Blind Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles #2) by India Kells – Review by Liz Vrchota

Blind Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles #2)Blind Magic by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Blind Magic is the second book in The Sanctuary Chronicles from India Kells. I have not had the pleasure of reading the first book, Broken Magic, although now I will be running to do so. It didn’t really affect my ability to enjoy this one though. Kells was a doll and gave us a pretty detailed prologue to catch us up for this one thankfully. This was just that amazing that I have to get my hands on the first as well. I normally don’t pick up books that fall into this ‘category’ but let’s be honest, look at that cover! Yummy, and eye catching. I had to know what was behind it. I am so glad I dived in blind.

In Blind Magic we get quite the story. I must say there was not a single moment that I was bored, and actually several hours that I was the do not approach the reading mom/wife or you may die type. Can you really describe a dark and twisty suspenseful book as beautiful and magical? I think this book qualifies for that, and really can’t come up with a better way to sum it up.

Sera Dover is one heck of a woman. Strong, independent and resourceful, oh and she is one heck of a witch. She will stop at nothing to protect those that she loves and cares about. She will face whatever danger comes her way too. Then there is Ian Macon, the damaged and gorgeous werewolf. He is instantly drawn to Sera. Her light and peace is something his shattered soul seeks out. These two have a connection that will set your kindle screens on fire, and give you a need for a tall glass of water, maybe even a fan or two, if you get my drift.

Of course, there is always danger lurking around the corner in all the great suspenseful novels. What is to come for them now and in the future? For that you must dive into this amazing five-star read for yourself, for I cannot bear to give away any more than I already have! Happy reading!

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders – Review by Heather Bass

Summer FlingSummer Fling by Tarrah Anders
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I absolutely love a good stand alone but this story exceeded all my expectations. You can’t help but to fall in love with all of these characters. I was hooked on the very first page. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible story.

Erin has always been a small town girl. She loves her job at her boutique. Erin has had really bad luck with the men she dates. She has sworn off summer flings for good due to the last man she loved. Erin is now excited about her work until she meets the handsome Royce. She has never felt like this before over a guy. Erin doesn’t want to get attached too fast but she can’t help it. She loves her new relationship with Royce but when she finds out their is an ex in the most she starts to put her walls up.

Royce is new to the town. He is starting up his own business with his best friend. Royce is used to the big city living so he has to get used to this small town. He is excited about his new life especially when he meets the beautiful Erin. Royce falls head over heels with Erin but when his ex comes back things get very interesting. Will Royce find what he is looking for in this small town or will he figure out he needs a big city?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and forgiveness. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. Erin is the perfect small town girl. She loves her life but she has walls up that are very hard to break. Royce is very handsome with a heart of gold. He is a very caring and understanding guy. These two characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seats until the end. I hope we get to know the other guys as well. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders ~ Review by Liz Vrchota

Summer FlingSummer Fling by Tarrah Anders
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great way to finish off my summer reading list. Those dog days of summer had just really started to finish up and a day in the sun soaking up the sexy saga of Emma and Royce was perfect!

Everyone has one of those great romances gone terribly wrong that ruins it for the ones to come, and Emma is no different. Being hurt in the past has made her a bit jaded and she is not going to let it happen again. So when the summer season is about to hit full swing in her idyllic town of Sweeny she reaffirms her pact with herself to avoid the new catches rolling into town.

Royce is a bit different though. He has come with the intentions of settling down roots. When he meets Emma he instantly feels a connection for with her beyond a friendly level. A drunken one night stand gives him hope. For Emma though, her walls are just as high as they were the day they met. Royce is just as stubborn though…

These two were so much fun to read about. I loved the supporting characters just as much, and can see where we could even get plenty of spin off novellas in the future. Another great escape and sexy read from Tarrah Anders, and one that is gorgeous at that. This must grace my bookshelves at home as soon as possible. Happy reading!

The Reader by M. K. Harkins The Immortal Series Book One – Review by Madison Degraffenreid

The Reader by M. K. Harkins The Immortal Series Book One

5 stars!
Ann has no memory of her past. She is taken in by a group of people who call themselves the Readers. They have lived for centuries and are immortal. They also believe Ann is the Lost One, a very powerful Reader who will change their world when she is bonded with her soulmate. There are four different individuals who could possibly fill that role and they all have to see if they have a connection. With the Jacks attempting to steal her new friends work to keep her safe while also helping to restore her memory.

I loved Ann’s character as well as her friends Archer, Devon, and Lucy. They help her so much with the memory loss and the loss of her family. I also loved the excitement the storyline had and how easily it flowed. I could not put this book down.

