Although a rather short read, Doctor D’s Orderly Affair by C.A. King certainly hit the spot! This quick, easy read was full of fun, wit, and humor. C. A. King simultaneously creates a wonderful story and setting in Eastport General, but realistic, relatable characters. The gossip mill at Eastport General runs rampant, much to the chagrin of Dr. Desmond Danielson, who wishes to forget events of his past. His chance encounter with Emily leads them both down a rabbit hole neither one is prepared for. Their story is endearing and charming, with a little bit of spice. I am looking forward to more books from C. A. King!

My father told me once that anything that gets your blood racing is worth the risk doing. I didn’t factor in that I have to face the tragic loss of my best friend, discover that my mother has Alzheimer and come face to face with a girl who broke my heart all those years ago.
Yet, coming back to my hometown in Tennessee—after being gone for ten years—leaving behind a racing career in the MotoGP world, I’d have to deal with the trials set before me in this small town. I’d rather take on the track, lose skin, break bones, and tear muscle than to make the decision that’ll change my life forever.

I thought my life is perfect. Working as a nurse, a boyfriend who’s a doctor, and friends I cherish dearly. Then, the second Deacon Saint comes back home, my ideal life shifts to utter chaos. My boyfriend turns out to be a jerk, I almost lose my job and I’m faced with losing my heart again to the man that broke into the first place.
Deacon shattered me before he left our town and now he thinks it’s water under the bridge and is determined to reclaim my heart. It’s going to take more than sweet talkin’, fast motorcycles, and good old Southern country charm to win me back.

What a terrific romance!! The chemistry is off-charts crazy. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. I had to prop my kindle and read doing whatever I could. The balance of spice and romance make the story so much fun. The characters are written with such detail and personality. The plot runs smooth all the way through. It’s a fun, quick read that I would recommend to any romance reader.

Amazingly original! This author always does a knockout job with this series. You feel like you are there with the characters. Your heartstrings are pulled. The characters are totally relatable. The plot runs smooth, not choppy at all. This one was a winner also. It is always good to read these because the author always reconnects you with previous characters from the other books in the series. The stories end up feeling like a community. It’s a great feeling for a book. From start to finish, you just don’t want to put it down. I would give it more than a 5 if I could.
Divine Vintage gripped me from the beginning. The whole concept of the series is entertaining. Tess opens her own vintage shop and the items she has for sale brings her back to the time from where they came. It’s quite a fun ride. Her characters are also realistic which makes loving them and hating them easy. Overall, quite an enjoyable read.

I simply loved this book and the story that it held! I have been a fan of this author for quite some time, but every time they write a book, my heart is full and happy. I loved the quirkiness of the characters in this one, it was a cute read, and had the prefect amount of sweetness.
Personally I loved how the setting of the town was made up. A town that loves Valentines Day and the love it brings. Now that is my kind of town! Graham and Lara were adorable together. Both came from different sides of the fence. Both in a bakery competition, I loved how competitive they were with one another. Those moments when they were not fighting for the win, they really had common ground that was well more than just common, a ground that held something they both really wanted, but were afraid to go after. I loved the town and the happy feelings it gave off to myself as the reader for the joy of Valentines Day. As I said the book had a good humor, and happy feeling as you read. And before I knew it, I had finished the book, I loved the story of Lara and Graham and wanted more! Loved this book!
The book had its own level of sweetness and brought on different levels of joy as you read. it was a quick and fun read. Highly recommend this book, no matter what time of year it is. If you have not have had the joy of checking out this author yet either, I highly recommend you do so as well! Both are must reads!

