The Princess and the Pit Bulls (The Fairy Tale Series Book 4) by Jody Lynn Daniels is a sweet romance story that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Chloe and Sebastian are very well developed and easily relatable. Sebastian has just moved to town with his two pit bulls Bonnie and Clyde he also has taken over the veterinary clinic. Chloe had it all till dating the wrong man has marked her as a thief and some are calling her a gold digger. She is actually good with animals . These two meet at a wedding and he is instantly attracted to her and a added bonus his dogs love her to. What does their future look like? What happens when his past comes back to the present? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Help Me Harry (Collection: Sun, Sand & A Ring On My Hand Book #2) is a fun insta-love romance by Mya O’Malley.
Cassie when a trip to Key West for her friends bachelorette party where a chance meeting with a hunky bartender at the local tiki bar has her re-evaluating her life.
Harry works as a bartender at the tiki bar, who came to Key West to escape his painful memories and to get a fresh start. He has earned himself a bit of a player reputation with no real intention of changing, until Cassie turns up with the bachelorette group. He is drawn to her right away- now he just has to convince her to give him a chance. One small problem- she’s engaged….
A fun read- although it did seem a little rushed towards the end. I am looking forward to seeing what Ms. O’Malley has in store for us next.

This book had me hooked from the beginning. I was on the edge of my seat through a lot of this story wondering when or if they were going to catch this person doing these horrible things. Matt has a personal interest in catching this person and it’s making him very frustrated and on edge. This story is fast paced, full of suspense, and I love the technology used in this book. There are other great characters in this story as well. I highly recommend this book.

The Princess and the Pit Bulls is book number four in the Fairy Tale Series and i thought it was a really good and sweet read. The flow of the story was great and i really enjoyed all of the main characters. Chloe is the heroine and i loved her. She is one of those people that id love being friends with even though she has been through the ringer that is life and it hasn’t been fun for her.
Sebastian is the hero and i adored him. He has a past that will soon catch up with him but i couldn’t help but love him and the way he was with his two pits and Chloe. I felt for them and the hardships they each had to go through. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a sweet read!

I loved this book! I felt like I flew through this book and didn’t want it to end so that’s a sign of a good story.
I really felt like I was in this story as a friend watching all of this happen and unfold and I will be reading the rest of this series. The characters are relatable, and actually felt human and not a story character who makes a living selling pencils living in a mansion lol. This series are all standalones but still will be reading them all.

Five Stars

Virtually Gone: A Mended Souls Novel is the sixth book in the High-Tech Crime Solvers Series by Jacquie Biggar. Each book in this series is written by a different author featuring recurring characters and the theme of technology and crime. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Biggar, but definitely won’t be the last. I found the story compelling and the characters easy to relate to. It was fast paced and I didn’t want it to end, but I also wanted to find out who-done-it. I’m going to try my luck with the other books in this series, and also try some of Jacquie’s other books. I think she may turn into a go to author for me.

Calamity under the Chandelier (A Sleuthing Starlet Mystery Book 1) by Camilla Blythe

I like mysteries but hadn’t been reading many recently, but there was something about this book that drew me in and it did not disappoint.

Cora follows her friend to England for a new life. She had no idea how different and difficult her new life was going to be.

She seemed to be the only one with any sort of common sense most of the time, but especially after the murder was discovered.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a nice break this weekend. Fairly quick read, kept you thinking all the way through. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

What a thriller!!! This is one of my favorite authors and this story proves why.

All I can say is WOW. This story kept me at the edge of my seat. Jacquie Biggar is one author that I follow on all platforms. Her writing style engages me from the first page until the last. She spins a story that will take you on twists and turns, ups, and downs. I have to reread some parts because there was a curveball that came out of nowhere. Her characters are easy to understand. They have defined characteristics that make you “like them” or “hate them”. In this story, I felt a connection Julie Crenshaw. She was handed a case about women who have been raped by a serial rapist. She may get herself in trouble. Detective Matthew Roy is the detective on the serial rapist. Can Detective Roy catch this rapist before there is another victim? Will Julie be careful so she does not become the next victim. I highly recommend this story to see what happens next.

I give Virtually Gone: A Mended Souls Novel (High-Tech Crime Solvers Book 6) by Jacquie Biggar, 4 stars.

This is crime novel that uses advanced technology to catch a serial rapist. This takes the traditional detective novel and enhances it with the use of up and coming advancements in technology. The story itself is very good too. We see things not only from the point of view of the detectives on the case, but also the reporters they happen to be friends with. Then of course there is the view of the perpetrator. This adds another layer of suspense. I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen next and if they could catch the killer in time.

