Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7)Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This author never fails to deliver an absolutely astounding read! She is one of my favorites to keep on my watch list because I haven’t found a book of hers that I haven’t fallen in love with throughout many different series. This is the 7th book in the Grimm Wolves MC series and what an addition it turned out to be. I’m fully invested in the emotionally tormented characters as well as the suspenseful rollercoaster of a storyline. I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book as it was incredibly intense and heart-wrenching. I was torn between reading as quickly as possible and trying to slow down to really absorb every beautiful detail that was intricately woven into this series. Dingo and Celee just have this way about them, and their chemistry is palpable. They truly evolve right before your eyes and it’s as if nothing else exists. If you love a captivating MC romance with plenty of action, drama, and suspense, don’t pass this book/series up or you’ll regret it! I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next because I am READY!

Each and every book of the WaterFyre Rising Books has been absolutely phenomenal and this book definitely fits the mold. This is a second chance romance that is wonderfully well written. This book focuses on Kiera and Forrest and has a major focus on what happens when one is faced with having to choose between getting revenge and saving someone. This added a very interesting element to the plot that made it impossible for me to put down. I loved watching Kiera and Forrest together and seeing them navigate their complicated situation. Both characters were well developed and believable. I definitely found myself really rooting for them both. I definitely recommend picking this one and the rest of the series!

Grayson and Natalie have such fantastic chemistry that the tension between them just jumps off the page. Their banter is absolutely enjoyable and really makes the book move at a fast pace. Another great read from an exceptional author. This is the seventh book in this series and should be read in order so you have a better understanding of the characters and backstory of what’s going on. This story is full of danger, drama, action, deceit, love, forgiveness, family, and more. There are some subjects that could be triggering for some readers so be aware of that before reading. This author never disappoints, her stories are always engaging and every book I have read by her is always hard to put down because I get so engrossed in them.
Both of the main characters have a rough past that’s hard to let go of. Celee is on the run trying to stay alive and Frank is trying to protect her. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. I found myself rooting for them and hoping they find the love that they both deserve. This book is told from different pov’s and it made the story that much more interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend it.

This is the second book in the WaterFyre Rising Series. It is such a good book that really has it all and is impossible to put down. It has romance and mystery. It also has a plot that sucks you in from page one and really doesn’t let you put it down until the last page. Royce is such an interesting character. He is such a thrill seeker and really is a protective alpha. Michelle is a very relatable character. She has such depth to her and is really flawed in a relatable way. This book is filled with adventure and sexual tension. It also is filled with twists and turns. I definitely recommend picking up this book, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series as this was such a good read to me!

This is such a fun book! I love a good sports romance and this definitely delivers on that. This book features amazingly well written characters who really are relatable and just enjoyable to get to know. The authors do a fantastic job with character development and moving the plot ahead at a pace that keeps you sucked in. Olivia and Roman are just really fun characters and I really enjoyed watching them get to know each other. I definitely enjoyed this book and am glad to know that it is a part of a series as I really want to read more from both of these authors!

I am 100% team Olivia and Roman.

Olivia is an older FMC that is dealing with hot flashes and crazy hormones…and now she is going to a destination wedding where her ex-husband is the groom. Enter her children who hook her up with a fake date to the wedding. How bad could it be? Sun, sand, some drinks….and a professional hockey player?!?

Roman is nearing the end of his professional career. His teammates keep getting younger and younger while…well…he isn’t. When he finds himself being Olivia’s fake date, he doesn’t expect the chemistry that these two have. However, a vacation fling is just that…right?

