Love Tools is an emotional roller coaster of romance, heartbreak, and drama in a rural romance. I loved both Jake and Lily. This story is an easy read with great characters.

I really enjoyed this book, the story line, the characters, the setting, it was a great read! The setting of the town is cute with the main street, a diner without a name that Max owns, and all of the characters in a small town who know each other and everyone’s business. The characters are lovable and really easy to connect to. Max moved to town in high school and was made fun of for his stutter. Ginny calmed him and became his study partner and then girlfriend. Ginny’s mom left in high school so she grew up with just her dad, Harold. Max and Ginny were high school sweethearts, married, and then when Ginny was offered a job in New York she leaves Buckeye Falls and doesn’t look back. Ginny has been gone two years but Max and Harold still have dinner once a week and Harold goes to the diner often. Ginny is back in town because her dad has to have a hip surgery. She is unsure of seeing Max and when she does she starts to have all the feelings. Ginny still has feelings for Max but isn’t sure how he feels or if she should do anything about it because she will be moving back to New York after Harold recovers. Max is happy Ginny is home and still loves her. The story alternates between the character perspective so you get to know them even more as you read. This was a wonderful holiday romance!

I am not always big fan of romances but when I do indulge, I love a small town story. This book checked off all the boxes with it’s witty banter and fast paced storyline. I really like the friendly foundation that the two main characters laid down. There was more to this story than cute, romantic tropes including an element of family complexities. In addition to really enjoying both the main female and male characters, I enjoyed the supporting characters as well. No one came off we flat or dull, everyone had fun personalities that felt as though you could know them personally. I would definitely recommend Love Tools and look forward to reading more from Isobel Reed.

Lily doesn’t care for the life she is living in London, so relocates to Montana to take over her dad’s business. She runs into Jake and sparks start to fly. Are all the Montana boys all this hot? Lily goes through her dad’s things and finds out why her dad supposedly never had a relationship with her. Jake is one of her go-to people who helps her get through it all. They decide to be exclusive with each other and things get hot from there. This book is filled with romance and action packed. I highly recommend it to read.

Beckett is stumbling downward into a life he is unfamiliar with. A once high ranking hockey player finds himself broke and lacking many friends. In the sale of one of his many properties, he reconnects with Paige, a former college acquaintance. Paige has always crushed on Beckett but he’s always been out of her reach for the relationship she wants in life. When they reconnect, Paige is suffering from her own battles of a broken marriage and leans on Beckett to support her through. Most of the book is set with their friendship which is very nice to see a deeper connection for the characters. We are given years of history for these two characters which makes the developing romance seem plausible. Through friendship, support, humor and honesty, can these two from the lasting bond we all want for them? This was a great read and loved the flow of the then and now for our main characters.

This was a great second story in the world of WaterFyre Rising! I loved being back with other characters from the first book and learning more about how interconnected their stories are. This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the first story in the series! This book was the perfect fake-dating trope, but also focused on destiny and fate. It made me constantly say, “Where is my billionaire hero to kill all the monsters in my closet??” but I loved it! There was so much passion and romance in this book, and I read it all in one sitting! I am excited to see if the story continues — which I hope it does! Nadia’s writing is so addictive, and I highly recommend the WaterFyre Rising series.

Peculiar and unusual A curious tale that takes the reader on an unusual adventure filled with magic, paranormal, mystery, alternate worlds and a roller coaster of emotion. The story is offbeat but delivered well with Isaac finding himself in a fantastical world. I was engaged from start to finish and enjoyed the quirkiness of the story. An unexpected find, this is a great read. Recommend.

This book is romance and drama all bundled into one delightful short story. All four main characters are relatable and the writing immediately draws you in. This book takes you on an adventure that you hope will never end. I love that the complexity of the relationships were described realistically.

