Be Brave with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 1) by CA Miconi – Review by Anantha Rusum

Be Brave With Me (Finding Love In Green Springs Book 1)Be Brave With Me by J.B. Havens
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Be Brave with me is a romance story set in a small town of Green springs. Meg has had a tragic incident and is on a road trip to let go of the demons of her past. Drew lives in Green springs for a living, he has lost a leg in an accident and is also mourning a loss of a loved one.
When they both meet, sparks fly, they are attracted to each other. But Meg cannot let go of her grief so easily despite Drew time and again comforting her to be brave with him. She still wants to continue her road journey to reminisce her past. Both of them have to fight their internal battles to let go and start their lives afresh.
It is an enjoyable novel and I really liked the small-town details, especially how the people in the small town are so friendly and caring towards each other, the small restaurants which serve delicious food, the bar, the repair shop and the shops. Everyone goes about in good spirits and help each other which pulls up the spirits of the reader.
It is a good book, but I felt there were too few characters in the novel. More characters and more interaction in the small town would have made the story a lot more interesting. It has a very good storyline but certain twists and turns would have made the plot a lot more promising.
It is a breezy quick read. If you are looking for a light romance book, this book is for you.

by J.B. Havens and C.A. Miconi

4 out of 5 stars
Be Brave with me is the first book in Finding Love in Green Springs written by J.B. Havens and C.A. Miconi. This is an emotional and second chance story that brought me to a few tears. The main characters Meg and Drew are both emotionally unstable that can’t move past their past they just keep reliving the past. The characters are well written and the plot is awesome even if the plot was depressing and emotional.
Will Meg and Drew move forward in their lives? Or will they live in the past and miss out on life? Can these two help each other and move forward with their lives? Will they get a happily ever after or will they be miserable for the rest of their lives?
I recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen – Review by Naomi McDonald

Humiliating RevengeHumiliating Revenge by T. Christensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It took me a few chapters to get into this book, but once I did, it hooked me. The one thing that could have been different is that, while I love a good sex scene, the ones in this book seemed to go on for too long. Or, maybe it was just the timing or the way they are written that throws you out of the moment. I think this particular story could have carried itself without the extended physical interaction.

The characters and the plot are great. You get emotionally invested in the push and pull between Olivia and Calum as they start unraveling the past. The villain character is disturbing and is part of what truly makes this story so intense.

Overall, good read.

Not So Far (Love Grows Series Book 3) by Renee Regent – Review by Katie Matthews

Not So Far (Love Grows series, Book 3)Not So Far by Renee Regent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Not So Far is the third book in the Love Grows series and again as with the first two I really enjoyed it. I find Ms Regent’s books so easy to read; they are always enjoyable and have great characters. I really loved Silas and Audrey – I really felt the connection that they had with each other. Audrey was strong and independent and after what happened in the past with Silas I knew she would struggle to build a connection with him again now he is back in her life. I did love reading about their relationship, the high and the lows. They were both really likeable characters and I was rooting for them the whole way through!
I 100% recommend this story and I look forward to more from Ms Regent again in the future!

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen – Review by Melissa Agena

Humiliating RevengeHumiliating Revenge by T. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH MY GOD! What an amazing book! Humiliating Revenge is written by, T. Christensen. This is such a great story of rekindled love. Olivia is the Mayor’s daughter and lives by a severe set of rules. Calum has such a great heart but doesn’t come from the right kind of breeding. These two met in high school and after a very public and very humiliating break up, Calum HATES her for what he thought she is, which is a spoiled rich B*****! Olivia basically lives a nightmare that she believes will never end. That is until five years later when these to meet up again. Now, Calum who has achieved fame and success wants to humiliate her like she did him so many years ago. However, that completely back fires and the real truth comes out. This was an amazing story with so many twists and turns and all you want to do is keep on reading! The steamy sexy scenes are fire hot! And of course, the happily ever after makes you warm and fuzzy inside. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone! It’s going to be one of my go to books when I want to read something that most hated character becomes one of your favorites and where a true love occurs. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Series Book 3) by Victoria Grant was a cute and sexy read. I instantly fell in love with the Calderone Family! The main focus in this book is Caroline and Charles, from the first interaction you could sense the steam. I definitely rolled my eyes at Carolines stubbornness, but still loved her. The story was well paced and I loved the journey that I got to take. It was a romantic, funny, and steamy read!

