Abby is a college student struggling to find out who she really is outside of who her mother sees her as, outside of her life as a friend, and outside of everything she’s been told to be by society. This book is the perfect book for any young adult to read in order to discover who they are as a person. It teaches valuable lessons on how to discover the layers of you as an identity: But also who a young person can be as a sexual person in this society in the modern society. I love the way this author writes her stories and brings the audience on a joyful ride.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books #1 to 3) is a present from K.L. Montgomery to all her avid fans – you can simply have all three first books in one nice set, making it easy to lose yourself into hours and hours of goodness! You could read all the books as standalones but getting them as a book set makes this point moot as you will read all of them! The set includes Music Man (Book 1), The Flip (Book 2) and Plot Twist (Book 3). The whole series gives us stories that are about how to love oneself, what happens when you follow your dreams (or do not), and how does it feel to find the other half of your soul. The first book – Music Man – is Jack and Clare’s poignant story about what you do when your moment in the limelight arrives when you are already settled in another kind of life and have found a woman that is the other half of your soul. The second book – The Flip – is the story of Andrew and Sonnet who have hated each other since high school. It takes 10 years for them to come to the point where they have to come together in honouring someone’s bequest and what a journey it starts them on! The third book – Plot Twist – this is the crazy story of Meric Chandler and Lindy Larson filled with music and backstage romance and I have to say that Lindy is probably the one out of all three heroines that I could most relate with. You will not go astray by picking up the set and losing yourself into the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with independent heroines and down-to-earth men that have to work hard to earn their love!

Montgomery – Review by Jana Teppih
Initially I found the writing style a little challenging to get into, however after the first couple of chapters I caught the flow. Of course, then I couldn’t put it down. Of Magic and Scales is a meandering mystery story It takes it’s time and introduces several magical creatures along the way. Aiden trying to come to terms with himself added dimension to the story. And, Naël is someone you kind of love to hate. He is irritating and rude, but he also cares about Aiden in his own way. I could really identify with Aiden’s desire to just live a low-key life without drama. Unfortunately, as in real life, you don’t always get what you wish for. Overall, I really enjoyed this story. I’m wondering if there will be another book because I would definitely read more!
High Fae Academy – Year One: Fae Paranormal Romance by Kaylin Peyerk
This was a quick read but it had plenty going on and I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved Tiana and as much as she didnt want to attend the fae academy, she found out not everything is as it seemed. The attraction her elements felt toward each element prince was off the charts. Let’s not forget the man when that resides inside her, with all these men I don’t know who she will choose. It was a captivating original story that I had a hard time putting down. When I got to the end I couldn’t believe I was left hanging on the edge of a cliff!! I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. I highly recommend this book.
I really enjoyed this story. I especially liked the recipes in it as the story went along.
Kally has been burnt and hurt by love in the past. She vows never to let anyone get that close again. She has her own home, a successful business in her little cafe selling delicious treats and coffee. What else could she want?
Until the day Max walks into her life. Max has had problems in his past too but no matter how much Kally pushes him away he is drawn to her.
Can they both recover from their pasts and will Kally be able to trust someone with her heart again.
I loved this book. The characters are likeable and relatable. It also brings into it cultural references to Greek families and the way they interact which was nice to learn about.

This is a great story bringing romance, crime, and supernatural all together.

Denial Hero High Book 1 By Mina Chara ☆☆☆☆☆ This is a full length fantasy. Written for the coming of age romance readers.
Welcome to the School for the Power People. Hero High provides all the things the students need. This is a different type of school you are used to. These high school students are told what to wear, as the school provides the clothes. The students are followed around by cameras and are told who they are to date. That being the case, they are paid for this. Good or bad the money is to help out their families. That is all I will tell you! No spoilers!
Mina Chara has written this Fantasy Adventure. I love the characters in this story. But most of all I feel as though I am right there beside the teens. This book is loaded with action and will keep you reading. Although it is written for teens and young adults, I feel anybody could read it. This gives you a chance to discuss this book with your teens, open communication is always GREAT. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series, as well as discussing it with my teenager. Well Done Mina Chara!

