Lady Claire has the gift of seeing a person’s future. This happens when she comes into contact with another via touch and it does hinder her by knocking her unconscious. This is an embarrassment not only for her but her family so she tries to spend as little time as possible in big crowds. While on a journey across the realm she is kidnapped by a group who has mistaken her for her sister. If she ever wants to see Aurelia and those she loves again she must embrace the gift that she sees as a curse.
