This is such an enjoyable book! I love the characters of Hollis and Cash. They have a very interesting relationship. Cash runs a family brewery and his family is far from simple. The last thing he wants is not get along with the neighbor and risk losing the brewery. They engage in a prank war, which was not my favorite part of the story. However, I really love their banter. It kept me reading long past my bedtime because i wanted to see what was going to come of it. I also loved Cash’s family. I am a sucker for a story with a big crazy family. Plus this gives off major small town vibes. I absolutely love this. It was my first book by Sylive Stwart but it definitely won’t be my last. She is now on my authors I need more of list and I will be reading all her past and future books!

Sylvie had me at the books title – Ale’s Fair in Love and War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance. It is a standalone steamy Rom Com and is the first book in the Love on Tap series that promises good things. Sylvie has become a favourite author. I enjoy her work because they are an easy, light and fun read. This enemies-to-lovers romance will find yourself laughing out loud at the sassy and snarky antics and banter and find yourself loving each and every one of these crazy and quirky characters, flawed or not they are family. It is a quick read that is told in several POV’s, which I love. The main characters are cute as they push and pull and dance around one another. What do you do when your neighbour is a pain in your ar$e but is hot as hell? Well, you sit back and watch the sparks fly……… With a big crazy family that are hilarious and lots of chemistry what could go wrong? If only they can get on the same page.
This is a fun, sweet, humorous and steamy entertaining read!

This author never disappoints! Viviana was on a mission for vengeance for her friend. Nothing would stand in her way. Nazario was on a mission to kill his father, but he would need to stop her from doing before he was ready. She should hate the son of her enemy and she did, but there is a fine line between love and hate. Would they come together or destroy each other?
Even before starting to read it, this book ticked all the boxes for me. Enemies-to-lover? Yes. Pranks and hilarity? Yes. Fun and relatable characters? Yes. As soon as I started this book I could not put it down. It is described as “your next weekend read” but I devoured this book in the space of an afternoon. It was such fun from start to finish, entertaining and hilarious. And yet, the author managed to strike the balance between that and a credible storyline. I have read a few books by this author and I love how each and everyone of them is different. This is easily the most fun and the banter between the characters was amazing. I loved this book and already cannot wait to read it again.

An enjoyable and engaging romantic comedy which kept me happily turning the pages. I love the main characters, Cash and Hollis who are both likeable and relatable characters with plenty of chemistry. Cash runs his family’s brewery and Hollis is a dog groomer and they are neighbours, the worst neighbours, this is an enemies to lovers romance. The pair have plenty of banter between them and they like to play pranks on one another, but when Cash thinks Hollis has gone too far, he’s willing to play dirty to save his business. This is a fun, lighthearted story with plenty of laugh out loud moments, but also full of emotion and of course romance. The couples sizzling chemistry leads to some rather steamy scenes, and I was cheering them on to a HEA.

This was such a beautifully written story, I really did enjoy it. The characters were well written and were likeable. Dean and Rae were both great characters to read about, their first encounter actually made me chuckle – Dean was not impressed but there was so clearly an instant attraction between them. They both had past issues that was preventing them both from even contemplating a relationship but I was desperately rooting for them both the whole way through the book. I think Rae was definitely my favourite character, she had such a wonderful personality and was so full of confidence and independence – I just loved her! Overall a lovely read that is well written. I would definitely recommend it to other readers.

I always get excited when I see a new book from this author as I have read and enjoyed so many of hers and this was no exception. I will admit with was a dark romance read but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well written with a great pace and flow to it. I loved the twists and turns and the characters were great to read about. This had a really gritty storyline that kept me turning the pages so I could see what was going to happen. The characters Nazario and Viviano were both really strong – I found them really interesting to read about especially Nazario – he was certainly different to what I expected! I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy the romance on the darker side! You won’t be disappointed!
I love this author so much! Her stories are so much fun to read and this new release from her was just amazing! I loved every minute of it and is definitely one of my favourite reads of 2023 so far! I loved the banter between Hollis and Cash – I’m pretty sure if they were younger they would pushing each other over in the playground and pulling each other’s hair! They had an undeniable amount of chemistry between them but hated each other equally! There were a lot of laugh out loud moments especially between the two main characters which made it very entertaining to read! I am really looking forward to the next book in this series!

Although some moments were entertaining and made me laugh, I felt there was no story here. I thought it was weird the author starts our female character out as a nine year old who cries everyday because she hasn’t seen “her boys.” It had me questioning her sanity. What really disappointed me was that we don’t see the three of them with a real friendship, and it’s not because they’re only dreaming of each other. I’m talking about the only interaction we see is the boys getting mad at her over ridiculous things. They yell at her for no reason and that’s a red flag. Another red flag is one of them punching the wall because she wants to be with someone “real.” And she has to apologize to them! The story does start to become steamy, and the characters begin to feel like there is some chemistry. Our female character starts to develop nightmares, which felt random, and the drama to go with it was barely there and made no sense. Overall the book just didn’t flow and for me felt all over the place since there was no real plot to the story.

