Burning Britely by Deidre Huesmann was a short teen love story. This story was refreshing, and light hearted for the most part. I enjoyed the characters and the story line. I love that the story line is not a typical love story, and they go outside the box. This is the first book by this author and I enjoyed it, I will definitely give another book by this author a read. Overall, I give it 4 stars.
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this pop up on my feed. I had absolutely adored Flowers in December and was left wanting more, not with loose ends, but still wanting some more of Connor and what would come next for him. This was that and so much more. We just happen to get a lot more than we may have even bargained for. I would highly recommend that you read the first book, Flowers in December before devouring this one, everything will flow and make sense so much more. This one is obviously a holiday/Christmas story but I really feel as is I will be pulling this gem out any time of year, whenever I need an emotional and yet encouraging read. I almost feel as if these two books together would create a great Hallmark Christmas movie. I can’t wait to find out what will come next from Jane Suen! I am sure it will fantastic whatever it will be, and on my to be read list! Happy reading!

Blade’s Edge is the 10th, yes 10th book in the Satan’s Devils MC series. Each of them can be read as a standalone novel, this being no exception. With that said, I would recommend that you read the all though, least important is order, but this will really give you the commeraderre and family story that really is truly the real beauty behind a motorcycle club. Manda Mellett has really accomplished bringing to life a great family here and I have loved following along the way with each one of the books.
Blade’s story was every bit as intense as I had anticipated it would be. Figuring out the horrible details of his childhood and his mother’s betrayal was heartbreaking. Watching him destroy himself in the the process of learning he is worthy of love was both beautiful and tragic. I enjoyed Tash as the leading gal in this one. She balanced Blade well I think in the long run. For me she got to be a bit much at times but really it all came to make a great overall novel so I can’t complain. Can’t wait to see what will come next from the ever talented Manda Mellett.

Daniela had everything going for her, she and her best friend were in college having a great time. Until a couple of tragic nights happen that send everything spiraling out of control for Daniela.
We jump ahead to Dani at a different college. She is struggling with trusting others, especially men. She has a set schedule for work and school that she follows exactly. When a hot guy comes into the coffee shop where she works, he causes her to feel things she hasn’t felt in a very long time. She ends up growing very close to Nathan, so close that she sees him as a best friend but he wants more. Then she meets Alex, which throws even more of a wrench into things.
We learn even more about Alex and Nathan. Nathan had me at hello, I really loved him and Dani would frustrate me with the choices she would make. Alex was ok but not my first choice. We get even more of a twist when someone starts to stalk Dani, bringing up feelings from the past. My emotions were all over the place with the twist and turns. The secondary characters were great, I loved Bridget. M.L. Garcia has done a great job of pulling me right in with her writing. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read more from her.

Coming Home: The Sequel to Flowers in December By Jane Suen. This is an incredible heartwarming story about forgiveness and more. From Page one I knew I was in for a wonderful story. The characters are relatable and you find yourself really pulling for them. The author knows how to to pull on the heartstrings of readers. I definitely found myself on an emotional roller coaster but it’s so worth it. I couldn’t put it down until the very end. I’m gladly giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to anyone. It’s a short read but it definitely shouldn’t be missed!

I have really become a bit of a fan-atic over the Bayou Devils MC Series from AM Myers. Every single time I finished one of them I say that this was the best and that they just couldn’t possibly get any better, yet I am time and time again proven wrong. Little Do You Know has by no sure surprise put the other books in a completely different level. I could not believe how raw and emotional the feelings got in here. Life and the absolute messes that prove to surround any love story, good or bad, is all portrayed here in this book. It is wonderfully real and I felt as if I was right there with Noah and Kady. So often I wanted to reach in and hug Noah, shake Kady, throw my kindle across the wall, and yet scream if it left my hands. I just know this, I couldn’t get enough. My only solace coming from the fact that the next Bayou Devils book is set to release in May. (2019) I am sure that it will once again be everything and more than I can hope for! If the Shoe Fits by Bea Stevens is the third book in The Liberty Lawrence series. This can be read as a stand alone book but I recommend reading the first two books before this one. Libby is advancing in her career but has gotten herself into some crazy happenings again. She is still the fashionista and working in the fashion department of the paper. I love the humor in these books and the characters. Libby is over the top at times but is a good person. She gets herself into some funny situations. I also like the supporting characters and how everyone plays a part in the story. I enjoyed this as I did the other two books. These are a great, lighthearted read when you need to relax and have a laugh. I look forward to more from Bea Stevens in the future.

