Holding Out For Youby Anna Paige is a superb Brother’s Best friend/Enemies to Lovers story. Anna Paige has delivered a captivating story, as this book was so much fun to read. As with the other books of Ms. Paige’s that I have read, I really couldn’t have loved the characters, storyline and details any more than I did. Their personalities, quirks, and salty banter really gave this story an extra element of interest, and entertainment. Blair and Ash have butted heads, poked, and prodded each other at every given opportunity. But is their verbal jousting and barbs just a cover for their real feelings? You really should read the story and discover all the sexy, fun, and entertaining details for yourself- you are sure to love it as much as I did! I can’t wait for my next “fix” from Ms. Paige.

Cade is the third book in the fantastic Default Distraction seriesby the incredibly talented A.S. Roberts. As with the other two books, this superb Rockstar romance had me completely engrossed right from the get-go. With plenty of emotion, drama, chemistry, passion, romance, intensity, tension, and some suspense- I found it just to riveting to put down. It could be read as a standalone, but I really recommend reading the other two books first, as they introduce the characters and provide other background information that will really enhance your reading experience of this book- not to mention that they are an incredibly good read, too. The three books also play out, mostly, along the same timeline- so if you have read the other books, you are really getting a ‘fuller’ reading experience. Cade is the drummer with popular rock band “Default Distraction”. They are riding the charts, and enjoying the life that stardom has afforded them. Cade’s life, especially his past, is quite complicated- and that comes into play through the story. Winter is Rafferty’s sister (Book #2), whom we met at the beginning of the series. She and Cade have a past, which is exactly where she wants to keep things. She isn’t the same young girl she was then. She is in charge, in control, and used to calling the shots. She’s responsible for DD’s new hotel venture’s grand opening and it is her primary focus. Until Cade shows up. What happens here makes for a riveting read! I fell in love with Ms. Roberts’ writing, and characters back in book one(Brody) and thought she would be hard pressed to top that book. Then book two released (Rafferty), and I thought the same thing. Lightening can’t strike three times in one place! Can it? Well, if you are A.S. Roberts, it can, and does!!! I was definitely looking forward to Cade’s story since meeting him back in book #1 but wasn’t too sure it would live up to the other two books- I had my hope’s, but a few reservations too. But, I really should have never doubted Ms. Roberts, as this book was EVERYTHING I could have imagined, and more- and EVERYTHING you could ever want from a Rockstar romance. The story really blew me away! It was quite raw in places, and incredibly emotive! I smiled, laughed, teared up, and felt every single word! I wasn’t just reading the words, I was IN the story, living every moment alongside these incredible characters. As I have said before, Ms. Roberts has a real talent for getting her story and characters to really connect with the reader, pulling them in and captivating them with her words. The energy and tension she’s able to create in her stories, and between the characters, is truly masterful. I can’t imagine anyone reading her stories and not enjoying every word. Again, the characters are really well written, full developed and so wonderfully endearing. I loved everything about them. I also felt for them as everything unfolds. I was completely invested in them and the outcome of their story. A word of warning though- be prepared for a bit of a book binge, as you won’t want to put “Cade” down! Can’t wait to see what Ms. Robert’s has in store for us next!

Love Is What You Bake Of It is the first book in a wonderful new series, “Meraki”, by Effie Kammenou. I really loved Ms. Kammenou’s “Gift Saga”, so it was no question that I was going to read this book. I happily one-clicked a copy for myself and jumped right in. It is different from the Gift Saga stories- in a great way- still the same well written and polished product, and with Greek characters that just jumped off the pages- but with a more light-hearted, humorous and fun story. This story has a lot going on in it, but doesn’t feel ‘heavy’ or overly complicated. It is primarily, a contemporary romance- with interesting and entertaining family dynamics, some suspense, love, humour, hope, mystery, secrets, and of course- baking. Kally has been burned by love in the past, which has tainted her view on love and relationships. She has poured all her time, energy, and passion into pursuing her dreams- focusing on her café perfecting her baking. She’s built a great life for herself and she is happy with where she is in life. Then Max walks into her life, bringing complications she will need to address. Will she let down her barriers and take a chance on love again? Or will her tainted view on love, and the revelation of secrets keep her from opening her heart? I really enjoyed this story. It had a bit of a “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” feel to the story- which I loved, but with its own unique identity. I loved the wonderfully quirky characters who really made this story come to life. There is no question, I will definitely be following the rest of the series! A fun read!

