Forgotten Chance by Virginia Wine, the third book in this astounding trilogy, is as amazing as its predecessors! I absolutely could not put this book down, I couldn’t help but find out what happens next! This book is as emotional as it is steamy! I definitely recommend this book, as well as the first two! I wholeheartedly look forward to reading more from Virginia Wine!

Saint Code: The Lost is the first book in the Saint Code series and the fourth book in The Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie. I absolutely adore this series! I became addicted to Megan Mackie’s stories back in the first book in The Lucky Devil series and have been eagerly anticipating each new release. This story doesn’t continue the thread that began in ‘Finder of the Lucky Devil’, but seems to predate it. Instead we follow St. Augustina the cyber-spy as she (along with St. Benedict) takes on a new job after being hired by the very mysterious Orange Lady for what seems to be a routine, if not dangerous, case. Read this book to find out what happens!

I have always enjoyed Brooke May’s books. I love how this book is nothing like I have read before. We are introduced to Jax and his disability. He feels that he needs to constantly go above and beyond to prove to everyone that it’ll never hold him back. Lennox walks into his life and the sparks fly. Jax is now more determined than ever to reach the goal he’s accomplishing and the one thing that stands in his way is Lennox’s brother.
I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Bottomed Out by Brooke May is the fourth book in the Moto X series. This is a series that I have loved from the word go and I was so glad to read this book. As with the other books I found the story to be exciting. I was drawn into it immediately and it felt like the pages just turned themselves. And the characters were so amazing! They were strong and had the fight in them that makes them so easy to read about. This is such a strong series that even though it had been a while since I read the previous books I was taken right back into that world so easily. This is a great book and one I would highly recommend.

Boy on Hold by JS Spero is a book that utterly took me by surprise and had me hooked right from the word go. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was a bit sceptical going into it. The description didn’t really grab my attention but I couldn’t detract from the amazing reviews. I decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did. The story that unfolded as a complex and intriguing story. The characters we so compelling. It was a great story of family and mystery. As an introduction to this author I couldn’t have picked a better book and I am certainly looking for were to reading more.

I really enjoyed this story! It is the second book in the series and I haven’t read the first but I had no trouble understanding the story at all and I absolutely would love to read book 1 now to fully understand the story and characters even better. I really liked Becky and thought that she was a great main character, I really liked Emily also! The authors writing was really engaging and I think I have definitely found a new author to follow! The pace and flow of the story was great and I couldn’t put it down – I read it in one sitting and fairly quickly. I am definitely looking forward to more from this author in the future.

Night Justice is the fantastic first book in the Chicago Vigilantes Series by India Kells. I have been a fan of India Kells’ writing for the last couple of years and was excited that she has brought out a new series. As expected I absolutely loved Night Justice. She has certainly got this new series off with an absolute bang! Orla is an investigative journalist whose latest assignment is to find out about a new drug called Phantom that’s about to sweep across Chicago. At the same time she’s trying to find out information about the vigilante that’s been operating in the area. Little did she know that the 2 investigations would merge into 1 very dangerous assignment for her. Sam is a vigilante working for Noctem Consulting who is trying to stop the introduction of the drug. After a chance meeting with Orla, when he was meant to be following her, the 2 work together to bring down the team bringing Phantom to their city. This is a very fact paced romantic thriller that will keep you gripped from beginning to end. I love how India Kells writes a fantastic thriller but also adds some very hot and steamy scenes that will have you needing to fan your face. I’ve never read an India Kells book that I haven’t loved and I can’t wait to read more from this series. It has all the markings of being another cracker! Night Justice is a MUST read.

This was a good book. Megan Mackie has created a vibrant universe and I found myself drawn into it and the story. This novel centers on the journey of Saint Augustina as she searches for the truth about her world and herself. There are many twists, turns and surprises along the way. Saint Augustina learns the truth about herself and the ending is fantastic. Megan Mackie is an author to watch, she is good and I look forward to seeing more from her.

