This is another collection centering around Brad. This collection consists of 15 very short erotic stories. Each one is different, but they are all very hot and sexy. In each story, the women Brad meets are all different types in different situarions, making you keep interest in the book. If you are a fan of erotic stories, this book will definitely warm your blood. The stories are quite short, so you can read one each night before bed for your pleasure.

This is a collection of short stories (around 20 pages or so each) that follow the sexual encounters of Brad. In this volume he has experiences with several people, including his boss and a woman on a train. These stories are not deep with story line and are designed for a quick read. Great for when you don’t have a lot of time but need a reading fix. I prefer much more story development, so this was a little less entertaining for me. But if you are just looking for the steamy bits, this would be a great read for you.
Guilty Pleasures volume 3 is a collection of some of the most taboo, steamiest short reads you will ever read. There is a something in this collection for everyone. On a scale of 1-10 this gets a 12 for the heat factor. This may be to taboo for some readers but if you enjoy reading something that will only take you about 20 minutes or so then you may want to read one or two of these stories at a time. Brad doesn’t discriminate. He doesn’t seem to have a type. As long as they are outgoing, willing and women he will have a shot at them.
Guilty Pleasures Volume 3 is a compilation of short erotic stories that can be read super fast. There isn’t a complex storyline in the stories but more of just the quick sexy read!
This book follows Brad and his sexcapades and wow! Seriously the pages literally singed on how hot every story was! I won’t even lie some of them had me blushing and that’s something that’s hard to do!
I loved this book so much that I’m about to go and hunker down to read the first two volumes!
Guilty Pleasures Volume Three by Joyce McCarthy a steamy four-star read. This is a collection of fifteen steamy and saucy reads. They are short and sweet, but they really get your engine revving. Brad and his many, many encounters that will just keep your eyes a popping. There really is something for everyone in this story, they are short and sweet in the right way, sweet like a giant ripe peach ready to be plucked.
Guilty Pleasures Volume 3 by Joyce McCarthy is a collection of erotic short stories about Brad and his conquests. It is a very quick and easy read as each story is only a few pages but they are well written and extremely explicit. Any woman who he comes across is not off limits, from a bored housewife, a hooker, his boss and a manager of a hotel, to name but a few. Brad’s exploits are hot, hot, hot and definitely sizzle between the sheets, that is if he makes it there or somewhere else.
If you want something tantalizing, something a little erotic or something light then grab a copy and prepare to be in need of a cold shower.
Legacy of Luck: Druid’s Brooch Series: #3 by Christy Nicholas
I loved this book just as much as the other books in this series. This book is so rich in detail that I felt like I was right there in it. There is magic, history, action, danger, romance and so much more. This story is Éamonn”s journey and it kept me completely enthralled. I really like Katie’s character as well and her strong personality. I couldn’t put this book down as soon as I started reading it until I got to the end. There are other wonderful characters in this story that make a great addition to this book. These books can be read as a standalone, but it is my suggestion to read them all because they are truly great stories. This author does an excellent job weaving magical stories in such a way that they grab your attention and keep you captivated. I highly recommend this book.

Legacy of Luck (The Druid’s Brooch Series Book 3) by Christy Nicholas was a pretty okay read that was intreating, engaging, with a solid plot.
A follower of this series, I have to say this wasn’t my fav, but still held my attention and kept me reading. I love the characters, and the MC’s were well developed, compelling, and easy to like. I like the opening, it set the stage for me and cemented the plot to come. The flow was steady, and the detail, wow, this book was heavy on the detail and really made you feel like you were apart of this world. I love the journey, the mystery, the little magic, and the high price that our MC had to pay when given the “gift”. This book was a rare take on what it deemed as romance. Sure they had little time together, but his will to dave her, find her, and doing what he could, was a treat for me.
I do wish there was more magic, and fea, but overall this book was a pretty solid read, and it gets my high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