A Moore Affair is the fourth Book in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. I really recommend reading the previous three books before starting on this one to help you fully appreciate the characters and understand what’s going on in this story. Miles and Bella are getting married. Even though they love each other, is she really prepared for what’s to come? With secrets and obstacles to overcome, their story is worth reading to discover if their love and relationship will survive it all. Well written and enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

High Fae Academy: Year One: Fae Paranormal Romance is the first book in the High Fae Academy series by Kaylin Peyerk. This is my first read by Ms. Peyerk, so I really didn’t know what to expect from her writing. But I really love a great fantasy story- and I’m not one to pass up a paranormal romance. So, I grabbed a copy and took the plunge. This isn’t my first paranormal, reverse harem college romance- so I was looking forward to seeing what Ms. Peyerk could do with the subject-matter. This turned out to be a sweet, interesting, and intriguing story- although somewhat predictable- I still enjoyed the story. There were a few minor issues for me- I would have liked more on the character/s backstory(ies) and character information as this would have allowed me to connect with the character/s more quickly and easily. But perhaps we will get more backstory and character information in future instalments- I will have to wait and see. There were also times the story felt a little rushed, especially at the beginning while the groundwork was being laid out. But it did settle down part way through and I was able to enjoy the story more. Then there were storyline issues- such as the emphasis that was placed on the fact that Tiana was staunchly against the academy and all it ‘stood’ for- but kind of just ‘accepted’ being there without the ‘fight’ I would have expected knowing she felt so strongly about the Academy. I thought her transition went a little ‘too easily’. But that’s just my opinion- others may not feel that way about it. The thing that really drew me to the story was the whole prophecy aspect of the story, and the promise of a great ‘adventure’. I am holding out my full opinion on this until I have read further instalments- and get more of a feel of where the story is headed. After the ending of this book, I am intrigued to start the next book and find out what happens.

Music Man is the first book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It is a really fun and very enjoyable romantic comedy. Romance in Rehoboth is a series of standalone stories where each book centres on its own particular character/couple. The stories differ in their storyline, feel, and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I have read all the books in the series so far, and highly recommend them as they are wonderful stories and well worth the read! We meet Jack and Claire and follow along as their story unfolds. Jack dreamed of making it big in the music industry. But things didn’t go quite according to plan and he ended up teaching music instead. Then he meets Claire, who arrives for lessons. There is an attraction and instant connection between them that draws them together. Things are going really well. But when Claire encourages Jack to enter a contest, things take a different turn as Jack gets another chance to follow his dreams. What will the future hold for these two? Will their love survive? As I have said many times before, I think Ms. Montgomery is a gifted storyteller, easily pulling her readers into her story and keeping us connected and hooked from beginning to end. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable and completely relatable. As with all her other books, this is really well written, entirely captivating, and was a really fun read. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Serenade by T.K Lawyer is a great paranormal romance. I love everything paranormal, with witches and shifters right there at the top. So, when this book popped up on my recommended book feed, I knew I had to read it. It is a little different from other paranormal/shifter stories that I have read- and has its own unique identity. It was intriguing and entertaining- and I enjoyed the story. Kingsley is a wolf shifter, who had given up hope of ever finding his fated mate- until he meets Eva. Everything about her calls to him- he is drawn to her like a magnet. Eva is a powerful witch, who has trust issues and a fear of losing control of her powers. She doesn’t date, but can’t help but notice the connection she has to Kingsley. Too bad she can’t trust men. Or can she? Will this Arctic Wolf and the alluring Witch find love, or do they discover that wolves and witches definitely don’t mix? You really should read the story and discover the answer for yourself. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more from T.K Lawyer in the future.

