Stars Fall From the Sky was a great 5 star read and book two in the Reigning Hearts series. K.G Fletcher has once again pulled me right in with her writing and I didn’t want to stop until I was done.
My emotions were all over the place during this read, laughing, crying, sobbing mess. This is Ginger and Jonathan’s story. Both of them have tragic pasts that they are trying to move forward from. My heart absolutely broke for Ginger, I was emotionally drained. Ginger has her best friend’s wedding that brings her close to what changed her whole life, the ocean. This is where she meets Jonathan. They start out as friends but soon feelings start to develop.
Can Ginger ever be happy again? Can a person have more than one soul mate?
Both characters were great although Jonathan frustrated me at times, he was so stubborn. You can’t help but be captivated by their story. These two helped each other heal and we get a HEA. There is so much more to this great read, you will love it. I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today on this great series.

This is the third and final book in this series and boy does it pack a punch. As soon as I picked it up I wasn’t able to put it down until I read the last word. This story is full of lies, deceit, intrigue, danger, suspense, and so much more. Charlotte has essentially risked everything, her career and reputation most of all but that doesn’t stop her. This book had me on the edge of my seat trying to read faster to find out what the outcome was going to be. This is a must read!! I don’t want to give anything away but I will say that this will definitely entertain you. The author did an exceptional job writing a gripping thriller in this wonderful series.

Opposites attract and sparks fly in this latest novella from Alexander in the Spicetopia series. Intended for mature readers, this is not meant for younger eyes. Take the caution seriously folks. Alexander pulls no punches when it comes to passion and what that looks like to different people. She also has an uncanny ability to dial in to relatable characters that speak to you whether they could be you or not. Another page turner that you will not put down easily. How ever will she follow up in book four? Cannot wait to see!
The perfect novella to get you in the holiday spirit. This is a quick and easy read that you will want to finish without leaving your seat (and easily succeed). I love Regent’s way with words and her character development. This novella is a feast for the heart and soul. Simply delightful!

I enjoyed this book alot. No matter what I read by this author, it ends up being great! This story is well written and I was sucked in from page one and I couldn’t put it down. This author is one of those that gives you a story that makes you feel all kinds of emotions, happy, sad, and I was eager to see how things would turn out. The main characters were also great. I felt like i was in the story with them and I felt for them and was rooting for them and their need for healing and a happy ending. I would recommend this story to a friend and i am looking forward to reading more by this author! Happy reading!

A Cowboy Under the Mistletoe was a great 5 star read. We get six great holiday stories with several hunky cowboys.Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Each story has its own wonderful couple, that you will fall in love with.

The second installment of the story of Tails and Brodie was definitely too short. It felt good getting reacquainted with old friends and learning more about their life together, but it ended too soon. If you are looking for a shifter series with a cool twist, the I highly recommend this one. Really, anything by this author has been a joy to read and I can honestly say I think you will enjoy.

Falling For His Badass by Jessika Klide is a book that grabs you from the first page. The book had twists and turns and ups and downs in a rollercoaster of emotions. The book is a love story you want to be a part of. The characters are very well written, the author did an amazing job. This is the first book I have read by this author and I will definitely continue to read more. I was sad when this book ended. I easily give this book a solid 5 stars.

Running in Snow: A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent is a super quick and easy read. The book is made up of two short stories set around Christmas and the New Year. I enjoyed both of these stories, and they were well written, but I wanted them to be longer, so I could fully immerse myself in them and find out more about the characters, backstories, and background information.
Noelle’s Promise Noelle has some really bad memories which centre around Christmas- so she decided a very long time ago that she would never celebrate the holiday ever again. But with boyfriend Logan now a huge part of her life- she has agreed to spend Christmas with him, AND his family. She is anxious about it all, especially when the festivities cause her memories and issues to bubble to the surface. Things come to a head and escape seems to be her only option. But she soon realises that she will continue to be stuck in the past and unable to embrace the future until she faces/deals with her past. A sweet story and emotive story!
Eve’s Hope Eve has major issues with New Year’s Eve, as she considers it jinxed. The unluckiest night of the year for her. So, the best thing to do is batten down the hatches and stay home. But you know what they say about the best laid plans… Circumstances soon have her accepting an invitation to her neighbor’s party- which she expects will be a flop. But is it? Will this be the New Year’s Eve that surprises her- the one that changes everything- the one that she will definitely remember? Well worth the read to find out.

This was my first book by this author and my goodness what a thrilling ride I was taken on. I felt for Isaac and how all he wanted to do was move on from his past, but life has other plans. I couldn’t flip pages fast enough to see what was going to come next. This is a crime book so the bloody scenes were expected and didn’t bother me at all. I look forward to more book by this author. Highly recommend this book.

Deliciously Sinful Liaisons by L.M Mountford is a collection of seven short stories which range from second chances, to friends to lovers, a mafia princess’ adventures, an erotic paranormal/vampire story, a taboo/forbidden story, and tales of temptation. This is a very quick and easy read and because each ‘book’ in the collection is so short, it’s one you can enjoy when your reading time is limited, because you can pick it up and put it down without feeling like you are left hanging. The stories are written to be titillating, quick and easy reads. There isn’t a huge amount of depth, or complex character development. I really wish these stories were expanded more, so we got more depth and development to fully ‘explore’ and invest in. I get what the author was trying to achieve- but I like my stories a little more ‘meatier’.

