The Inheritance: The Story of an Unlikely Submissive is a short story by India Kells. Although short, this book packs a big punch. This is my new favorite book by Ms. Kells. If you like your reads Sizzling Hot, this is the book from you. Lani is a young woman who is a budding artist, who is trying to get her life together. Max is a recluse millionaire keeping himself save from the world. When they come together it is explosive and their chemistry is off the charts. I read this book in one sitting and loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book. Five Stars!

The “chapters” are only about 2 pages long so the story felt like it moved quickly The female protagonist had a name for her scooter She also has a strong voice when she learns to use it The story was well plotted I appreciated the information which the author provided at the end of the book
Like other stories in this series, the writing is incredibly detailed and at times it dragged for me. I did find myself skimming even though the “chapters” were very short. I have not been reading the series in order, and it feels as if this particular story drops in the middle of another. It made me feel a little lost at the beginning so I would recommend reading it in order.

The story Lights, Camera, Action (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 1) by Heather Silvio is a book that I loved reading. It includes the paranormal, suspense, and romance. It is a story that drew me in from the beginning and I found myself getting lost in its pages. I loved reading about the characters of Catherine Rodham and Alex Moore. Catherine has moved to Las Vegas to start up the West Coast chapter of the Peterson Talent Agency. She is someone who is confident, independent, strong, and beautiful. Alex Moore is an actor who is now represented by the Peterson Agency and Catherine. There is a strong attraction between these two. Catherine has a strong reaction to Alex each time she sees him. There is flirting and bantering. They soon also team up to try and solve the serial murders that are occurring in Vegas. Alex has found himself a target in the murder investigations. Can Catherine prove that Alex is innocent? How much danger is Catherine in? Is Alex telling the complete truth about himself? Will the killer be caught? Read this book to find out. This is a story that is engaging and fun to read. I loved the paranormal aspect and the romance that is beginning between Catherine and Alex. There are secondary characters introduced. There are some what I found to be friendly and helpful and others whose motives I questioned. Don’t miss out on a book that once you start you will not want to put down until you finish. I highly recommend reading it. This story is the first one in a series and I look forward to reading the next one.

I truly enjoyed reading this book it was a fun read.theres a little bit of everything in this Book from romance, murder,danger,secrets,and some discoveries. This is set in Las Vegas and anything is possible although it may not be what you want. Catherine has just moved to Las Vegas to run a Talent Agency in which she was promoted to. When her biggest client is accused of murder what will happen next? This is a must read .I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

The story Happily. Ever After?: An Italian Relationship. (The Italian Saga Book 6) by Gaia B. Amman is a book that I truly enjoyed reading. It is a story that brings out powerful emotions from the characters and had me not wanting to put the book down until I had finished the last page. It is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading it. I loved reading about the character of Leda. She is a young woman who is beautiful and smart. She has plans for her future. She also has an undeniable attraction to Sergio. Sergio is a man that is determined that Leda will be his and only his. Like a magnet, these two are drawn towards each other. Read this book to find out their story. This book has parts to it that I found sad and some that had me angry with how characters were treated. There are times when I could feel affection and love, while other times there was conflict. I grew to care about Leda and was always rooting for her to succeed in all that she does. There are other additional characters that you read about. I enjoyed reading about many of them and their interactions with Leda. This is a wonderful story to read and one that I would highly recommend.