Why is the highly anticipated second book in the Stalker Series by Megan Mitcham. After reading the first riveting book, “Who”, and loving it so much- I really had very high expectations for this story. I wondered if Ms. Mitcham would be able to even match, let alone surpass, the sheer brilliance of book one. But, I really shouldn’t have doubted her though, because this book is every bit as good as the first- and I am having trouble picking my favourite out of the two. It’s so intense, compelling, and clever. Colour me hooked on this series now, it’s that addictive! I will be expectantly waiting for the rest of the series to release- ready to pounce as soon as they do! The book/s could be read as standalones, but as each book focuses on an individual from a great group of very close friends, I really recommend reading book one before starting on this one. As I said earlier, book one is such a riveting psychological thriller, it’s a story that deserves reading in its own right- but it also introduces us to the recurring characters, and also knowing what happens in book one will only enhance your reading experience of this story. “Why” follows Genevieve Holst, who we met in book #1. She’s a formidable attorney, who has just successfully represented her boss, clearing him of murder charges, after he was accused of killing his wife and two young children. He’s not just her boss, but also a friend and mentor. She had to do what she could to help clear his name as there was no way he could be guilty of such a heinous crime. Right? But no sooner had the ink dried on his release papers, he began tweaking her suspicion. Did he actually kill his family? Did she help to free a killer? And this is where this wonderfully suspenseful story really takes flight… The story is a very steamy and suspenseful crime thriller that’s packed full of intrigue, dramatic developments, mystery, tension, danger, and plenty of action. As with the first book, the intensity, suspense and dramatic effects were so well developed, cleverly crafted, and entirely compelling. It was so engrossing and easy to lose myself in the story (in the best possible way) that I found myself devouring the pages, completely caught up in the exciting developments and trying to figure out what would happen next. It was so deftly woven- and is a true testament to Ms. Mitcham’s writing prowess. I am eagerly anticipating the next instalment- “How” (Book #3) – FBI Agent Libby Irish’s story.

The Explorer is the sixth book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. What a wonderful addition to the series this is. Even though it could be read as a standalone, I really recommend reading (at least) the first three books in the series before starting on this one as they are where we first meet our MC, as well as providing background information and other relevant details which enhance your appreciation of this book. Abigail Lynde (Abby) is Sarah’s daughter (from books #1 – #4) and we now get to follow her and find out so much more bout her. She is just starting out on her Freshman year in college- and has a great understanding of what she wants to do with her life- but is at a loss as to ‘who’ she really is. She feels she has to be so many ‘different’ people to everyone in her life- presenting a different version of herself to them all. It’s exhausting and makes everything so much more complicated. We follow her on her journey of self-discovery- as she finds her true ‘identity’ and through all the highs and lows that come with it, as she navigates through trying to balance it all along with college life. Fantastic!

Indebted to the Vampires is the first book in the House of Durand Series by Erin Bedford. It is a paranormal romance story- a reverse harem fantasy, with vampires, drama, danger, tension, angst, suspense, and interesting characters. This was my first read by Ms. Bedford, but she already had me at the mere mention of ‘vampires’. And even though Reverse Harem isn’t my go-to sub-genre, I was intrigued enough by the premise of the story to want to dive right in. The story was fun, if not just a little predictable and corny in places. But it definitely entertained me right from the beginning. The characters were all really well developed individuals, with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. They were an eclectic mix, but all added their own flavour to my reading experience. There were a few minor editing issues with the story – punctuation problems, and the use of wrong words etc- but these issues didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the story. (Kindle edition- verified purchase on Amazon Au) Piper Billings hasn’t had a very good run of late. She’s is in desperate need of a job, any job really. So, when the employment agency calls about a live-in cleaning position, Piper is in no position to refuse the offer. She arrives at the address, to find a sprawling mansion- and discovers that her new ‘bosses’ will be six mysterious, demanding, and quite ‘snooty’ brothers. Piper’s clumsy nature soon comes into play, when she accidentally smashes a priceless vase. So, with that, any thoughts she may have had about leaving are now out of the question, as she becomes indebted to her new employers. But things in the household are a little strange, her employers are entirely too mysterious and are definitely hiding something. Piper’s sassy and inquisitive nature is about to get her in trouble. What she discovers will turn her world upside down. But also places her in a bit of a sticky situation, because the House of Durand will go to extreme measures to protect their secret. Join Piper, along with the Durand brothers, Antoine, Marcus, Wynn, Drake, Allister, and Rayne- and discover what happens for yourself. I am invested in this story and the characters, so I will definitely be reading the rest of the series asap!