These two had me laughing and kept me turning the pages. Due to the age range, I found myself connecting with Olivia. (Hot flashes are no joke – take stock in a fan company!) The banter was great and the chemistry was off the charts. Both have pasts that they need to work through…and somehow they each made the other a better person. A great, entertaining book that I really enjoyed! Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7)Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fractured Hearts is the seventh book in the Grimm Wolves MC Series. If you have not yet read the first books in this series, I highly recommend that you do. Not only is the series amazing, but each book continues from the one prior and the characters overlap from book to book. This book has action, suspense, mystery, drama, romance, humor, passion, romance, bikers, villains, and intrigue. The story centers around the characters of Celee and Dingo who met by chance on a dating app. Dingo is a prospect of the Grimm Wolves MC’s and trying to prove himself to them. He is smart, funny, sexy, strong, and willing to do anything to protect those he cares about. Celee is smart, courageous, sweet, and fun loving. Both characters come from dark and painful pasts that help them to better understand one another and brings them closer. When they meet the chemistry and passion between Dingo and Celee is undeniable and off the charts. The story grabbed my attention from the first few pages as Dingo and Celee are being pursued by some heinous villains who are after Celee and Dingo is determined to protect her at all costs. A high-speed car chase, gunshots, a car wreck, and a new furry companion for the duo happens within the first few pages. From there the tension is palpable as the twists and turns kept me captivated until the final pages. I loved how the characters from previous books came into play and how they all banded together to protect Celee. This was another great book by this talented author! I highly recommend this book, and this series!

These two!!! Wow do they have chemistry! It is literally leaping off the pages! That helped entrance me into the story and then I really just went along for the ride! This is the fourth book in the series and it is my second favorite. Forrest and Kiera are both amazing. Each one has their own thing going on and when they are together its fire! He has the whole vendetta going on then he gets involved with Kiera and maybe that vendetta is not as important as it once was. The many changes he goes through during this action packed story are wonderful. That epilogue was perfect and actually even before that (maybe the previous chapter) so sweet! Kiera really gets Forrest!

Another amazing book in this series – 8 books in and each one just gets better than the one before. I think this was probably my favourite of the series so far, even though I’m pretty sure I’ve said that after finishing each book. I was very taken with Master Sardinia, he was so dark, dangerous and oh so delicious! The dual POV provides a real depth to the story and the characters, you really do get to see things from both sides. I loved the connection between the characters and there was definitely a fair amount of passion and chemistry between them! I really cannot wait to read the next book! Whilst these books could be read independently I would 100% recommend reading them in order!

Super interesting! I was very drawn into this story, wondering what was going to become of Lucifer and finding out what the men of Eden Cover Manor were hiding. This was such a fun take on vampires. Lucifer is a stubborn one and luckily for him Mordecai seems to have taken a liking to him. At first I was confused about who was who with, Cristoff, Asa, Luthor, Emory, Mordecai, and Darius. In the end it all clicked for me once Lucifer made up his mind. I really hope there is going to be a follow up book because, I would really like to see where life takes Lucifer and the other men.

I really enjoyed this steamy romantic comedy. It was so well written that I laughed till I cried in parts. The author’s portrayal of Olivia was a really relatable character for me as a woman who is in the beginnings of menopause. I could sympathise with her with the hot flushes and brain fog but she’s an amazing determined woman who doesn’t let it stop her. I also loved Roman. His character was so likeable how he works so hard to make Olivia see what he sees that fact that she is an attractive hot woman no matter her age, weight or what she’s going through.
Olivia’s ex husband invites her to his wedding to show off his new younger bride. Even though Olivia doesn’t want to go she does for her kids. She knows there is no way she can compete with the bride to be and the thought of spending time in her ex’s company fills her with dread.
However her daughter and her friend have a plan. Why not fight fire with fire. And they don’t come hotter than hockey player Roman.
When Roman’s daughter asks him to be a fake date for her friends mum he doesn’t think twice about accepting. After all it’s a favour to his daughter. The plan is simple pretend to date this woman, make her look good in front of her ex and bride and then return to his life. But what happens when he realises that the “fake feelings” and relationship are becoming something more. For once in his life he has found a woman who wants him for him and not his fame or status.
What will happen after the wedding? Will they get the happy ever after they both deserve or will it just be a holiday fling.
I loved this story and I was willing them to succeed. Getting older isn’t fun for anyone but it was refreshing and exciting to read a story about a older couple having such sizzling chemistry and passion.