Book 2 in the Tallie Brown Suspense Series Revenge Never Rests, picks up pretty much where book 1 left off. Tallie knows who she really is now! Knows Julia lied to her! Knows she can’t tell her real father who she is because it could cause more harm than good. How does one live like that? Well by continuing to be the person she was trained to be. Julia may have taken her from her family, but she trained her well in tracking and survival. Paired together as somewhat of a team Tallie and Jackson take positions working for soon to be Ambassador Kaswell. However before they can start those jobs he disappears. Looks like he was taken, until Tallie evaluates the situation and realizes it’s bigger than that. Tallie is thrown into a mission with Major Norris and his daughter Marlene to track General Kaswell down. While Jackson has been left to work the press circuit to keep things at bay. Unfortunately Tallie and Jackson don’t feel comfortable on how this situation is panning out, nor do they feel comfortable that they are apart figuring it out. Do they find General Kaswell? Does he know the truth about Tallie? The author wrote a fantastic follow-up to Secrets Never Die. The puzzle is what keeps me intrigued, trying to figure out what happened and what’s going on along with Tallie. The writing helps too, since it’s written extremely well. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite work as a standalone novel. You need to read book 1 first, but trust me when I say you will be happy that you did! If you like puzzles and suspense this book and series is for you! Now while you get on that, I’m going to look up other books by this author to check out!!

Do you enjoy puzzles? How about puzzles with some suspense thrown in? That’s what makes this book fun and intriguing. Secrets Never Die is a well written and intriguing suspenseful mystery. Bringing together two people in a town who doesn’t take too kindly to visitors. The author wrote a slew of excellent characters but the growth of the main two throughout it is beautiful to behold. Tallie recently set out to find answers. The woman she knew as mom passed on, but leaves behind a note for her to choose. 1 to just move on and forget that passed. Then the 2nd was to look for answers, however she might like what she finds on the other side. Jackson is a washed up reporter, who feels like he’s been set up on a wild goose chase. Little does he know he’s been thrown a curveball that could make or break his career completely. Being led byCutler Ridge on a hunch, turns out to be so much more. Dealing with the townsfolk was a different story, they give you a hard time and don’t want to answer questions about the mystery surrounding their town. When Jackson meets Tallie they are at odds, misjudging each other, but due to the growth they soon discover they need to work together to get the answers they need. For Tallie, who is my family? What did my mother mean to this town? For Jackson, it’s why I was sent here? How will this get my career back on track? These characters fit all kinds of molds which makes the book quirky vs all the mystery. I loved the intrigue of the puzzle and the government conspiracy suspense. It made for a very fantastic read. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

It’s discovered that the Amber Alert was a set up and that there were Somalian operatives after Tallie for her connections to other people. Can she escape their clutches and save General Kaswell in the process?
This book grabbed me from the get-go and didn’t want to let go! This story is full of adventure, love, redemption, and mystery. All great elements to put together this telling of Tallie’s life. From the opening notes, the author mentions how she wrote this book during a time of turmoil in our country and those elements are scattered throughout. Such a beautiful book that can be read as a stand-alone, however it is the second book in a series. I will be going back to read the first book as I missed it! There are details that will likely be cleared up by reading the first book.
Please don’t skip over the opportunity to read this great book!

A fun romance between a gal from London and a guy in a small Montana town.
Lily has just moved in to the hardware store (with an apartment on the 2nd floor she inherited from her estranged father. The first person she meets is Jake, a friend of Lily’s father.
From the start when Lily and Jake meet and things go a bit askew. But soon enough, each of them realizes that the other is different from past boyfriends or girlfriends. Of course it takes time because there are other things to consider – Sam, Lily’s only friend who happens to be Jake’s sister.
I had fun reading this book. The author did a wonderful job keeping the story going which kept me interested in reading more. The characters were easy to connect with and I could feel the pain and frustration Lily had about her father’s abandonment and also surprise in finding out he left the hardware store to her.

I enjoyed the story line around Royce. I found Michelle’s story line to be chaotic. It feels like the author tried to pad out her part of the story with too many variables. I also found the flashbacks to the past slowed the story down and I had a hard time sticking with it. Despite struggling through parts of the story, the author does have good attention to detail and manages to connect all the pieces together. If you like intricate story lines, this might be the read for you.