My Pretty is the first book in the Mischief Matchmakers series, and my first read by Madeline Fay. Wow! This is definitely not what I was expecting at all- in a fun way. This was so much more than I imagined- and I loved Madeline Fay’s original twist to the classic “Wizard of Oz”. Put aside everything you thought you knew about the ‘Wizard of Oz’- things are not what they seemed then. We get East’s perspective here, and she casts a whole new light on the story. The heroine we thought we knew from the original, may not be what we were told. And the ‘villain’ of old will be seen in a whole new light. This is a crazy, zany, hilarious, sexy, erotic, laugh-out-loud little gem that kept me entertained from beginning till end. Whilst a little corny in places, the superb character/s, and fantastic, fun, and hilarious story really won me over- it’s not one I will soon forget, that’s for sure. But be warned, this is an erotic retelling- a reverse harem story that takes us on an adults only romp through Oz. It was a great introduction to Madeline Fay’s work, and I will definitely be hunting down more of her work to explore in the very near future. Can’t wait to see what awaits us in Book #2!
Denial is the first book in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. It is a Young Adult fantasy adventure story set in a ‘superhero’ high school. When 17 year old Friday develops ‘powers’ she is sent to Hero High, where her adventure begins, and things start to get interesting. Mina Chara is a new-to-me author whose book popped up on my recommended book feed- it piqued my interest, so I grabbed a copy to see what I would find. I am happy to say that I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to the rest of the series. If you love young adult reads with fantasy, adventure, and superheroes- then this is definitely the book for you.

The Bar Next Door is the first book in the Barflies series by Katia Rose. This is a great contemporary romance- with a rom-com feel and an enemies to lovers aspect as well. The story is angsty, emotive, fun, sweet, and sexy. As my first book by Katia Rose, I felt it was a perfect introduction to her work- and definitely left me wanting to explore more of her books. It was so easy to immerse myself in the story, while also investing in these wonderful, slightly quirky, and complex characters- who really made this story come to life. Monroe’s life revolves around Tavern Toulouse where she has worked ever since her student days. It’s her second home and the staff are more like family. But, business hasn’t been so great so the threat of closure is an ever present weight on her shoulders. The building next door has been sold and is being renovated into a trendy wine bar lounge- which threatens the already struggling dive bar even more. Monroe decides to do some investigating- and this is where the story takes off. Julien and Monroe may be rivals, but the sparks fly, and things quickly heat up. Will their rivalry end in heartache and loss? Or will love win out in the end? I loved the chemistry and connection between Julien and Monroe- it was just the right mix of tension, angst, drama, sweet, and spicy. The banter also added to my enjoyment of the story. I am very much looking forward to the rest of this series.

Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski is a wonderfully original and intriguing dystopian romance with sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, and steam-punk elements. To me, it really felt like a grown-up, dystopian “Anastasia”(-esque) story – which I loved, but with its own unique identity which gave it so much originality, depth and interest. The story is incredibly well woven- and Ms. Lewandowski’s world building is brilliant. She paints a picture of a far flung future ravaged by war and catastrophe. Society has reverted back to steam power, airships, and horse drawn carriages. This steampunk dystopian world comes to life under her talented direction. Crafting a realistic and entirely plausible world in which to set her story.

Throw in plenty of danger, a wonderful romance, dramatic developments, fantastic world building- and this story really gets interesting. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what Ms. Lewandowski has in store for us next.

This is such a wonderful Paranormal Romance!! I literally could not put it down. Incredibly hot sexy vampires? Check. And not just one, but many. Throw in a clumsy girl with a healthy libido who badly needs this maid job, and you have a fun, quirky book that makes you feel happy reading it. Piper is just a real twenty-something most women could relate to at some point in their life. The brothers are all completely different from one another too. The author lets us see more about each one of them too, so we can better understand why they are the way they are. Not to mention that the story itself is different. I never would have thought for my main character to be a clumsy maid in a house full of vampires. Of course, there is much more going on then just this, like the attractions each one feels to Piper and vice versa. That is not all, but I do not want to give any more away.
If you like hot Paranormal Romance, this book is for you. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

I give Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1) by K.L. Montgomery, 5 stars.
This is another amazing book in an incredible series. First off, this series is in my neck of the woods. That is what interested me in the series in the first place. How many people write about Delaware in fiction?! What kept me is the incredible writing of an obviously talented author. This book is another amazing example of it. These characters are so real, the have real faults, real issues, and real feelings. Not one of these characters are flat. There are parts that will make you cry, parts that will make you laugh and parts where you really want to smack the characters upside the head. But that’s ok, they’re allowed. The story of him wanting to be a “rock star” is an interesting twist for this series. I am blown away at how may different storylines and types of people the author can come up with. They do not feel like the same thing again and again. I congratulate her on this and hope to read many more in this series. Needless to say, I could not put the book down.
Oh and for the record, driving while being stuck behind a chicken truck — pure Slower Lower. Talk about realism!
If you are a fan of sweet romances where the people are real and they struggle just like normal couples, this book and series are for you.