5 Star Legacy of Luck (The Druid’s Brooch Series Book 3) by Christy Nicholas is the third Book in The Druid’s Brooch Series . This is a historical fantasy book that grabbed my attention from the very beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. I found myself lost in the pages and truly enjoyed this story. This is a story about Eamonn and Katie. He is a lover of women and gambling and doesn’t have trouble getting women or placing bets. She is a strong independent young woman. These two meet and there is definitely attraction between them. She finds herself married to a Scottish man and Eamonn finds himself going in search of Katie in Scotland. Can these two have a future together? Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This is probably the 5th book I have read by Christy Nicholas and like the previous books, this one is nothing short of awesome. Every time I read book from the Druid’s Brooch Series, I instantly get sucked in. This book is filled with romance, adventure, always magical and excellent characters.
I really enjoyed the character of Eamonn. He is the next in line to inherit the brooch and spends his time trying to save a fellow Traveler by the name of Katie from a loveless and unsafe marriage. The twists and turns along the way as well as the secondary characters we meet make this book truly wonderful. I especially love the way Katie’s parents were worked into the book as well as her evil fiancé/husband. Having such nasty characters really gives this book that extra edge, which again is what pulled me right in.
I truly recommend the entire Druid’s Brooch Series. Watching the brooch being passed down to different members of the family, and what obstacles they encounter because of it, is magical.

Brad, Brad, Brad. Oh Brad what a randy lad you are.
GUILTY PLEASURES is the highlight reel of Brad’s adventures. It is a a quick journal entry in the diary of Brad’s sex life. Almost like a 100th episode of your favorite sit com but these are sex scenes.
Each chapter is a scene of its own. Each scene is quick and to the point filled with open door erotica. Some are hotter than others but they all pack a punch. They are almost like the old “Penthouse Letters” that all had the phrase “…when much time my surprise ”
A quick and easy read that can picked up and put down as the mood strikes.

When I started the Druid’s Brooch series, I wasn’t sure to expect but now that I’ve finished book 3, it’s time I admit how much I’ve enjoyed it. Each story can be read as a standalone and the more I read from this Author, the harder it is to pick a favorite. Legacy of Luck had the imagery and authentic feel I’ve come to expect from the Druid’s Brooch series with a Fantasy element that proves to be fun and exciting. I really enjoy the depth and character development in this book. There were characters you love and those you love to hate, yet somehow find yourself invested in just the same. As always, looking forward to reading more from Christy Nicholas.

Legacy of Luck by Christy Nicholas was a very unique book. This book is a part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. This book is about Eamonn and his travels to Scotland after he falls in love with Katie. Katie is a bartered bride against her will and he along with her sister go off to find her. Overall I really enjoyed the story. I love Scotland and Ireland stories so this was fun. I would rate 4 stars.

I am reading this whole series so far out of order it isn’t even funny. I have enjoyed almost all of the books I have read by this author and this series has been great considering I don’t even read this genre. I must say that besides the area descriptions and where this book takes place, it is not my favorite of the series, but I sincerely did enjoy it. I am thinking that this is not the authors fault, maybe if I go back and read all of these in order it will all be different for me. In saying that you can absolutely read these all as standalones without too much of a problem.
Eamonn’s journey to locate Katie, his true love along with her sister and his cousin was fun, had a bit of magic here and there and also had some twists and turns that I was not expecting. I’ve always wanted to visit Scotland so it was great taking this journey with them.
There were some great characters in this book, all of them written in very well and I definitely disliked the ones Im sure I was supposed to. There are some sensitive subjects in this book that were a bit hard to read at some points, but all in all this authors writing still comes through as completely awesome throughout.

Legacy of Luck is the third book in Christy Nicholas’ Druid’s Brooch Series. It’s a fascinating series that I’ve been really enjoying. Each book focuses on a character in a different point in (predominantly Irish) history who inherits a brooch, passed down through the generations, and with it gains some magical powers. I love the glimpses into history, and the way the story unfolds throughout time. In Legacy of Luck, the heir to the brooch is Éamonn. A traveller with a knack for gambling with dice, Éamonn is desperate to save fellow traveller Katie from an arranged marriage she hasn’t consented to. He has to discover how to use his powers to help him on his quest, and how to do so safely. There are lots of good characters in this story – I particularly like Éamonn’s brother Ruari as he is kind and loyal and uninterested in the romantic drama that takes over most of the other characters. I also like Turlough with his gift for music. In this book there is a fair bit of violence and domestic abuse, particularly in Katie’s story. It is addressed sensitively and is a relevant part of the story, but at times it is quite graphic and can come unexpectedly. For me, this is a five star book. I enjoy the series, and this is a great addition to it! The books do not need to be read in order, and indeed the series order doesn’t follow the chronological order of the time periods that the books are set. So I’ve been reading them in a fairly random order and enjoying the story that way! If you’re particularly interested in Irish travellers or 18th Century history, this might be a good place to start.

