This is a four book series and this is the second book in the series. I read the first book and loved it. I loved this one as well. Loved revisiting the same cast of characters, just focused on different ones this time. Really is a good series and I loved this book as much as the first one. They can be read in order or as a stand alone.
Ted works at the Kincaid ranch and they have hired Stephanie as their yoga teacher. Now that school is starting she needs to go back to teaching kindergarteners. Ted likes Stephanie but she doesnt know, She likes him but he doesn’t know it.
They are both kinda quiet and reserve will they let each other know how they feel. Check out the story and see what you think.

Catch a Cowboy is the 2nd book in the Match Made in Montana series by Rachelle Paige Campbell. I am enjoying this series so far. This book follows yoga instructor/kindergarten teacher Stephanie and cowboy Ted. Stephanie has had a crush on Ted all summer but somehow loses the ability to speak when she is around him, when Ted’s niece becomes one of Stephanie’s students, she realises she will need to communicate with him to make sure that the little girl is looked after. However, the extra attention she pays her newest student doesn’t go unnoticed by a few devious parents who are determined to make Stephanie fall in line. This was a really enjoyable read. I felt for Ted, who was scared to be hurt again after a tragedy in his past and felt myself getting quite angry about the treatment Stephanie was receiving from the helicopter parents, I found that I didn’t want to put it down as I wanted to know how it ended. I am looking forward to the next installment.

This book has the reader thinking they can figure out who is doing the killing, and why they are doing it . The characters are well written and have complexity. The ending blew me away. Readers will love this romantic suspense work psychological thriller.

Fire Meets Fire is Book Two in the Wretched Soulz MC Series. It is an MC Romance with drama, suspense, action, intrigue, angst, danger, secrets, passion, and chemistry. The story centers around the characters of Chaz, the President of the MC’s club, and Helo, who has recently been released from the military on a medical discharge. Chaz prides himself on being tough and protecting the members of his club. When he discovers that someone is stealing from them, he vows to catch the person responsible. Chaz catches Helo in the act of stealing motorcycle parts and for some odd reason finds himself admiring how she stands up to him. Although he is determined to remain single, he finds himself attracted to her and when Chaz discovers that someone is after Helo, he cannot help but want to try to protect her. Helo is fierce, strong, independent and does not want saving. Another fantastic well written book with interesting characters by this talented author.

I don’t know how the author manages to continuously write about big, gruff bikers that melt your heart. Chaz is just another example. He is a hard-nosed president of a 1% MC and all he does is make the ticker gooey.
Chaz has to be everything to everyone as president. So far, he believes he has been good at it. Chaz has led the Wretched Soulz MC Arizona Chapter for many prosperous years. Lately, the brothers are starting to settle down. StoryTeller has a pregnant Old Lady and a kid. Chaz has spent a little time thinking that maybe that is something he is interested in.
Helo is just trying to get by. She received a medical discharge from the military due to lingering PTSD episodes that make it so she can’t fly the helicopters she was born to fly. Now someone is after her, so she is living off the grid, barely making it by. Helo made a deal with an old man to help restore a motorcycle for room and board. To help the costs of the repairs, Helo has been quietly pilfering from the trash pile at the MC’s garage. She didn’t think they would notice.
One night while helping herself to some discarded parts, Helo gets caught. Chaz is instantly intrigued by this woman. He doesn’t know why. She almost bested him but didn’t. Then she escapes the confines he put her in for the night. Despite Helo’s disappearance, Chaz can’t stop thinking about her. When they find her again, he makes an interesting offer. When Helo takes him up on his offer, she manages to crack more than their security.
Helo explains that someone is after her. She wants to run. Chaz wants her to stay. When things get too hot at the MC, Chaz takes Helo and they run together. This puts Chaz in a really tough spot with the MC. The Soulz catch up with Chaz and Helo and decide to help Helo find out who is after her. Chaz hates the plans that are made. Chaz is finally able to tell Helo what he feels for her and that he wants her forever. Helo isn’t ready to hear these words until the shadow of bounty is off her head.
There is nothing like big, hard as nails, outlaw bikers. This author writes them too well. Cuz I am cheering for the biker to get his girl and so will you!! Break into this amazing series now! These bikers will ride away with your heart. Can’t love them enough. Can’t give it enough stars!!!!!!!!!