This is a steamy Paranormal Romance with a wolf shifter and a human who has no idea the supernatural even exists. Kingsley knows right away that Eva is his, but now he will have to convince her, and he will do anything to prove it. But how will she react when he tells her the truth? Eva gave up on dating, but meeting Kingsley give her second thoughts. Should she give him a chance? Why does it feel like he is hiding something?
An entertaining supernatural romance, this has elements of romance, suspense, and some fun thrown into the mix. The characters are real and fun, I would love to see more of them. Even though Eva isn’t sure what she believes, she steps up for those she cares for when the time is needed. It is a story of whether or not these two, who seem to be fated, can dance to the song of romance and become one. But it is not a simple one. It takes love and trust, and we see just how much each one has.
If you are a fan of supernatural romance, you will enjoy this book.

Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski

Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski was an excellent dystopian romance. I loved the world building and how the author opens with an explanation of what changed the world. It set up the basic background for why everything reverted back to carriages and horseback for travel. I loved the main characters and their development. Thea matured greatly after the first attack on the palace. I felt that as the main character she was easy to relate to and visualize. Her brother Arthur irked me at times but he ultimately stepped up to take care of her and to fulfill his duties. This was an excellent read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Denial (Hero High Book 1) by Mina Chara was a fun and interesting short read. I loved the authors creativity in making a world full of heroes. This gave it a unique twist. I loved the backstory of main character Friday. She was different and extremely smart. I loved her and her quirkiness. I also loved how the book was set up as an interview of her. I am interested in learning more about Ashley. Is he who I think he is? I can’t wait to read the next book. This book may be short but it is great. I easily give it 5-stars and I highly recommend it.

A Moore Affair by Michele Sims was a great novel! This was the 4th book in a series, and I have not previously read the others before I read this one. You don’t have to read the other first, but I would recommend it so you aren’t thrown off like past events like I was a little bit. This book had a great story line and characters. I was a little thrown though, cause the timelines weren’t clear cut, and when the characters talked it was a little difficult to figure out who was talking to whom. I enjoyed this book though and can’t wait to read the others in the series in the future!

High Fae Academy: Year One by Kaylin Peyerk was a great novel! I enjoyed it from the first page. I could hardly put it down! Great characters, great plot, I absolutely love books written that star fae characters. Some of the dialogue seemed a little choppy at first, but it quickly sorted itself out. This was a very enthralling read, I highly recommend! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
Hail Mary by Hope Anika. This was a great book! Its the story of Wynn Owens who is a strong, independent, take no crap woman. She is a ex con, trying to be a respectable citizen and being a decent landlord. When one of her elderly residents is questioned in a recent bank robbery she meets ex DEA agent turned Sheriff Beau Greystone who comes snooping around. She has nothing nice to say to him but she does think he’s hot! Beau is still trying to put his life back together after a horrible explosion murdered his wife and left him with a bad injury. He’s not supposed to think a woman is sexy but he does. The sparks are obvious but they are both hard headed enough to not do anything about it. Beau has been checked out for the most part since the murder but trying to solve this robbery might be the thing to get him back in the game and on top of that there is a killer that is back in Blossom Hill. Will he catch the killer before another murder happens and will Beau and Wynn let go of their pasts long enough to see if they have real feelings for each other? This is a awesome book that will keep you on the edge of your seat! I loved it!

This is the story of Kally Andarakis who was always in love with baking. She has never thought she was worthy of love but when a handsome man way out of her league starts pursuing her she risks everything to be with him. When she listens to her insecurities Kally is brokenhearted and pours everything into her cafe the Coffee Klatch. She is very successful and loves what she does, has a pretty home, parents who argue all the time, a grandmother she’s crazy about and a man crazy best friend. Max Vardaxis has a precious daughter and that is his life until he walks into Kally’s cafe and he’s crazy about her. Will they be able to make it work or will Kally let her insecurities ruin it all? A Moore Affair (Moore Family Saga Book 4) by Michele Sims. Th is is the 4th book in the Moore Family Saga and it is a great read. Its the story of Bella Wahlberg who is on top of the world . She is finally getting to marry the love of her life Miles “Ari” Moore who is a music mogul. Bella and Ari love each other completely but Bella is finding out being in love with a “superstar” entails a lot more than she expected. After their wedding and while on their honeymoon Bella is finding there is a totally different look to their public life and their personal life. Ari’s ex stalker is crazy and always creating drama and Bella has always been a very strong and confident woman but she is now even questioning herself. When certain things try to force them apart will they be strong enough to survive? I love this series and can’t wait for the next book!

