enough background or description going on. But I easily got lost in this novel and found it hard to put down. It was sweet (like most of this series) and VERY steamy. This can be read as a standalone novel but it definitely flows better and gives better background to the recurring characters if you read them in order. As usual I loved this novel and I can’t wait to read the next one!

It was a short read, and for a quick read this one really packed a punch! I was laughing throughout the whole novel, but the end had my crying. This was such a sweet read! I am so glad I decided to pick this book up and read it. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future and to read the sequel novel!

Hawke was a great read! This is definitely a dark and graphic romance story, with some possible triggering points for people who have went through abuse in their life. I couldn’t stop reading this book. Once I started I couldn’t stop. It completely enthralled me. While I felt some of the storyline was drug out and wishy-washy, I also feel like it added to the story. This a completely thrilling romance that will keep you in its grip the whole read. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

Repair was a really good read! It was a short and sweet read as well. It was predictable in a sense, but still a really good comforting feel good read. This is a slight forbidden, second chance romance story with a lot of heart and heat. I was rooting for Tank the whole time while reading this novel. If you’re looking for a quick, light-hearted yet slightly emotional read this one is for you! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one!

Sign Steal Deliver was a great read! I knew it was going to be good, because honestly anything of Carrie Pulkinen’s is going to be great. I’m used to vampires and shifters from Pulkinen, and while one of the main characters in this book was a shifter, it was so interesting to read a book about the Greek gods in a modern day world. I was very impressed with this book. The humor was also spot on. I can’t wait to read the next installment to this series and can only hope it’s as good as this one was!

The Third Nanny was a great read! While I wouldn’t necessarily call it a thriller, it definitely had some shock value especially at the end. I was completely enthralled while reading this novel and could hardly put it down. There is just something about it that makes it really hard to stop reading. I haven’t read any of the rest of the books in Secrets of Redeption series but I feel like they could be read alone novels since this one is. This book definitely made me want to go back and read them though. If you’re looking for a mystery type crime book with shock value this is the one for you!

Avenging Devil: Part 2 was an incredible read! This book picks up exactly where part 1 left off. I think I like this part better to be honest. There is a lot more action, and the story starts to pick up. This one (to me) was just overall more entertaining and this is the one where all the action starts and ends. I was in tears, suspense and even laughter throughout reading this book. So far these 2 parts might be some of my favorites of Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series! I absolutely can not wait to read the next installment in this series!

Manifested Dreams was a really good read! However, this book was a little difficult to read as a white woman. There were snippets of history sprinkled throughout this short novel that I never learned about at school. Reading this book really made me realize all of the privilege I actually have. I highly encourage everyone (especially non people of color) to read this, to maybe gain some insight into the struggles people of color have faced and continue to face everyday. My only complaint was the flow. I feel like the letters could have flowed and segued better throughout. But this was a very interesting and informing read. I’m glad I picked this one up and learned from it.

Snowflakes and Holly was a really good read! This is the third book in the Hartwood Holiday Romance series by Jae Dawson. This is a standalone series and do not have to be read in order. I absolutely loves reading this book. It had great characters, and a great storyline, and was highly entertaining. I thought book was hilarious too. I absolutely loved Blake’s outlook on life and he had me cracking up. I also wanted to cry while reading this book too. It was so sweet and wholesome! I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series!

Houses of Deception was a really good book! Each story I think keeps getting better and better. Madeline Dawkins has led (and continues to lead) a very interesting life and ways prevails against all odds. This is a thrilling crime and sleuth series that is definitely worth the time of reading it. This book was no less disappointing at all. I love how Hamilton is able to capture your attention from the first page and hold it until the very end. I definitely recommend this book and this series.