This story follows Adam and Hope. This is a contemporary romance novel that tells the story of love, loss, and second chances. It follows these two as they navigate through life’s challenges and discover the power of love. Adam was dealing with a loss and certainly did not expect to run into Hope again. Hope wanted Adam but the timing was not right. The second time though – maybe, just maybe, he could be hers.

This book was a hard book to put down. This book series has been amazing and keeps you wanting more at the end of every book. I do suggest reading the other books first but can be read by itself.

This book follows the stories of Shane and Winter. Shane has worked his whole life towards one goal but one night that all could change for him. One action with good intentions that could cost him everything he has worked for. As a son and brother, he just wants to make his family proud and follow his dreams. He is highly determined and goes for what he wants.

Winter came back to town with one goal. Which was to find answers to things that happened to her family a long time ago. She does not want or need any distractions and that is what men can be.

What happens when the person you collide with seems familiar? Can someone who you can’t place be a key factor in your life? Do opposites attract or will a war ensue?

Read this book to find out what happens with these two.

Sweet Vengeance (Mission Belles Book 3) by Pamela Gibson – Review by Ayla Phipps

Sweet Vengeance (Mission Belles #3)Sweet Vengeance by Pamela Gibson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vengeance has many degrees of outcomes. This is the first book I have read by Pamela Gibson and while I was intrigued by the synopsis, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I don’t usually read period books, but I had to give it a try because it sounded too interesting to miss. While this is the third book in the Mission Belles series each can be read as a standalone and I found no hindrance in not reading the previous two books. Dual perspectives of Elena and Sean.
Elena has four older sisters, before her younger brother Antoine was born, she was raised as the “son” her father always wanted. She was taught to hunt and defend her home and family but at age twelve that changed, at least for a time. When her father got ill, he made her promise to look out for her brother to teach him the ways of manhood so when time he would protect his family and land as she had before him. Only when she returns from hunting, she finds Carmelo, her brother’s friend in her home, her mother devastated and told the story of how her brother was killed by an American spy. Two years later Carmelo returns after her mothers passing and informs her of the man who stole her brother’s life. Sean Mitchell, once friends with Antoine and a spy, is now a horse trainer. He has always had a special bond with animals, now free to follow his own dreams a letter changes everything. His sister Mary Catherine, now Lolita Montero hasn’t been seen in a week, her place of work wrote him telling him he should come. Without hesitation Sean leaves for San Fransico, along the way thinks of a plan to find her or better yet how to find her. Elena was enamored with Sean when younger but now she wrestles with her vow to her mother and the long thought past feelings for the man she once admired. Sean is caught off guard when the sister of his former enemy appears and offers to help find his missing sister, but things become less clear over time. Is Elena his friend or foe, or is she something more?
Elena sought revenge, a life for a life was the vow she made to her mother but what will she do when the man responsible is right in front of her? Can Sean find his sister? What secrets will be revealed as they each follow their “plans”? The historic world of years long past shows another side of the gold rush. I was also drawn to this book as I was born in southern California and once sought vengeance for my murdered brother. But I digress the characters pain and determination with every “hiccup” gives power to the saying “god gives us what we need not necessarily what we want”. Elena wanted revenge but found something more, something worth living for. At the age of twenty-eight she was still unmarried and felt this mission would seal she never would be. Her final plan was to return to her family home and live out her life alone in solitude atoning for her actions. I plan to go back and read the previous books to see more into the worlds that the author brings to life on the pages and the characters that show strength beyond vengeance but of forgiveness.

The characters have to navigate secrets and betrayals and yet they seem to manage to do it with ease. Their connection is undeniable and it draws you into the book even more.

