**Trigger warning** this story highlights topics that may be hard to read. OMG Red has a family, so the world has shifted full circle in this story. This book picks up exactly where part one ends. This is such a beautiful part two too the series. The author really captured the dynamic that is found within this read. I cried. Red has everything he dreamed of which I better then winning the lottery. The character development is amazing I love the secondary characters just as much as Red and let me tell you….. I would not mind a spin off. The flow of this story has created a world that can stand alone. I recommend read book one but yo can read this alone. This author is sophisticated in the plot and the underlining story it makes you think. This was a book I will reread and recommend forever. Red deserves the world and I believe there is a moral to this story that stretches further then fiction Beautiful, five stars.

Part 2 of Red’s Peril was not quite what I was expecting, but it was definitely not disappointing. Manda Mellett writes so well, you can’t help but enjoy her books. The Prez’s Old Lady delves deeper into the relationship between Red and Cheryl, or Cher as she is called now. Not only does this book answer some questions from the first book, but it also explores the ups and downs the pair must face in their new journey together. Manda Mellett also adds some more information regarding MCs as well as exploration into the LGBTQ+ community. The struggles in this book are real and relatable! I definitely cannot wait to explore more of the Satan’s Devils MC!

The 3rd book in the series is about Stefano and Emiliana which captivated me from the beginning. Each of them has suffered in the past Stefano by his father’s hands and Emiliana when she was kidnapped and tortured by human traffickers. These experiences have made both of them stronger because of it. As with the other books in this series, I love reading about each couple and finding out how or when they knew they found the one. You can feel the love between Stefano and Emiliana in the careful way they have shown each other how they feel as teens and even now that they are adults.
I have read many books by this author but I think this series is my favorite. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Yet another fabulous mafia book by what is quickly becoming one of my favorite favorite authors. As with the previous two installments in this series this author gives us fantastic characters, a mysterious and thrilling plot, and of course a sizzling romance. Our main characters in this story are the sexy Stefano Rossi and the beautiful Emiliana Vitale, they have been dancing around their romance for quite some time, but can they finally be together now that it’s time for Stefano to take over? Before we can find out there is a snitch to deal with, but this author loses no time in keeping her readers in her story with mystery of who can or can’t be trusted. Full of action, angst, twists, mystery, and romance this book will grab you from the beginning and won’t let go until the end.

Born in Darkness is the third book in the Mafia Elite series. I’ve been really enjoying this series so far, as well as other books by the same author such as the Gray Ghost series, so I was really excited to read it! The Mafia Elite series centres around the Italian-American Mafia, in particular the young adults who are coming of age and finding their place in their dangerous but glamorous world. There are power struggles, deception and plenty of action! Born in Darkness focuses on Emiliana and Stefano, who we’ve gotten to know in earlier books. Emiliana is great – she’s a keen cook and strong fighter, particularly when using knives. She’s still haunted by past traumas, but with her brother’s help has channelled this into training so she can defend herself. She does, however, continue to experience PTSD, particularly as it becomes clear that she’s still not entirely safe. This is a real page-turner, with readers being given enough clues to try and figure out for ourselves who might be leaking information to those trying to harm Emiliana and her friends. There’s never a dull moment! And it’s fun catching up with the couples we’ve gotten to know in earlier books – Max and Lil, and Enzo and Sofia. This is another five-star read for me! I would definitely advise readers to start at the beginning of the series, with No Way Out. I’d recommend it to fans of action-packed romance!

Another addictive story from this author. Right from the start, the story had me totally invested. The story has forbidden love, action, high stakes, and two main characters that are so easy to root for. The back stories for both main characters were so sad. Experiencing Emiliana’s trauma and her determination to move past it was heart wrenching. Stefano is a sweat baby Angel, but his father is another story altogether. Each character was well written, and the series just gets better with each book. I love, love, loved this love story, and am excited for the next! Also, this time I made much better use of the character glossary at the start, so didn’t have to try and remember who everyone was from the last two novels. Definitely recommend reading books from this author.

