So imagine you being able to touch a piece of old clothing and all of a sudden having visions of that clothing and the owner and their past at that time. How awesome is that? Tessa ended up owning her own vintage store full of old clothing that she has seen visions of. What she didn’t expect was to go to a runway show of vintage clothing and the dress she wears is of their family past murder that us different than told. Trey on the other hand is not sure how to understand, but if it helps understand what happens, then he will help. What happens between them and understanding the scenario of what truly happened in the past is such a fun mystery read.

This is my first book by this author and I was truly captivated. I loved how all the elements flowed together to make it amazing. This is one of my top historical mysteries I have read in a while. I found myself trying to find out what happens next before I could read it. The author’s knowledge of the past truly shines in this book. I loved it.

Tess Burton has started a new life for herself in a new city doing something she has always dreamed of, vintage clothing. The one thing she didn’t expect was that she would begin having visions that go with the clothing. When Tess does a fashion show in an old mansion she is plunged headlong into a murder-suicide vision that takes her on a quest to find the hidden answers.

Tess meets Trey, descendant of the accused murderer and though the sparks fly between the two, Trey is reluctant to delve further into the mystery. Once she convinces him to let the visions take them both and see where they lead, the relationship between the two blossoms.Can Tess and Trey live out the lives that the dead couple never would.

This was a quick read for me but very enjoyable with a unique storyline.

I absolutely ADORED Divine Vintage!! This is a modern romance with a historical, paranormal twist. The main romance is a slow burn but oh what a burn! Genuine sparks fly as these two unravel mysteries and fine each other in the process. Throw in an age-old murder mystery and you are hooked! Definitely a page-turner perfect for any reader!

Divine Vintage by Sandra L. Young. This was such a fun read. Its the author’s debut novel and I can’t wait to read more. It’s the story of Tess who has opened her vintage clothing store which has always been her dream. She got more than she bargained for though because along with the clothing she begins to be overcome with visions about a murdered woman and her wedding dress. Trey is another model who starts having visons after modeling the vintage clothing. Between their visions they get wrapped up in a old murder/suicide and they try to solve it. There is also a romance between Trey and Tess so you get 2 romances and a mystery. The Victorian Era comes alive in this book and I truly felt I was there. Once you start reading this book you won’t be able to put it down. Get yourself a copy and read Divine Vintage today!

Please read the trigger warnings before reading this book!

Road Rage is a very quick read! Gem is a strong lead female through out the book, she holds her own and takes no shit from anyone but her past has caused her to be this tough woman. She wasn’t given much of a choice to be what’s she has become. You get a look into her past, the pain and trauma she has been through while watching her open up to her love of racing. I do wish the books were longer, I felt there was so much opportunity for more character development and more details to the story but it’s still good as it.

This is the first time I am reading this author and boy what a journey she has taken me on. I loved the historical fantasy world that was created. I really love historical romances and the drama added into this fantasy world just added to the excitement. I just couldn’t put this book down. I really didn’t want it to end but I still wanted to see how all would turn out.

I love how there are mythical creatures along with the real world. I like how there is a back story and how all is relient on the main character. I like how the author has chosen to go back in history in Japan. I also love that my interest was peaked and kept as the drama unfolded. I hope to read more from this author in the future.

The first thing that I want to say about his book is, that although the author states that it is for 18+ in the blurb, I think it should come with a warning that it contains non-consensual sex as this could be a trigger for some. I know that MC books tend to be violent and most readers would anticipate this, I still think that a warning is required for non-consensual sex.
It took me a while to get into this book. I don’t think it’s anything that the author did. I have read many MC books but about 95% of those are all by the same author and this book was very different (but not in a bad way). Once I got into the book, I was gripped by the storyline and did really enjoy the book.
The author has done a great job in writing the characters. Some are very likeable and others I really did not like, but I’m sure that’s what the author had in mind. The main character, Gem, is a fascinating character and I could have read so much about her, especially her past which I think would be an explosive read.
I really did enjoy this book and I’d definitely recommend it to others to read.

