The Man In Black by L.R. Liverpool is a story like no other. The story starts a little slow for my taste but once it picks up the pace it gets interesting. This Western story will take you on a ride full of action and sexy moments. Pretty good story if you are interested in Western thrillers, action and MM Romance. Make sure to read the warnings beforehand.

This book has you all in your feels from the very beginning and keeps you guessing until the very end. There are things that could possibly trigger you so beware of that. It is very well written and it has such a relatable strong heroine. It has the boy that everyone loves to hate and hates to love. It is definitely worth a read.

The heat between Jake and Nolan was off the chart. There was no way their steamy encounter could last one night. Nolan who was trying to blow off steam before life changed and Jake who was running away from her own life. This was a fantastic quick read. I can’t wait to continue reading what this author comes up with.

The depth of each character was dripping from the pages. I went through every trial and tribulation, happiness, deep revenge and so so much more. I’d love to read about these characters again and see where the authors take them.
Dominic has gone from the wrong side of the tracks to a highly influential business man. He has one thing on this mind and that is revenge. He won’t stop until he gets it. His one love Juliana is gone and assumed dead but no body has ever been found. Dominic finds himself in jail for her murder.
A twist of fate has Whitney Green, a marketing agent, in the sights of Dominic when they accidentally cross paths. Whitney is dealing with some unexplained phenomena. She is hearing a voice in her head.
This story will keep you reading and won’t lose your interest at all. Please make a book 2.

This is the first book I have read from this author. I love a good small town romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book in the Anderson sisters series. It could be read as a standalone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I could not put this book down. These characters drew me in from the first chapter. It only took me a little over a day to devour this amazing story.
Grace Anderson is the town’s cheese maker. She loves what she does. Grace is told that her parents have to leave due to mom’s health and wellbeing. She has three weeks to get the money for the farm or they will have to sell it. Grace wants to do this all on her own but Ryan Wilson wants some of her land. She can’t stand him because of the past but they need to put their differences aside to save the farm. Will Grace be able to save the farm or will it fall into the wrong hands?

I picked to read this book based on the synopsis and I’m kind of happy I picked it. I read a lot and like to mix up genres so things don’t get stale. I’m positive this book will surprise you.
Dominic is from the guy from the “wrong side of the tracks” who falls in love with Juliana Rutherford, a girl from an affluent family. When Juliana goes missing, her father accuses Dominic and put in jail even though Dominic had nothing to do with Juliana going missing. What will Dominic do once he is out of jail and working on revenge?
The authors did a great job of world building. The story kept my attention with the twists and turns. There is drama, revenge, and so much more. The characters are well written too and in an odd way, it was easy to connect with them.
It was good to read a different kind of “romance” book to read for a change. Hope you like it too.

It’s hard to believe that this is the debut novel for L.R. Liverpool because this is a bombshell of a read! I was captivated from the first chapter and couldn’t read fast enough to see what happened next. I thoroughly enjoyed the mixture of drama, suspense, romance, and mystery all told from a memoir kind of perspective. The author has a great gift of making you feel for each character and really see through their eyes. There is great detail in building this world and each character which I absolutely loved. Fenimore leaves home and joins the well-known Red Evans gang to be an outlaw. Once he’s in the gang he realizes something is amiss as members are murdered in cold blood. Fenimore also begins to have romantic feelings for another member of his gang which doesn’t make his life any simpler. I loved this book and highly recommend picking it up to get lost in this amazing world the author has crafted!

This book is absolutely dark and twisted. Dominic loves Juliana and only wants to give her the world but on the night of one of their worst fights she disappears and her dad convinces everyone that Dominic is the one that had her killed. Dominic bets on himself and wins his verdict of not guilty though having spent years behind bars and he comes out a hate filled man bent on revenge.
Just when it seems everything is falling into place for his revenge on Grant Juliana’s father, the man who had him arrested, in walks Whitney. Who just so happens to be the spitting image of Juliana and waltzes back into his life at what seems to be too big of a coincidence. Now Whitney is working on using her gift to convince Dominic that she is not Juliana. What extremes is Whitney willing to go to for this mysterious voice in her head? Can Dominic separate the woman he once loved from Whitney who just wants to help Juliana?
There are so many dark, twisted spots in this book that I almost cringed reading them. If you like dark and twisty romance novels then this may be right up your alley. Be forewarned though that this book is dark, with a huge emphasis on dark and their are some big trigger events that occur that may not be for everyone!

Christy Valor is a sexy pop star with a hidden past. Adam Tron is the bassist for one of the biggest rock bands, Balefire. Christy joins the band on tour, and things really heat up with her and Adam. I really enjoyed their chemistry and the story line. It made me wish I could actually watch them perform. I picked this book without realizing that it was fourth in a series, but I didn’t feel lost at all. I will definitely be going back to read the others! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a really good read! This is a contemporary romance with so many emotions, I laughed and cried multiple times while reading this one. I have not read the first book in this series but I didn’t feel like I missed anything, this was definitely a standalone to me. I also haven’t read anything from this author before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I definitely hope to read more from this author in the future!