A story about True love that is Fairy Tale as well? That is right up my alley! This was a wonderful and beautiful read. i really fell in love with the concept of the story and the characters over and over again. The story had its own enrichment, but truly shows how we can prove how deep a love for someone goes.
I loved how Cathal and Eala were truly a symbol for what true love is suppose to be. Everything seems against them, literally constantly, but they want to again and again define those odds. And not give up. They want to be together, and get what they both want, and that is to be by one another’s side. To me, it would have been easier to give up than to fight to be together. They didn’t care about dangers they faced. I loved that aspect of this story, and it really moved me. I loved the fine details as well of this story, it was very visual and beautiful to me. I loved how each character was different than the rest, the side characters had their own definitions of themselves as well. I really had a great time reading this book, and enjoyed this book, I really loved it for all it was. Amazing read!
Highly recommend this book to everyone. I was really moved and touched by this boo. It was powerful and beautiful, and I could not get enough. I am a first time reader for this author as well, but this certainly will not be my last adventure. High recommendation from me for this book and author!

This is the third book in a wonderful series about life in a small town. This books’ main characters surround Dr. Franceen Lewis and Dr. Scott Carruthers. Franceen comes to town to assist a doctor who is a little overwhelmed with the caseload and escape her demons of a failed marriage. While there is instant attraction between the two, they must figure out how to work with each other in a new capacity. This book had many twists and turns while they figure out how they fit together and has a wonderful ending. I cannot wait to see what other amazing books this author has in store.

WOW this book was amazing, and I could not put it down! The way that this book was written had me awake all night needing to find out how their story ended. The main characters, Sindy and Ryan have amazing careers with things that have happened in the past that makes them wary of getting into relationships or being able to trust again. When their mutual friend suddenly passes their worlds collide and are flipped upside down. Though these two go through many trials and tribulations, they work together as a team to try and be successful in Bunya Junction. I cannot wait to read more books in this series as well as read more books by this author! She had a way of writing that made me feel like I was right there unfold before me. Fun and entertaining read This was an unexpected find. From page one I was drawn into a creative adventure. The writing is very easy to read and the story is delightfully humorous. With wacky, eccentric and crazy magic all rolled into a paranormal romance this is a worthy read. So many laugh out loud moments and of course, I have to mention Clyde. With great character development and a hilarious storyline I highly recommend.

Lara and Graham are two people thrown together in the goodness of romantic goodness (bakery goodness, that is). He’s opening a bakery/dating app; she’s coming home to heal from a bad breakup and to help her mom with the family bakery (his competition). Between the witty radio station conversations, the yummy recipes included (have to try some of these), and the just plain funny, romantic story, this is one story you just can’t piss. The chemistry is there. Her parents are your typical parents: Mom is chill, Dad is a grump. The town is Cupid’s Cove. The plot is simple and makes for a quick weekend read. Relatable and you’ll love the story. I recommend this book to all.

This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up from her. This author’s writing skills are such that her attention to details give her story a realistic feel. This book is no different. It is a second chance romance story where the characters pop and make the story come to life. I enjoyed how well written this story was and how engaging it was. I found this book to be fast paced and hard to put down. A story where three people meet and have a second chance at happiness. Life has been full of chaos in their pasts, will that chaos return and what will the future have in store for them? I enjoyed the growth of the characters and their chemistry with each other. They are connectable and are supportive of each other. I really enjoyed this story and what the characters brought to it. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved this quick paranormal romance! This author never disappoints. I really like how Lock didn’t just jump in and questioned things. Rex is so patient and understanding. Brix knows how to tell it like it is and take control when needed. The perfect best friend for this type of situation. If you’re looking for a good quick paranormal romance then this is it!
Doctor in the Outback is the third book in the Welcome To Bunya Junction series by Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet contemporary romance, set in a small town in the Australian Outback. The story is wonderfully woven with heartwarming emotion, humour, some drama, chemistry, and family dynamics. The series follows the Carruthers siblings, who each get their own book- Sindy (Book One), Jonas (Book Two), Scott (Book Three), and Yolanda (Book Four). This is Scott and Franceen’s story, and is one on my favourites of Ms. Flockton’s books, so far. We have met Scott in the previous two books, being the twin brother of Sindy. He is the Doctor in charge of the only hospital in the nearby town. He’s been kept so busy running the hospital that he has very little time for anything else. When he finally gets some help, it comes with different complications- the sexy alluring kind that he can’t seem to keep his mind off. Franceen Lewis moved to the outback for a fresh start after tragedy struck, and then her marriage failed. She just wanted to focus on her career and rebuilding a life for herself. She was totally unprepared for the intense attraction to her new boss, or the chemistry between them. But having experienced so much pain in her past, will Franceen risk it all for a chance at love again? This wonderful story is well worth the read to find out…. As always, I can count on Nicole Flockton to deliver a captivating story as I was pulled into another engrossing story that wouldn’t let me put it down till I had read every last word. Another winning recipe! Happy Reading!