Coming Home: The Sequel to Flowers in December by Jane Suen was a sweet fast-paced novella. Coming Home was told from multiple points of view and I recommend that you read Flowers in December to get a better understanding of what’s happening.
It has been four months since Connor’s mother’s death and he has decided to come home for his first Christmas without her. He runs into an old face and someone he has thought about for months but has that person moved on?
This was a wonderfully written novella. But I need more, you left me wanting to know what is going to happen next.

Betty Shreffler’s Claimed Royalty is the first book in the Crowned and Claimed series. The theme of this story is unique and the author has tackled this in a creative and thrilling way. Fiora, who is the Princess of this story, is torn between duty to her country and following her heart. Reading how this unfolds, I enjoyed the story more by each chapter. Life certainly isn’t easy when tough choices have to be made, including choosing between multiple suitors. Then there is Matheas, Fiora’s bodyguard, who stands out on his own within this story. There is drama, steaming chemistry, suspense and danger throughout this first book of the series which keeps the reader fully engaged. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series knowing how well this story was written. I need to know what happens next!

Coming Home by Jane Suen is the sequel to the great Flowers in December. This book does really need to be read in order as it continues on from book one. It is a relatively short read, just like the first, but it has everything in it you could want. After reading the blurb I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel throughout this book but the author does an brilliant job with it. It is highly emotional and packs so much into a small story. The characters all seem to have such a depth to them that carries the story well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish.

Burning Britely is a cute coming of age story. Deidre Huesmann has taken a sensitive subject matter into a beautiful story. Sometimes it is awkward enough to try to get through high school without being harass for being yourself. This is a story of a nerd who falls in love with the jock, the only difference is that it is a straight jock and a homosexual nerd. I love this story because it shows acceptance and not hate. It is hard enough when you are being labeled but it can be tortured and have lasting affects the rest of your life. As an adult reading the YA book, I would recommend that every child read a story of acceptance. I applauded Deidre Huesmann for writing this beautiful book.

I have read a couple of books from this talented author and she keeps on surprising me. This is the second book in the Flowers of December series. I absolutely love a good self healing story but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is a short book but it has it all. I devoured this incredible story in only a couple of hours.
Connor Norton finds himself back to his hometown. He left for a few months to grieve is mother’s passing. Connor still feels lost without her but her cat Tom makes him feel better. He is happy when he runs into Mary Ann again. Connor cares about her and he wants to start over again. He is still trying to find himself again as well. Will coming home help him with his life or will it make it even more upsetting?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, hope, healing, and forgiveness. You will fall in love with these characters all over again. Connor is lost without his mom. He thinks that coming back home will give him closure so he can move on. Mary Ann is living her dream but she wishes she had someone to share it with. She is still upset with Connor but a Christmas miracle could happen. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will have for us next.

I have previously read and reviewed LUKE in print. Let me tell you – actually HEARING it is a whole different experience. Because I’m a fast reader, I tend to skim over more detailed portions of stories. While listening to it, I was able to hear every word written (spoken). While at times the writing was overly detailed, I understand why it is written the way it is. I did speed up the voice a bit so the very detailed passages were ok to listen to.
The narrator did a fantastic job. Voice inflections and accents made it listening a pleasure. I also found the narrator’s voice to be very soothing, almost meditative.
I would recommend reading and listening to this book.