This was such a cute fun read that mentioned topics that other romance books have not mentioned before, giving it a new meaning and something, that people can enjoy. The main character, Lily, has just been told that her father has died, and he left her a tool shop in his will on the other side of the world. Needing to escape the area she is living, due to not liking the area/people she is surrounded by, she packs up her things and moves looking for a fresh start. Here in this small town, she meets friends and develops a love interest named Jake. Both of these characters grow and learn through instances that surround them that they both have in common, a parent leaving and not returning due to different circumstances. While this was a slow burn read w/o explicit scenes, I found myself not able to put this book down as I had to know what was to happen next! I cannot wait to read the second book in the series when it comes out as her sister is the main character and was a straight up SPIT FIRE in this one. I have no doubt that it will be just as good if not better than this one!

This book feels like a Hallmark movie in a good way! Love Tools is a story about Lily, who moves from London to Bluestone when her father dies. She decides to reopen her father’s hardware store and meets Jake along the way. Jake is a player but decides that he wants to settle down with Lily right when she suddenly can’t decide what she wants. These two have very cute interactions. It was a very fun read and I really enjoyed both characters. This is the first book in the Bluestone Series and I very much look forward to reading the next book.

This is Book 2 of the incredible tale of Tallie Brown. I never read the first book but I’m now a convert and huge fan of this author. The characters are rich and their growth is quite refreshing.
Tallie has baggage and an extremely complex background that she struggles to hide from herself and others. The pain of loss, the confusing secrets unveiled because of the loss, new relationships and a scary new mission with ties closer to home.
If you enjoy mystery, adventure, drama and suspense, you’ll enjoy this book. It was a page-turner.

One mistake brings Dorian and Augustine together but will all the lied tear them apart? What about their wives? How will the two men find a way to deal with the attraction that they have and still have the love that they cherish with their wives?
Augustine and Dorian’s journey is an interesting one. The two men find themselves in a place where they must really look deep into themselves and find the courage to either fight for what they want or let it go. I am sorry to say but this story was missing something for me. I did not really connect with any of the characters and their story did not pull me in. There are a lot of emotions on the page but I did not feel them. This story moves at a good pace and even though it is not a favorite of mine it was interesting to see how their journey would unfold.
This was a good, quick read. I am going through a divorce so I needed to compartmentalize when reading this. The bond between Ginny and Max was good despite their obstacles. This author does a good job weaving plot lines and adding depth to the story. I will read more by this author.

The developing relationship that befalls between these two characters will keep you reading. Will they survive the bumps along the way? What ending is in store for Lily whose sworn off relationships and Jake who wants the real deal?
This was my first read by this author, but not the last. A wonderful story packed into a short read. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Jake, however…is not one to follow directions.
When Jake meets Lily, there are sparks right away. He wants to pursue her…but his sister thinks his reputation of never having a long-term relationship means he is incapable of love. Sure…he hasn’t been in love…but it doesn’t mean he can’t. He wants to give Lily the space and time she needs, but he just can’t stay away. However, a miscommunication puts all progress the two have in jeopardy. Will she accept his apology after her proved her insecurities to be true?
There are two storylines going on in this book. There is Lily and Jake’s relationship…and Lily finding out the truth about her father. Both are interesting and I enjoyed reading them. I like Sam and Ali’s characters, and was excited to see the next book is about Alice. Overall, a good story that reminds us that we may be shaped by our pasts…but it doesn’t define us or our futures.

This is a great contemporary romance that I really enjoyed reading. I hadn’t read any of this author’s work before and I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this story. Lily has moved from the hustle and bustle of London, a city with a population of over 8 million people to live in small town Bluestone County. Jake has lived in Bluestone County all his life and is a true country boy at heart. Lily is sworn off dating the same loser types she’s always dated and Jake is a known womaniser, the opposite of what she wants. It’s definitely not a case of love at first sight. In fact, Lily seriously dislikes Jake at their first meeting. I really enjoyed reading Jake and Lily’s story. The banter between them makes for some fun reading as they bicker over the slightest thing, pushing each other’s buttons. Lily and Jake are both great characters that I really enjoyed reading about. They are both characters that you can easily relate to and I could have read about them for much longer. All in all this is a great read that I’d definitely recommend to others.