Ms. Mallet is one of a few special authors that I don’t bother with looking at the synopsis before reading, I just read and she has yet to disappoint me.
We have gotten to know Chaz casually through the Satan’s Devils, but now we get to know him. What a character!
Helo has been through so much in her life and come out on top. With all she has dealt with I wasn’t at all surprised by her reaction to Chaz. She is a bad @$$ and I love her for it.
I look forward to additional books Wretched Soulz and hope to see more from the Satan’s Devils in the future.

This author is one of my favorites, so it was a no brainer to grab this book immediately! I dove right in as soon as I got home and never put it down once the entire time which may or may not have led to me bumping into doors and walls. Worth it! Chaz is the MC president who is in charge of a lot of things. Most men don’t dare stand up to him, but Helo isn’t most men. In fact, she isn’t a man at all, but has no problem going toe to toe with Chaz. I admire her tenacity and her demand for respect. Getting to experience the push and pull between these two was absolutely heart pounding, and I loved every second of it. If you’re looking for an incredible adventure of romance in an MC, you’d be hard-pressed to find another author that’s better than this one! I am off to find another book by this author to get lost in.

3.5 stars I have read just about all of MK’s books most I have absolutely loved others I have liked but felt they needed more. Ashes is the first book in this Modern-Day Fairy tale series & this book Red is the second. So be sure to start at the first book as they share characters. With old & new characters Red continues on from it. There is a lot going on in this short story which is a tale of loss, love, drama, angst & magical creatures as well as magic. Want to know what the classic Little Red Riding Hood looks like with a modern-day twist well look no further here it is because I am not giving away anything.

This story, these characters, this author. Hit me good with all the feels.
First: “External validation”
Then: “Children were a gift, forcing the grown-ups in their lives to snap out of their doldrums and look at the world with wonder.”
Absolutely love the sweet slow burn love that these characters develop. While both Ted and Stephanie are awkward around each other, which is so cute, they are strong and opinionated in their respective line of work, making them perfect for each other. I love the writing style of this author and the way she brings the characters together, even after a little turbulence.
This book is the second in the series but can be read as a standalone as each book focuses on a new couple. Looking forward to reading more about the Kincaid Ranch and family.

Once again, this author does not fail to disappoint. The author produced yet another amazing story, not just a repeat with different characters. I am once again impressed that Helo and Chaz have their own story and spotlight. Their stories are inspiring and nothing short of realistic.
Another bright side is that you do not need to read all of these novels in order to understand the plot. However, I still highly recommend reading the rest of the novels that involve the Wretched Souls MC. I can assure you that none of them will disappoint!

I enjoyed reading this fantasy fairytale romance story. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I enjoy this author’s writing style and her ability to make her characters come to life on every page. This book is no different. It is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book as well. This is a well written story that is full of romance, fairies, angels and mortals. This is a story that has a lot going on but the author did a great job of keeping you engaged throughout. I enjoyed how the characters pulled you into their world with ease and kept you there with them to the end. They are connectable and truly add so much to the story. They have great growth throughout which make the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story and one you don’t want to miss. It is a must read! What will happen when all these characters collide? I highly recommend this book and this author.

Who doesn’t love Manda’s MC romances? I always do. There’s usually some undercurrent of trauma, strife, and the usual MC shenanigans, but I was wholly unprepared for the emotion behind Helo’s character in this novel. Chaz was your typical overprotective, alpha, MC member but he totally changed his whole persona to make him seem less threatening and easier for Helo to come to terms with her PTSD while realizing she still had so much life left to live, with him he hoped. I finished in just a few days because I didn’t want to stop reading it. You also get a little glimpse into other characters previous stories as well, for example Storyteller, I really liked his story as well, and what happened after their book ended. Overall a very enjoyable, emotional, quick read.

Breaking free from her homeschooled cocoon, Lily is ecstatic to head off to college. She’s waving goodbye to her mom’s doom-and-gloom speeches about the big, scary world, ready to embrace freedom without a care.
George is every girl’s dream—funny, smart, and handsome. But he’s still wrecked by the mysterious disappearance of his high school sweetheart. He yearns for closure but wallows in self-pity, pining for his lost love.
Sparks fly when Lily and George meet, and their mutual attraction is instantaneous. But George resists their electric connection and retreats. Frustrated by his repeated rejections, Lily is ready to walk away for good.’
Behind the scenes, an inexperienced fairy godmother teams up with an annoyingly handsome and arrogant guardian angel to stop Lily from ditching her true soulmate, George—a potentially catastrophic decision. While they debate their strategy, an enemy from George’s past devises a greedy and revengeful plot that could destroy everything. Can George save Lily, or will he suffer a lonely future—this time, forever?
When fairies, guardian angels, and mortals collide, anything can happen.
While this novel is a complete tale in itself, delving into the first book, Ashes, will enrich your understanding of the characters and their journey.
MK has always been a voracious reader. After hitting a dry spell of reading material, she decided to write the kind of book she’d like to read. This resulted in the creation of her debut novel, Intentional. (Award for Best Sweet Romance – eFestival of Words- August 2014) Unintentional, Breaking Braydon, Taking Tiffany, The Reader, Famous by Default, soon followed. The follow-up to The Reader, The Jack, released August 2018.
Ashes, the first book in a new series of modern-day fairy tale retellings released in May 2022. (Five more books in the series to follow)
When she’s not writing novels, she likes to spend her free time traveling the world, splashing in mud puddles (She lives in Seattle, what can she say?), watching movies and reading (!) She LOVES to hear from her readers!

