This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Blood Prince is a fantastic read. I absolutely loved every minute of the book. Leo is the only one I chose a quote for because it seems hes the main character in this book.

Rivals: An Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite #7) by Amy McKinley
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. So far every single book is amazing in its own way. This book tops them all though. This is the seventh book in the Mafia Elite Series. I really can’t choose my favorite book.
Mia comes from a different side of the mafia. She isn’t sure where to fit in only to find her love in the La Rosa family. She finds that her father isn’t really her father. The quote I chose for Mia is: “I’ve only been here, Chicago, and Grand Cayman. I’m not sure where I would want to go. Maybe Italy? It’s hard to believe I’ve never been there, being Mafia and all.”
Nico was engaged and then stuff happened. Now he’s trying to figure out where to go from here. He meets Mia and knows that he’s got to have her. Then stuff went down and now they’re putting their lives on hold. The quote I chose for Nico is: “My sister urged me to purchase property here even if I wasn’t ready to build. That’s ours. We can build a house whenever you want.”
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. I couldn’t put this book down and had a hard time with it ending. You will love Thief if you love an enemy to lovers books. This one will leave you hanging by a thread.
Leah is a celebrity and came from nothing. She shops, but she always checks her receipts. Losing her wallet turns out isn’t that bad as now she’s stuck with the thief who stole her car. Dominik is good at his job selling cars and stealing them. So imagine his surprise when the exact car he’s looking for parks next him at a store. He’s never been caught until Leah. THE COOL THING: A DARK COMEDY. OR NOT. by Robert Rife
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Cool Thing is a book that will leave you confused, but it’s an interesting read. It will leave you wanting more from the author.
There were several characters in the story and I really couldn’t choose one to talk about. You’ve got Carl; who is hoping for a break in life, Manny; who runs the shop Carl goes to all the time and he likes hiding away from his wife, and R.L.; who lives next door to a black woman who’s church just inherited a haunted house and is dating a teenager. I couldn’t choose a quote for any of them.

Fairly Royal: A Slow-burn, Scottish, Billionaire, Steamy Romance by Grace Grahme
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. This book was fantastic and I had a hard time putting it down. Phillip and Anna will leave you wanting more of their story.
Phillip is an Earl and doesn’t like how the tabloids destroy him. He goes to Anna in hopes for a fake romance not granting she’d agree. When she does agree he realizes that the fake romance is turning into a real one. Will he be able to pull his head out of his butt to figure out he’s got a good thing going. The quote I chose for Phillip is: “You’ll stand out no matter what. Don’t worry about impressing them. Many won’t understand your drive and determination. That you aren’t content to live life to the expectations of the Posh . You are different, and if they can’t appreciate that, it is their loss.”
Anna has had a crush on Phillip for ten years. He went to college with her brother and she knows he’s off limits. That’s until he asks her to go out with him as his fake girlfriend. She doesn’t want to be in the pish posh but for Phillip she’d do anything. The quote I chose for Anna is: “You were willing to help more than a few times. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Stitch by Stitch was a great read. The characters are relatable and you’ll have a hard time putting it down.

This is another fantastic read by the author. This is the first book in a new series. Ritual Obsession is a fantastic read and I can’t wait for more. This is the first book in the Blood Obsession Series.
Bobbi is new to the team and has to make an impression on her partner. She impresses her so now she should be good. Right? Well not really. Now there’s someone out there killing girls that look like her. The quote I chose for Bobbi is: “I also bet there are a lot of things I have to learn. I’m looking forward to new experiences.”
Max is a police vet and has been with the station for 15 years. He notices Bobbi on her first day and can’t seem to get her off his mind. The problem is there is now someone killing girls. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Blood Sector is a fantastic read. It had me hooked from the beginning. I had a hard time putting it down. This is the first book in the V-Clan Series, but can be read as a standalone.
Kieran is Alpha Prince and is shocked when Omega Princess Quinn shows up on his territory. After playing her game of hide and seek he’s ready to claim his mate. Only problem is that something isn’t right with her. The quote I chose for Kieran is :“Hello, Quinnlynn. This game of hide-and-seek is growing tiresome, don’t you think?”
Quinnlynn or Quinn is the Omega Princess of Blood Sector and in order to keep herself safe she makes a deal. Only she doesn’t plan on sticking around to fulfil her side of the deal. Misfortune of Vision: Druid’s Brooch Series #4 Christy Nicholas 4 out of 5
First and foremost, I absolutely love the cover of this novel. While it’s much like those in the rest of the series the colors to me, are gorgeous. Moving on, I’ve come to expect rich, vivid storytelling from Christy Nicholas. Typically my genre of choice is a thriller of some sort so the Druid’s Brooch series is a testament to how addictive great writing can be. While these books don’t need to be read in order (I actually bounce from book to book) I have been invested in seeing if the next book really does beat the one before it. If you are interested in historical writing and a mix with fantasy I would recommend giving this book a go.