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen – Review by Michelle Austin

Humiliating RevengeHumiliating Revenge by T. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Humiliating Revenge by T. Christensen was a great 5 star read.

We start with Olivia sneaking away to go see an MMA fight. He doesn’t know she is there, seeing him brings back so many memories for her. After the fight she heads to work. Little did she know that things were going to quickly change for her.

Calum is someone from her past that she had to push away to keep him safe, in doing so she caused him to hate her. He has now made it as an MMA fighter and is doing very well for himself. When Olivia comes face-to-face with him at the bar she interns and works at, she can see the hatred in his eyes. He is absolutely cruel to her.

Calum can’t resist the pull and he decides he needs to talk to Olivia. You can feel the attraction between them coming off the pages. We get some steamy moments between them. Olivia tries to keep him at arms length but he refuses to let her. There is something going on with her and Calum’s protectiveness is kicking in. What will happen when Olivia’s secrets come out?

Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.

Overall this was a great read. My heart broke for Olivia and what she had endured at the hands of her father. We get some twists and turns that will pull you right in. The secondary characters were great as well. I really loved this couple and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Humiliating RevengeHumiliating Revenge by T. Christensen
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a great love story. Humiliating Revenge by T.Christensen, is not a story for the under 18 crowd. More hot and steamy than I care for but you may be a little different. It doesn’t start out as a love story, almost a hate story, but there’s always the back story. Always a little more going on than you see on the surface. Liv and Calum have great chemistry, but they are both so good at cutting their own throats. These two don’t need enemies they are their own worst enemy. One has too much pride and the other carries too much shame. The characters are great, and the background that the author uses with Mixed Martial Arts makes for quite an interesting and creative tale.

Perfect
Tricia Copeland
3 out of 5 stars

I have read and loved books by Tricia Copeland in the past so I didn’t hesitate to give Perfect a try. Overall, it was a fun, easy to read, clean romance that read very quickly.
At times I felt confused about how much time had lapsed within the pages, especially within the first half of the book. I enjoyed the growth we experience with Chloe through the several years the book takes place and the progressions each of her relationships take. There were times I had to remember myself that Chloe’s story spans several years and the decisions and experiences she has didn’t happen close together. While I did enjoy Chloe as a main character, my favorite character in the book was Isaac and I loved the dynamic between him and Chloe.
Overall, this was an entertaining read and I would read more by Tricia Copeland in the future.

Perfect by Tricia Copeland is a unique and interesting contemporary romance story that is easy to read and is well written. It is a little different to the usual romance stories and I think that is that uniqueness that draws you in as it twists the norms of a classic romance. It is also a fun read as we journey along with our main character as she delves into relationships and growth as a young woman towards maturing and adulthood. There is a lot to keep you entertained with fun and laughter, emotions and sweet romance.

Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Book 3) by Victoria Grant is a smart and sassy contemporary romance. It is also a comedy that kept a smile on my face and bursting out laughing at times. It is funny and witty, full of banter and antics but also has drama. Victoria made the characters realistic but sometimes I just wanted to shake Caroline and tell her to pull her head in but Charles was her saving grace. It is well written and will certainly cause you warm and fuzzies. Although this book is the third in the series I managed to pick up the story and run with it but I will be going back to read the first two.

Perfect by Tricia Copeland was a different kind of book then I am used to. It was kind of weird reading about her with different men and then the story ends. I wasn’t really expecting that even though the description said she takes different paths to find the perfect man.
I thought the book was well written. I feel like I get into a part and then pow! On to another. Not sure how I feel about that. LoL I did enjoy the book but, the ending??? Come on now! I have a feeling, I know who she ends up with from a few lines in the last few pages “ rain or shine” and his sparkling eyes. But then, what about “ from one end of the earth to the other” I dunno. I wasn’t really into how the book ended. I was rooting for Chase or Liam but, who know who it was. I wish the author gave us a bit more at the end.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Be Brave with Me: Finding Love in Green Springs, Book One by C.A. Miconi and J.B Havens is a wonderful romance story set in a small town. I sat and settled in and soon became engrossed and lost in the story and pages turning, I soon found myself at the end. It has everything to make it a great read, humor and drama, chemistry and emotion, drama and angst. I fell in love with the characters and the small town the story was set in. When faced with the end I was a little sad to see the story ended as I wanted more but as this is the first book in the series I am hoping to see more of them in the future. This is a great start to a wonderful new series.