This is a fantastic Christmas read. The author writes a story that lets you feel all the emotions the characters are feeling. The story left me with the warm, fuzzies (it must have been all the gingerbread). You’re going to have to read the story to find out about that. A nice cup of hot chocolate, a warm fuzzy blanket and this book would make for a nice winters read. I loved the sweetness and the adventure of the story. The personality of the characters was such that you could relate to them. Mama just had me missing my grandma. Now get out there and buy this story. You’re going to love it. I would give it more than a 5 if I could, that’s for sure.

Though this is book five, all the books in the series can be read as standalones.
Amber has always hated the holiday season and honestly I can’t say that I blame her. She has. Pretty traumatic past and that really can do a number on you. Giovanni has been through some tough times recently but still brings the magic of the holidays for his daughter. Giovanni invites Amber to spend the holidays with his family. Will things develop between them or will Amber keep to herself?
This was such a good quick read. I was bummed it was over so soon! The characters are great and there’s lots of emotion!

A Cold Creek Christmas: A single dad, small town holiday novella is the fifth book in the Reigning Hearts Book. I won’t go into much detail because it is a quick read and I don’t want to give anything away. I have enjoyed other books in this series and was excited to get my hands on a holiday romance. The main characters Amber and Gio are a great contrast in personalities and feelings towards each other. Amber is a holiday grinch and Gio is starting over as a single dad. The two are wonderful and had me falling in love with their story. The only downfall of this book is that I was wanting more. I always enjoy reading books from this author and look forward to reading more in the future.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!! This is Stefano and Emiliana’s story. Put together by this amazing author. This being the third book in this series. Just goes to say she has so much more to offer. But! Before you start this one, make sure to read the first two. Here is a Mafia Romance that should not take place. But the heart wants what it wants. I found myself intrigued by this book. I could not turn the pages fast enough. It’s filled with Romance, Suspense, Action and even Mafia politics. Your heart will be broken and healed in one book. The characters are strong and play along with the author’s mind. Emiliana is a strong woman, and nothing can stop her. Stefano knows what he needs to get done. So if I stop here you get no spoilers. I just think you should give this series and this author a go. You won’t be disappointed. Now I have to wait for the next in this series.

Mixed feelings for this one, I was anticipating reading this ever since I finished the first one and that cliffhanger. I like Red and Chery’s relationship and where that was heading and then we had the child thrown in and it felt like a huge chunk of this book fell on about then instead of Red and Cheryl which is what I was hoping. The book was still okay I enjoyed reading it for the most part and the book was brilliantly written.

Not many books keep me awake wantimg to finish but I could not go to bed until I finished the book. Another fantastic installment in this series. The book follows Emiliana and Stefano as they navigate their growing feelings while trying to protect the people they love. I don’t know how this series continues to create such strong emotions with each turn of the page. I found myself growing to love each character more and more. The shock at the end just made the book all that much better. I cannot wait to continue reading the next installment in the series.

This was a nice, quick Christmas read. Perfect this this time of year! There is a lot of sweetness mixed in with just the right amount of heat from the main characters. Amber is Cold Creek’s Christmas grinch until she meets Gio, a father to a 6-year-old little girl, Talia, who adores the holidays with her dad and Great Grandma. You do get good backstory of the reason Amber doesn’t enjoy the season and how Gio became a single father. I really enjoyed this story and how the characters start to see things through a new perspective and shows the true meaning of Christmas and the season of giving.

The mystery in the book was done great, you could always feel it. Great descriptions and away with writing that makes you feel like you’re there! This book kept me on my toes and always thinking. Dies it have soft moments? Of course but when the boys or the girls become offended or ticked off?? Wait for the fallout and see who is left standing!
Stefano and Em were both characters I was waiting to find out more about. Each has had a…lets say difficult…time in the past years. Then to see how they *feel* for each other. I LOVEd it! Especially when the others get involved.
Overall another smash by this author. I would recommend reading them in order for the best understanding of whats going on. I can’t wait for more! Jan 2022….hurry please

Unequivocally brilliant Alpha mafia men and strong resilient women make this a winning series. This book is filled with romance, action, drama and suspense with strong family ties bringing it all together. Each book gets better and better. We finally get behind the scenes with Stefano and Emiliana in this book and I was not prepared for how ruthless Stefano could be. Took my breath away. This can be read on its own but reading the first two books will help you to really understand and appreciate the story so much more. Highly recommended series.