This book packs some heat and had an interesting storyline, but it wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. What is it with women falling for men who treat them like crap? There was this sexual tension with some BDSM elements, but I found it difficult to get into because of the way Whitney allowed others to treat her. If you’re mostly just looking for something steamy to read with some kink mixed in, this fits the bill. Otherwise, I felt like the story and characters were a bit flat.

This book threw me for a complete loop! I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but how interesting! This is a lovers to enemies to lovers? Mystery, romance, suspense, spooky, …honestly I’m not even what genre to label it but spicy masterpiece.
Dominic was dealt a pretty bad hand in life, always working multiple jobs for what he needs from a young age, the one bright light in his life was Juliana, that is until one terrible night Juliana goes missing. She’s presumed dead, and Dominic is blamed for her murder After spending some time in jail, Dominic is aquifer and released but when he gets out he has one thing on his mind, revenge for those that have wronged him, and taken everything from him. That is, until he meets her… Whitney is just a normal girl, works a good job, content with her life, that is until one strange day she starts hearing a voice inside her head, and that voice is begging her for help.
Without giving away too much this story just dives right into the deep end, I was a little hesitant at first but within the first few pages I fell in love with the characters. I’ve laughed and she’s a few tears, the emotions that the characters, Dominic, specifically feel in this book are gut wrenching. Let’s be real Dominic and Whitney’s connection is so fierce it’s palpable, had me blushing more than a few times and sighing with happiness by the end of this story.
What a Wonderful read.

I loved reading about Maddie, Cole, and Charlie. Seeing their relationship develop from childhood friends, to lovers was a nice pace. Maddie thinks it’s just all in her head while Charlie and Cole are very much real and trying to convince her that they are very real. The back and forth between dreamland and reality was a nice transition. I never got confused at which location I was at. The writing was done wonderfully and the characters had great character development. I loved reading this first book, and I cant wait to see where the next one takes me!

The White Knight Cowboy (The Studs of Clear Creek County) by Stacy-Deanne. I have truly enjoyed this series and this book was no different. Its the age gap, grumpy older cowboy and young servant story. Dusty is the grumpy cowboy who is in desperate need of money for his ranch. When Dusty finds 19 year old Lovely Jo hiding in his barn he is interested in getting the reward money not in the girl herself. Lovely Jo has found her owner dead and runs so that she is not falsely accused of his murder. Running away has caused that to happen though and a bounty is on her head. Running to Dusty is the only way Lovely Jo thinks she can find help. He’s grumpy but has a good heart. Dusty needs the hefty bounty but doesn’t think he’s going to catch feelings for Lovely Jo. Will he take the money and turn her on or will he keep her for himself and protect her? Read this awesome historical romance to find out

I found this book to be intriguing and entertaining. This is a dark romance with anger, heartache, mystery, drama, love, paranormal aspects, and more. Dominic and Juliana are in love and dream of a future together but everything falls apart when she goes missing and he is accused of murdering her. Dominic wants revenge on the man that put him in jail and he works for many years for his revenge to be possible. Whitney who has special gifts and is hearing a voice that needs her help and that’s how her and Dominic meet which does not go well, mainly because she looks exactly like Juliana. This story kept me turning pages wondering where the story was taking me and how it would end. There are twists and turns and if you want to know how it ends then you must read it. These authors wrote a great story.

This book is so good. It is incredibly gritty and is full of suspense and mystery. I also really enjoy that this is told as if it is a documentary or a memoir. I feel that this storytelling technique really added to my enjoyment. It really took you right there with Fenimore. I really enjoyed Fenimore aka Simon and his quest to become a famous outlaw. I found that the book was a little slow in the beginning, but sticking with it is worth the reward, as this book is so good. I definitely recommend it!

Twists and turns in the story make for a steamy mystery of a young girl’s life and death. This story was captivating and had me guessing most of the story. Dominic and Whitney end up tangled together in several ways that help drive the story into a true page turner. Everyone needs their closure when things end abruptly and little did Dominic know how much he needed Whitney to be able to find his peace and a future of his own instead of being tied to his past.

Whew! When I read the blurb, I just didn’t expect this story to make me feel like this. It is incredibly sad at points, and yet will make you laugh out loud at times. It is mysterious, paranormal, and romantic. Even though we expect HEA most of the time, there were times that I didn’t really know how the couple would get there. I will warn that there are some dark moments, but I felt overall the book was great. I found the plot to be quite original and that was refreshing. A few times I did not expect the turn of events. Great characters, original plot, and exciting mystery!