When I picked this book, I thought this was the first in the series. I did not know that it is actually the fourth in the Lucky Devil series. So, the foundations are all laid prior, characters are well established and the plot jumps into action right from the first page. That being said, even with the lack of proper background, I found myself drawn to this book. There were some jargons which I did not understand, but the book is fully action packed and is filled with twists and turns, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Saint Augustina is a cyber-spy who is hired to do the dangerous tasks. She is approached by a person who calls herself Orange Lady to accomplish three tasks for huge ransom of money. She pairs up with another saint, a Saint Benedict whom she does not trust. But she does not have a choice, and has to work with him. Together they set forth for the missions. As the case unfolds, they find out that this case is not the same as the others. Someone is behind to get Saint Augustina and what started with a neo-Ninja fight and other fancy attacks in the beginning, starts getting more dangerous and personal as the case progresses. I really enjoyed reading this book. As I had mentioned earlier, I did not read its prequels and so I am not aware of the evolution behind the characters. This the first time I have heard of certain genres like neon-dystopia and cyberpunk. I found it very interesting, all the elements were mysterious and very engaging! I hope to read all the books of this series.

This is a real action packed adventure set in a world called the Data Bowl which sounds like a futuristic world where people are anything but human.

As a freelance spy now she is approached by someone known only as the Orange Lady. The task she wants completing is straight forward and the price is is offering for completion is more than St Augustina could have hoped for.
However things aren’t what they seem and with each task she has to do the risk to her life increases until she is left asking herself what is happening and who wants her dead?
It is a fast paced story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

This is my 4th book by this author. It has become clear to me that she is a definite go to for my mystery cravings. I’ve loved all of them so far and I want to say that this one is a definite favorite.
I loved everything about this story, I think I have to point out though first that one of my favorites in Somebody in the Neighborhood played a really awesome part in this one which made me really happy!! He remains a favorite of mine. I loved the community and all of the characters. A few were a little sketchy but they were supposed to be to make this book a success. I want to walk into Beach Reads, grab a book, find a table and just spend a whole day reading and hoping Coquina will walk by a few times 🙂
Just like any of the other books I’ve read by Judy Moore, I think I have it all figured out about 90 times while reading, then talking myself out of it 90 times, never getting a firm grasp on the answer till the end. I Loved Loved Loved Beck. I loved that even though something happened in her past that led her on the course she was on that she didn’t let that stop her from following her instincts. She believed, therefore she never gave up! I truly truly hope there is more to come for all of these people. I could read a whole series with all of them and still want more! There was no cliffhanger but it ended with definite room for more, and I just can’t get enough of Scratchoff running around on his beach bike!
I truly hope Beck gets to explore more of what she always wanted to be and I think her doing that would make for some awesome storylines between her and Devon!

This book is a fun read. Out of my normal genre, but I enjoyed the cyber world of it all and was pleasantly sucked right into the story. The main character, Augustina, or Saint Augustina as she is known as, is a very strong, brave and independent cyber spy. She is cyber enhanced, but through it all, still remains more human than “saint”. Throughout the book we get to see a glimpse of her past which sheds some light on the person she is today. I really liked watching her being paired up with Saint Benedict, even though she is always wary of him, the two seem to be more friends than enemies. The characters are all very well written, the story is perfect, and the trouble the pair have to go through is intense and fun to watch. You can definitely read this book as a stand alone but, from personal experience, I would highly recommend reading from book 1, I didn’t, but I sure am going back to read the others after reading this gem of a book.

Forgotten Chance: Book Three (The Forgotten Trilogy) by Virginia Wine. This book was amazing. I have loved the whole series but this just brought it all together. The day has finally come, the wedding of Nathan & Bryer but good ole Cash is going to try to ruin it. Cash is a pain in the bootie and he is making himself really look bad even though he is hurting and taking out his hurt on everyone else. Will Cash succeed in tearing Nathan & Bryer apart. They have come so far and overcome so many obstacles that it is hard to think they won’t make it. Can Bryer look toward her future and forget her past so that she and Nathan can truly be happy? I loved this book the most out of all three but they are all really good. This one will have your temperature rising and you might need a cold shower at the end. Do yourself a favor and read Forgotten Chance!