It did take me a bit to get into, because I had to go back and remember some of the characters mentioned from previous books, as it has been a while since I’ve read them. This can be read as a standalone but you get more bang from this book when you read the other books first. This was entertaining and enthralling with a great storyline. What a great book! Really enjoyed reading how much Tess loved vintage things enough to open a store. Great twist in the story with paranormal aspects, a murder, some romance, and a connection to the past that may not have been truly shared until now. The book kept my interest and I devoured the story in just a couple of nights. The characters in the story are well written, the back and forth from present day to the past helped me understand the differences between the times. I would recommend this book to friends or anyone that loves a great mystery in a heartbeat.

I now want to spend the day lounging around and drawing tentacled lovers! This book was such a cute, fun read! The characters were relatable and the story was so easy to get sucked into. Not to mention, the romance was really cute. Lock is just going about life, doing his best when a late night gas stop changes his life. Nothing is the same after that. From gumballs, so octopi, to tentacles, this story was a hoot. I immediately thought Rex was a sweet baby angel and was on his side. I would have liked more in this world, but I absolutely would read again. If you are looking for a light, quick, funny book, I definitely recommend this one.
This contemporary romance was so beautifully written that I couldn’t put it down. Our main characters both show so much emotion, that you can’t help but relate to them, both have been hurt before but can they open themselves back up to love again? This story was so full of emotion, births, accidents, serious obstacles that you can’t help but feel like your on a roller coaster ride that’s full of wild twists and turns. Will put characters open themselves back up? Could a happy ending be worth risking a heart break again? You’ll have to pick up a copy of this book to find out for yourself!

I fell in love with this twist of several fairy tales. Cathal and Eala are just wanting to live a life together. He’s a prince and she’s trapped (and did I mention Queen of the Swans) in a cage. Well-written and engaging, the characters in this story will either win you over or you will hate them. You’ll find yourself rooting for our couple to get through their challenges. The characters in the story are described so well that you feel like you could know them. Like every fairy tale, your emotions will go up and down as the tale progresses. Loved it. I recommend this book.

I really enjoyed getting to know Emily and following her journey with Dr. D. Dr. D has a “reputation” at the hospital for one-night stands. This book caught my attention and kept it throughout. I am a first time reader for this author, this book was so darn addictive. I could not let this book be put down for even a second. I loved how addictive the story was, and how connectable the characters were. I was amazed, intrigued, and of course head over heels in love with the story this book held!
This book was a romance story that was completely different from past books that I have read. I loved how good the story was even when it was first developing. It was a deep and passionate and had the right amount of hot sauce that kept my senses tingling, and my emotions up to par when ever needed. It had everything. I loved how things went with this book and the story of Jeremy and Regan. they had that whirl wind romance, but with every strong wind, it is going to calm down. I loved how these two souls were faced with challenges, and literally, was at risk at losing everything, and it for sure seemed easier to walk away. My emotions were all over the place when reading, from happiness to anything less than joy. I could not put this book down, it held me good, and kept me interested, there was a lot turns here and there, and I had to keep reading to see what would develop next. Amazing hot read. Loved it so much!
This was such a good book. I loved how the story went, and the characters were so realistic, I felt this was all happening in real life. The book did not take me long to finish, before I knew it, I reached the final page and the final words. Just wow! Amazing read and very highly recommendation from me! A must read!