Be Brave With Me (Finding Love In Green Springs Book 1)Be Brave With Me by J.B. Havens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Be Brave With Me is the first novel in the Finding Love in Green Springs series by C.A. Miconi. And Be Brave With Me might be on of my favorite titles ever! I absolutely loved how perfectly it fit with the story.

Meg Taylor is lost, well maybe not lost so much as wondering. She has lost everything and has bucket list, but what she wasn’t expecting was her vehicle to breakdown in about the smallest town ever in Mississippi.

Drew Moyer is a homegrown small town boy. He seems together, but has had his own tragic experience that he has battled to come back from. He seems to be further along than Meg in her healing process, but his tragedy did happen a lot longer ago.

Can Drew help Meh heal? Can they help each other? Will Meg stop her journey after all that she has found in Green Springs?

This novel was steamy to the max! I enjoyed the characters banter and the chemistry was truly off the charts. I cannot wait for more from this author and this series!

I don’t even know how to start this review. I’ve read the other two books in this series and they were so awesome. This book…. Was by far the best book I’ve read in 2020. I’ve read a lot of books this year… this was… phenomenal. I laughed, I cried, I almost vomited… SUCH A GREAT BOOK. I don’t even know where to begin seriously. This was Libby’s book, she’s a badass FBI agent who takes down the bad guy… but then things start to turn south after her amazing bust. I can’t give anything away but read this series. The third book is the best and they were all so amazing. I will literally read the phonebook if Megan Mitcham writes it. *fan girl* 🙂

Each book follows a different couple but you do get to see the others in each book. I loved getting to read about the ins and outs of the club and the members.
Love all the bikers and how they vow to never get an old lady and then fall head over feet for the most perfect woman for them.

I laughed, I cried, and I swooned with each and every book. Great series, and I will own each of these in paperback one day.

Be Brave with Me: Finding Love in Green Springs, Book One by C.A. Miconi

Everyone deals with their pain in different ways and this couldn’t have been more true with Meg and Drew. They were both angry but they dealt with it in very different ways.

Meg is in the earlier stage of grief and she just can’t seem to get her feet under her after two heartbreaking losses. She ends up in Green Springs and has no intention to stay.

Drew is a life in Green Springs but he too had dealt with grief. He has his life together, good job and his Nana is there for him as well.

This story about two people trying to figure out which path to follow is sweet and touching. I enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I have quickly come to love Tricia Copeland books. Perfect was my first romance novel by her, and it was much different. It is written in a very unique way, and it took me a while to catch on. I don’t want to give anything away so I wont say much about it, but its very different from anything I’ve read before.
The story follows Chloe from college, and through the next decade or so. She is an amazing female lead, because she is independent and brilliant and successful. She knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to go after it, even if it means compromising relationships along the way. She doesn’t have a type, and I actually kind of loved all the men she dated throughout the story. From her high school sweetheart to a college basketball player, fashion industry, to IT. This book gives you a happily ever after, that you didn’t see coming. Or at least, I didn’t see it coming! Read it, you won’t regret it.

Be Brave with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 1) by CA Miconi was a sweet romance. I was curious about main character Meg after the opening of the book. I wanted to know what happened and what has caused her to run. I got my answer later on. I loved how she began to change in the small town of Green Springs. Drew was also a fascinating character and I loved his personality. He understood Meg immediately after meeting her. He too had been through tragedy and it changed him. Seeing the two interact as they did was beautiful. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

I wasn’t too sure about this book when I read the description – I usually like that clear male/female lead characters and this book sounded like it was everything but that. However as soon as I started reading it I enjoyed it.
The book has an overall lighthearted feel to it and is an easy book to read. The author does a great job of creating a world in which it feels like you are there with the MC.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Designing Love by Victoria Grant is the third book in the Calderone Family Romance series. This book can be read as a stand-alone, it does not have to be read in order.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I found it to be a highly enjoyable one. It was a well written story that knew how to catch your attention.
The characters were a really good match as well. At times I found Caroline to be a little too argumentative – almost like she was doing it for the sake of arguing – but Charles was a great offset to this. It all seemed to work very well and produced a couple that I wanted to see together.
Although not the first in the series it was an easy book to get into and follow and has definitely piqued my interest. I will be going back to read the first two books.