Fall to Pieces is a intense Mystery Suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next. Once I started there was no putting it down. I pretty much tuned everything around me out and focused on this story. This is a fairly new author to me and I look forward to reading her other books. Detective Lexi works for a department that is working against her but that’s not stopping her from trying to bring a child killer to justice. She’s partnered with Detective Xavier who is there to determine if she’s truly capable of doing her job but things turn a bit intense. These two team up to solve the case while putting their lives in extreme jeopardy. As they go along they realize there’s more to the relationship . This story is packed with action mystery, secrets and much more. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can tell you, you won’t be disappointed I sure wasn’t.

Amber hates Christmas the smell she even detest. Giovanni is about to take over his family heritage as a single dad. I am shocked at how much detail the author managed to convey in such a short book. Poor Amber I feel for her. This is such a sweet book although it left me wanting more once it was finished.

In the prequel to this book, Red’s Peril: Part 1, we were introduced to the characters of Red and Cheryl. They had met completely by chance on one of Red’s stops along his journey to finding himself. Cheryl was a waitress in a diner that Red stopped at to have a bite to eat and the two of them felt an immediate attraction to each other. Acting on impulse, Cheryl left everything behind to ride off into the proverbial sunset with Red on his motorbike. When it wasn’t everything that she had hoped it to be, Cheryl became spooked and cut their journey short.
Neither saw the other again until by pure chance they ran into each other in Vegas. Even though 15 years had passed neither had stopped thinking about the other and wondering what could have been. Both Red and Cheryl have attempted to move on with their lives over the years but have regrets for leaving things the way that they did all those years ago. With no way of contacting each other through the years they had no idea of what could have been or if things could have worked between them.
Now that Red has popped back into Cheryl’s life, he’s not the man she was expecting. He’s now president of a Satan Devil’s MC and she knows that isn’t the life that she wants. She’s always been an upstanding citizen and never broken the rules and has no intention of starting now. The problem is that they have both lived with regrets for the past 15 years over what could have been. Cheryl deeply regrets the decision that she made about walking away and wonders if there’s any way that they can be together. Cheryl must decide If it’s worth it or if she should just give up all hope of him being the man that she wants him to be and just move on.
I fell in love with Red in the first book and loved everything that he stood for. Most would not find a redhead sexy but somehow Red was not only desirable but also a nice guy that would protect those that he loved at all costs. The first book left us on a cliffhanger as we wondered what was going to become of Red and Cheryl. Part 2 picked up right where the first book left off and immediately drew you back into the storyline.
I have loved everything that I have read by this author, and she never fails to disappoint. The characters are well-rounded, and you instantly fall in love with them. In book one we learned that neither Red, nor Cheryl, were perfect or flawless which makes them more believable as characters. In this book we are also introduced to Zeke who is a non-binary character. I fell in love with their character and admired their strength. The storyline is amazing and leaves you wanting to read right to the very end. This book is a must read!

My high school experience is nothing like I’d imagined.
Brock had been my best friend since we were four years old. We were inseparable. Or so I thought. In our early teens, our friendship started to feel like something more, something I desperately wanted.
Then I was betrayed by him, along with Victoria, the girl who had made our duo into a trio. Blindsided by the accusation that I was a traitor. Bullied and ostracized for three years, all for something I never did.
All I want to do is keep my head down and make it through senior year. I miss Brock every day, even though he has made my high school days miserable. Unlike him, I can’t just forget our past, or the bond we had. And even after three years, no guy has ever made me feel the way he did.
When Rylan arrives and becomes the new star of the football team, I finally find myself with a friend and ally. Through him, I see glimpses of my former best friend. The more I soften toward Brock, the more confused I become. My head is screaming at me to stay away, but my heart still wants him. Which one do I trust? And will I live to regret it?