I always find dual timeline stories interesting. This was a love story and mystery entwined in one. I absolutely loved the description of the garments and the vintage aspects. While I do like paranormal, sometimes the psychic thoughts got in the way of me staying engaged. It was a good debut novel by this author.

I seriously love this author!! Loved this story!! I wish it was longer, it was so excellent. This author is so creative, bringing in the elements of romance and paranormal with some drama thrown in, and let’s not forget the bits of humor sprinkled in. The book did not seem rushed at all, everything flowed nicely. Lockwood and Rex are the cutest together, I did feel the hurt when Lockwood was deceived after all he was going through, but sweet Rex came in and made everything clear. Brixley is a good best friend and seems like a fun time, I would really like to see a book on her and Xyris! I love an epilogue and this one was sweet and perfect for and ending to Rex and Lockwood’s story. Does this book make me want to get an octopus tattoo… maybe!!

I loved this book. Lock and Brix were two characters that you could relate to even with them being so different. Just remember, watch out for those gumballs. It all started with a gumball. This author is one of my favorites. She writes fun stories that have plots with twists and turns. This story did not disappoint. A quick read for those snowy weekends. I recommend you give this a shot.

What a brilliantly written book. The characters were relatable and well developed and the storyline intriguing. This is a mystery wrapped up in history with a paranormal twist. Tess is an easy MC to like and Trey is charming. Together they venture into the unknown to seek answers and discover so much more along the way. I loved the author’s writing style and look forward to reading more of her work.

A Spider in the garden is definitely a story filled with fantastical creatures I have never heard of. I’ve read many stories about vampires and werewolves but this was the first with day walkers and web makers. I actually heard of day walkers but this story made them more than just vampires that walked in the sun.I absolutely love that the author gave these creatures such a beautiful beginning in the garden of Eden.
The relationships that were created in the story were so beautiful. Unexpected but so beautiful. The chemistry between the main characters was hot and steamy made you want to keep reading to find out where it would end up.

This story is pretty interesting. On one hand we have an old murder mystery to solve, while a romance may be brewing. I enjoyed the vintage aspects of the book. The clothing, language and architecture seemed spot on. The author did a great job with their research. Despite the constant flashbacks, the story is very easy to read and follow along. It kept me busy entertained from page one.

Divine Vintage is the debut novel by Sandra L. Young. This is an interesting mystery, with a bit of a paranormal edge that gave the story an extra element of intrigue. Add in some history, a long past murder, investigation, romance, and a few dramatic developments- and we get a story that proves Ms. Young is an author to watch out for in the future.
When vintage clothing store owner, Tina, comes across a vintage outfit, it comes with a built in mystery. Visions of a past crime begs to be solved and leads our MC’s on quite an intriguing investigation, as they work to solve the crime and restore a family’s reputation.

This was a thrilling quick read of murder, love, and hope. Tess having just opened her dream store in Michigan City, Indiana gets the opportunity to model a early 1900s gown which ultimately leads to her helping to solve a 100 year old murder mystery. Trey, who was simply helping his dear relative Esther, finds himself also entranced when he begins seeing the same visions as Tess. This book flawlessly moves from modern times to the past. I found myself spellbound as the story of Phoebe and Edward is told through the eyes of Tess and Trey. You will find yourself on the edge of your seat each time a vision arises. I thought the last chapter was an after thought but it did not take away from the solved mystery and left me feeling happy This is a beautiful love story blended with mystery, hope for the future, and so much more.

I have read quite a few of this authors books and I have enjoyed them but this book WOW it got me. This is a fast-paced romance with great characters and an awesome plot. This is the first book in this series and with each new book we meet different authors.

Dr D is a pediatrician and has quite the reputation around the hospital. There are rumors running around like rampant and Dr. D hates these rumors so he does not have relationships with co-workers because such rumors.

Then Dr. D meets Emily and everything changes. Emily has heard the rumors about the doctor but she doesn’t believe them after all rumors are that rumors. So, what happens after a hectic day and a nice dinner?