This is a fantastic box set of stories – all of them are absolutely hilarious! I love this author and her books never fail to entertain me. I am always dragged straight into her stories and the characters she creates are wonderful. This box set includes D*ckslip, Nipslip and Beaver Blunder.
D*ckslip – Book 1 Oh my god this book had me full on laughing out loud by the end of the first few pages. There was nothing missing from this book, apart from the fact it ended! I could have read about Andy (Andrea) and Rafe forever. Andy was a great character, she stood up for what she believed and tried not to back down in a male dominated workplace. Poor Rafe, I did feel for him but for some reason I wish I was at that basketball game!! *wink wink* I really like his character as he was genuinely a lovely person. I really did love everything about this book and loved that it wasn’t predictable. It was as I expected from this author brilliantly written, fantastic characters and a great storyline. The secondary characters were also great especially Rafe’s (older by 6 minutes) sister, she made me laugh a few times!
Nipslip – Book 2 I know by now that whenever I pick up a book by this author I am in for an entertaining read and NipSlip was no different. Having just read and loved DickSlip I was really looking forward to another romantic comedy to laugh at and laugh I did at this book! I loved it from beginning to end. I just loved Riley and Tate. Poor Riley I really did feel sorry for her with her wardrobe malfunction, but it did make me chuckle! I loved the chemistry between the two; I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through. I think I might just be a little bit in love with Tate if I am completely honest!!
Beaver Blunder – Book 3
After reading the first two books in this series I had no idea where the author would go with any subsequent stories but she has absolutely knocked it out of the park with this book! I was literally crying at some parts (crying from laugher I should add). I know when I read a book from Gwyn McNamee not to even bother doing anything else because I won’t be able to take my eyes off my kindle screen and that was true again! I loved by D*ck slip and Nip Slip but this one is my absolute favourite! I loved all of the characters, especially Maddie and Owen and it was great to see characters from previous stories appear too! Maddie, that poor, poor girl. I really did feel sorry for her! But I loved her tenacity and the way in which she was determined to get back to work despite what happened. I loved the connection between her and Owen and well I have got to be honest I am totally in love with Owen – completely and utterly head over heels in love with him! I don’t know how this author manages to come up with such amazing characters who are never the same! She truly is a literary master!!
This is a sweet story about friendship, family and finding love where you least expect it. I enjoyed this fast paced story from beginning to end. In this installment Ella may just find herself in love this time as she travels with her family around Europe. Her story is full of humor and cry in other parts a little bit. The characters are strong and easily relatable and connectable. This really is a fun story to read and I highly recommend picking it up.

What She Lost and Found was a wonderful read and a great debut novel for this author. I found I was hooked into the story easy, it had a pretty good pace and flow (in most parts) to it which made it a pleasure to read. Daniela’s character was really well written and I could tell the author had really thought about her. I could feel all of the emotions that she did and my heart broke for her a few times. I really did find myself rooting for her the whole way through. Nathan really was a lovely character, I could feel the protectiveness that he had towards Daniela and he really did want to help her. I loved the two of them together. The book does contain some sensitive issues but the author navigated them well and respectfully. I can definitely see that this author has potential and I am really looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

Betty Shreffler could write a book turds and rainbows and it would still be awesome because she wrote it. Claimed Royalty is no exception. It was hot and the story was so well written. I love the imaginary world she came up with and I love her characters. She has easily become one of my favorite authors. Her ability to tell stories is second to none. The lead is Fiora and she is a strong amazing woman who is an amazing leader. And Matheas who is a major stud. I loved it and can’t wait to read others 5 star rating!