Yearning Young is the second book in the Burning Britley series written by Deidre Huesmann and it’s the second book that I have read by this author. The characters were well written and the storyline was different with self-discovery and self-acceptance we also have strong friendships and families and also dysfunctional, chaotic families and friends. We met Jeff and Braeden in book two and this story is told from Braeden’s POV. Braeden is a good guy who is confused and trying to figure out who he is.
Braeden’s never had to question anything before. He’s always been popular, always had everything handed to him, and always been straight. Then he met Jeffrey Young. Quiet, studious, analytical a guy. Now he’s questioning everything. Like if he can handle his pill-abusing mother and ruthlessly enabling father much longer. If he’s protecting his siblings out of selfless motivations. If he belongs with Jeff, now his boyfriend. Jeff’s less-than-straight friends are skeptical of his sexuality as well, which isn’t assuaging any of Braeden’s fears. Lights, Camera, Action is the first book in the Paranormal Talent Agency Series by Heather Silvio. It is a delightfully fun paranormal mystery- a ‘who-dunnit’, with romance, murder, secrets, intrigue, danger, discoveries, and a good dose of the supernatural. This is my first read by Ms. Silvio, so not knowing what to really expect I let the cover and the blurb sway me. I was between books and unsure what I wanted to read next, so when this book/series showed up on my feed I grabbed them right away and jumped in. Although the story is a little predictable, that didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book. It is a really sweet story, with an original spin on the paranormal romance/mystery theme. And I think that it would make a fun television series, too. Catherine has just moved to Las Vegas to open a new branch for the Talent Agency that she works for. This is a promotion, so she feels a bit of pressure to get the business up and rolling and turn it into a success. News reports begin to appear about murders of young actresses, all under suspicious circumstances. When her top client becomes the number one suspect, Catherine decides to do a little digging of her own. The fact that Alex is incredibly attractive and has invaded her dreams, has nothing to do with her desire to find out the truth- does it? But what she uncovers is a whole lot more than she could ever have imagined, and as she and Alex spend more time together in their ‘investigation’, Catherine discovers a world she never even knew existed. But as the body count rises, so does the danger. Who can she trust? Will they get to the bottom of it all before the next victim is chosen? What happens when secrets are revealed? What happens if/when the killer sets his sights on Catherine? Can Alex save the day? The story isn’t too heavy or overly dramatic, but still managed to engage me with the mystery side of the story, as well as the sweet romance. It has a fast pace and flows really well. The story might be short in length, but there is nothing lacking about the content. I have already read the next two books in the series, Reset to One (Book #2) and That’s a Wrap (Book #3)…. Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Silvio does next!

The Billionaire and the Therapist by Kim Koby is the first book in the Clean Billionaire series. The book is an enjoyable read with a lovely story to it. If you want a book to help you shut off from the world and just sink into then this is definitely the book for you. It doesn’t require any thought or effort to become engaged with these characters, you just slip into the story. The author does well with the pace of the story, she keeps it flowing well and keeps on developing it overall. This is a great book that I could easily recommend for the quiet, lazy afternoon.

The story Flesh and Bone (Blood of Kaos Book 3) by Nesa Miller is a wonderful fantasy book that I loved reading. It is a story that hooked me from the beginning and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. It is a book that has action, adventure, mystery, and romance. There is wonderful and impressive world building. There are also amazing characters that are enjoyable to read about. One is missing and another has not been seen since leaving an Elven city. Will they be found? Each character has their own part to play in the story. There are those who represent family, friends, warriors, and are loyal/helpful. I had the feeling that some characters are more than they appear to be and then others that have their own evil agenda and would do anything to make their plans succeed. There is pain, loss, and sadness. There are times when the deep bonds/connection between characters are felt. Questions and suspicions will have you questioning motives. I couldn’t help but be swept up in the tale. I would highly recommend reading it.

An Improper Encounter (The Macalisters #3) by Erica Taylor 5 out of 5stars An Improper Encounter is the third book in the Macalisters series written by Erica Taylor And it’s the second book that I have read by this author and I loved the story. The plot was excellent and well written. The characters are strong and well written and I the loved the banter and quirkiness from them as well. We even see what the other characters from the first two books are up too. Lady Sarah Hartford has done her duty to her family. She is beautiful, wealthy, widowed, and bored. Her sister in law and herself are at a inn and after agreeing to a scandalous dare to seduce a stranger into her bedchamber, she meets the devilishly handsome doctor, William Gordon. Though both keep their true identities hidden, an intense romance blooms between them, and Sarah finally feels like she could be happy again. After they arrive in London, William promises to reunite with Sarah after dealing with his ailing father, the reason to which he was summoned to London. But three months pass, and Sarah begins to lose hope of ever seeing her lover again. A few months later he arrives on her doorstep, married, a duke, and with a pregnant duchess in tow. As the pair try to untangle truth from lies while keeping their history a secret from everyone around them, they realize they may never be together. He definitely doesn’t need a woman in his life — they are all liars anyway. When he is asked to investigate a disturbance behind a restaurant, he finds a woman rummaging through the trash. He quickly runs her off, but there is something about her that stays with him.
Tash is hiding. She made a mistake and fell for a man that wasn’t what he really pretended to be. Now her life may very well be in danger. Afraid to go home and get any of her belongings, she resorts to finding what she can. When she first runs into Blade, she knows he is all danger. But when circumstances have her depending on him and his club, she becomes more and more intrigued. Can Blade become something more to her? Can these men help her out of this situation?
I will admit, I am not a huge fan of the MC romance genre. I picked up an earlier book in this series just to see what it was all about. I loved it and this book was no exception. I am blown away at just how real the author makes these people. You really can’t help but love them all. And the story!! I was so engrossed in the suspense that was happening throughout the whole book. Not to mention the twists that are thrown in to surprise you along the way. Oh and there are plenty of hot and heavy action for the romance lovers.
If you like MC romance or just really well written books, I highly recommend this book and series.

