A retelling of Camelot but Morgan is the heir. The story has witches, fae, and dragons. It is a really cute story. It was detailed and progressed fairly quickly. I think it could have been longer if time was skipped at certain spots. It seemed to be written with mostly the intense scenes there and a lot of the slower parts or story filler parts left out. It was non-spicy but did have some adult language.

So Malice is newly patched into The Demented Souls and after serving in the army he needs a little peace and quiet so the ranch seems to be ideal , he’s in town grabbing a bite to eat when he sees a woman in quite the predicament, her ex is trying to kidnap her and lucky for her Malice is around to intervene , Patrick, the ex clearly doesn’t understand when to leave well enough alone 😡
Bonnie needs to get off the grid for a bit and the ranch seems to be the ideal place and at least Malice can keep and eye ( his hands and mouth ) on her 😉
I know these bikers have a bad rep but one thing is they’re protective and what you see is what you get , a true brotherhood . Bonnie is one very lucky lady 🥰

Emily Bybee delivers a gripping thriller that I really enjoyed.

Her only friend in digging down to the truth is her brother’s friend, Caleb.
The stakes are high and her odds to figure it out are low, but Harper is determined to get to the truth.
This is a very cute, highly detailed illustrated children’s guide to feeding pets safe treats. Not only that but it even give you recipe upon recipe to make for your pets. It is a wonderful guide and learning tool for any child with a dog. My daughter LOVES this series.

This is book four in the Predator Series. And how sad does this story start!! Death of a loved one just plain sucks. New characters are introduced who pull me right into their world.
I loved this story, even with the underlying sadness. Hope is a good thing. Second chances are amazing. This story can be read without reading the first three, but it helps connect the characters later into the story.
The writing in this story is good. I enjoyed this book and the series. Looking forward to reading May’s other series.

The 4th book in The Predator Series and the second read for me in this series. By far my favorite yet. Bijou and Noah have both lost their spouses and have been alone raising a child for at least a year (Noah). Will meeting and learning about each other, helping one another with difficulties, and just growing together as friends, and companions lead to more in the future? This book was very hard to put down and finishing it was a breeze. I absolutely loved the characters, especially Mara the quirky best friend of Bijou. This is one of my most favorite reads of this year so far. The highs and lows, the laughs, tears, frustration, you feel it all.

El Diablo is Book #2 in the Southwest Suspense series by Kathryn Dodson. It is set a couple of years after the events in Book #1 and even though you could read it as a standalone, I highly recommend reading ‘Tequila Midnight’, as not only is it a great little thriller, but it also provides a lot of character background, details, development, and other important information which will help you to fully appreciate this instalment. Ms. Dodson has written quite a few books now, and I have enjoyed them all- but I have to admit that these Jessica Watts, and the Southwest Suspense novels are my favourite. There is just something about Jessica that draws me in. She’s tough, yet vulnerable, independent, and even a little ruthless at times. She can be forceful, sassy, brave, resilient, and stubborn. And she’s had quite a ‘colourful’ past awash with dark bars, intimate encounters, and liberal amounts of alcohol – tequila being her preferred poison. But she’s also awash with doubts and insecurities- especially since she has ‘turned over a new leaf’, so to speak. But underneath all her quirks and flaws, she’s fiercely loyal to her friends and ‘found’ family, and has a burning desire for justice, to help people in need. This desire has led to many dangerous situations, especially since she has a tendency to act first and ask questions later. She is having trouble accepting some of the ‘changes’ she’s had to make, and craves some of the excitement that her ‘wild’ days provided. She has been through a lot, but through it all her ‘gut’ instincts have held her in good stead. Which is exactly how she finds herself pitted against a twisted psychopath, because her gut tells her that the godly man is actually a monster in disguise, who has a sinister plot that involved preying on teenage girls. Also, I adore the cover of this book!!! Just gorgeous. Along with Book #1, I would love poster-sized versions to hang on my office/library wall so I could gaze at them all the time. I enjoyed Lucy’s mama and her antics because I understood where she was coming from as a mother. I would absolutely reccecomend this book to others. I picked it up at random due to its back jacket ; I can definitely say I was not disappointed. This novel is an intense adventure that uncovers a conspiracy with far-reaching fingers and deadly consequences. The trail leads from a greedy corporation right into the heart of Washington. I enjoyed the female lead character being a hacker and would have liked to see more of that. The art stuff was cool because I knew what the author was talking about. I liked the layers to the story.
I didn’t know what to expect with this book but I was pleasantly surprised. It draws you in and keeps you guessing until the very end. The tension between the two main characters is palpable but it’s great to watch them develop a relationship and began to trust each other. You will definitely not be disappointed in this one. It has a perfect blend of reality, action, and romance.