Forgotten Promise Book two: The Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Forgotten Promise (Forgotten #2)Forgotten Promise by Virginia Wine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bryer and Nathan have been through a lot…and are finally at a place where their relationship is on solid ground. They are moving on from their pasts…until Bryer’s past starts contacting her. Nathan knows this is not a good sign and vows to protect Bryer at all costs. However, through the use of the manipulation that Cash is known for, he gets Bryer to come to him…willingly. What follows causes both Bryer and Nathan to question just how solid their relationship is and what the future holds for them. We are left with another cliffhanger…which makes me excited to read the next book.

I found myself, once again, intrigued by how the story will play out. The vulnerabilities and emotions displayed by both of the main characters can seem too much at times…but they are real. This is how real people feel in relationships. And the secondary characters, again, help push the story along while hinting at their own story that could be brewing. I will definitely be checking out the next book to see what happens next!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have absolutely loved all the inclusions of this Anthology, Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole). Who doesn’t love enjoying the chance to take a piece of their childhood and discover a grown up way to read our favorites. I love this book as it gave me a chance to take a moment and enjoy so many twists to a classic that has always been an all time favorite of mine. I enjoy the fact that each author has such a distinct voice that comes across and makes you feel as if you’re stepping into a whole new world with each novel. This one did include some authors that I didn’t know I was missing in my life. I will now have a whole set of new authors to discover outside the anthology and that is a win win situation for all involved. I loved all of the short reads available but the ones by Lorah Jaiyn, and Jess Bagnall, so those will be the ones I have decided to start devouring their libraries first. I look forward to seeing if this is the beginning of a set of anthologies that will make our old fairytale favorites come to life for us again. Happy reading!

How (Stalker Series, 3)How by Megan Mitcham
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have really enjoyed all the Stalker Series from Megan Mitcham so far and the latest installment of, How, is not an exception to the rule. I love how Mitcham writes romantic suspense. The flow and the suspense is always so well balanced that I feel as if I am reading a story and viewing the movie right before my eyes. This one has to be one of my favs of the series though as I grew close and invested in the main character even more so and the supporting cast as well. This book will want to demand your full attention from beginning to end so I recommend giving yourself a solid day to devour it the way you will so desire.

In How we get to follow the FBI Special Agent Libby Irish as she struggles to prove her worth as a woman in a field overstocked with men and manly sexiists. She is forced to take time off until an scandalous, well some say so, picture surfaces. During that time things are anything but a vacation and a stalker begins to mess with Libby in some disturbing ways. She suspects her creepy neighbor may be the culprit but ends up not so much and these two will develop more than a strong team to battle the issues at hand. The romance was a nice break up with the suspense. I can’t wait to see what Megan Mitcham has up her sleeves next!

Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Book 3)Designing Love by Victoria Grant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first read by Victoria Grant and this is also the third book in her Calderone Family Romance Series. I didn’t struggle with not having read the others but I look forward to seeing what the other books are like now that I finished them. These novels revolve around a sexy set of rich brothers in the Caldrone Family. In this novel we get to follow the smexy Charles, a dedicated architect, and what happens when Carolyn has to work together to design a new office building. Things takeoff and a comedy and romantic story that follows. I loved the push and pull between Charles and Carolyn they did seem to come across as meant for each other eventually and their banter keeps things light hearted and fun as you read. I look forward to seeing who we will meet next in the family and getting my hands on those other novels that came before. Always is a bonus when I find a new author that I enjoy as it seems to open a whole new world of reading for my nerdy self to devour. I can’t wait to see what will come next for the family and who we will get to meet. I am also about to go one-click the previous books asap!