A few of these stories were ‘new to me’- but four of them are ones I’ve read before in previous releases. I wonder what L.M Mountford has in store for us next?

This collection of short stories is definitely a few of the hottest short stories I’ve ever read. All of them were very good and they just got hotter and hotter. If you like stories that are quick and turn the heat up the. This is definitely for you. I need to go and look for the next books because they were definitely easy reads.
This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I’m so glad that I read this book. I was hooked on the characters right from the beginning. I love military romance and this talented author exceeded all my expectations. I was so hooked on this story I read this whole book in one sitting.
Lizzy always falls for the boring type of guys. She wants to fall head over heels but she can’t find the right guy. Lizzy goes and visits one of her friends Tara. She is told by Tara that her boyfriend’s brother is perfect for her. Lizzy heads on a road trip and meets a beautiful man that she calls badass because he looks like one. I loved reading the two stories in this book. They will get you in the holiday spirit and are two sweet stories to read. They are romantic and will have you believing in the holiday spirit. One story will have you asking if your past define your future and the other if a holiday will be unlucky every year. I loved reading about the characters of Noelle and Eve. They are both characters that believe that their situation around the holidays will not change. Is that true? What does the future hold for Noelle and Eve? Read these novellas to find out. The stories did have my emotions going up and down as I was reading them. There are romantic moments and also heartwarming ones as well. It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until the last page. It is suspenseful and I found myself on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the character of journalist Charlotte Ashe. She is looking into a story that will lead her down paths that she never thought she would find herself. As she tries to find out the truth will the danger that goes with her investigation overcome her? Who can she trust? What does the future hold for Charlotte? Read this book to find out. This story had me feeling like I was in the story right along with the characters. There are twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. This is a wonderful anthology. It has stories that are romantic and includes cowboys that are both handsome and make you believe in true love. Each story was enjoyable to read and I found that I didn’t want to put the book down until I was finished. One of the reasons that I love anthologies so much is that it gives me an opportunity to find new authors. This story has six authors and this was the first time that I had read any of their stories. The book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading. I enjoyed reading both about the main characters and I couldn’t help but find myself caring for them and wanting them to be happy. There are heartwarming moments included in these stories. Running In Snow – A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent comprises of two very, very short stories that are easy to read but both are heart wrenching to some degree. One is set around Christmas eve and the other New Years eve. They are we written but I would have liked to see them as longer stories.

Cowboy stories are not my go to reads but I love a good Christmas story so figured I would check out this anthology. I am familiar with a few of the authors and this was my introduction to others.
This anthology really does run the gamut of genres. There is military romance, second chances, faith, fate, and more. What each has in common is that it is a complete story with a beginning, middle and end and can be read as stand-alones, oh and of course Christmas. Who doesn’t love a wee Christmas miracle every now and again?
I feel like there was a good range of stories and story telling styles to keep me interested from beginning to end. While a couple were not what I would typically read (more than just involving a cowboy) I gave it a shot an was pleasantly surprised.
This is an anthology I would recommend to get one into the holiday spirit.

I loved the characters and the way the story flowed. This was my first book by this author but won’t be my last. 5 star rating.

I absolutely fell in love with this story! Jessika Klide hit this one out of the park. I love reading about two people falling in love especially when you least expect it in life.
Lizzy has the worst luck with men so after a particular horrible break up, she was ready to let loose for the weekend. Her best friend and boyfriend decided that she needed to be hooked up with “a certain someone” which started a whole plan in motion to make her fall for him!
I loved this story and the very original storyline. It hooked me from the very beginning. This should be on everyone’s one-click list!

Running in Snow by Renee Regent is a collection of two Christmas novellas. If you like holiday romance the. I would say these are great books to read. They are short but sweet reads that are bound to get you in the festive mood. I really enjoyed these books. I liked the fact that even though thy we were short it didn’t feel like the stories were lacking in anyway. The basis of them were great and I loved the main characters. Eve and Noelle were different to each other so it didn’t feel like a regurgitation of the same. This was a great read and a brilliant way to kick start my festive reading.

Becki Willis is a new to me author and I can’t figure out why it has taken me so long to find her books. Chicken Scratch looks to be the 1st of many books in this series and I can not wait to read every one of them. This is my favorite genre and this author filled this book with everything I love. I think my favorite part is that the relationship that is just touched on here and there is still completely up in the air. Not sure why I like that so much but the build up is my favorite part and that was perfection.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and my mind jumped around a bit because every time I had it figured out something else would get thrown in the mix and I’d be completely wrong. Again just another favorite part of this genre and this book. I also appreciated the clean story, dont get me wrong I love the grit as well but it was refreshing reading an entire book without the sex scenes.
Granny Bert was my favorite, I loved Maddie and her best friend and the interaction between them all was spot on. I laughed quite a bit and I just can not recommend this book high enough. I can not wait to read the rest. There was no major cliffhanger but there are unanswered questions.