He is a prospect for the MC Grimm Wolves and works his butt off for them. Dingo is very reliable and when his club is tasked with keeping Celee safe he promises to do it with everything he is. Meeting Celee thru a chat room is not typical but when he finds out she needs help he knows his club is up to task. Celee is on the run from her father of all people and he has dangerous people everywhere. She is scared but somehow feels safe with Dingo. Dingo and Celee are broken people but have worked hard to get past their heartaches. Will they be able to take a chance on love and will Celee even survive her father to find out. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No Amends is a taut, F/F psychological suspense full of action, drama, mystery, intrigue, suspense, forbidden love, secrets, lies, deception, passion, and raw emotions. This book grabbed my attention from the first few pages and gripped me until the end. The story centers around the main characters of Tang and Dee who meet by chance and start a secret affair. Unbeknownst to Tang, their affair is not the only thing that Dee has been keeping a secret from her. When Tang’s live-in girlfriend, Layla, starts to suspect the affair Tang calls things off with Dee thinking that she can move forward and fix her relationship with Layla. Dee does not understand why Tang suddenly calls things off and refuses to fade into the background. When Dee suddenly ends up dead after a horrific car accident Tang is devastated and consumed with guilt. As it turns out, Dee is not the only one keeping secrets and running from the truth. As the investigation into Dee’s accident continues it starts to unravel secrets and lies that may have been better left hidden. Sweet Vengeance (Mission Belles Book 3) by Pamela Gibson – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Sweet Vengeance (Mission Belles #3)Sweet Vengeance by Pamela Gibson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An enjoyable and engaging historical romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Elena Santoro sets off for Northern California after her dying mother’s urgent plea to kill her brother’s murderer. Although Elena knows she has both the skill and training to accomplish this, she’s unsure if she actually has the nerve to kill a man who she once admired. Former spy turned horse trainer Sean Mitchell is cautious when Elena, a woman who he knows is both seductive and dangerous turns up. However, he’s confused by his sister’s disappearance and Elena is offering to help him search for her, but he’s not forgotten that her brother was once his enemy. Sean soon discovers that he has a mysterious enemy who is determined to find his sister before he does. As Sean and Elena work together to find his missing sister and elude their enemy their mutual attraction grows. Their deepening affection is worrying as the ghost of Elena’s brother will always come between them. Set amongst the chaos of the gold rush in San Francisco the author does a great job of bringing both the setting and the era vividly to life, by both the descriptive narrative and the added historical details. The intriguing storyline along with the likeable and relatable characters kept me hooked. Whilst I loved the chemistry between Elena and Sean I also liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. Although part of a series I happily read it as a standalone story, but having enjoyed it I am keen to read the previous books in this series now.

I didn’t realize that this was book 3 when I started reading it, but I will have to say that you don’t have to have read the other books to know what was going on. This book was great to be a stand-alone book, however I do not know about the other 2 books if they are able to read alone as while. this book was filled with historical events and details, that are intended into the events of the characters. This book was also filled with adventure with Elena on a quest to fulfil her mothers wish. The mystery that follows Sean with trying to find hi missing sister. It was filled with suspense and twists and turns that really kept me hooked into this book that I had to finish reading it. the character development was amazing to the fact I really felt like I know these people and were experiencing everything with them. I felt like I was right there in with the gold rush, that I really thought this could have been true for the time. This was an amazing read and if you like history mixed into a great story this is a book or series you should pick up.

Oh my goodness I could just climb into this cover and live on the land ! After reading the story between the pages I feel a little different though because it’s sad yet beautiful I know it makes no sense but so much sense at the same time 🙈🤷‍♀️🥰🤣

So Elena swears to her mother , on her deathbed , that she will avenge the death of her brother , a modern can not go unpunished after all and make no mistake Elena is no fading wallflower and has the know how and skills to take a man out ! The tough thing is that the man that is believed to have the bliss of her brother on his hands is someone she used to admire and hold in high regard ….

Sean was a spy but after time in prison he finds the company of horses and any animal for that matter better than the company of humans and he’s got the knack to work with horses and has earned himself quite the reputation…

I loved living through Elena and Sean and the writing style really made me feel like I was there and I regret not having read the first 2 books as well but ready assured I’m going one clicking ❣️📚
