I really enjoyed reading this book. Paige is an an actor who thinks her part will always be part of the show, then the star does something to endanger their success and put Paige’s part on standby.
She has been interning in the news department, getting coffee and that kind of thing, then Ted sees what she can really do and puts her on his team.
Her Ex (Walker) keeps coming back in the picture and she has met a hockey star (Viktor). Check out the story I think you will like it too.

An enjoyable and engaging YA hockey romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Paige is having a difficult time, her part on a soap opera has been reduced, she breaks up with her wannabe pop star boyfriend, who then writes an album about their relationship, and her family want her to get a ‘real job’. She gets an internship at a TV station in the sports department and meets Viktor a college hockey player. As Paige and Viktor begin falling for one another she learns that he has trust issues from a past relationship, whilst Paige starts questioning her self worth. Despite Paige’s concerns that their worlds are too different their relationship develops. However, when her ex boyfriend Walker turns up Paige must decide what she really needs to be happy and fulfilled. This is a heartwarming romance with plenty of angst and emotion. I loved Paige as I found her to be likeable and relatable. It can be read as a standalone story, but I personally enjoyed book one in the series and am looking forward to book three!

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book that I picked up by her. I enjoy her creative writing style as well as her ability to bring her characters to life. This is a well written story about Chess and Finn. Chess is one that does not date athletes and Finn’s taste in women is not exactly the best. What happens between these two you do not want to miss. They have great chemistry and their attraction is steamy. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which just adds to their story. They are connectable and relatable characters that I had no problem picturing myself being friends with. Their story is fast paced and hard to put down. An engaging romance story that I enjoyed reading. I highly recommend this book.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed reading. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the start by the characters. This is a science fiction romance story that has characters that are hot and steamy. They are connectable characters that make this story easy to read and entertaining as well. This is a well written story about what happens when the other side of the door is not what you expected when you walk through it. The medieval society has a fantasy aspect to it as well. Will this character find themselves along this journey? This is a fast paced, hard to put down story that is engaging and one that you don’t want to miss. There is great growth and the characters had me wanting to know what would happen next. This is a story that I really enjoyed reading and I look forward to seeing the next book as well. I highly recommend this book.

This family really keeps me on my toes! They are all quirky billionaires who have had some trouble in their past. Their family squabbles always keep my turning pages as I never know what will truly happen, especially in the Game Room. In here we meet Salem who is a fixer and Boy does Kellen need to get fixed! I love how the author brings out his deep resentment of a few other characters which help cause him to need Salem. He is argumentative, smart and suave but he has met his match in her. These two together are hot and yet sweet. They have undeniable chemistry and she will not put up with any of his shenanigans! So sparks fly!
I am enjoying this series so far as this is the second. The story moves along at a nice pace and has a good flow. We get a sneak peek of the next and now I can not wait!

This is the Part One of the Planet Amazon series. This was an enjoyable sci-fi adventure with danger, action, secrets, mysteries and romance. The romance element feels a little like fated mates which made it unique in this type of story. The authors world building was great and I really felt I was seeing the actual places that were being described to me. I will admit that I did find it a little hard to get into the story at first however I’m glad I didn’t give up. This is a story about a researcher from Earth called Andrea. When she finds a door that takes her to another plant she realises that she may never been able to return to Earth. As she learns the ways of her new live she finds her mates and finally feels she belongs. This is a story that was interesting and with the war between the planets there was always danger. Andrea trains to become a great warrior like the Amazon’s in the myths which makes it feel even more like fate that she arrives there. This is a interesting start to the series and I look forward to reading more.

What a fantastic read this story was. It captivated me immediately and had to know more. The book followed a well written time line that made sense and the relationships were also done quite well. Andrea worked her entire life to find the lost city of Atlantis. Her interest came from a book she found in the library. She works hard, goes to school and ends up being indispensable. Atlantis was finally found and they did find what they were looking for. Who was going to go through this door unknowing who or what might be on the other side. The government crew she’s with has no idea if anyone would survive going through but Andrea volunteers.
She reaches Atlantis only to find she might be a 40 year old woman on earth but here she’s seems to age in reverse. She finds that this society is ravaged after brutal wars and biological weapons which has taken them back to simpler times. Andrea put her heart into being here and she trained and won the hearts as many as her skills were impeccable. She meets Marcus (who is Lydia’s (the queens) slave but she never keeps one more than 3 months, Andrea feels a spark like nothing she can understand, they become closer with tryst in the woods. However since hes the prize for the upcoming fights, she knows she was to win In the midst of this is Jonne who’s a uncooperative slave. Andrea manages to pull personality from him and find him intelligent and sexy in a way that is opposite to Marcus and Andrea feels she needs both of them to make her whole. Lots of drama, steamy(but not overly done) and a great touch on the lost city of atlantis