After speaking to the brothers and explaining about Lizards accident and memory loss the brothers step up to help her raise Lizards son. But hanging around at the compound will this help Lizards memory or will it make things worse?
Also after a woman enters Devil’s Ink asking for a tattoo removed this could mean trouble for the brothers. The tattoo is a property of tattoo which means she belongs to someone but since the tattoo was given unwillingly to this woman they agree to help which leaves the brothers and the woman and her child vulnerable to attack. Music Man A Single Dad Rock Star Romantic Comedy (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1) By K.L. Montgomery ☆☆☆☆☆ What can I say about this book? It’s a full length Romantic Comedy with a twist of Rock Star. This book can be a standalone. Although I don’t think it will be for many people.
Jack loves his music. Sense he can follow his dream at the moment, he settles for the next best thing. Teaching Music! But let’s not forget that little cutie Mariana, Jack’s daughter. The two have a special bond, one of love and for Jack’s dedication.
Claire has the gumption to get it done. She is also strong in her conviction. If she decides on something, she follows through. Learning to play the piano. Is really where she wants to be. Feelings are shared and this story is off and running.
K.L. Montgomery is a fabulous writer! The Jack and Claire story is just one example. Her characters are just everyday people, making the best out of life. The women are strong and not whiny, the men are real people. I love this story and can’t wait to read the series. I have read many of K.L. Montgomery ‘ s books and find this series is becoming my “Can’t wait for the next one” series to go after.

A Moore Affair Moore Family Saga Book 4 By Michele Sims ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ This is the 4th book in the Moore Family. This is a full length novel. Not for those under 18, due to the adult theme.
This is the marriage of Bella and Miles (ARI) Moore. Set in Scotland was their wedding, Paris was the honeymoon that followed. There were highs and lows in the days, weeks and months to follow. Miles has quite a following, being the popular music mogul he is. Can Bella and Miles get through the turmoil that follows Miles? Will their marriage be stronger, as they learn to trust and communicate? Your turn to find out.
Michele Sims wrote this page turner. I felt like I was in Scotland watching this wedding develop and take place. Her description of the things going on, just puts you into this story. I fell in love with her characters, and the places they visited. But more importantly was the communication between the two. Let’s not forget the emotional feelings going on in this story. I have enjoyed following this series and hope for more to come.

This is book 6 is the Mountain Series. It follows Abby’s story. We have meet Abby in the other Mountain books but this one can be read as a standalone. It does have references to the previous books but its not a lot that means you cant follow the story without reading the previous books.
Abby has finally left home and has started callege live. She is learning to live as an adult and deal with things in an adult way. She falls in love with a woman called Mia.
Even though she knows her mother will accept her gf and her choice to be with a woman, her father isnt going to be as happy or supportive.
This follows Abby’s journey from living two seperate lives, acting as one person with her dad and his family and being her true self around her mother, to finally learning and embracing who she is and managing to get that across to her father.
Its an emotional story with loads of ups and downs but a great insight into what a teenager may have to face for them to truelly be the person they want to be.

I loved this friends to lovers romance by Erin Bevan. Christian school teacher Alexandra Mills and Max Buchanan, a political figure and eligible bachelor are best friends and always have been and when Alex risks loosing her job when a one night stand leaves her pregnant Max steps in to help. Max in turn needs to prove that his playboy years are behind him if he wants to keep his business afloat and so they decide a marriage of convenience will help them both. However the longer they pretend to be in love both their feelings start to change, they just don’t tell each other. I loved Alex and Max’s characters they were realistic and likeable and the chemistry between them was obvious to everyone apart from them. I loved how their relationship changed from best friends to lovers and how this developed over the book. I was cheering them on hoping they would get their happy ever after. This was a lovely read, a great escapism book which flowed nicely and I felt fully immersed in Alex and Max’s story. A wonderful romantic novel full of emotions and drama. I look forward to future books in Bevan’s ‘Serendipity Falls’ series.

All The Wrong Reasons (Serendipity Falls Novel Book 1) By Erin Bevan 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story All The Wrong Reasons (Serendipity Falls Novel Book 1) by Erin Bevan. It is a book that pulled me in and didn’t let me go until I read the final page. It is a romantic comedy that made me smile, laugh, and also had moments that are touching. I loved reading about the characters of Alexandra Mills and Max Buchanan. Alex finds herself unmarried, pregnant, and in danger of losing her job. Max needs to show that his playboy reputation is in the past. What would happen if they entered into a marriage of convenience as a solution? Max and Alex are characters that I couldn’t help but care for with each chapter that I read. I loved the bantering back and forth between them. The story had my emotions going up and down the whole time I was reading. I also enjoyed reading about many of the additional characters that are introduced and interacted with Alex and Max. Don’t miss out on a romantic story that has wonderful characters. I highly recommend reading it.