I love Oscar and Emmy series. In this book, Oscar and Emmy visit the vet, it is all about caring for pets and how to keep them healthy. It covers the topics on what to expect in a vet clinic and the procedures which the vet follows with the pets, their vaccinations, dental care etc. It has a lot of useful information, the story is simple, easy to follow and is complemented by a lot of colorful pictures. Highly recommend to all the children who have pets or planning to get a pet in their household.

My kids and I have read a few books by this author before, so we were excited to see another one come out! Even though both of my kiddos are a little above the target audience, we all still enjoyed the story immensely. There are such colorful and eye-catching illustrations inside which definitely add a bit more to the story. Joe starts his morning spelling his name with alphabet cereal and my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever! Now they definitely want alphabet cereal. Joe is excited to go to school and learn how to read. Will he get the chance to learn on his first day? Both my kids were shocked that Joe was just walking around town by himself. Thank goodness for Bea! I highly recommend adding this to your library at home, at daycare, or at school. This is a wonderful read for young kiddos!

My kids and I absolutely adore the Porter and Midge series because with each one we find another way to connect with our furry friends. This one has become our favorite that we have found in the series because we’re a family of bakers! The story is pretty short which kept the attention of my 8-year-old. We spent a ton of time together baking treats for not only our furr-mily but for the entire neighborhood (with their human’s permission, of course). There are so many recipes inside and a little note at the end with a few guidelines to explain why we use the ingredients we do for canines. I highly recommend this for you to share with family and friends! It will surely bring some fun and love into the household with your pups having happy tummies!

I have read a couple of other books by this author that I absolutely fell in love with, so I knew I was picking this one up as soon as I came across it. They are one of the few authors that I don’t even hesitate on because their ability to expertly craft an intriguing, captivating story is absolutely astounding! I dove into this book without thinking and ended up devouring it in one day and ignoring a whole lot of chores and responsibilities. There is no lull, no stopping point, so I hope you have a few hours set aside for reading the entire thing at once! Ebony is a halfsoul who hires Lark, a searcher, to find her soulsister. It sounds endearing, but in this realm, halfsouls battle to the death where the winner becomes a full soul. I always love when a story is told from multiple points of view as it allows me to get a feel for each character a little better. Even if this doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, I highly recommend picking it up because it is one of the most engrossing reads I have come across this year. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next as I am eagerly awaiting!

Malice is part of the Demented Souls Series and is a Contemporary Romance/MC Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. This is a fairly new author to me and it seems I started in the middle of the series so I’m gonna go back and read what books I’ve missed. This is Bonnie and Malice story. He’s been recently patched in and she’s recently broken up with her ex who doesn’t seem to take no for an answer. Can Bonnie learn to trust again? Can Malice protect her from her ex? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author and this series.
This is a fun book and one that you’ll want to share with your kids. It’s an interactive book, having both a story and then recipes to make treats for your favorite doggo!
Grab this book and then plan a time with the kiddos to read the short story and then incorporate cooking skills to make some treats! A great bit of educational fun for all!