OMG!! So this is the first book I have read from Manda, it will not be my last one. I’m hoping to read more from her soon. Chaz and Helo’s story is heart retching and yet so familiar. Not really wanting to settle down, Chaz is thrown off by his emotional connection to Helo. Helo is former pilot for the military and is now trying to stay alive while trying to escape from someone who is trying to hurt her. Does Helo find a way to keep herself safe or does she put herself into more harms way by falling for the Prez of an MC Club? You have to read to find out!!!

Another great read as this is a continuation of Greetings from Asbury Park: A World War Two love story. This second book may be read as a standalone. The author does a great job of catching the reader up on the events of the first book.
Jack and Mariella are finally in the US. It’s not the easiest transition for Mariella as she’s left her family behind in Rome. Jack’s mom isn’t the most welcoming mother-in-law either. I’m a fan of historical reads, those set in the WWII area, and ones that have a bit of romance. This is the perfect combination!
Jack and Mariella’s story tugged at my heart strings just a bit. There story isn’t necessarily original but it’s their story and it matters. This author did such a great job of weaving the story, that it was as if I was there watching it all play out in person. Yes Yes Yes!!! All I can say I loved this book. Manda Mellett never disappoints and they way she writes her MC series’….just the best. Fire Meets Fire is Book 2 in the Wretched Soulz series and I cannot recommend this book enough..but definitely start the series from beginning. The danger, secrets, action with some twists…..loved this book.
As a club president, Chaz has to ensure the club is tip top shape….including making sure business is in order. When something sneaky is going on…Chaz is set out to find out who is responsible for the theft. What Chaz did not expect is it to be a woman….he is angry but intrigued. Who is this woman…. Helo is methodical…thinking there is nothing wrong from taking from the Wretched Soulz…but she has another thing coming. What does Chaz and the MC do in this situation…normally if she was a man, they would be punished by death. Being a fierce woman…..Chaz is intrigued by her while not looking for any relationship. He wants to protect Helo… and Helo challenges Chaz…what will become of Chaz and Helo….
Definitely read and find out!! I always look forward to Manda’s books and cannot wait to see what is in store next.

Fire Meets Fire: Wretched Soulz MC by Manda Mellett. This is one of my favorite authors so I always pick up her books and this one was no different. Its such a good story. Its the story of the President of the Wretched Soulz MC club, Chaz and his friend Helo. Helo has had a lot of trauma in her past so she is pretty much just broken. Chaz is a womanizer and thinks he’s superior to all women. He’s used to be a love them and leave them kind of guy but Helo is definitely not the one night stand type. Chaz can’t keep from thinking about Helo and he doesn’t know what to do with it. They both have amazing stories that will keep you turning the pages and wondering if they can make it work. I love the way this author writes to the point where I feel like I am in the book and living with the characters. Such a good read!

I was 100% on the edge of my seat from start to finish with this Amazing book. This truly talented author creates such strong characters who are also full of heart and completely gripping storylines that as a reader you are pulled into the life she is presenting so easily. This is a very simple and cute story for one who wants to get away from the spicier romance novels. Ted and Stephanie are very compatible together without them realizing it and despite their age gap. I do like the character development of the main characters. Also the minor characters do provide how well all the characters get along and it does provide them with a family oriented setting.