This is a very fun story to read. It’s has a great amount of humor in for such a short book. The plots and story lines work very well and the connection between the characters is immense. One of the things that pulls me into Namoi books is her writing style as it’s very fresh and unique to her.
When Lockwood needs something to keep him awake after a long day at work, the impulsive decision to get a gumball will change his life forever. From not feeling well, to a new eye and hair color, to being able to manifest objects that he is thinking about….Lockwood has no idea what is going on or how to control it. He quickly learns that there is a whole other world of supernatural creatures that exist…and that someone close to him has been hiding things from him for years. As the truth comes out, Lockwood must figure out how to deal with these changes…which requires him to make a decision that will change not only his life, but the future of an entire species.
This book was. a quick read…and I did not put it down until I got to the last page. There was so much going on in so few pages. I found myself enjoying all of the secondary characters and hoping everything turned out okay for Lockwood. Overall, an enjoyable story that is nothing like I’ve read before!
I have been a loyal fan to this author as well as this series for quite some time. I LOVE truly how each story is different, and upholds itself in a special way. The characters in this one were relatable, and wonderful all at the same time. The story was a beautiful read, and it was very realistic, and the story was connectable!
As with the other books in the series, the story is worthy with the turns the stories can and do take. I love that personally. This one was good in so many ways. Amara and Petro were hard not to love! Both career driven to get what they want in the world of business, but is that really what they want, when they agree to do a “pretending act” together, to help seal and sweeten the deal? I loved how their connections were felt, but ignored. And neither noticed what they had going on at first glance. What they had was real yes, but they had to work for it, and I mean really work for it! With all great things, sacrifices are not far behind. When it comes down t getting what you want, how can you be sure what that really is? There was a lot of character growth as well. And as the plot thickened, the walls between Amara and Petro seemed to decrease more and more. It was a wonderful read, that you get caught up in, and simply can not let go of once you begin reading! Highly recommend the book and series! Loved it!
Highly recommend the author and this series if you have not have had the wonderful moments to read this series or wonderful author as of yet! This story alone is a must read for sure. I felt a lot of emotions while reading, all good things. A high recommendation from me and for sure, a must read!

While Trey isn’t interested in visions, he does want to right the wrongs that led to his family having a well known legacy. As they investigate together, they are drawn together in more ways than one. Will Tess and Trey solve the mystery? Will they continue to foster their intimacy? Will the darker legacy of Trey’s family be reversed? This book is so well written, you will want to keep reading “one more chapter” to find out.

On the way to his mom and dad’s house late one night Lockwood King decides to stop at a corner gas station. Tired and not wanting to have caffeine because it’s so late he instead chooses a gumball. He finds it odd that the gumball is black because he’s never seen one before. He tries it anyhow and wishes that he hadn’t because he can’t believe how ghastly and disgusting the thing tastes. It leaves a horrendous taste in his mouth even after he spits it out. Lockwood thinks nothing more of it until he wakes up the next day and discovers some strange things. Little does Lockwood know that this one gumball will change his entire life.
Suddenly there’s something that he realizes is a little bit different about him. His eyes are changing color. His hair is turning color. Things just get weirder and weirder as suddenly before him appears a cigar smoking octopus named Clyde. Then Lockwood himself starts growing tentacles. What on Earth is going on?! He realizes that there are outside forces at work, and it must be some sort of magic. With the help of his best friend, he starts delving into the mystery of what is happening to him.
This book was an interesting read filled with magic, laughs, wackiness and some truly bizarre things. I sat down and read it from cover to cover in one sitting. It was just such an intriguing read that I had to sit and find out what was going to happen next in this wacky world of this poor guy named Lockwood. It was an amazing, wacky, fun, and creative book by a fantastic author and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sweet romance What an introduction to the town of Bunya Junction. I really loved meeting the locals and following Sindy and Ryan’s journey. The setting is awesome being from Australia myself, and it felt like I was there. This was a very sweet but mature romance which had its fair share of drama and misconceptions. The writing is easy to read and the story draws you in. Absolutely brilliant series starter.