Dorian and Augustine are two men who are happily married to two beautiful women, they have the lives they want and everything they could need, that is until the day that an assassin brings them together in an extremely unexpected way. They meet in unusual circumstances, but soon find that their relationship is blooming and they begin to care for each other, however, when things look like they could cross some lines and break apart their current lives and those of the ones they love, they decide to stay away from each other and hope that the distance will help them to heal their broken hearts.
This plan seems to be working fine and for the next few years, things move along in both their lives, Dorian with his self employment where he controls how much or little work he does and Augustine his graphic design business, as well as each of them supporting their wives in their endeavours. Unbeknownst to the men, their wives meet each other by chance and become fast friends and declare that they would like the husbands to meet and become friends too.
So, one night, one of the wives invite the other to a party they are throwing and when they introduce their respective husbands to each other, the men are completely blindsided and everything that had been left behind comes crashing back in full force. What will become of this pairing and how can they keep things friendly without acting on the temptations they are faced with every time they meet up? This is a tangled web of unrequited and forbidden love, with secrets, lies and half truths scattered throughout, as denial and temptation rear up to create a bubbling sea of uncertainty.
I picked up this book only because I like the author. Without reading the blurb, I didn’t really know what to expect. I was a little surprised. This is not her usual genre of writing. For a fairly new author, I commend her for taking a chance and stepping out of the box. This was a good effort at writing a contemporary romance.
Dorian and Augustine cross paths by pure accident. After spending time together, they realize feelings are developing. Both having wives, they decide to go their separate ways. When it’s meant to be, you can’t fight fate. What are the chances that years later their wives would become best friends? Awkward situation! Can they navigate a relationship that is based on lies?
I think the thing that I like best about this author is that she is not afraid to write about relationships that are not heterosexual. My only issue with this story is that it was too tame for me.

THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE IS HOLIDAY PERFECTION. this truly might become one of my favorite reads all year and I’m so glad I found this gem. This is a story about Buckeye Falls native, Ginny, returning home for a few weeks around Christmas to oversee her dad before during and after a medical procedure. She has stayed away from home for several years following the divorce to her long time friend and husband, Max. Ginny is a great worker at her amazing job in NYC which is what took her away from her husband to begin with who, at the time was also striving towards career goals. The return of Ginny is a delight for Max as he is so happy to be around her again and maybe get his second chance. This was so heart warming I cried so much. I absolutely love everyone in this book. I felt like this was happening in real life I was so immersed in this story I read it in just a few hours. It’s not too Christmas themed that you can’t experience anything else. this has a perfect balance of Christmas holiday themes and real life genuine romance, drama, heartache and excitement. Absolutely worth a read.

This is the story of two unlikely men trying to avoid the feelings they have for each other. In an accidental miss fire the assassin Dorian misses his target and shoots Augustine. Augustine survived the shooting, but Dorian still feels guilty it happened in the first place. What is Dorian going to do about it? Will these two men be able to come from this unscathed? What happens when these married couples’ wives become friends? I give no spoilers! This author has always had me reading her books. While this is a short story, it packs a punch. I felt I was on a rollercoaster filled with emotions. I was caught up in this story before the first chapter ended and could not put it down. You can’t help falling in love with the characters in this story or the author who wrote it. I will be looking forward to where this author takes this genre.
This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have loved reading her books from the start. Her writing skills are such that she will pull you into the world of the characters from the start. This book is no different. This is a well written story about two women who introduce their husbands to each other. What they don’t know is that these two have more in common than what they know. This is a must read story that you don’t want to miss. The characters pull you in from the start. They are not only connectable but have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. This is a shorter story that is fast paced and packs a punch. Loved this book! I highly recommend this book and this author
I knew the first two chapters I was not going to go bed any time soon. I had to keep reading. It starts off with Lily’s story it just draws you in. You just have to know who this guy is that she is thinking about. The author gives you tiny information to keep you hooked.

This was a really enjoyable mm romance. This is by far one of my favourite authors and I love everything I read by her and this one was just as good. She has the ability to transport the reader into the world she has created and the time just disappears as you read. The books are definately page turners. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book but i was not disappointed. I love the danger of Doran’s job, and the impact it has, I loved the chemistry between Doran and Augustine and their fight against what they are feeling to protect their wives showed so much love for their partners that they deny themselves the love they feel between them.
This is definately a story that will grip you and the outcome even though it may not be seen as right to some people was definately right for this story. It was a beautiful story about fighting for what you want in life and being who you want to be with the people you want to be with.