This is the second book in the Wretched Soulz MC series. I absolutely adore books by this author. I am always impressed and captivated by the writing and characters. This is a MC romance with characters that have issues and demons that makes them deeper than just an MC club. This is a story filled with danger, angst, treachery, demons of their past and romance.
Chez is the president of the Wretched Soulz MC. As president he lives and dies by the rules of the MC club. He has come to terms with the fact that he will be a bachelor forever and he’s happy with that. At the end of the day his club comes first. When he realises that someone is stealing from the Mac’s garage he is determined to find out what it is and punish them for taking liberties against his club. What he find will change his life and shake him up in ways he never imagined.
Helo is the thief in question. All her life she has suffered one trauma after another and now she finds herself medically discharged from the army with PTSD. Now she is in hiding and the only way she can keep her safe space is by fixing the owners bike. She doesn’t have access too funds so she uses her skills to get the parts from the MC club. She knows the risks if she gets caught but the risk of the people she is hiding from finding her is much greater. When she gets caught by the president of the MC sparks and fists fly.
This is a very emotionally intense story which is what I love from this author. Both our main characters are very independent and capable of taking care of themselves, however Chez can’t deny the way Helo makes him feel, all he wants to do is protect her. However the problem becomes whether Helo or the MC club allow him to do that. Can Helo let her guard down enough to accept help and protection from Chez. Can she trust a man after everything she has been through. And how will Chez react if his brothers in the MC club decide that they don’t want to risk themselves in protecting Helo? Both of our main characters have trauma in their past which they are struggling to work through and which has shaped them into the person they are today.

I love me a good MC book 😜I needed some fire under me after my last read which made me feel like I cried all my tears out , even the reserves ( yes it was THAT good)
Look these Prez’s of the clubs aren’t to be messed with but everyone if us had an Achilles or kryptonite and Halo is that for our Chaz and she’s a real firecracker 🧨 I’d say it’s safe to say Chaz has met his match in Halo 😉🔥
There’s a price on Halo’s head will the club hand het over or protect her !? Look love usually finds you when and where you’re not looking and when you least expect it and just because you prez of a club it doesn’t make you exempt….
I loved getting lost in between these pages and there was steam , tension , suspense , angst and intrigue , if I had the time I’d be rereading this right now 😍but my TBR is calling 😉

I absolutely love each and every story I’ve read by this author. This book finds a broken woman Helo and a ladies man, Chaz who has declared for years he would never settle down in a relationship on a chance encounter and they can seem to stop thinking about each other. The author does an amazing job connecting the reader with the characters and you are eager to dive further into the book. Don’t second guess on this book, read it today!

Moonlight Drive is a musical romance with well rounded characters and interesting plot line of 80’s rock band. Who wouldn’t want to know a rock star, have a romance with one, or have your own music stardom? There’s plenty of heartbreak, betrayal, drama, and romance in this novel for the reader to be hooked!
5 Stars Fire Meets Fire (Wretched Soulz MC #2) by Manda Mellett
Fire Meets Fire is the second book in the Wretched Soulz MC Series and is a MC Romance. This author is one of my favorites and each book knocks it out of the park. The attention to detail along with fully developed, raw yet realistic characters make the story fly off the pages. I’ve read several books by this author and each new chapter of the MC she writes is just as epic as the last. This is Chaz the Prez of the MC and Helo’s story. These two holy cow, they both are fighting their own demons(battles) . She wronged them and now he can’t get her off his mind. I don’t want to give anything away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m already ready for the next book in this series. Always look forward to reading more from this Author.

Catch A Cowboy is the second book in the Match Made in Montana series by Rachelle Paige Campbell. It is a sweet, clean, cozy, slow-burn, contemporary romance with a small-town ‘western’ element, cowboys, ranches, age gap, angst, drama, emotion, opening up your heart after loss, and finding love unexpectedly. This second instalment in the series could be read as a standalone if you wanted, as it focuses on a different couple than the first book did. But we do get to catch up with Meg and Ryan, as well as Ryan’s grandpa, Hank (the MC’s from Book #1) and revisit the Kincaid Ranch. Kincaid Ranch’s leading hand, Ted Stirling, has closed himself off since losing his wife, still a little lost in his grief. But when his sister brings her daughter (his niece) to stay, Ted finds himself out of his depth, and looks to Stephanie Patricks, the young kindergarten teacher, for help. Stephanie has had a secret, long-term crush on Ted and can’t help but feel drawn to him. As they work together to help Ted’s niece, things between them begin to blossom. But Ted can’t help but feel that he is too old and jaded for someone so young and lovely. But then an unexpected situation highlights what’s truly important. Will Ted finally open his heart up again, and take a chance on love? While I did enjoy this book more than the first, I still had trouble fully connecting with the characters- which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the story. Let’s see what Book #3 might bring. Happy Reading…