If you are a fan of criminal thrillers that used new ways of catching the bad guy, this book is for you.

Calamity under the Chandelier is the first book in A Sleuthing Starlet Mystery series by Camilla Blythe. I absolutely admired Cora picking up her life and going to England with her friend Veronica. Veronica, who is big in Hollywood, just eloped with an English earl. She decided to give up stardom and move to England to be with her husband. After Cora is fired from her job, Veronica asks her to come along to help be a buffer with her husband’s disapproving family. What seems like a typical holiday turns into a chilling murder when a chandelier falls and kills someone. Cora is determined to prove Veronica’s innocence, no matter what everyone else thinks. This was a quick afternoon read that left me wanting more. The author does a wonderful job keeping the readers on their toes with suspense. Also, I loved how the story was based during a past era, back when people didn’t fly to Europe but traveled by boat instead.

Calamity under the Chandelier (A Sleuthing Starlet Mystery Book 1) by Camilla Blythe. I Loved this book! This story takes off in the time period of the Flapper era. There are 2 American girls Cora whose career is on a downward spiral& Veronica who has married the son of a Duke, in England during the Christmas season. They find themselves in the midst of a mystery when Cora takes Veronica’s place on a trip. Cora is meant to be on set in Hollywood not in freezing wet England. Now here she is in this big fat mess. The Duke’s family does not like Veronica so Cora has to stay to help protect her friend. When a chandelier falls on someone and kills them at a party its going to take every bit of skill Cora has to keep her friend out of jail. Will Cora find out who the real murderer is before they lock up her best friend? Will her career ever take off again. This was such a fun book to read and it kept you reading until the very end.

It can be read as a standalone but will make much more sense if you read Book 1 first. This story takes you back to 1779 Savannah and you feel like you are actually there in the book. As Katie and Colm enter 1779 Savannah they face all kinds of obstacles including, lies, betrayals, secrets and old enemies. While Katie has to protect the book she is being taught magic. Captain Colm & Katie are swept into danger, mystery and intrigue. This is a super fast paced read and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will Katie and Colm keep the book protected and will they all survive this crazy Time Travel?

The Frontman by Lawrence Parlier. This was a new author to me. This genre is a little out of my norm but I was absolutely pulled in by the mystery and thrill of this book!!! I was so engulfed in this book that I could not put it down until I got to the end. The twists and turns will keep you reading and reading fast!!! I found this book to be an amazing story, the book is about the mysterious death of a rock and roll legend…. Sex, drugs, rock and roll, suspense, mystery and a constant flow storyline made this a great book!!! I can not wait to read more by this author!

I liked the idea of the story but I struggled with the delivery. There seemed to be too much filler or may be idle story. I don’t need every second of the day nor do I need overlaps of conversations. With that being said the idea was great and I loved it. The two species getting together and her family not wanting to accept him was good. The addition of turmoil was good but I wish there was more. The ending was cute. Overall an ok story. With more character development and a few other changes and it could shine.

Wow this book had me gripped from the first page and was full of so many twists and turns I didnt see the end coming
I’m so gripped I can’t wait to see how the story continues.

After being enrolled into an academy to be taught skills and how to use her powers she realises she is more than even she first imagined. With greater abilities come greater problems and knowing that the dark side would kill to have her join their team she now has a struggle to know who to trust. The Traveler: Chimera Revolution (Book of Eleanor #2) by Shannon Nemechek

Mrs. Shannon has really outdone herself with this book! As this is my first read from her I highly recommend reading book 1. I loved everything about this witty, page-turner. This book follows Katie and Colm on their next adventure.

Katie, a 21st century woman, is thrown back into the past. A past in which she finds love. When she starts learning things; it seems the past isn’t all it seems.

Colm, a Captain,is thrown for a loop when he finds love. He learns that his great great great grandfather isn’t all he was told. He learns things his father didn’t even know.

This is the second book of The Eleanor Books and I highly recommend it. It had me on the edge of my seat and I honestly couldn’t put it down. I would read the first so you aren’t confused with what’s happening.

It is a complex and thrilling tale and this new world CL has created is unique and intriguing. Her writing always manages to leave you with vivid scenes that are easily imaginable, and you can see where she takes you. This gripping tale will keep even the keenest reader guessing at each and every turn. This is a standalone novella but I recommend reading the others, so you get the background of the characters and an understanding of who and what they are.

It seemed rather simplistic and predictable in its telling at times. It is a quick and easy read that will keep you occupied for an afternoon. With a cast of so many, things get interesting as everyone is viewed as a possible killer.