I have to admit that I was drawn into this book and just couldn’t put it down. I really like how the author was able to build the story and I found the characters to be very realistic. The book really tied well with the first book of hers I read. I really like to see the changes in the secondary lead character Max Langdon.
I really was drawn to the chemistry between Lani and Max. I was eager to see how things would progress given his dominance. I also found myself routing for Lani and her art. I really felt myself going through the emotions with Lani as she knew Max had to find his own way. I just couldn’t put the book down and the pages just melted one into the other. I really look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Lights, Camera, Action (Paranormal Talent Agency, #1) by Heather Silvio is a paranormal/fantasy romance with a flair of drama/mystery interwoven into the story. This story was entertaining with an amazing array of characters including Catherine Rodham, an empath and talent agent, and Alex Moore, a charmingly handsome actor. Set in Las Vegas, the story leads into any thing truly is possible in sin city and it may not be what you would expect. The paranormal aspect within the story added a fun and interesting dynamic – everyone wants something and it’s determining what that is and at what cost. Definitely recommend any romance, mystery or paranormal lover should read this story/series. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Luke is the third book of the Mckade’s of Texas written by Kimberly Lewis and it’s the first book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and it pulled me into the story with ease and held my attention to the end.
All Karlie Jo wants is a life with Luke she want him to fall in love with her and have a happily ever after she has had a crush on him forever. Now Karlie Jo is back in town all grown up and she has plans for Luke.
Luke is shocked when he realizes that Karlie Jo isn’t a little girl anymore. What surprise’s him the most is the lust he feels when he sees her again. Karlie Jo comes up with a proposition he can’t refuse because he is really happy to oblige even if it’s temporarily.
Karlie is willing to play along, for now but her heart is set on forever. As raw desire sparks something deeper, can Karlie convince Luke that rules are meant to be broken? Or will their passionate summer fling end with broken hearts instead?

The Protector: MAC: A Cover Six Security Novel By Lisa B. Kamps Rated 4 stars
The beginning was crazy good and sucked me in to their story much quicker. That is a good jump start into the story. This is full of two characters who each want to be together but for reason unknown one of them has a “should I or shouldn’t I” going on in the brain. I really enjoyed Mac and TR for different reasons. Mac for being the strong alpha guy! Fully muscled with tatts and a strong desire. TR comes off as weak a time or two but she really ramps up her indignation when provoked. She is also stronger than she gives herself credit.
A bright spot in the book is Chaos. He is as alpha as the others but he has a smart mouth too. Which he proves multiple time when egging on Mac about TR. The back and forth bantering between Chaos and TR really helped make this a lot of fun to read. I loved the conversation in the car…so funny!
While reading I feel like I have missed a portion of their lives. There are many many many references to other events where the two MCs have met in the past. I think those would have been a great prequel or something. It would give more to the hot and cold between them. On a side note..I read at the end of the book that there is a prequel to this so I would suggest reading that first. Mostly to get more of a *feel* of the relationship of the two MC.
This is a good start to a new series. It’s full of fun, hot sexy times and dangers. Many interesting characters that could lead to many places. I look forward to the next and to see what chaos TR causes in the office with the boys.

I enjoyed this whodunnit story. This is a story about Catherine. She just moved to Vegas to run the talent agency she has been promoted too. What will happen when her biggest client is accused of murder? Now she questions who she can trust? She is a strong, determined character that makes the story for me. I enjoyed how creative this was and how it had me laughing and waiting to see what would happen next. Plus it has a paranormal twist to it that was great, recommend reading this book.
I enjoyed this fantasy/paranormal story from beginning to the last page. It is full of sit on the edge of your seat twists and turns with plenty of action. Dar, Etain and the rest of the characters bring the story to life for me. They are both good and bad but Etain is my favorite. They are all have their own unique personality. Problem is Dar and Etain are missing, they are the strongest warriors. Can Adamir defeat the biggest enemy without them? I recommend reading this book and find out.