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth #1) by K.L. Montgomery. I LOVE K.L. Montgomery so any book she has I grab. This one is no different. This is a great series and this is the first book. Its about a lady named Claire who has just turned the big 40. Jack is a singer/songwriter who after life changes direction he decides to teach music. He has always loved music more than anything. He meets Claire after she signs up for Piano lessons and he falls head over heels after their first meeting. They both hit it off and are having a great time learning about each other and falling in love. When Claire talks Jack into entering a contest things change. Will he choose to follow his forever dream even if it means losing Claire? Read Music Man to find out! I love this series and this book is one of the best.

Indebted to the Vampires (The House of Durand Book 1) by Erin Bedford. This is a fun, snarky read. Its the story of Piper who has lost her cushy job and is living in her car. She is on the last job interview with the temp agency so she has to make a good impression and boy does she. While at the interview she breaks a priceless vase. How can her life get any worse. She takes the job of being a maid to 6 hunky brothers but she doesn’t know that these hunky brothers are VAMPIRES! Piper is snarky, sarcastic and not afraid of anything but these brothers are weird. She is attracted to them all and the sexual tension oozes off the pages. The brothers are determined to keep their secret and they are not afraid to do anything to keep it. Serenade by TK Lawyer. This is a quick read about a wolf shifter and a witch. The Wolf Shifter is Kingsley who has given up on ever meeting his mate. He his handsome and kind and can have any women of his kind he wants. Eva is a witch that is beautiful, strong and set on never being in a relationship again. She meets Kingsley and he is enthralled with Eva. Her beauty is breathtaking, her cheery disposition one of a kind and her scent is like no other. Eva is struck with Kingsley and his handsome self but she doesn’t know his big secret….he’s a wolf! She is slowly coming around to Kingsley’s affection and attention but if she finds out his secret will it kill his chance? Kingsley won’t take no for an answer so read Serenade to find out if wolves and witches can mix!
The Explorer (Mountains Series #6) by Phoebe Alexander. This is a Series book but can be read by itself. Its a wonderful story. Its the story of Abigail who is headed to college where she hopes to get over the love of her life. Abby is at that confusing stage of life where she doesn’t know if she wants to date guys, girls or both. Abby is feeling pulled at all ends because she feels like she has to be a different person with all the people in her life. She meets Gavin and they hit it off right away. He is a shy geek who is starting college with no friends. So when he sees Abby he is instantly attracted to her but it takes him days to work up the courage to go up to her. When he does she tells him right off the bat she’s not attracted to guys! They still hit it off as friends and become fast buddies getting each other thru hard times at college! Its about professional Hockey player Roy Donaldson who is benched because his ex girlfriend/stalker causes nine kinds of trouble for him. Enter Patience Kennedy who is a Personal Assistant and working on being a junior partner. She is hired to help clean up Roy’s image and Roy is not going to make her job easy! When Roy and Patience meet sparks fly and Patience is fighting her feelings along with Roy’s sullen behavior. Will Olivia, Roy’s ex be caught in time to save Roy’s career? Why (Stalker Series Book 2) by Megan Mitcham. I flipping love this book! I read them out of order but it was ok. Its the story of Genevieve Holst prosecuting attorney who tries to make up for a horrible thing that happened to her sister. When her boss and friend Perry is accused of slaughtering his whole family including his two little kids! Gen is convinced that he is innocent so she does her best job ever to prove his innocence. During the trial she meets up with sexy, smart, smooth detective Owen Graham. She doesn’t know whether to jump him or kick him. He drives her crazy in every way possible! After the trial and Perry is found to be innocent Gen starts to see a side of Perry she’s never seen before and begins to doubt her belief in him! She is even almost scared of him. This is such a Psychological thriller it will keep you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end! Its one of the best books I’ve read this year!