Will Emily find out if the rumors are true? Will this be one night or will one of them want more? Can they overcome odd and be together?

You need to read the book to find out what happens…..

There are books where the story line is something you have already read about, but how it is presented makes a lot of difference. This is a historic romance, about the marriage of convenience, something which is often witnessed in historic dramas, but what makes this book interesting are the characters and the way the book is presented.

Noah is given a vast promise of land, but with one condition, he has to marry with in few weeks, otherwise he has to forfeit all his fortune. Mary is in neck deep trouble with her father who cares only about his pigs and is willing to give away his daughter to the first man knocking on the door. So, when a church suggests their alliance, both Mary and Noah readily agree to a marriage of convenience. Atleast Mary is with a mindset that she will annul the marriage once the contract period is over.
But when it comes to the heart, it is a completely different matter altogether. Will these two end their marriage and go their own ways , or their hearts have something to say? That is the plot of the story.

If you are looking for a nice smooth romance read in the season of love, this is a book to read. A refreshing romance with an endearing lead pair. I enjoyed it.

You can definitely tell the author has an affinity for vintage fashion in her debut novel! For a new author, she seamlessly is able to go back and forth from past to present, all while keeping the reader on their toes as they wonder what is to be revealed next. She has amazing attention to details and any mystery fanatic will love the writing style she has.

The story of Tess and Trey has me hooked from the beginning. The tension between the two characters made it that much more enjoyable to read, and I was happy with how their romance flourished throughout the book. I definitely look forward to reading more of this author!

Well this author definitely has a new fan in this reader. This was such a wonderful mix of genres, which I would say included paranormal, historical, romance and mystery, that you are always involved and captivated by the story and its characters from the first word to the very last. The descriptive writing talent of this author is just beyond my powers of description. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would!

I really enjoyed this book. As someone working in the medical field I jumped on this book because I knew it would have characters that I would enjoy and could somewhat understand and relate to and I was not wrong about that! Plus with its short length it was easy to read in one sitting.
And of course, some steamy romance involving a doctor, YES PLEASE! I really enjoyed the connection between Emily and Dr Desmond and I cannot wait to read more of this series!

Wow, I highly recommend this book, it was truly enjoyable. If you like a mystery wrapped up with some romance and paranormal feels, definitely check this book out. I loved how I am engaged from present day of Tess and Trey but also get wrapped in a century old murder-suicide mystery. When both Tess and Trey model vintage clothing from the couple that were involved from a century old crime, Tess sees visions. These visions really open the story up…..and I just really could not put this book down!! So well done…..

Beautifully written with luscious imagery, Reverence of a Ronin is a gorgeous story. Aia is a geisha-in-training, learning the ways of beauty, poise, and companionship. She desires nothing more than to obtain the knowledge and skill necessary to be the epitome of geisha, even if it pains her to do so. Then she meets tall, dark and mysterious Nen, who fights enemies she didn’t know existed and sets her heart to fluttering. When he saves her and her sister from a sudden threat, her heart opens to him and she is surprised by the depth of her feelings for him. Is a future with him possible, and is she willing to give up on her dream to find out?

The story flows well, and the plot is interesting. I would have liked to see a bit more character development to flesh out the cast and what makes them unique. All in all though, a good historical romance with spirit and heart.

When Gem gets the attention from a hot guy while she’s working, she is flattered and excited to maybe try this dating thing again. When she finds out he is a member of the local MC, she is hoping this time will be different than the last. She learns quickly that it isn’t. She is quickly involved in a world of bike racing, sex, violence, and having to prove herself time and time again. Is this the life she wants? Or is it time to walk away, again, and start over?

This book pulls you in from the beginning and does not let you go. There is so much action and there never feels like there is a moment of calm. Gem is a strong lead character with a backstory that will break your heart…all while reinforcing how strong and resilient she is. Doc is such a good character that I found myself getting attached to pretty quickly. Overall, a really good story that had my attention from beginning to end.