The light at Dawn written by K.L. Montgomery is a very emotional read especially for me right now and this story has helped me process my thoughts and emotions about a tragic event that happened the day i started reading this book.
Angelia White has three children she is a stay at home mom who bakes cakes on the side. One day she looses her youngest son Evan. In the wake of this unspeakable tragedy her marriage crumbles as her life.
Even though five years had passed since she lost Evan, Angelia is still picking up the pieces. Getting involved in the cause, so she could pour her broken heart into was just another part of the healing process.
Mark and Angelia meet at a ralley and they are basically on opposite sides.
Everything Mark thought he knew and believed in was obliterated when he lost Ashleigh, along with his heart. His wounds are too fresh for Mark to keep his grip on reality. The only way he could pick up the pieces was to fight for a way to prevent any other parent from ever suffering such merciless pain.

I loved this book. It was a short read that i was able to read it in one setting and didn’t want to put it down. This story is about Lani. She is an artist, and like all artists, she is struggling to get by. She learns that she is going to lose her apartment and that just makes matters even worse. Lani learns that an uncle she hasn’t seen in years had put her in his will and left her an inheritance. There are conditions of the will and she has to go see her uncles friend Sam to complete some tasks. The chemistry between Sam and Lani is off the charts. I loved these two. Could this man be the thing she has been missing, or is she just after the inheritance? This story is a must read and i would recommend it to a friend.

Surviving Valencia is a roller coaster of a ride to say the very least. This wonderful book starts slow and methodical, switching between the backstory and the present. As I dove into the narrator’s story I was heartbroken, it was just so tragic and lonely. There are definitely some surprises along the way, and just when I thought I had it all figured out, wham, another twist. This was not a typical twist book for me, usually I can guess what is going to happen, but not here though, and I love that about this book. I felt as if I was watching a great mystery unfold and I couldn’t read fast enough. This book broke my heart and by the time I was finished I felt as though, just maybe it could be healed. It showed me that there is hope out there, if you can only survive the worse.

Lanier is a struggling artist who is not sure about her future. She has been notified that her Uncle has passed away and named her in his will. Now one could imagine getting a notice like that, but it is what she has to do to get the inheritance that is nothing like you would think. Lanier has to complete tasks in a box with Max to gain the inheritance. That is where the story became real interesting. Max is a friend of her uncle and he has a dark secret. Will Lani submit to her uncle’s wishes or will Lani walk away? Will Max be able to Lani to submit? You will have to read to find out.

The Inheritance: The Story Of An Unlikely Submissive is a fantastic, gripping novella by India Kells. Having read several book by this author in the last year, they are fast becoming a favourite of mine. This novella may be only 92 pages in length, but there is so much content packed into those 92 pages. When Lani Mackay’s uncle dies, he leaves a strange legacy for her. He leaves a box filled with instructions for her that only one man can open and also decide if she has fulfilled the instructions properly in order to received her £10 million inheritance. That man is Max Langdon. Ex dom. This is a gripping story of how Lani convinces Max to open the box and help her carry out the instructions. Little does she know that these instructions will lead her into the world of BDSM with Max. This story was gripping from the very first page and had me totally gripped until the very end. It was extremely hot and steamy. You may need to have a fan hand when reading the sex scenes. The story is also very emotional in places as Lani strives to break down the barriers that Max has put up around himself. I thoroughly recommend this book.

A great read about forgiveness. Alex has always done his utmost to help people and care for them,, but sometimes he takes on too much. Withdrawing from it all after the events of the previous books, Alex tries to look after himself. Whilst doing so, he discovers that he is enough, but can he fix the broken relationships of the past or is too late? A great read. Well developed plot. Well developed characters like Payton as funny but kind underneath or Leigh struggling with her feelings but still standing up for herself or Alex trying his best but still caring underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the supportive Lacey or the mother figure of Gigi loud and bubbly. This helped to create the sense of a family that sticks together and helps each other out which was a lovely touch. The only issue with this was that sometimes it felt like there were too many characters to keep track of and perhaps reducing this slightly would help the reader follow the narrative. I also liked Paytons story with her struggles with vision and life that were relatable and emotive and beautifully written. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel with the sense of home with the coast with its familiar sights and sea and sand and restaurants all welcoming to the characters for a sense of belonging. Or the garden and the little birds as one little corner of peace in their busy lives. The use of memories in the narrative worked well to display what happened to Payton with wonderful visual detail of the parks and the water and was easy to follow with the use of italics and didn’t distract from the narrative of the present. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