A Cold Day In Hell by Naomi Valkyrie was a great read! This is the 5th book in the Life Is Hell series and I think this one may be my favorite yet. This book was full of suspense and humor, and honestly I couldn’t put it down. Each character has so much personality I love each and every one. While this can be read as a standalone novel I would recommend reading them in order because there’s so many characters you will definitely be lost with them if you don’t. While I haven’t seen anything about another installment, I really want one because I just love this story and world so much!

Sex On Fire by Ashley Bostock was a very quick read. I honestly expected it to be a little more steamy, but for how short it was I was very impressed with the story. Less is more indeed. It was very quick and to the point, and interesting. It was also interesting to have a female lead interested and in the business of video games as that is usually a male dominated area. So I really enjoyed that small aspect. If you’re looking for a quick happy ever after story this is the book for you. I can’t want to read the next installment in this series.

So typically I’m not a huge fan of poetry, but I really enjoyed reading this short book of prose by Leon Stevens. Some of them I didn’t quite understand (and that’s fine, I’ve never been great with deciphering the meaning of poetry) and others completely resonated with me. I think the two sections The Human Condition and People and Places contained my favorite pieces. I give this book 4 1/2 stars but I’m going to round up and say 5. I really did enjoy these pieces, so a big thanks to Stevens for allowing us the opportunity to read them.

This memoir absolutely broke my heart! Some of this was triggering so be warned. I was in tears throughout the whole book. The trials and pain this author went through is just unbelievable to me. I honestly couldn’t put this book down even though my heart was begging me to because it was very difficult to read. No one should have to go through what this author went through. This is a book I think everyone should read at least one time in their life. It was sad, and heartbreaking, and pitiful and absolutely beautiful to see how successful she became. She has got an amazing story and I’m so glad she decided to share it with us all. Thank you so much Jessica Aiken-Hall!

The Heart Of Baker Bay by Danielle Jacks was a really good read! At the beginning I wasn’t sure if I would like the main character Jody, but her and her quirks quickly grew on me. I thought this was a quick, short read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot was really good, the storyline was interesting, and the characters had a lot of character. I was laughing throughout this novel and even wanted to cry at some parts. I’ve read another book by this author before but so far this one has been favorite! I can’t wait to read more from Jacks in the future!

They fit together so perfectly! I’ve actually been wanting to read this book and this series for awhile so I’m glad I finally got a chance to and I wasn’t disappointed! By the way this ended I’m pretty sure it’s a stand a long book and series and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series.

Avenging Devil: Part 1 (Satan’s Devils MC – San Diego Chapter #3) by Manda Mellett was a great read! I swear I think each book by her just gets better and better and this one definitely wasn’t a disappointment. I was hooked from the beginning, and I didn’t want to put it down. This was a tear jerker novel and very emotional. Definitely not for the faint of heart. This book does end on a cliffhanger (hence it being part one) and I absolutely can not wait to read part two when it’s released!

Beginnings and Endings: A Selection of Short Stories by Jane Suen was an interesting read. Each short story is very quick, I read this whole book in about 20 minutes. I would have to say, Grits Girl and The End Of Summer were my two favorites. The Accident just left me wanting more. I didn’t particularly like how the story ended on that one. The End Of Summer would be great to have a sequel. I would love to find out what Mikey’s response is at the end. All in all this was a very quick, entertaining read, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of short stories.

This story is great for all ages, teenagers to adults. Gregory has led an incredible life, with tons of stuff that shouldn’t even have happened, and I felt very honored to he able to read her story. It must have taken so much courage to share not only her experience with her disability but her whole life story and I applaud her courage in doing so. I can’t wait to hopefully read more from her in the future!

The Rise of Manifesto The Great by Kerrie Noor was a decent read. The story was really good, it just didn’t feel well executed to me. I don’t know if it was an off day reading for me, but I just couldn’t get into this story and get lost in it. I felt very disconnected from it. I definitely saw some of the humor in this book but most of the jokes fell flat to me. I really hope it was just an off day for me, because I really wanted to enjoy this book more than I did. I would love to read more of Noor’s novels in the future though!