This book was an ok read for me. I had a rough time getting into the book particularly the setting and the conversation between the characters hit me wrong. I thought the chemistry was good. This story had me giggling so much. Hollis and Cash are just meant for each other, if they can get over the prank war. I found their chemistry “sparkling” to say the least. Like Cash had shot a “load of sparkle” all over. This is one of the best contemporary romances I’ve read this year. The humor, drama, mystery with the other brothers and the excitiement between the two businesses made for some great reading. I couldn’t put it down. These two had “it” straight off from the start. It was fun watching them work through trust issues. Exciting writing, characters that felt like friends, you have to read this one. I can’t wait for the next book.

Such a beautiful story of two people set in their own way, finding a love beyond their imagination. Dean had a plan for his life that included marriage and family. When he is left at the altar, he walls himself off from being hurt like that again. Rae has her own reasons for avoiding love. These two must find it in themselves to let go of the past to move on to a live worth finding.

This was a great read. I have enjoyed everything this author had written in the past and this was no different. This story is very dark as well as steamy. What I love about the characters is just when you think you have them figured out you realise you don’t at all. The attraction and chemistry between Nazario and Viviana is strong and instant. Viviana is a strong female until she is with Nazario the she becomes so submissive to him. Viviana is a big surprise in this story. Nazario is a hard character to figure out, one minute I loved him and the next I hated him. One things for sure once you meet these characters you never forget them.
Viviana is set on a course for revenge. After Nazario’s father kills her friend Viviana will stop at nothing to make sure he pays. Even if that means pretending to be his mistress. All she thinks about is revenge until something gets in her way Nazario. Nazario wants his father gone too but at his hand. He knows how much he stands to gain from his father demise but also how much danger Viviana is in even trying to get revenge herself. Will they work together to rid the world or his father or will Viviana be hell bent on doing this her way? And what happens when his father is gone? Will they live HEA? Or will the new found power go straight to Nazario’s head? Will getting revenge against his father help Viviana heal or will it send her down a road she can’t escape from?
This story has it all, danger, secrets, lies, passion, revenge, and is a story you will not be able to put down or forget.
This was my first book by this author. I almost didn’t get it because of how long it is, but it sounded so interesting that I really wanted to read it. I’m glad I did! It was a fast read for me. To me it was very realistic and I got attached to Fenimore’s character from page one. This story is very well written. I definitely recommend giving this book a chance, despite its length.

My emotions were riding a roller coaster in this novel. Simon is a good guy at heart, but his obsession with becoming a notorious outlaw gang member soon becomes something he dreads once he’s in Red’s gang. By the time he figures out it’s not what he wants, the bonds of friendships can’t be broken. Simon romanticizes what being in the gang is supposed to be like and things go sideways regularly. The daily danger and close quarters fuels a lot of emotions including feelings for one of his fellow outlaws. A relationship with another man is as dangerous as being an outlaw.
There is someone murdering gang members and leaving messages with the bodies. There were times I thought I knew who was killing the members of Red’s gang. The ending was surprising as to who the killer was! The Man In Black is an LGBT thriller and mystery that contains some violence, occasional foul language, and adult sexual situations.

Echoing Hearts is the first book of this series by C.R. Alam. This is a book that I was not able to put down.Rae Allen and Dean Rowland are both set in their ways, but a thrown into each other’s lives. Both Rae and Dean have past hurts that act as hurdles in the path of their story. There were many times that I could identify with Dean because of the twists and turns that life has thrown. This is not your typical romance story where a girl meets a boy and they instantly fall in love. Each Rae and Dean have their own baggage that causes twists and turns throughout the book. I am looking forward to reading the second book.

While not really the type of book I’m drawn to, L. R. Liverpool’s Western, Romance, Thriller, The Man in Black, truly caught me by surprise. The book is rather lengthy (just shy of 900 pages) and starts out a little too slowly for my taste. I felt like some of the story could be condensed down and still have been just as effective. However, if amazingly detailed world-building coupled with surprisingly realistic, lovable characters is what you go for, this is a good read for you. There are a few heavier topics touched on in this book such as MM relationships, violence, and adult situations. Overall, The Man in Black flowed well and was fairly entertaining. I found myself feeling emotions along with the characters, celebrating triumphs, and rooting for their success in the dark of failure.

What a great read! The book had my attention from the start. Loved the characters and had no problem connecting to their life, friends, and emotions. Great world building by the author, not only in New York City and other locations around the world.
Amy and Dean don’t seem to get along at the beginning but man their connection soon brings you to smile and be frustrated for what they’re going through. Oh how ones experiences can twist our perceptions and change us in ways we don’t expect.
I loved this story and I’m looking forward to reading more books by this author. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was a really good book! I was drawn in immediately from thr first chapter. The chapters were a little long in some spots that I didn’t like a lot (I’m not a big fan of long chapters and this book 800+ pages) but it honestly felt like it was flying by just because it was do well written. I felt like I was right there in the story! This was a fantastic book and I highly recommend it especially if you’re a person who like LGBTQ+ stories!