All I want is a quiet drink. Guess it is too much to ask. Especially for my ex who will not take a hint when I tell him the seat beside me is taken—by my purse. My gaze snags on the super-hot guy in the reflection behind the bar, the one whose knowing wink should put me off. But my attention keeps straying to him. When football standout Wyatt “Bax” Baxter makes his move, steals the barstool from my purse, and sends my ex on his way, I can’t decide if I’m irritated or intrigued. After I caught my ex cheating, I know better than to trust a man with my heart. Yet when one thing leads to another, Bax becomes the only thing on my mind.
It was supposed to stop at a one-night stand.
Bax is unexpected. I don’t usually date football players. The fact that he listens when I talk is as big a turn-on as his broad shoulders stretching his T-shirt. When we hook up, he rocks my world. But my terrible history with men stops me from giving him my number. One and done, moving on is my motto these days. Though Bax lets me walk away, he refuses to let me go. He finds a way to live rent-free in my head, and to my everlasting shock, I keep seeking him out. Our backgrounds are wildly different. We make no sense together, but I can’t stay away.
She’s out of my league—like that ever stopped me.
Piper Maxwell is the whole sexy package—smart, independent, and the best time I ever had. When I wow the crowd with a pick-six during a big rivalry game, I know exactly where to point the ball—at a purple-haired hottie cheering in the student section. She insists on keeping it casual, but she is too special to let get away. I’m known for my tenacity on the field, something Piper is about to find out extends off the field too.
She thought the game ended in the first quarter, but I play to the final whistle.

I’ve been waiting for this book! At the same time I’ve been busy so I couldn’t jump in right away. Wild King is a great addition to the series. The author wrote an entertaining story that’s very enjoyable with some adventure now. A story that you won’t want to end. A weekend getaway turned into their biggest obstacle. Kellen needed the time away. So when he decided to spend his weekend in a tropical climate, he knew he wanted to find some company. What he didn’t expect was his desire to keep that company around. Salem’s vacation was coming to a close. While trying to enjoy her final night, this man crashes her party. He’s rude and obnoxious, but persistent which is intriguing to her. When she decides to take him up on his offer of a night of no strings fun, she agrees under one condition. They don’t share their names. When their weekend is upended by crisis control back home for Kellen he never thought he’d see her again. Boy was he wrong. Salem is now the fixer that’s been hired to clean up his disaster of a life. Living together for 3 months will be no easy task but Salem is convinced she can keep things professional. Does she cross the line? How does Kellen come out of this? He’s not happy. And she has a plan. However it will cause more questions but the author gives yoi the answers throughout the story. Will Salem tame the wild King?

A three-in-one collection of short stories that center on BDSM in a Dom/Sub relationship setting. These books are guaranteed to pull you in and keep you engaged until they are done. Good stories that are all similar yet different in their own ways. Come along for the adventure and see what happens! I wasn’t real positive what I was getting into when I started reading these but I am glad that I jumped in. I enjoyed them all.

The Rebirth Part 1 (Planet Amazon Series) by Crystal Dawn is a great sci-fi romance series
It resembled going into the rabbit hole. There was nothing on the other side of the entryway that was what she had anticipated. Instead of the modern society she had dreamed for, there was a medieval society where people fought with swords and staffs. She had no route home and was stuck here, which made things worse.
Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. The story really brings us into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.

“Falling for a Star in the City” by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a charming exploration of self-discovery, love, and the pressures of living up to others’ expectations. The novel beautifully portrays Paige’s journey of figuring out what truly makes her happy—whether it’s chasing her acting dreams or settling into something more grounded. Viktor, the college hockey player, provides a refreshing contrast to Paige’s world, offering her a new perspective on relationships and life choices. The story’s balance between Paige’s internal struggles and her evolving relationships keeps readers engaged, rooting for her to find both her purpose and true love. Hager’s writing is both heartfelt and relatable, making this a delightful read for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost in their pursuit of happiness. This is definitely a cozy book that allows ease of reading. So snuggle in and enjoy!

