Maddie starts having a refuting nightmare of someone in a hoodie pointing a gun at one of the guys.
I am a sucker for dream meetings where the people are actually in real and the two meet outside of dreams.
The reason behind them meeting in their dreams is stated but I don’t think it was ever clear who the person with the hun was and why the were targeting Maddie.
I generally stay away from ménage à trois MFM romances but I could turn away a premise like this.

I have really enjoyed the Anderson sisters series both books were quick easy reads with great characters and unique stories to each of the girls. Each book can be read as a standalone so the order doesn’t really matter. Just pick a book and enjoy!

She is still out there building an army to take them down, but will she be successful? Or will they find her before any more damage is done? This books, as well as the others, can be read as a stand alone however there are some parts that make more sense when reading them in order. L.R. Liverpool’s book The Man In Black was such an excellent read, I was so enthralled with all the excitement and mystery of this awesome book. I love the characters that are developed with such fine details, I grew to love and hate them. I was fearful of losing my favorite characters to the mysterious killer, and was cheering for the gift of love for our main character! When Fenimore James announces at the beginning of the novel that he was going to leave his quiet life as a farmer’s son I was intrigued by what path he was going to choose for his new life. When he took all of the money he had been working for and saving to take off and achieve his life’s dream of joining a gang of thieves I was a bit shocked. Fenimore proceeded to change his style of clothing dressing in all black, except a nice white dress shirt, all of which he had tailor-made for himself, I was worried he had spent his life earnings, but apparently, he still had plenty at the moment to travel on. Fenimore even went as far as changing his hair while awaiting the completion of his suit. Once Fenimore was all dressed to go, he changed his name to Simon Shaw, a more dastardly name to be feared. Then we went on his search to find a gang of thieves to join. In a bar during his travels, he heard talk of a fearful group of bandits called the Red Evans gang. Simon considered his options of going home to marry a local woman, even though he did not feel attracted to women like most of the men his age, or seeking out this gang and joining up. Simon decided his fate and off he went to find the Red Evans gang. In a surprising twist Simon not only met and befriended Red Evans himself in a big city bar, but he accidentally saved Red’s life. This led to Red inviting Simon to come and join his gang. You’ll have to read the story to follow along with the exciting and frightening events that Simon goes through as he grows to be a man who finds love in a place he never thought to look for it. This was a good 4 star read. I really liked Maddie, Cole and Charlie. For years Maddie would dream about two men, little did she know that her dream would become a reality. The guys were also excited to finally find Maddie. Can they have a HEA? Will they be able to protect Maddie? This was a fun steamy read. The author pulled you right in with her writing. Maddie, Cole and Charlie have a once in a lifetime if we’re lucky bond with one another. They have watched one another grow up over fifteen years but only in their dreams until dreams become reality.
This was an interesting and steamy story about soul mates. There were some incredibly hot moments that required me to take a minute before I hopped back in to see what would happen next.
I look forward to reading more by Ms. Kincaid in the future.

Deadly Intentions by Anise Storm is a dark romantic suspense with a quest for revenge, mafia ties, drama, secrets, violence, danger, intrigue, agendas, angst, intensity, steam, emotion, chemistry, sizzle, and suspense. A quest for revenge turns out to be far more complicated than Viviana had planned, especially when feelings get in the way. What happens makes for a tense read. I really wanted to love this story so much more than I did, as Ms. Anise normally delivers a captivating read… and for a while there I thought I might love this. But along the way I fell out of ‘like’ with our MC, and he left me feeling conflicted- not in a good way. Then there were the flashbacks and re-recaps that rehashed details that we already knew, pulling me out of the story and breaking the flow, which frustrated me to death. Maybe I have just had an ‘off’ reading experience here- and I certainly won’t hold this against the author, as she has written some great stories. I am curious to see what she does next… Happy Reading…

A slow start but good read that surrounds two heart warming characters whom being at odds with one another. Being on completely different sides of the narrative while sharing a joint loss brings them together and closer than they thought possible. It deals with grief, love, and drama, and overall a good read. This book focused on development of both characters and story more than excitement and drive, so it was a hard start but good finish.

Even whilst these charming characters were in straight up denial, their chemistry was palpable. It was quite fun reading the spicy dynamic between these new lovers. Each of their personalities are so genuine and quirky and unique, which kept the reader engaged. I love entering a newly created fictional world, knowing there is more to come in upcoming books with some of our favorite characters. On to the next!

I’d highly recommend this book for readers in search of testing their interests in polyamorous relationships. This is a beautiful take on such a taboo subject. I love that the author took a romantic take, rather than just a physical one. The characters have clear chemistry from the beginning, but was sweet to see their confidence as a throuple grow all the way to the end. Great read.