Fenimore was the son of a farmer but always dreamed of becoming more. Having read a lot of articles about famous outlaws, Fenimore decided that it’s the life he always dreamed of. He set off on his adventure of finding a gang and becoming famous as well, changing his name to Simon Shaw.
Time goes by when he meets Red Evans and his gang. Simon is invited to join the gang and doesn’t hesitate. Quickly he learns that life as an outlaw is nothing like he imagined. He thought it was all adventure and riches, never taking into account it also included murders and life on the run. On top of that revelation, he also is questioning his sexuality. Simon started developing feelings for Red’s second in command, Monty.
Killings among the crew start happening and it is a mystery as to who is doing it. The killer is always one step ahead of the gang causing Red to start losing his marbles thinking that he has a rat within his own men. Simon starts regretting this whole thing but it’s too late to tuck tail and go home especially when he could be the next victim.
I have to say that this book has so much going on within that I am finding it difficult to put into words. I usually hate reading anything of the Western style but the other going ons in the synopsis intrigued me. Even though to me Westerns are boring, this one was not. There was romance, mystery, murder, and it delved into darker topics like racism, homophobia, possible rape etc. It was packed full to the brim with different topics.
My only issues with this book are that the author kept switching from first name basis to last name basis of the characters that I found it a bit difficult to keep track of who’s who. The second issue is the book is divided into 3 parts and part 1 felt like it was dragging on too long before anything of importance happened. Once I started in part 2, the plot started to speed up and get more exciting.

This novella is amazing. I am developing quite a love for historical fiction, especially those stories that deal with the harder parts of history with a kind eye and empathy. This story definitely fits that description. The main characters in this story are Jo and Dusty. Jo is a young black maid who is running away scared for her life. Her mistress has accused her of a murder she did not commit. She runs to the only person she feels can help her – a 40 year old white cowboy. Dusty and Jo have always felt a mutual attraction but they have never acted on it. I truly enjoyed watching how they interacted and how Jo trusted Dusty. I definitely recommend this story!

I truly loved this book! This features two strong characters who acted with integrity. It features the president of the United States who has just been widowed and in losing his wife he also lost his unborn child. He has a secret service agent who is assigned to protect him. She is developing feelings for him. However, she doesn’t know if the President feels the same way. There are still very valid threats against the president’s life and the more time they spend together the more neither of them cannot deny their feelings. This book combines romance with suspense. I love how well it is written and how developed the characters are. I definitely recommend this book and I love that it combines genres!

I am always so excited to pick up a book by this author and I was equally excited for the second book in this series. I loved the characters as soon as I started reading. They connection was undeniable, no matter how much they wished it weren’t. I found them to be engaging and entertaining, adding so much to the overall story. This book is everything I have come to expect from this author. It is well written, a great story and just an overall amazing read. It pulled me in straight away and I got lost in the story and the characters. This is yet another fantastic book from an incredible author and I cannot wait for the next book.

Wow I loved this one! It had everything! Humour, romance, hot sex, a definite page turner. This follows Charlie, Cole and Maddie as they meet in their dreams. Over the years and the continued dreams they come to form a very close bond. Each thinks they are just dreaming and that the other 2 aren’t real but they are all real people in separate parts of the country. But once they find each other then the real fun begins! It’s so good and I couldn’t put this down. Highly recommend it!

My complete opinion is this story just seemed a little unrealistic. But put that aside, the character perspectives were written well. I didn’t really like Elyse because I felt she was a bit trashy and out for an easy target. She really didn’t focus on Becky as she should have.
Shameless Love is the second book in KG Fletcher’s The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. The story alternates between the views of Walter Bennett and Elyse Farrell. Walter Bennett has moved into the Kirby residence after purchasing the property from Mrs. Kirby. Glen Kirby, her son, still blamed Walter’s brother, Ted, for the death of his brother, Joe. Something subconsciously makes Walt take extra precautions while he is at his new home. While Becky is visiting Walter, a cat shows up, and its collar shows it belongs to Mrs. Kirby. Walt names the cat Garth.
Elyse Farrell and Albert Tompkins have come from Atlanta to ask Becky if she would like to do a screen test. Becky is unsure if she wants to go alone. Elyse offers to hire an assistant for Becky, but Walter states that he will accompany her. Elyse manages to schedule Becky and Walt before New Year’s Eve. She has her eyes on Walt, hoping to catch his attention as well.
After Walt and Elyse both acknowledge their attraction to each other, they end up spending the New Year’s Eve weekend together. Things don’t work smoothly when Becky is dressed professionally and the camera crew zooms in on her cleavage. Walt punches one of the cameramen. Becky decides she isn’t going to continue with the screen test because she isn’t comfortable with the circumstances. Elyse shut Walt out and refused to acknowledge their potential relationship.