Not my first read by the author. Remember to Forget Me is a fantastic read. The author does amazing things with her books and I always look forward to more. This is the first book in the Too Lost to Love Series.
Addison is now living in L.A. and loving life. She watches her high school love do his thing from afar. When they run into each other it starts up a romance that he doesn’t remember. The quote I chose for Addie is: “Everyone I loved was taken away from me. You have the uncanny ability to hit my hot-button questions, Wesley Harper.”
Wesley is a musician and loved what he did. He doesn’t remember the first half of his sophomore year and he doesn’t remember Addie. Murder Most Pemberley (Eliza Darcy Mysteries #1) by Jessica Berg
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. It won’t be my last though. Murder Most Pemberley is a great read. We see Darcy-Bennett clans and its amazing. This is the first book in the Eliza Darcy Mysteries.
Heath gets the surprise of a lifetime when he runs into a raven haired beauty at the airport. Then she’s seated next to him on the flight. Imagine his surprise when he sees her at his ex’s house. He joins Eliza on her journey to figure out what is going on with her family. The quote I chose for Heath is: “My dear Eliza, that was the third happiest surprise. And to keep the record straight, this English boy bloody does know when and, might I add, how to kiss a girl.”
Eliza goes to England for a family reunion. One with family members she didn’t know existed. She is surprised to find her flight companion at her family reunion. Not my first read by the author. Won’t be my last either. The Antipodes Series just keeps getting better and better. Ouroboros is the third book in the series and a great read.

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Watcher is a fantastic retelling of Romeo and Juliet. I read Romeo and Juliet in school and it was okay, but this is better. It is M/M so if you don’t like that this isn’t for you. This is the first book in the Star-Crossed Celestials Series.
Cyrus is a Messenger and is sent to Vegas to keep peace between Watchers, Demons and his kind. Then he meets a Watcher and finds himself falling in love. He’s the Juliet in this story and it shows. Can they make it work? The quote I chose for Cyrus is: “And why do I have the feeling that’s a lie in itself?”
Jace is a Watcher and is trying to keep a low profile. His sister and her boyfriend who just happens to be Jace’s best friend. They go to Nova to find a man for Jace to sleep with although it’s not the man Jace was looking for. The quote I chose for Jace is: “I told you that you were perfect.”

Scandalously Yours (Titans Of Manhattan #5) by Anise Storm
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Titans of Manhattan Series is an amazing series. Each book is getting better. We get to hear each Titans story. Kristopher and Alessia is this book and you might remember Alessia from earlier in the series.
Alessia isn’t new to the Titans world. She thought she got away from all that after her past, but that doesn’t seem to be the path she is taking. Alessia is starting a new job and guess who she’ll be working with Kristopher. The quote I chose for Alessia is: “Right now, you seem to be quite the gentleman. They say first impressions are everything, and I’m just sorry I haven’t made a better one on you. I—”
Kristopher doesn’t always seek out women, but he can’t help it when it comes to Alessia. Going through a nasty divorce is one thing, but it’s different when it involves kids. Now he’s working for the promotion of a lifetime. Can he get it all or will he lose it all? This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. The Liminal Space is the second book in the Antipodes Series. The author knows how to create a world where the readers can get lost in. This book is amazing and I really think you’ll enjoy it.
Cam is back with the people he’s missed dearly. He and his girl are expecting their first child together. He’s not sure how to handle that and wishes his parents were there. The quote I chose for Cam is: “I thought it was odd too. But if it houses an antipodal point, and it evidently does, then it makes sense, doesn’t it?”

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. The Secret Cure is a fantastic book. It had me hanging on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. A love triangle that may turn bad.
Rosalie is no longer able to move. Something happened and now she can’t move or speak. Then a miracle happens. She can move. She can also speak. Now it’s a secret from her husband. The quote I chose for Rosie is: “He’s having an affair.”