WTF, God? I have found myself saying this many times throughout my life. I wanted to read this book to see how someone else handled this statement.
This is the first book I have read by this author and because I went in “blind” I wasn’t sure if it was a memoir or fiction. Either way, the lessons written about are valuable and thought provoking. Transition is hard and transitioning through life changing events is even harder. This book had a sense of self that I haven’t found in other stories.
It was a quick read yet held a great deal of depth to it.
I would recommend to everyone. I think these are basic life tenets in this story could be applied to any religion. Don’t freak out because of the title.

Vortex by Kimberly Packard grabbed me from the start and still hasn’t let go. If you want romance you will have a little. If you want a story that has multiple layers to it then I highly recommend this book.
Elaina was stupid for doing some of the things she did. I don’t think she realized what she was doing part of the time due to the memories taking over which was extremely dangerous in the middle of a tornado with other people around.
Seth is a really good guy who had one bad thing happen to him at the worse possible time. He’s trying to redeem himself and ends up chasing tornadoes in the middle of the Country.
I loved everything about Elaina’s dog, including his clever name. He would make me smile every time. There were some tears shed, moments of anger, sadness, fear and of course happiness. I don’t understand why people would put themselves in that kind of danger. My husband used to talk about wanting to go storm chasing and even though I would never stop him I wouldn’t encourage it either.
This book was worth every second I spent reading it.

Wow, wow, WOW!
I don’t know why I do this but usually I try to picture what the book is like when I read the book description – and I am usually somewhat close – but this one took me by the biggest surprise and I love it!
I am honestly itching to get my hands on the next book in this series!
Princess Fiora is a force to be reckoned with and she has a fire in her soul that I’ve yet to see in another character – ever!
I loved just about every character in this book – obviously some more than others but I could spend the next few weeks reading about them all, if given the chance.
This book was so engaging, refreshing and the storyline was amazing and new!

I have read all of the previous books and was so excited to read Noah (Hennessy) and Kady’s book. Before Noah was in jail, him and Kady were inseparable. All he could think about was getting out and finding his girl. They have loved each other, for what seems like forever. So when Noah gets released, and he can’t find Kady, he gets his “brothers” to help him. What he finds, doesn’t sit well with him. This author has done it again, but I’m so confused because every time I finish one of this series it becomes my favorite LOL
This storyline…WOW, it had me from page 1 and I had to slow myself down while reading because I never wanted it to end, which is normally the case when I read anything by this author.
Kady and Noah were simply perfection for me, it wasn’t all wine and roses and I actually loved all the speed bumps along the way, and I loved Noah’s determination after all he had been through, yet I also totally understood where Kady was and why.
I love this MC, and I love how every one of this series brings us back to everyone. Yes, you could probably read these as stand alones, although I couldn’t imagine doing that because its a storyline that just follows through so smoothly and you would be missing out on some serious goodness if you didn’t read them all.
I can’t wait for more, and I also can’t wait to read these all again, back to back, this author just has a way of forming her words and turning them into the most beautiful stories.

The story Lost in Love (The Miss Apple Pants series Book 2) by Charlotte Roth is a wonderfully humorous and romantic book. The story had me with a smile on my face, laughing out loud, and has moments that touched my heart. It is the second book in a series that includes an amazing character named Ella. She is a young woman who at a young age grew up quickly. She is funny, kind, and beautiful. You could also call her confused when it comes to the feelings in her heart. When her father announces a trip to Europe, she has a decision to make. Should she try to find her son’s father, Hans? Is she still in love with him? What decision will she make? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I enjoyed reading about many of the other characters. Some have a large part to play and have been brought forward from the first book. I love when an author does this as it feels like you are catching up with friends. Ella’s tale includes the feeling of family, life lessons, and finding out what you’re heart really wants. Ella is a character that I grew to care about in the first book and those feelings continued in this one. She is someone who deserves happiness and to feel loved. Inheritance is a novel by India Kells. This is my second novel by this author.
On the verge of getting kick out of her apartment and her business failing, Lani Mackay sees an opportunity to change her circumstances when her uncle passes away and leaves her a set of instructions to follow in order to get the inheritance he has left for her.
Because of her relationship with her Uncle, who didn’t believe in her career as an artist, she is reluctant to take anything. But money could change a lot for her. All she has to do is complete the tasks that are in a box.
Her first unofficial task is to contact a man named Max and convince him to help her. But who is this man? A chance meeting could change two souls who are finding their way.
I really enjoyed this novel. I loved Lani’s independence and her blue hair. I enjoyed learning more about Max and the mystery surrounding him.
This is a quick read but very well written. I wouldn’t mind getting more of their story.