This is the first book I have read by the talented Sylvia Black, and I was hooked before I read the first page. Growing up I was always drawn to vampires, shifters and magic and this book has it all. From the dual perspectives of Master Calabrea and Tansia this book is an adventure to prevent a war within the factions, to protect the civilized world the vampires have created. Master Calabrea is one of twelve consulate masters, each running their own region of the world where vampire history is entrenched the most. Calabrea’s region is the southernmost tip of Italy. A traitor, Isala is turning others from all factions against the current order, and ruler Overmaster Descallia. The world knows about vampires openly but there is order, no attacks on humans for feeding all factions cohabitate the world together. Isala is against this order and misses the old ways. Tansia is a human from the states and after a nasty breakup is finally taking charge of her life with the help of her cousin Embry. New place, new start. Moving to Italy her cousin has already found her a job at one of the Descallia Clubs as a server. Only she didn’t find her one job but two, the Overmaster has a mission to hunt down Isala and bring her in alive to question but finding her requires a special ops team. Tansia is very skilled in several languages and thus recruited as a translator for Calabrea’s team, she agrees but quickly questions herself on what she has just agreed to. With unexplainable desire between Master Calabrea and Tansia this adventure as a steamy undertone from the beginning, and with both of their pasts you wish them all the happiness they can find. After visiting a witch Tansia is informed that she has the power of sight, that it runs in her family and quickly learns that its true. Giving into their passion Calabrea and Tansia feel an undeniable connection that helps fuel their need to protect each other. What does Tansia’s powers mean? Are they truly the duo the Vade Mecum speaks of? Will they find their happily ever after, together? The beautiful world the author creates pulls you in with every word. I felt emersed in the story feeling for the characters and hoping for a happy ending. The characters a well-rounded with different sides and realistic responses to the trails of their mission. My heart……..this was a really good story with romance and heartache….I thought the first book in this series got me a bit….this one got me as well and took me on another roller-coaster of emotion. I love becoming enveloped in a story that just full of emotion and some raw moments.
Both Grace and Ryan have had such loss in their lives. Grace loses her best friend and Ryan loses his brother to suicide. Grace is trying to keep it together, with not only losing her best friend, but the threat of her family farm as well. When Ryan loses his brother and feeling at fault, he leaves and decides to go in business…no strings nor attachments. When opportunity knocks and Ryan comes back to sell his mom’s farm, Ryan also tries to buy part of Grace’s land. Will both Ryan and Grace come to terms not only in regards to the farmland but their hearts?

I thoroughly enjoyed book six in this explosive series about vampires, humans, wolves, and witches. The author did a great job of doing a subtle recap for readers who have not read the previous books in the series. It absolutely helps to have read them, but it can be read as a standalone as well. The attraction between Calabrea and Tansia was immediate and according to the Vade Mecum, the vampire’s guide and rules for the past, present, and future, it was fate. Tansia was a stellar heroine, who was strong and able to hold her own, while still being vulnerable. Calabrea was a dark and sexy vampire, who also had his moments of vulnerability that made him all the more appealing. Not only was the story steamy as all, the story line of trying to track down the rogues who are trying to take down the vampires, continues to heat up. It sounds like there will be 12 stories planned for the series, and if that is the case, I am so excited to see where the story line will go and which characters will take center stage as they fight to preserve their way of life.

I have never been disappointed by Sylvia Black, and Master Calabrea doesn’t disappoint! I love paranormal everything, so this series has been perfect! The chemistry throughout this book is sizzling and steamy. I couldn’t read fast enough but somehow got to the end far too soon. Master Calabrea is leading a hunt for a terrible enemy of his vampire community. When he’s partnered with Tansia, who is known to have visions and powers, will they work successfully together or be the end of each other? I’m ready for the next book to see what the author has in store for us! I highly recommend not only this book, but the entire series. You should absolutely give it a whirl because if you remotely like anything to do with vampires and paranormal romance, you will fall in love with these!

Meeting Cole and Charlie in her dreams at the age of nine. Maddie’s best friends who she ends up falling in love with as she gets older. Imagine her surprise when she meets them in person. Though it has it’s paranormal aspects it intrigues me as those relationships are a lot more common now. I highly recommend this book especially if your open minded.

This is Book 6 of the Masters of the Consulate. Even though it is the 6th book it can be read alone without confusion as to what the other books were about. That being said, reading in order does help to build a nuance that you’ll miss otherwise. In this book Calabrea is given a team to help track down and bring in a traitor. On this team is Tansia, a psychic who has her own issues from the past that she is working through while getting drawn deeper and deeper into the world of pure bloods vs the traitors. When she’s attacked and left for dead she and Master Calabrea are faced with decisions that are life altering decision (literally).

This story was enjoyable and definitely tug at my heart strings……with romance, drama, grief and secrets. When Ella’s sister passes away, Ella now becomes the guardian of her niece, Tessa. Ella navigates raising Tessa and trying to work and support her. When legal matters approach Ella with being Tessa’s guardian, Lawyer Jake Taylor just wants what is best for his family while being very leary of Ella and Tessa. All Jake wants to do is protect the hearts of his aunt and uncle, whom after meeting Tessa fall in love with their little grandchild. But as Jake gets to know Ella…will Jake do what is best for both his family and for Tessa and Ella as he also navigates feelings for Ella?
This story was a roller-coaster of emotions for sure….and definitely full of secrets. I loved the little bit of slow burn between Jake and Ella. Definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