The story seemed nice. I liked the idea of her trying to keep the dream from her husband alive. This was slow moving and there is a lot of inner speculation. I enjoy reading a story with more dialogue and little less description and inner thoughts. I sadly spend some time skimming. We spent quite a bit of time getting to know Bijou. Her life, her family and her struggles. Wait…i don’t want to forget the tree… i liked that idea a lot. Not so much information on Noah. Unless he is in the other stories he was an enigma. I really struggled with how quickly the relationship of the two MC’s moved forward. It felt wrong to me. Maybe if he had showed up in the book sooner but he wasn’t a main fixture until she needed help. But then I guess that rules out the insta-love they shared. So maybe the timing was right.
Let’s talk kids. Claire was different. At times she was the annoying tween. Other times it’s like she was the adult. Even though Holder didn’t have many scenes..he was a cutie. The other secondaries were good but I felt Mara was over the top. Maybe if she was a single friend i could see her acting that way. Although at the end I loved what she did to the reporters.
So this is the fourth book in this series and it can be read as a stand alone. I have not read the previous stories and had no problem following the storyline. The story was good and had a nice idea behind it. I easily moved right through it.

Broken Sand Dollar is the third and final instalment in the Sand Dollar series by JD Boudreaux. These stories are always highly energetic and extremely busy. So much goes on and the author conveys so much and gives away so little, which keeps you riveted to each page. It is almost impossible to put down and easy to lose yourself in.
In this story, the characters from books one and two all come together to give a reader a stunning conclusion to the series. This book was romantic, emotional and totally captivating. The characters, while different, meshed together well and left wonderful memories of their journey. The tale grabs your attention and holds it captive until the last word. Never lacking in complexity and depth, it was a great way to pass a lazy weekend. I read in in one sitting because it was that good. Sad to be at the end of the series, but so happy to have got to experience the wonder that is the Sand dollar series. 5 stars.

What She Lost and Found is a story of a young woman who has lost and wants to live life to the fullest once again. It is written by M. L. Garcia. It was a beautiful and emotional story that was enthralling and remarkable.
Daniela suffers a loss that seems like there is no coming back from. Her best friend was more like a sister and her loss set on an unexpected and unwanted path. Her innocence is gone and she is left utterly broken. This tale outlines a person’s struggle to continue after great loss. It highlights how the human spirit, while bruised and broken, still crave the most normal things. Friendship, happiness and love. The secrets that follow her threaten to sabotage the life she is chasing, but she possesses an inner strength that ensures she will not succumb without a fight. Daniela has lost, but with courage, faith and a love for life will see her fulfill her deepest desires. A stunningly moving and gripping 5 stars read.

Broken Sand Dollar (The Sand Dollar Series Book 3) by JD Boudreaux is the final book in The Sand Dollar Series. It is a wonderful conclusion to the story of Alex and his life. It is a must that these books be read in order each book follow on and come together nicely. It is a journey of fate, faith and being and finally finding yourself. The first two books were enjoyable but JD did well in this book to tie everything up nicely but it also felt like the story had matured much like the characters. It is an emotional read but it also brings much happiness. I loved the stupid phrases the main characters sprouted at each other that had me laughing out loud.
Alex has always been a giver a fixer but not so much for himself. The women in his life leaving him in one way or another. After his last turn at love goes wrong, he packs up and returns to the one place that he feels at home, and what he finds when he finally stops is the one thing he never thought he would have. But he also learns how far back everything in his life has lead to where he is now.

Another wonderful installment following our beloved Ella. Smart and funny, the cast of characters continued to grasp my heartstrings with witty dialogue and fast paced story development. From beginning to end, I found myself deliciously enraptured, just waiting to find out what would happen next. If you enjoy witty female leads, and unexpected love found, this is a book you must pick up.

One of my favorite stories was Flirty Dancing. The author brought the story to life, it has humor and steam. Kitty finds herself in The Green Room after falling and smashing her head. But you will have to read this to find out what The Green Room is but you won’t regret picking up this anthology, a must read!