The Explorer is the 6th book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. Books 1-3 in the series should be read in order but the remaining books are standalones and can be read in any order. I have previously read a lot of Phoebe Alexander’s book and have enjoyed everyone that I have read but I was a bit worried about this one as I didn’t really relate to Abby’s character when I read books 1-3. I did, however really enjoy this book although it didn’t grip me quite as much as Sarah and James’ story. In this book Abigail (or Abby) has gone off to college. It’s very much a coming of age story. Abby was confused about her sexuality. She was sure that she liked girls, and only girls but throughout this book we see Abby coming to terms with her sexuality and discover who she truly is. I really enjoyed reading Abby’s journey, her growing friendships and relationships. This book has some great secondary characters, particularly Willow and Gavin, who are both fantastic characters that I really enjoyed reading. I also enjoyed reading the relationship between Abby and her newly found father and half-sisters. As much as I hated her father’s actions, it was very well written and engaging to the reader. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. It’s a great coming of age story.

How Could I Forget is the 1st book in the Plentiful In Love series by N.D. Jackson. It is a wonderful second chance romance set in the town of Plentiful. I had not read any of this author’s work before but was intrigued by the blurb so decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I took a risk on a new author as I really loved this book. Kayla and Dan had an unforgettable one night stand on the night before graduation at college. Unforgettable for Dan as it was the night he lost his virginity. Unforgettable for Kayla as the night left her pregnant with twins and no way of contacting Dan as she didn’t even know his surname or anything about him to contact him. 6 years later and Dan comes to Plentiful to help his aunt Tilly only to find Kayla living a few doors away from her. Finding out that he’s a father totally rocks his world. He’s now a hugely successful CEO and a family is the last thing on his mind, that is, until he spends time with Kayla and adorable twins Dani and Tobin. I absolutely loved this book. I was gripped from the very beginning and could not put this book down. The interactions between Dan and Kayla are HOT, the chemistry is smoking. Aunt Tilly is one of the best secondary characters in a book ever. She’s hilarious and a total breath of fresh air. The scene stealers in this book are the adorable twins Dani and Tobin, in particular the scenes as they get to know Dan. You may need a tissue to get through some of them as they are so sweet and tug at the heart strings. If this first book is anything to go by, then this is going to be an amazing series. A must read!

Cade is the 3rd book in the awesome Default Distraction series by A.S. Roberts. Each book concentrates on 1 member of the band Default Distraction. The story in each book runs concurrently so there is crossover in each book. You could read each book as a stand-alone but as this is such an awesome series, I’d advise you to read them all and if you do, you may as well read them in order. Cade Morello is DD’s drummer and his family are mafia. He feels responsible for the suicide of his mother many years previously and now feels that he’s unlovable. Winter Davenport is the younger sister of DD’s guitarist Rafferty and comes with a lot of baggage from her younger years. DD are opening a hotel and Winter is in charge of all planning I loved Cade and Winter’s story. Both are so broken and neither is looking for a relationship. Winter is still trying to get over a relationship from her past but Cade is determined to get her into his bed and to submit to him. This leads to a lot of very funny interactions between the 2 as Winter does everything to avoid Cade and to push him away. I actually think that Cade might be my favourite of the DD guys although we still have to get Luke’s story which I can’t wait to read. If it’s anywhere near as good as Cade, then I’m going to love it. 110% recommend this book and the whole series.