Echoing Hearts is book one in CR Alam’s The Echo Series. Dean and Rae were quite the interesting pair. Though they were both stubborn, they were also scared and just wanted to be loved – even if they didn’t seem as if they did. Though Dean felt dry in a romance novel aspect, he felt real, like someone I would or could know. Rae was the sunshine in your cloudy day and always the positive one. I loved that about her character. I felt as though I truly got to know the couple as individuals. It made the story that much better. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

This was an amazing read that filled me with so many emotions! I did not read the first book in the series, but after reading this one I will definitely pick it up to start from the very beginning. Grace lost her very best friend to suicide, which is heart-wrenching all in itself. The loss of her friend hits her terribly hard (understandably) but then she is faced with a difficult task; buy her parents out much earlier than she has planned, or lose their family farm altogether. Ryan enters the picture with some solutions, some a few demons, and an insane chemistry with Grace. Will they end up being a great team, or will their decisions alter their life for the worse? I highly recommend this astonishing, emotionally charged book. I’m heading to pickup the first in the series right now!

Sylvia Black’s book Master Calabrea (Masters of the Consulate Book 6) was a thrilling romance book! If you love books with vampires, witches, human warriors, villainous rogues, and wolves, this book is for you. Two main characters we get acquainted with include Tansia the human warrior, and Master Calabrea the vampire master. We also get to know their friends and companions: Embry, Lucianna, Lucas, Overmaster Descallia, Raven, Angel, Roman and so many more. We wouldn’t want to leave out the not-so-friendly characters in the book including Isala (Lucianna’s sister), and Sierra (Master Calabrea’s jealous ex). This book starts right out and takes you on a journey to find the illustrious Isala, who is luring other affiliates from all the different groups to join her to overthrow the vampires. Will the vampires be able to work together with members of the other groups or will they find out that they can trust no one? What’s up with the fire burning between Tansia and Master Calabrea who just met for the first time at the beginning of the book? Will these two continue to ignore their attraction or will Tansia’s humanity be too much for Master Calabrea’s vampiric ways? How does Sierra react to the obvious attraction these two have for one another, you’ll have to read the book to find out these answers and more.

This is a Historical BWWM and my first by this author. It’s about Jo a servant falsely accused of killing her master and Dusty a very grumpy cowboy. It’s a sweet and slow burn read. Definitely interesting if you like Historical Romance. Going to give the other books in the series a try.

Find out in The White Knight Cowboy. This short story is full of loveable characters and relatable emotions. It is a quick read and a sultry romance. I do feel as though it was missing something, which is why I did not give it 5-stars, I just cannot put my finger on to what it is missing. Overall, I enjoyed The White Knight Cowboy. If you are looking for a quick romance, give this short story a try.

This is the first book in the Made in Heaven series. What a way to start. The characters were very relatable and real. I loved the way the paranormal was brought into this story. The way the characters meet is so unique. Maddie, Cole and Charlie compliment each other so well. The suspense in the book also kept those pages moving. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Echoing Hearts was a good romance book. It starts with Dean, a successful, handsome, CEO, getting stood up at the altar. Then three years later, he is a changed man who is just walking through life. Rae, is a renowned travel blogger who is asked to go do a piece for Home Magazine on a house in the south. Rae does not know who the house belongs to and seems confused when she pulls up to an empty house, however, it actually isn’t empty when she stumbles upon a sexy man doing laps in the pool. Their meeting was rocky, he didn’t want to be disturbed, and she told him how it is. They quickly however learned to tolerate each other for that short weekend Rae would be doing the piece. Months later Rae is attending an event for her BFF Brandon who fronts a band – Dean happens to own the company that signed the band. The two have sporadically thought about each other, but due to the rocky start were intimidated about running into one another. However, the two do meet and begin a friendship. This quickly turns into something else but you have two individuals not wanting or not “available” for a relationship. Rae doesn’t believe in love and Dean is still “dealing” with being left at the altar. Can the two of them find a middle ground to further their friendship and get over their pasts? As I stated before, the book was cute. The banter between the characters was on point. The book was a little longer but the chapters went quickly. Rae is an independent, straight shooter. Dean is a stuffy, misunderstood, heartbroken man, but at the same time has an air about him. The two complimented each other well. However, as a 40-year-old woman, I am getting tired of the “miscommunication” romance. The book seems to have a lot of moments where if you just say something and listen carefully, the drama could be avoided, but I guess we live for the drama. I did like how you could feel the change in both characters and the love jumping off the page. I will be interested in reading the next book in the series.

Here’s a vampire story with not much graphic vampire action. Some romance and angst, lots of action and adventure. And for me, lots of questions.
This is book six! in this series. Yes 6! There were times when I knew there was more to the situation, characters that had a past, something lingering. This story ends in a cliff hanger so there’s more coming, which is a good thing. I look forward to reading the first 6 stories to see why the Masters are chasing Isala, who or what are the Descallia, who are the syndicate and why do they seem to be the “elders” but also the troublemakers? I look forward to reading the next story too, so I can find out what happens with Tansia, she has things going on and discoveries happening but there is more for her!
The writing is strong, and I can tell this series is good. I definitely advise reading this series in order.