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. This Time Around is a fast read and you will absolutely love it. The author sure knows how to capture the attention of the reader’s. I was sucked into the book and had a hard time putting it down.
Katie is going home for a friend’s wedding. When she gets there her friend demands that she has a plus one. Then an emergency happens and she decides that her job isn’t worth it. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Saved by Love is an amazing read. It shows that all humans aren’t perfect. Some of us have mental health issues that we don’t talk about. This book shows that athletes also deal with mental health issues and that isn’t talked about very often.
Callie hasn’t had the best childhood, but her sister gave her the best she could. Losing her mother at a young age due to a horrible thing, her sister ends up with it as well. Then she meets Evan. Can the two of them get their happily ever after? The quote I chose for Callie is: “What dickbags? I don’t even know their names. I don’t even want to know their names. I wouldn’t recognize them in the crowd. All I see is youuuuu…”
Evan has stepped away from Hockey. Not any Hockey the NHL. He’s taking care of himself and not playing is part of the new journey he’s on. This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Love in the Roses is a good book. It’s the first book in the Love Through The Ages Series. The author captured my attention from the beginning to the end.
Isabel is at the age where she can be married off. Her father is looking for a good suitor. Her father is a Knight so hopefully he won’t choose a bad guy. Will Isabel be able to do this? This is another fantastic read by the author. Princess of Prias is a great book. I had a hard time putting it down when I started it. L and her Royal Guard protector had me hooked and I’m sure you’ll love it just as much.
L was born on Earth, but she is a Princess of another planet. She has no clue what is going on so imagine her surprise when a guy shows up and tells her that she needs to go with him. When she finds out all she needs to know and finds herself falling for Locan. The quote I chose for L is: “Good, because I have a lot of work to do and I am hoping I can find a good man to be my King.”
Locan is a Royal Guard Member and his task is to save as many of his people as he can. When he finds the Princess on Earth he knows he can’t leave without her. Locan is also a Warrior and doesn’t exactly trust his other half. The quote I chose for Locan is: “How about a strong man who makes plenty of mistakes but loves you endlessly?”

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Paige and the Reluctant Artist is a fantastic read. I loved how Paige was taken with Mark right from the beginning. Storm Cloud also helped and made my love for horses deeper.
Paige is an art curator and loves her job. Life hasn’t always been so kind, but she made it to the top. Seeing a painting she wants to get to know the artist behind it. When she does meet the artist she becomes completely attracted to him. Will she get her happily ever after? The quote I chose for Paige is: “I just became lost, spinning in circles, completely unraveling, until I met Mark. He doesn’t see my career, or my designer clothes, or my oh-so-chic uptown apartment. He sees me. The me that’s been buried inside, the me that somehow convinced myself that my worth was in what I did, what I wore, where I lived, instead of the me that could care less about all of it. The me that would willingly live under a bridge with the most incredible man in the world and still know that I hit the jackpot. He opened his heart, left himself vulnerable, for me. Mark loves to paint in his downtime and he loves to rescue horses. Storm Cloud being the first and many to follow after. Storm Cloud is also what led Paige to him. Well, a painting of Storm Cloud. Mark has to overcome some challenges, but will he be able to do it? The quote I chose for Mark is: “I love you, Paige. I think I fell in love with you that first day we met. I don’t know if it was when your shoe got stuck in the mud, or when I heard you curse like a sailor under your breath or the moment I first looked into your incredible eyes and in their depths, recognized a friend. Let It Be Love: A Mustang Prairie Romance by N.D. Jackson
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Let It Be Love is the first book in the Mustang Prairie Series, but it won’t be my last. I’ll definitely be looking for the rest of them. This story had me hooked. It’s the fifth book in A Mustang Prairie Series.
Kiki is a mega poster and is secretly seeing the mayor of a small town. She knows he wants his privacy and doesn’t want to push that on him. She passes out on stage and he rushes to her side. The quote I chose for Kiki is: “I feel really good about it. I wasn’t sure that this was the right path for me, no matter how much I wanted it to be and tonight proved that I could do it. It proved to me that Louie was wrong and only tore me down because he didn’t want things to change. I have to thank you Sadie for encouraging me to do things in a different way. If I hadn’t met you and heard your voice I never would have believed this was possible for me.”
Eric is Mayor of Mustang Prairie and dating mega pop star Kiki. He’d do anything for her including driving through the night to be by her side. Little did he know what he was getting himself into.