Red Riding Hood (Down The Rabbit Hole) is an anthology of 12 different authors writing their version of Red Riding Hood. It covers several different genre’s including romance, erotica and horror. I am not going to review all of the stories but have chosen my 2 favourites to talk about. They are Ruby by Autumn Sand and Cloaked by Lia Fairchild. In Ruby by Autumn Sand, Ruby is a writer who is going through a divorce and is recovering from breast cancer. Her boss sends her to interview Count Edric Moreau of Paris who is known as the Wolf of Europe. Edric has taken over as the head of Moreau International and is known for seducing other millionaires and billionaires wives. The chemistry between the 2 is instant but Ruby is determined that she will not fall for his charms. Should she be afraid of the big bad wolf? I really enjoyed this story. In true Autumn Sand’s style it is erotic and titillating. In Cloaked by Lia Fairchild, Eva Chacon has been searching for her grandfather for 6 years. Most of her family had been wiped out when a war with another crime family got heated. While working as a nurse she thinks she has found him. As she tries to get to know him she also comes into contact with Luke. Is Luke all he seems? This story is quite dramatic and suspenseful and will keep you glued. Luckily it’s not a very long story and you can devour it all in one sitting. It was the first time I had read work by this author and this little tidbit has made me want more.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I can’t wait to see what else this author has for us. This is a sweet romance book about two best friends who are both faced with having to marry so why not a marriage of convience? Alex finds herself pregent and about to lose her job and Max needs to put his playboy reputation behind him to keep his business. Alex has never seen Max that way but will she change her mind? I was pulled in right from the beginning and was kept engaged to the end. This is a well written story that has characters that have great chemistry and brought the story to life. I had no problem connecting to them. They kept me turning pages and I highly recommend this book.
License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnus Book 1) By Carrie Pulkinen 4 Stars
I read Ms. Pulkinen’s Crescent City Wolf Pack series and loved it. When I saw this book, I quickly picked it up to read knowing what a great author she is. This book is completely different. It is fun, light hearted and will keep you laughing. It was nice to see a different side of the author.
Ethan has been a vampire for twenty five years and is broody and miserable. He meets Jane and believes that she’s his ex fiancée reincarnated. When he sees his chance to turn her, he takes it. He can finally be with Vanessa again. When Jane awakens, he realizes she is definitely not his ex. Jane is feisty, spoiled and obnoxious. What has he gotten himself into?
Jane is a blogger. Her and her friend Sarah decide to visit New Orleans and write about the sights. Jane meets the handsome Ethan while drunk and doesn’t really mind waking up with him. Realizing she’s a vampire, she takes it in stride. She now has super human strength, will stay young forever and has skin to die for. Now if she can just stop fainting at the sight of blood, everything will be okay.
The story is cute and funny. Who would have thought a vampire would have an aversion to blood? Although Jane’s yattering made me dizzy, this was a fun book to read. Looking forward to seeing what happens with Sarah.

I really enjoyed reading this story. It is a light, fun and flirty paranormal read. The story was different from other vampire stories I have read. The characters ranged from snarky to broody. Jane was tough to take at first. But then she starts coming up with all of these Edward Cullen movie references. That stuff is golden! She became more palatable after she calmed a bit and realized what a vampire life could do for her. Ethan is the broody one. He likes quiet and order. Jane is like a tsunami coming into his life. His biggest problem….she never stops talking. That give us some good times.
This is thoroughly enjoyable. I read it fairly quickly because it’s good and I love me some Vamp stories. I can’t wait to see what happens to Sophie in the next one!

I was so excited to see another book in this series – after all I loved the first 3 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! It was as I expected another amazing read and well worthy of 5 stars! This is the fourth book in this series and I feel they should be read in order to fully understand the dynamics of the characters. Through everything in this series the one thing that has always come through is the importance of family. I love Bella and Miles and their wedding day is finally upon them. They do genuinely love each other but their new life together certainly seems to be throwing some obstacles in their way. Again the authors writing had my attention from the beginning, I easily read the story in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down. Another wonderful read from Ms Sims! As always I look forward to reading more from her again in the future!

Read Between the Linesis the first book in the Freshwater series by Belinda Williams. It is a great contemporary romance, with endearing, relatable, and interesting characters. The story is well written, with more to offer than just romance, as the author opens the window on some sensitive subjects which she uses in a very considerate, yet honest way. I have read a couple of Ms. Williams other books and really liked them- so I knew I wanted to see what this new series would offer. I am happy to report that this kept me entertained right from the beginning- mixing humour, emotion, and drama into quite a fun read. Kate Chalmers has made quite a life for herself. She’s the popular is the co-host of one of the hottest current affairs shows on television. She is well liked, beautiful, savvy, and smart. Kate really loves what she does but strives to keep her private life out of the public eye. Her career and the life she has may seem enviable- but she’s been unlucky in love and yearns to meet someone who she could share her life with. But, with so much to occupy her time, finding love has been put on the back-burner. Then her new neighbour sparks her interest, as there’s something quite mysterious about him, and so she’s determined to uncover everything she can about him. Matt Goodridge is a doctor who has his own obstetrics practice. He doesn’t like talking about his past, or the traumatic event that led him on this career path. After moving into the same building as Kate and meeting his ‘famous’ neighbour, the chemistry between them ignites into more. But what happens when secrets are revealed? You really should read all the intriguing developments for yourself- you are bound to enjoy it just as much as I have! This is a great start to the new series, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.

Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski is an amazing dystopian novel which will make you feel like you are right there. This book is utterly fantastic. I knew I would like it from the second I read the description but I am blown away by how amazing this book was. It was so well written that it clearly has the distinctive markings of a dystopian novel and yet felt as if it were reality. It honestly felt like I could have stepped out my front door any second and been in this world. And I loved that about it, it made it all feel so much more real. I loved Thea, she is such a strong character. I got a real sense of fight about her. She made me want to read more about her character. This is strong and exciting book and one that I would highly recommend.