This series are the only books I have read by this author and I have to say I have not been disappointed, Christy has a way of writing that really grabs you and makes you want to keep reading just to see what is happening. The thing I like about Legacy of luck is the story doesn’t start with a bang, it slowly builds up and in my opinion gives a chance of getting to the characters much better. It’s good to read another book with a female character as a main, but also making her a strong character enhanced the story. In this book we have romance and action a plenty. This book can also be read as a stand alone with ease. I highly recommend that this series is read, like me you will enjoy it I am sure.

The Guilty Pleasures Volumes from Joyce McCarthy are just that, my guilty pleasure reads. I always know I am in for a hot and steamy reading session whenever I pick up one of these novels. I have read the books in order, and recommend that you do as well for the maximum enjoyment of the series. These are short quickie reads of Brad and his various sexual encounters. So, with that said yes, this book is steamy and contains content that the reader would enjoy if they prefer an erotic fiction novel. If that isn’t your cup of tea I wouldn’t recommend you read this. However, if it is your thing, these books are fabulous options. I love how each of the stories stick to twenty or so pages, so it is enough to wet your palate but not overwhelm you with details. I prefer to read these is spurts before bed each evening when I choose these types of collections. This being volume three we are all aware that Brad enjoys several of the taboo subjects that most are afraid to admit they like, let alone detail. Not the case here as Brad shares all about it from his international flight tryst to the kinkiest of threesomes. Every moment is fun and done with class that isn’t so easy to do. I personally can’t wait to get my hands on the next set of stories.

Guilty Pleasures Volume 3: Guilty Pleasures by Joyce McCarthy was a hot steamy read, that had me hooked.
Not my first read by this author or in this series. I was instantly pulled in by the tease of an opening, and before I knew it I was flipping the steamy pages, while trying not to get too, over heated.
Following Brad and his adventures was a treat. This collection of short yet steamy stories are the perfect mix of smut, hot, quick, and it pulls on fantasies that some of us may have had. It’s a perfect way to escape, get you a little hot under the caller and, looking over your shoulder to make sure no one catches onto what you’re reading. The writing is easy to follow, detail and has a nice rhythm. Overall this book is very well constructed and is worth the pick up and read.
To end this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Oh Lord, Brad is back!! And Holy Hotness once again!
This was once again a quick read without a whole lot of heavy plot, so kind of a nice break from the heavy stories ive been reading lately.
This author definitely excels in this genre and has a no holds barred approach to the writing which makes it fun and quick.
Pick up this book or heck all 3 of the Guilty Pleasures books when you have time and want to read without the major twists and turns and emotions that come with other stories. These are all definitely over age 18 books so don’t leave them lying around LOL
Legacy of Luck Druid’s Brooch Series #3 by Christy Nicholas is a historical fantasy that is full of magic and mystical creatures. The story is fraught with action and drama, adventure and mystery, and lets not forget the danger. All books in this series can be read as standalones. Having been to Ireland and Scotland I found it easy to travel to and imagine the vivid pictures that Christy was painting. I enjoyed this story but to me it was a little slower paced to begin with and took awhile for me to warm up to it. I felt the storyline of the Brooch was missing in this tale and I was a little unsure of some of the characters. There is a little twist towards the end that I did not see.
Travellers Eamonn and Kate are attending a horse fair with their families and Eamonn falls head over heels for Kate but she is forced into an arranged marriage. Thus becomes the journey to save her and have her for himself.
I have read most of the books in this series and am not sure what is left to read but I look forward to finding out.

“The Druid’s Brooch Series” is a a series of books that can be read as standalone stories. The common thread is a brooch that is passed on to family over the course of many generations.
LEGACY OF LUCK is not my favorite of the series. The descriptive writing had me fondly recalling my recent trip to Ireland, but I never connected with the characters.
This is on me, not the author. The story evolves slowly and there is a bit of repetition with events (or dice games) and circumstances. It is a fairly fast read and I will be putting this on my “to be read again list” to see if my opinion changes.

This is the third book of the series but is a standalone. I have enjoyed everyone of these novels they all are written beautifully. While I was reading this novel I felt like I was right there alongside the character’s and I could also visualise everything around them was an amazing experience. Legacy of Luck is the third book in the Druid’s Brooch series. It can be read as a standalone. Having read previous books in this series I can say that this one is just as awesome. The author has a great eye for detail and weaves the story in a way that makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. There are fantasy elements blended with realistic ones and it makes for a believable tale. Despite a few slow places in the story, the overall adventure, drama, and plot twists keep you hooked.