This book was so much more than I bargained for!
The characters were amazing, even the bad guy’s! The events surrounding Avery, Kerry, and Calliope were described in such detail it made me forget that this isn’t a real story, almost like those moments that make you think this is too weird to make up, haha. The friendships that were formed, strengthened, and torn apart had me reeling.
I really enjoyed how this story was told, as each person had their own chance to tell their side to the story, and it came together very well, very few questions not answered in some way or another. There was a lot packed in this one book, by the end I couldn’t put the book down, my emotions were off the charts and some parts were a bit closer to home than I would have liked, but Lawrence executed the delivery spectacularly!
I will have to keep my eye out on this author, I can’t wait to see what comes next.

The Wandering Isles by C. L. Schneider is the first novella in the Crown of Stones series, and was a great read! It was so comforting for me to be back in the world with Troy and Jarryd again, but this time on a new adventure. I loved the first three books in the series so much, I was overjoyed when this one came out! This book definitely did not disappoint, and exceeded all the expectations I had for it as well! Completely enthralling, it captured me from the beginning. It was also a quick read, at least in regards to other novels in the series. The synopsis says this can be read a stand-alone novel, and while it can be read that way, it makes much more sense when you read the other three books first! I highly recommend reading not only this novella, but the other books as well!

The Frontman by Lawrence Parlier was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning and couldn’t put it down until I was done.

We start the story with the death of a legendary artist Kerry Vance. He passed away shortly after the first show of his latest tour. Kerry’s friend Avery doesn’t believe that it was a suicide and is determined to found out the truth behind his death.

Avery meets Calliope who is looking for his help. Will Avery help her? Can they find out what really happened to Kerry?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. There were all sorts of unexpected twists and turns. All of the characters added a great element to the story. This is my first read from this author and I loved it. He pulled me right in with his writing. I love the fact that he is a musician himself so he has a lot of great insight to the Rock n’ Roll world. I look forward to reading more from him. If you’re looking for a great mystery with suspense and drama, this is the book for you. 1-click and get started today.

Wow This was a thousand times better than I expected it to be. This is a Mystery / Thriller that I couldn’t stop reading till I finished. From the very first page till the last I found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. Music Legend Kerry Vance is found dead at the beginning of his Tour. The news of his death was pretty shocking to most of his fans. But his friends and Family are not convinced it was an accident. What happens when a Mysterious woman shows up ? Will they get to the bottom of this? You guys this is a must read . I don’t want to give anything away but read it for yourself you won’t regret it I promise . This was my first read by Lawrence Parlier but its definitely not my last. I highly recommend reading this.

Valerie and Tim are planning their wedding when murders start occurring in the area. So many twists and turns you can’t help but keep reading without putting this book down!

I was totally hooked to this story. Lots of things to discover, secrets to reveal and also the heat between these two! I cant wait to read more in this series, they all sound great!

The dinner quickly takes a tragic turn when her friend’s uncle is found dead. Margot finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and is left to support the family while the local police are investigating. This is a nice short book with likable characters and an intriguing mystery. It is a good introduction to the series and would recommend to fans of this genre.

I knew this was going to be good when I started it and I was not disappointed. Its part of A Crown Of Stones Series but can be read as a standalone. Its a fast paced read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Its the story of Ian Troy who has given up everything for peace. His magic is no longer wanted or needed so he is free to do what he chooses. His choice to set sail on a journey to explore with his friend Jarryd Kane ends up in a crazy survival test. They end up at the Wandering Isles where the inhabitants haven’t been seen for years so the guys think it is deserted. What they find is something very different. Will they survive the crazy battle they are about to be in? Read The Wandering Isles to find out!

St. Nick’s Christmas Wish (Holiday Hunks Book 7 – Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection Book) by Tamara Ferguson . Tamara Ferguson is one of my most favorite romance authors so I knew I was going to love this book and I was not wrong! Its the story of Nick Hanover a stockbroker who is on holiday in Bali to get over his recently broken engagement. Nick is sort of hard hearted at this point because growing up he had everything money could buy but he was not the center of his parents eye. His family has tons of secrets and when Nick turned 18 his father shared a lot of those secrets. While Nick is in Bali with his friends they meet a group of girls at a bar and he is drawn to Emma, physically and emotionally. They are both sad that their encounter was so short. Emma is a Stylist in Crystal Rock and during the holiday she runs into Nick again helping with several charity events in town. While they get to know each other better, Emma realizes that Nick just needs to be loved and she thinks she just might be the girl to do it!