This is the first in this series and sets up the storyline. Andrea has been looking for Atlantis since she was a child and finds it. She goes through a doorway that is really a gate to another planet. Here she becomes the hope of the new planet. Great story! This was well written and is a new spin on the idea of Atlantis!

I like this author. So I couldn’t resist jumping into Falling for a Star in the City. I’m usually a sucker for sports romances but this one I struggled with. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed it but it took a while to actually get into it. So push through if you feel that same way, it’ll be worth it in the end. Paige just had the worst day of her life. A day dealt with nagging and loss. She finally got the acting role she wanted and it’s now permanently on hold. Between that and her grandma being in her head she sends her boyfriend Walker packing. She was done taking care of him. But were they truly done? Will Walker end up back in the picture? Viktor was on his college hockey team. He also is a man dealing with an extreme break up. So when Paige catches his eye it’s unexpected. They get along well but there’s been some misunderstanding that causes them to think there’s an issue with the other. When reality is, they are interested in each other. Will they act on it? Will Walker end up getting in the way? Again I’ll say I struggled at the beginning, but as the story went on I did enjot it!

The Rebirth: Part One: Aliens and Royalty (Planet Amazon Book 1) By Crystal Dawn
I must be honest when I first started to read this book, I did not think it was going to be for me. By the end of the first chapter the storyline had me wanting to know what was next. I like how all the main characters in the book had their own strengths with the females of Amazon being slightly stronger than the men. She is Andrea Stanton, and she has found the doorway to Amazon and has gone through it. On getting through the door Andrea wakes up feeling so dizzy she did not want to open her eyes. Queen Lydia had hit her on the back of her head with a staff. It did not take long for Lydia and Andrea to become close friends in fact over time Andrea became Lydia’s second in command. Andrea noticed Marcus as Lydia was showing her around and was told she could not have him just yet, Andrea has also noticed Jonne, she found herself attracted to both of them on sight. I love how the storylines of the two men that become part of Andreas life are so different, yet they both are a perfect match for her. The storyline continues to build throughout the book and at no time does not hold your attention. What we have in this book is romance, lust, action, and a war between two worlds. I can honestly recommend that this book be read.

I had not read the first book and while this definitely is a standalone story, I absolutely had to go read book 1 as this is an incredible series and I didn’t want to miss anything. I love how detailed the author is with the storyline and descriptions, she paints a vivid story that makes you feel like you are right there with the characters. She has a wide variety of characters, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming keeping track of who is who. I loved the relationship between Claire and Trian, Claire is trying so hard to keep him at arm’s length and Trian is doing everything he can to get her to notice him, without being obvious. Seeing the characters grow and develop, both together and separately was really well done. I loved the mix of the fantasy mixed in with romance, definitely made it a fun read!

Wild King is the second book in the King Brothers Series and is New Adult Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is a Enemies to Lover’s/Billionaire Romance. Kellan is a Bad Boy and he has earned the title fairly. What started out being a three day weekend uninterrupted turns into so much more. Salem should have high tailed for the hills but she allowed herself to be seduced by the bad boy. She thought she was safe not sharing her name but man oh man foes gate have something else in mind. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m ready for more from this Author.