This is a beautiful alphabet book. I love that it uses new and different words for each letter. The pictures for each letter and word are full of color and whimsy. I love it when you pick up a book by a new-to-you author and feel like you’ve struck gold! That’s exactly how I felt once I began reading Falling Down. This is the first book in the ROCKSTAR series and what an amazing start it has been! I thought the cover looked pretty cute, but once I read the synopsis I knew I had to give it a whirl. The author’s disclaimer had me pulling the book open in no time at all. Lucy and Jesse have a chemistry that rivals some of the best I’ve read, so experiencing their attraction within these pages was steamy! The spicy romance is written well and only adds to the story, it doesn’t carry the plot. I really enjoyed all of the characters and felt rather close to them quite quickly. If you enjoy a steamy rockstar romance, do yourself a favor and start this series off with a bang! I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store because I am all in!

Let me start by saying that I normally do not like the dystopian genre. Most of the time it is the same thing with just a little bit of difference to call it something else. I tend to stay away from it because of this. I have read a couple of other books from this author and decided to give this book a try regardless of the genre. I am happy I did. This book is like no other dystopian book I have read before and I am all for it. The premise is so different from anything I have ever read. I was hooked from page one.
Ebony is a half soul who is dying of cancer in a world where halflings are treated poorly just because they are missing part of their soul. There are rules and regulations set in place to try to prevent more halflings and the rumoured nosouls. One of the rules being you can only procreate with your soulmate. You need to both be fullsouls to give your child a chance. Ebony wants to find her soul sibling and sacrifice herself to give this woman a chance at a good life but when she meets Lark, she starts questioning everything.
Lark makes his living finding the soul siblings of halflings so they have a chance of becoming whole. Growing up a halfling orphan, he has a soft spot for the lesser beings. When Ebony walks in and wants to hire Lark to find her soul sibling, he discovers that they are soulmates which should be impossible to determine since she only has half of her soul. Lark will stop at nothing to find Ebony’s soul sibling to give him a chance of a life he gave up on. One with his soulmate.
They embark on the journey together, both with the same mission but with totally different outcomes set in mind.

Melissa Steven’s is a new-to-me author, but I love a good Motorcycle Club romance, so I grabbed Malice. I didn’t realize it was book 10 so I was late to the game, but each of the books in this series are stand alone stories about each member of The Demented Souls MC. Malice, recently released from the Army, working on a ranch, enters a diner and finds Bonnie being harassed by a guy, who happens to be her ex, but will not take no for an answer. He gives her his number in case anything else were to happen and she ends up hiding out at the ranch. Proximity of course makes them realize there is something sparking between them, but can Bonnie ever really trust a man again? Malice had your typical motorcycle club action, nail biting danger, intrigue, and of course romance/spice. I can definitely see myself going back to Book 1 to see what the rest of The Demented Souls MC is all about.
It is time for the cats Oscar and Emmy to go to the Vets office for their check up. Their human family learns why Oscar and Emmy need to visit the vet regularly, like the family takes care of their own health. The author writes helpful tips for keeping pets safe and healthy so that kids can understand what a vet visit includes. The illustrations are beautiful and added tips on how the kids can help caring for pets are wonderful.

I am a big fan of dystopian stories and on top of that a romance novel, I definitely wanted to give this read a try! In this alternate world, souls are what holds value to its individuals in their society. Those with full souls are prosperous in quality of life and riches with limitless possibilities. There are also halfings that possess half a soul and are very limited in opportunity to personally thrive and survive as well as not having a full soul in finding a mate nor conceiving their own offspring. Those without a soul are known to be pale, sharp teeth and vacant eyes. Story centers on Lark, who is a full soul searcher who helps halflings to soul battle in pursuit of becoming full souls and Ebony, a halfling who is trying to keep up with her own demeaning life. When a spark occurs between Lark and Ebony, they start building a connection in which they didn’t think was possible then other circumstances provide their connection even deeper than what they thought. There is so much action throughout the novel. Details can be confusing as you begin to piece parts together of their world but it is worth reading through.