The Lost is a vibrant cyberpunk novel by Megan Mackie. It is the first book in the Saint Code series and follows Saint Augustina as she reluctantly a mysterious and undoubtably dangerous job in partnership with Saint Benedict, with whom she has a complicated history. It’s an exciting, immersive story. The world is well constructed and I quickly became invested in Saint Augustina as a character. It is good to see a women of colour as the protagonist, and she is a resourceful and complicated character. It is fascinating learning about her backstory, and rooting for her as she tries to find a better life for herself. I particularly enjoy how Mackie blurs the lines between technology and magic. I found this very engaging, and it increased the sense of mystery surrounding the job the two Saints had set out to complete. For me, this is a five star book. It’s original and exciting, with a good balance of action and character-driven scenes. I would recommend it to sci-fi fans wanting to escape into a dark, exciting world.

Bottomed Out is the fourth book in the Moto X series by Brooke May. This is the first book I have read be Ms. May and it definitely won’t be the last. That being said, this book can be read as a standalone, but I’m definitely going back to read the rest of this series. This book had my emotions going up and down like a roller coaster. Jax and Lennox are great characters. They have such chemistry, but they are very relatable. I love the other cast of characters in this book and hope to read more about them in the prior books in this series. This was a really enjoyable read.

You need to start with the first book and work your way through. This last book is a culmination of everything going on with Nathan and Bryer and the evil of their past that they have been trying to put to bed but just keeps raising its ugly head. Will Nathan and Bryer hang on to their love or will Cash ruin their chances of a happily ever after? Virginia keeps you on the edge of your seat as you try to figure out what’s around the next corner.

Winter’s Wolf (The Cursed Book 1) by Lou Grimes is a YA paranormal story that has a bit of everything. The story is so vivid that it takes you away from everything and draws you into the world of shifters. I love a good paranormal story and this fit the bill nicely with murder and mystery, drama and suspense, action and adventure, the paranormal, shifters/werewolves, self-discovery, family, friendship, romance and more. I enjoyed the characters and found myself laughing at their banter. The story and the characters were well written about romance, friendships and family. There is so much more story to be told and I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book.

Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May was a super great and steamy read! I loved Jax, he was strong, smart, and capable. I loved his resilience. The pacing was good and I loved the plot. The experience felt real while I was reading. I feel like I was sitting with a friend who was updating me on her life. Definitely worth the read!

Deleted is the first book I have read by Ruth Mitchell, and I am glad to have come across it. This is one of the most amazing books I have read this year. It made you think so much, and wonder, because something like this could really happen in the future. It wasn’t so futuristic that its sci-fi, but technology you can actually envision. The book focuses around two pieces of technology- that is like wearing a smart phone in your sunglasses, and a mind reader. You can talk to the phone and it will answer and follow your commands. It has apps that can translate in real time, tell you someone’s name with a brief biography, or look something up for you. But with great power comes great temptations and risks. Someone has learned to mind hack, altering and erasing memories. To wake up one day and have your boyfriend or girl friend be a complete stranger. This happens to Lucy and Marco, and they must work together (as strangers) to try to stop it from happening again and again. Highly recommend this book. Not my normal genre, but so happy to have taken the chance on it.

The Lost (Saint Code) by Megan Mackie 4 out of 5 stars I love the name St. Augustina. How freaking cool is that. The Lost is the first book in the Saint Code and St Augustina is one amazing character. She is a super cyber-spy. She is in the thick of the cybernetic revolution. Along with her friend St Benedict, she is in the fight of her life. Thrown in some neo-ninjas, betrayals from friends both new and old and you have a story that will keep you sucked in until the very end. Mackie is an amazing author who never ceases to amaze me. Her style of writing is both effortless and detailed. She can pack an entire action scene within a few pages and you do not feel overwhelmed. This book is for the lover of all genres. Highly recommended for all.

What a conclusion that was!! So much suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat!!!! And the softer version doesn’t take away from Bryer and Nathan at all! I cant imagine what Virginia did to bring two different versions of this story but she truly did fantastic! A job well done indeed!!!

Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May. This book was amazing! I have loved this series but this was one of my favorites. I love Jax Hunt and he’s my new book boyfriend :). This is the story of Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax has always been determined and hard working but since he has a disability he feels like he has to work twice as hard to prove himself. He has set out to do anything that a person with 2 working legs can do and a lot of the time does it better. When he meets Lennox Austin he feels like she sees him for who he really is not his disability. Jax has always been consumed with being better at all things than the next guy and now he’s consumed with this beautiful, intelligent and strong woman. We are back with Misty and Derrick who are now King and Queen of what is now called Starrycrest. This book focuses on their adoptive daughter Kara, who like Misty is in a wheelchair. This is a lovely modern day fairytale with a difference, in that the main character, the princess, Kara has a disability. Kara has the starring role in the Starrycrest Starlets’ production of The Nutcracker, however to achieve her dream she must prepare for the biggest night of her life with a dance partner she does not like. Soon Kara faces bigger concerns and must face her deepest insecurities when big changes occur which threaten her place both within the Denison family and in the kingdom. Things are complicated further for Kara when she hears of a program that helps orphans find their forever families but comes up against refusals from those within the royal family when she attempts to do similar in Starrycrest. In the background are the troublesome trolls who are after revenge following the events in the previous book. Allison M. Boot conjures up a magical world of royal families, kingdoms, magic and trolls and through her detailed descriptions as a reader you really feel fully immersed in Starrycrest. The book is a lovely fairy story but it also deals with, family and family loyalties, adoption, personal insecurities and disability all of which the author has weaved into a magical story with great characters whom you grow to love and admire. The fact that the main character has a disability is sadly a rare thing in a book and this in itself makes Allison M. Boot’s novel unique. The author has written about the disability with such sensitivity and honesty that she brings awareness of disabilities to her readers. Although some of the characters cross over from Boot’s previous book, ‘Just the Way You Are’ and the stories are set in the same kingdom this can be read as a standalone book. I was very impressed with this novel and I hope it both inspires and educates readers that disabilities do not need to hold a person back from fulfilling their potential.

I enjoyed this book. This is my first book by this author and I look forward to seeing more from him. I had no problem connecting with the characters. They made the story interesting and engaging. I also enjoyed how they were supportive of each other which makes the story easy to read. This book took me on a journey of finding out if myths and legends are true or just stories as Adam has been told. He is in search of his missing brother. Problem is there is more than one person looking for the relic. He calls on a group of relic hunters to help him. Will he find the relic in time to save his brother? This is an interesting story that took a little bit for me to get into but once I did it turned out to be a great story. This is a young adult story that anyone would enjoy right along with the journey it takes you on. I highly recommend this book.

Night Justice by India Kells is the first installment of A Chicago Vigilantes series which is a dark romance with suspense. I was so excited to read this series when I saw it, between the synopsis and that cover. This is the first book I have read by this author but again won’t be the last, I love finding new authors that I fall in love with their work. This is a easy read that keeps you hook from the first page, there is so much adventure, action, mystery and then you add in the romance. Orla Karlsen is a reporter in Chicago who is determined to stop a new drug from spreading through the city but also to figure out who the masked Vigilante is giving his own justice to those who deserve it. Her and the Vigilante have such hot chemistry its off the charts. Highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed this book. This is a new author for me, I look forward to reading more from her. This is the second book in this series which can be read as a standalone. I will be going back for book one for sure. This is a well developed story that has characters that pop off the pages and into your heart. I had no problems connecting to them. Becky has many things going on in her life and they seem to be going well. What will happen when life throws a curveball into the mix? Will she take the leap of faith and beat her fears? I enjoyed the characters in this story. They kept the story engaging and had me turning pages. They brought twists and turns that made me want to know how things would turn out. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved reading the book REBECCA STEELE FINDING THE DREAM (REBECCA STEELE SERIES Book 2) by Joanne Patterson. It not only has a wonderful storyline, it also has wonderful characters too. Becky Steele is an amazing woman. She is strong, kind, loves animals, and is a star on the rise with her country music career. She has her best friend and sidekick Emily. Her world conspires to throw her a curve. What will happen? What does the future hold for Becky? Read this book to find out. This is a book that is exciting, entertaining, and just plain hard to put down until I had read the final page. I grew to care about what happens to Becky with each chapter that I read. I wanted her to be happy. There are some moments in the story that I didn’t see coming as well as moments that made me smile. The story did have my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading. I loved that the story took place on a ranch and that animals, such as horses and dogs were included. Don’t miss out on Becky’s journey. It has romance as well as moments that touched my heart. I highly recommend reading it.