Blades Edge written by Manda Mellett is book 10 in the Santa’s Devils MC Series. If you have followed this series you know it does not disappoint. Blades Edge is Blades story and it this a few spots for me he has had a rough upbringing and suffered in ways not many can understand. Then you add in one thing that he doesn’t want, a woman, she needs to trust him, she wants his trust in return. Only one problem, he doesn’t trust women. Ever. His rules are simple, one time only, no kissing and that’s it. No complications, easy right? It was until she came into the picture during a job they are on. But how will his story end… I loved this story, but I liked them all, Blades story hits a few new scenarios and you want to cry and punch him in the throat a few times throughout the story.
This series just keeps getting better and better! Little Do You Know is Book 5 in the Bayou Devils MC series by A.M. Myers. Noah “Hennesey” LeBlanc has been in love with Kady Sinclair since they were 11 years old. They had been planning on getting married and starting a family when Noah got sent to prison for 6 years. When Noah gets out, his only mission is to find Kady because she seems to be missing and continue where they left off 6 years prior. One problem though…Kady is nowhere to be found. However, leave it up to the MC to find her! When he finds her, Kady doesn’t want anything to do with him. There is a reason why she doesn’t want him but you will have to read this book to find out! LOL. The chemistry between the two of them is sizzling and way off the charts. They love to fight with each other, which is funny and super sexy at the same time! The sexy scenes are downright hot! But this book is an emotional rollercoaster, so break out the tissues and have them waiting for you! You can read this book as a standalone, however, like all series I suggest reading from book one. I absolutely adore this series and I cannot wait for the next one! This is a definite plus in my book and would not hesitate to recommend this series to anyone who likes books on Motorcycle Clubs or even just a good series!

5 Star His First Lady by Avery Scott is as fast paced story that once I started I couldn’t put it down until I finished. Kendall is a smart and beautiful woman who is good at her job.She doesn’t do relationships. She is very surprised when she is asked to play a part of a potential First Lady. Michael is handsome and single. His campaign manager believes that the playboy he acts like will not go over well. Michael is a man who has had two divorces would rather be single that is until he gets to know Kendall.These two definitely have a attraction to one another. Can Michael open his hear to Kendall? .I highly recommend reading this. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Broken Sand Dollar (The Sand Dollar Series Book 3) J D Boudreaux 5 out of 5 stars
I was first introduced to J.D Boudreaux’s writing when I stumbled across the beautiful cover art of Wish I Had a Nickel. At the time I had read that novel I had somehow missed it was the second in a series. While some aspects left me curious what I was missing, I was really captivated by J.D Boudreaux’s storytelling and loved the story regardless. That being said, since this is a series meant be read in order I highly recommend starting at the beginning for the full picture. I felt that Broken Sand Dollar was a fantastic ending to a unique storyline. I tend to feel that so many romances are typical and predictable, J.D Boudreaux crafted a series with heart warming characters, great twists, and raw emotion that felt new and refreshing to me. This is definitely an author I will keep a lookout for.

India Kells has written this fast read. While it is the full of sexual scenes, it also has feelings and a storyline. I feel this story is far more than just sex, it’s the struggle of being a submissive. I think this is well written and enough to keep you turning the pages. I also love the characters she has put in this story. They stand out and will be forever on my mind. This book is unforgettable. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Well Done India Kells!