About Michelle Sullivan

Writing freakin’ rocks!! I never in a million years thought that I could write a book, but I did. Once I started writing, I never in a million years thought that I would let anyone else read it, but I did. Now, less than 2 years after I released my first novel, I am getting ready to release my 4th… and not only do I absolutely love the writing process, but I am damn proud of what I have accomplished 🙂

My first novel, A Leap into Destiny, was released in June of 2016 and since then I have also released Room 208, Sunset After the Storm and my newest (coming February 27, 2018) is called Our Next Chapter.

A little about me outside of the writing world…

I am a wife to an amazing man who has been my number one supporter since the day I told him my writing plans. I am also a mom to 2 grown boys who refuse to read any of my books (apparently reading romance written by their mom is traumatizing) but have still been incredibly supportive of me.

I love to read! When I start a book, I refuse to stop reading until I am done with it. I can’t go to sleep at night without finishing whatever book I have started. That has made for some incredibly late nights but it is totally worth it.

I am a huge dog lover. I have 3 dogs (Bella, Meeka and Piglet) and also work for Dog Cruces Magazine in Southern New Mexico. I have some of the most amazing co-workers on the planet and can honestly say I love my job.

That is me in a nutshell. Enjoy and Happy Reading!!!!

Small Town Hero is a sweet, clean romance that celebrates renewal.

Rebecca is saving herself for marriage. After a crushing betrayal, she spins out of control when she catches her fiancé and best friend in bed together. Grief-stricken and desperate, she finds herself stranded in Tennessee and forced to rely on the kindness of a stranger.

Ryan knows heartache. The only woman he loved walked away the day he proposed to her. He knew in that instant he’d never trust his heart to another. At least he has his dog to keep him company and a good job as a local firefighter.

When Rebecca ends up in Ryan’s path, they blend like oil and water. While he’s content with what life gives him, she escapes by seeking her identity in expensive things. Can two broken souls find salvation with their complete opposite?

Kim Koby is a writer from New Jersey. She loves to weave tales of love and renewal. Quirky, fun, and lighthearted storytelling is her specialty.

Kim’s books share traditional family values. Her focus is on small towns and sweet, clean romance that comfortably allows you to recommend a book you’ve read to your daughter or grandmother.

The heat level of Kim’s books is mild with a couple of tender kisses. Anything beyond that is left out of the book or behind closed doors. You also won’t find any foul language or violence.

There’s also usually a dog or cat in each story, since animals have always played an important role in Kim’s family.

Speaking of family, Kim is happily married to a loving and patient man who laughs at her silly jokes and loves her just as she is. She has two grown boys and two small dogs.

The first in the Brothers of Camelot Series: The Only One

Can a man whore whose motto is “One and Done” keep it in his pants long enough to win back the trust of his childhood sweetheart?

Drake, otherwise known as Fitz, was dealt a tragic hand from the beginning. Pain and rejection melted away when a little girl with huge brown eyes, strawberry blonde curls and an explosive personality, walked into his new home and his heart.
Inseparable as kids, she’s literally ripped from his arms when they’re teens. Convincing himself he’s unworthy of her, he closed himself off to all future relationships, refusing to open his heart to anyone else. If only she would come back to him.

Isabella, with her unique personality, is the polar opposite of her rich socialite mother, with a determination and drive to be more than just someone’s country club showpiece.

She returns to her childhood town to start her own business, and prove she doesn’t need her mother, or a man, to feel complete. Thanks to her first love, her father’s betrayal and a slew of bad relationships, she’s locked her heart away, hidden behind her smile and sweet disposition. She’s found peace in her memories of Drake, hoping he’ll finally contact her, or maybe she’ll find the nerve to contact him.

Can their long-lost love be rekindled, or do they need a little help from their friends?

Necie Navone had always dreamed of being a writer but thought it would be impossible with her struggles with dyslexia. With her determination, the love and support of one of her sons and some close friends she finally took the leap, and put pen to paper and wrote “The Only One” The first in the Brothers of Camelot series.

She’s had the Brothers of Camelot living in her mind for years and dreams of them regularly. She hopes you will enjoy their stories as much as she loves dreaming of them. Come along and meet all 12 of these, incredible alpha men, as she introduces you to each one of them.

Necie, was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, leaving there at the age of 20 to visit California. Once she arrived, she decided to make it her home. She’s a stay at home mom to her fifth son, who is severally autistic and non-verbal. With the love and support of her husband and sons, she is taking on this new adventure and would love for you to come along with her.