Lady Claire of Chevlain is a young woman who harbours a secret, a curse which impacts heavily on her life and as such, she has struggled to mind a match, however, she does have plenty of options for an arranged marriage. Unfortunately for Claire, her curse is the ability to see the future of those who come into direct contact with her, but the following fatigue and the visions themselves leave her exhausted, especially when they are not the positive kind and so she keeps this ability under wraps.
Trian is a member of the Royal Guard and is very good at his job, but he also harbours a secret, it is Claire, from the first time he met her, he fell hard, even if she has no idea, but he embraces any chance he gets to spend with her. He is also the younger son of a popular family and so needs to pursue his marriage match, especially when it is made clear he has a time limit to convince her to marry him before someone else is arranged for him.
One day, Claire is travelling across the Kingdom to her home of Chevlain and Trian is elated when he is chosen to accompany her as her personal guard and this is where their friendship begins. As they spend more time together, they learn a lot, both factual and familial and the more time that they spend together, the closer they become, especially when Claire discovers that her visions are quiet when he is around and this is a godsend.
Unfortunately for the two, just as they are falling further for each other, their group is attacked and Trian is badly injured, the motive for the attack becomes clear when Claire is kidnapped and taken to the rival land of Nifolhad. As she is kept captive, the only people she can rely on are the women of the Fenhri Temple as they hold information and teachings that Claire is supremely interested in, as well as thoughts of Trian. Will she be able to escape the court intrigue and dangers which surround her in this opposing court to her own, or will she escape and return to her homeland and hopefully her love waiting for her? This is an epic fantasy with a romantic undertone where emotions run high, intrigue abounds and life is complicated as you follow the lives of those within this fantastical tale.

Kelleher – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.
This is a great book and my first read from this author. I did not want to put this book down and was totally drawn to the characters of Reaper and Avi. Can I say, I LOVE a strong willed, kick butt female character and Avi was it! Reaper had my heart…a hero in my eyes and loving the challenge of a strong woman. When two people meet with different pasts…one looking for a better life and thinking family was everything and the other getting over physical wounds and also a bit of a broken heart, this leads to a great, fast paced story with plenty of drama, danger, greed with sacrifice, the true meaning of family and plenty of love.
I loved this story of Reaper and Avi…and looking forward to reading more from this talented author.

The Rebirth: Part One is Book #1 in the Planet Amazon series by Crystal Dawn. It is a sci-fi romance with plenty of action, adventure, danger, agendas, high stakes, intrigue, mystery, and more. While also being a bit of a journey of discovery/self-discovery. There is a fate, predestined feel to the adventure/romance- soul mates finally finding each other. The story has a bit of a Stargate Atlantis x Zena Warrior Princess vibe. The author has given her own spin on the whole Atlantis and Amazonian mythology. The world-building was intriguing, and this story should have ticked all the boxes for me as it is a genre I normally love. But unfortunately, I just couldn’t connect with the story or the characters, and therefore I was unable to fully invest in the characters or the outcome of the story. I will put this aside to read again before continuing on with the series- as maybe I was just having an ‘off ‘reading day with this book. So, stay tuned… Happy Reading…

I always jump at any stories this author has because I know I will really enjoy them and this one was no exception. This is a MM Romance. It is a second chance small town romance with danger and Suspense inside. It is definately a page turner. Elijah has moved with his son after problems in his past. Now he’s starting again and isn’t planning on a relationship or romance until he meets his neighbour Jude. Jude is struggling with coming to terms with his past after losing his husband. So far he has his work and the bottle keeping him going but that all changes when he meets Elijah and his son. But things aren’t going to be plain sailing and when something from Elijah’s past returns threatening his and his sons safety, Jude is going to use all his skills and training to protect the new man in his life.
S Courtney is a romance author whose motto is “Love Worth Dying For” There’s always a little (lot) of bloodshed for the happily ever after/for now. Her love of writing began in middle school after hours writing until bedtime letting her imagination run wild.
With that imagination she has created her paranormal series, the Bound Series with strong but caring Alphas and independent women with big ambitions and a little magic! And a look inside the tough job of reaping souls to the Underworld in Sandman.
She also tapped into the dark world of motorcycle clubs and the secret life of an mercenary with a curiosity.
She looks forward to writing into other tropes, such as even darker romance, mafia, and sweet almost insta-love.

Kelleher – Review by Charlisa Wahtomy-Alba
This book makes a magnificent second installment of the Heart & Hand Series! The first book in the series was wonderful and yet somehow, the author surpassed themselves with this continuation. It is the perfect fantasy romance with Lady Claire and Trian as our main characters. Lady Claire is such a strong, intelligent female lead that goes through multiple trials and tribulations as she develops into someone I admire! Trian has inevitably fallen in the deepest love with her, but will he be able to break through the walls she has put up? I highly recommend picking up the first book in the series before starting this one. If you love the fantasy romance genre, this is right up your alley! I am beyond excited to pick up the next book in the series. Don’t pass this one up!