The Man in Black is a MM romantic thriller by L.R. Liverpool. The story takes the reader along on a journey with Fenimore James as he sets off to make a new name for himself, literally and figuratively. At the beginning of Fenimore’s journey, he transitions into his new self- Simon Shaw. As he travels west, he contemplates on his dreams of all the fame and glamorous lifestyle of being an outlaw. There are times where he feels like he should turn around and go back to his old life. But eventually his dreams are in reach and joins with Red Evan’s gang. It’s there, he makes some very confusing and deep revelations of himself and who he really is as a man he despises becomes his love interest. Members begin dying and the boss is on edge as he suspects it is one of their very own. Is this dream everything he really wished it could be or will he regret this adventurous life he sought out as it all takes a dark turn?
While this is certainly no quick read, the author has put a lot into this story and by the end of it, I felt like everything came together so well. So many feelings were felt along with Simon and just wished I could reach into the story and give him a big hug. The character growth and writing was immaculate and really kept me drawn in. I quite enjoyed this!

This was a great prequel. A good short story to get you introduced to the characters. These kids have been through a lot and they keep on going. It shows how sometimes people go through a lot that you just don’t see. This book keeps your interest and keeps you reading. It was too short, but isn’t that always the case with books you enjoy? They are never long enough even if they are 800 pages. I can’t wait to read more in the series.
Spicy, dark, and twisted is what is in store with this book. Dominic was arrested for a crime he didn’t commit but after almost 18 months waiting in jail, he was finally found innocent. He makes a good life for himself in LA with his motivation of getting revenge. Whitney has a gift that she doesn’t really want. When she seeks out Dominic to give him a message from the great beyond, she is the one in for a surprise. She is a dead ringer for the woman he was accused of killing, he wants answers. The spice in this book will definitely keep you warm on a cold winter’s night.

Mixed feelings The overall premise of this book kept me reading – there were just moments I felt were forced and the dialogue didn’t quite match my idea of the characters. I struggled to connect with Vaughn, which didn’t help. I liked Xena though. There’s steam and some drama and angst but it was the disjointed writing in places that distracted me when reading. I’m not sure if y’all can see what I’ve read for my previous years reading challenges but you’d quickly realize I read almost exclusively smut. This had some grad A smut in it. The storyline was a little awkward for me though. I wrote this in another review earlier but it applies here as well: sometimes the writing feels disconnected. If that makes sense? I liked the relationship between the characters (for the most part) and I’m definitely looking forward to reading another book in the series to see how their relationship continues to play out.
This story is fantastic ! I love that it’s part of a series & can still be read as a stand alone, but there isn’t any point where it feels like you’re missing something if you haven’t read the others. Just enough curiosity about all the wonderfully written characters to want to read their stories too. Dripping with magic & sweet romance, danger, & excitement, I loved reading this. I honestly wish things had been more drawn out so I could have read more, longer. I would have enjoyed a bit more flirtation between Faiza & Hagen at first to feel their love more authentically, but they definitely still ended up being very cute together. The villain is deeply creepy & there are truly tragic circumstances, but nothing too detailed or triggering. I can’t wait to read all the other books in this series!

He’s the broody brother in the family whose temper can go from zero to death row in a heartbeat. She’s the sexy television producer who stops him in his tracks. Are these two opposites nothing more than a one night stand?
He didn’t mean to give Elyse pleasure during the important studio party. Because they could never be anything more than friends, right?
And even though she was drop-dead gorgeous and flaunted her sexy-as-sin charm, he should’ve kept his hands to himself and looked the other way. Until he walked into that party and his gaze landed on her barely-there dress. At that moment he never wanted anything so badly in his entire life.
He’s worked hard to protect his family and call his life his own, but when they become trapped together during a freak snowstorm, all bets are off. She’s made it clear she’s a city girl, and not interested in settling down in a small town like Langston Falls. But watching her on the farm, he starts to see another side of her that has him wishing she’d reconsider.
Will the bond they share be enough to overcome a long distance relationship? Or will his chance at happily ever after explode, leaving him angry and alone?

We’ve already suffered and lost enough.
I won’t let anything threaten my family or what we’ve built.
But a mysterious woman from my past shows up, with danger in tow.
That’s not all she brings with her.
The little girl stares up at me with the Hawke blue eyes.
Instantly, my entire world shifts.
It isn’t just about defending what’s ours.
Now, it’s about defending what’s mine.
Ruthless Hawke is the first book in The Hawke Family Second Generation Series. Grab this angsty contemporary romance about a man who will do anything to protect his family, a woman on the run, and an attraction neither of them can deny. Ruthless Hawke can be read as a stand-alone.
*Ruthless Hawke starts the second generation of the Hawke Family but it is not necessary to read the first generation*

Lucky Stars is a New Adult Sci-Fi Romance that I had a hard time putting down and ended up reading in one sitting. This is a new author to me and I’m definitely going to be looking into what other books they have written. This authors style of writing and attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for a epic story. Get ready to be taken on quite the adventure with a princess on the run,a rebel pilot and secret that could be dangerous. I highly recommend reading this book to find out if their love can survive the chase? I look forward to reading more from this Author.