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd by D.P. Payne is a collection of four books centred around the supernatural. Each book features a different type of mythical creature and a fantastic story to go along with them. If you want something quick and easy to read that is also well written and engaging then this is the box set for you. Each of these books. The author has managed to create four wonderful and unique stories that will keep you entertained. The characters were draw you in and take you on their own journey. Falling for His Badass by author Jessika Klide is a cute, easy to read story that introduces us to Lizzy. Lizzy has absolutely no luck with men, love or relationships so she decides to take a sabbatical after her latest relationship ends badly. A weekend on her own at a nice hotel, a comedy dinner show she has wanted to see and no ex to bring her down sounds just like what the doctor orders. Imagine Lizzy’s surprise when she runs into, literally, B.A. hot guy who couldn’t possibly want anything to do with little old her!! This was such a cute, quick read and I truly enjoyed these two characters. I wish the story was longer though. Although this wasn’t my first book by this author it was definitely my favorite.

Stalking the Stalker is the second book in the Valley View Mysteries series from Laura Hawks. I haven’t read the first yet and it didn’t affect my ability to enjoy this story so it would appear they are solid stand alone novels as well. I will go back eventually and check out book one while I await the release of book three.
Laura Hawks writes some cute mystery novels. I find hers to be less focus on the gritty details and scary side of mysteries and keeps things fun and light hearted even with the detailed and mysterious storyline. I liked that I was able to read a mystery and not feel heavy while doing so.
Tyler Channing is in Valley View for a production that he is set to star in. Things do not go as planned when a stalker makes themselves known to the town. Add in a body and Detective Mitchell and you have a nice set up for a murder mystery to take you away for a few hours.

From the Ashes is the third and final book in the Ashes to Ashes series and was an amazing read! The action begins right from the get go and it definitely doesn’t stop until the very end. I would absolutely recommend reading this series in order to fully appreciate it. I love this authors writing, she is able to drag me into her stories straight away – she has a thrilling writing style that keeps my interest throughout. I have to say, I think this book may be my favourite from the series, I loved the first two but Ms Holloway definitely took this thrilling read to the next level. There were some great twists and turns in the story and I loved that I was kept guessing from beginning to end. I have loved reading about Charlotte in this series, she is a fantastic character! This really has been a wonderful series and one that I highly recommend reading! I look forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

This is my first read by Jessika Klide and it won’t be my last. This was an engaging read that was full of drama, romance and sexiness, it had me captivated from start to finish, and while it was a quick read, it didn’t leave anything out, it never lacked in the storyline or relatable, lovable & realistic characters. I loved the chemistry & spark that these two characters had, I really enjoyed following their story and journey through the read! I’m so glad I read this book, and can’t wait to read more from this author and see what other stories she can bring us along on. I highly recommend this read!

From the Ashes – a gripping psychological thriller by Rowena Holloway is the third book in the Ashes to Ashes series. I do not recommend trying to read as a standalone book. This series and the characters have grown with each book. This is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When I thought it was winding down something else would be discovered or happen. I really enjoy the character Charlotte and have enjoyed reading about her and seeing her grow as a character. I will definitely be looking for more from this author in the future.

Hidden Tracks is a wonderful contemporary romance novel by Zoe Lee. This is the 2nd time I have read a book by this author, having previously read A Perfect Fit, which contains the same group of friends. One of the things I mentioned in my review of A Perfect Fit was how much I loved the camaraderie between the group of friends and how much they all love and support each other. This was very much evident again in Hidden Tracks as the friends came together to support Seth, the main character in this book. I’d honestly love to have a group of friends like this. I adored the 2 main characters in this book although I have to admit to wanting to bash their heads together several times. Seth Riveau is a singer/songwriter with a lot of hurt in his past. Astrid Sinclair is a music journalist who used to be married to a very famous rock star. Her latest job is to write about the band that Seth used to be part of, and is currently helping them out at a few shows. The connection between them is instant and Astrid realises that the big story shouldn’t be about the band, but be about Seth. Interactions between Seth and Astrid are full of emotion, both trying to get a better insight of the other, but neither willing to let their walls down. This book really grabbed me and had me doing a lot of soul searching. The conversations between Seth and Astrid were often very deep and thought provoking. This is a really fantastic read and I really hope that the author writes more about this group of friends.

Running In Snow: A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent. The first book is Noelle’s Promise which is about Noelle who hates the Holidays. This year she has promised her boyfriend Logan and his daughter Lily that she will spend the Holidays with them and their extended family. She actually does ok through the party until one family member gets a little loud and brings back bad memories from Noelle’s childhood. She runs out and leaves Logan, Lily and the other members of his family wondering why? In the second book Eve’s Hope, Eve doesn’t like Holidays either and of course this New Year’s Eve is no exception, her heat goes out. So against her better judgement she accepts her neighbors invite to his party. At least she gets to go to a warm house right? While she’s there she starts unloading on her neighbor. Will he think she’s completely insane? Read this sweet Novella to get into the Holiday spirit!