As a survivor of sex trafficking, all Emiliana wants to do is get on with her life and move forward with the only man she has ever wanted, Stefano. Stefano is the son of a ruthless mafia boss and wants to get out from under his thumb. With attempts on Emiliana and her friends, and Stefano’s dad wanting him away from Emiliana, they must figure out what is going on and who is responsible. Opinion This is a great series. I would highly suggest you start at book one and work your way through. The series is dark and covers topics that may make the faint of heart squirm. However, the way the story is written is fabulous and intriguing. The author has a back and forth between past and present day where the characters are remembering what had happened. This, above all else, shows the steady interest of Emiliana and Stefano to each other. I highly recommend this book.

It is always been one of my favorite things to find new authors and after reading this story, I will definitely be looking for more from this author. This book was gripping right from the very start, while I am any a huge fan of physiological thrillers, this one just kept me guessing from one page to the next and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. This book had so many elements that I just couldn’t physically believe it. Some elements include fantastic characters including Neve and Con, a mysterious but incredible story line, a fabulous romance, and even some humor. So If your looking for a great new mysterious story look no further.

This was such a fun and sweet Christmas read! I never hesitate to read anything from this author, or this series as I love to visit Cold Creek and when I saw we were getting a Christmas novella in for the series I was super stoked! This little novella packed quite the punch too! We get such a fun tale about Amber and Gio, and Talia, Gio’s daughter. Amber is this huge grinch and that makes this have some major laugh out loud moments to balance the ooey gooey sweet moments that blend perfectly with your sweet holiday drink of choice while you devour this read. I loved how this read like the perfect holiday movie with that sweet ending that just melts your heart, it is exactly what I needed this holiday season. I can’t wait to see what we get next!

This is a beautiful Christmas romance story. It is book 5 in the Reigning Hearts Series. I love all these stories set in a small town where people find love. This books was especially enjoyable as its based around the Christmas season and I personally find Christmas one of the most romantic times of year. I love the characters of Amber and Gio. Amber is a strong independent woman. She is also the typical grinch around Christmas and has a deep hate of it because of her past. Gio on the other hand loves Christmas and wants to share this job with Amber. To show her how wonderful it can be. The attention and chemistry between them is instant and passionate. When Gio offers for Amber to spend Christmas with his family, will she take a leap of faith and embrace the season and the chance of love or will she turn her back and remain cold just like the snow.

Wow, was a major word playing through my mind while I read throughout this entire novel. I absolutely had no idea what I was going to be getting into with this one because this is a new author to me but I just knew I needed to see what it was all about when I saw the cover and some teasers. I am glad that I dove in without hesitation because this novel really just threw some wild ideas out there that I loved. It had so many things going on but managed to keep things flowing flawlessly. We have the mental health and sinister side of things building suspense. Then you have romance and intrigue building along with our main character. You would think all this gets to be too much but really it doesn’t and I was simply left with wanting more. I can’t wait for book two and to find out what will come next.

So here we have it the final book in this amazing series and what a book it was! I think probably my favourite book overall and I definitely didn’t want it to end. I was really excited to see where the author was going to take this final book and she definitely didn’t disappoint. I was completely captivated from beginning to end there was just so much going on that I couldn’t put the book down at all and read it in one sitting. I don’t think I was expecting Lazarus to steal my heart but her certainly did! The author had clearly taken so much time with the characters in this story because there were times where their words just leapt of the page with such depth of emotion. This really was a fantastic ending to this series and one that I 100% recommend (both book and series!

What a Book! This has a great story plus its very informative. I loved seeing Red get his ending. He is still the rough and tumble Prez but he has that other side for his old flame and kid. These two had a long road to haul before everything gets settled down. I enjoyed all the ups and downs.
This does cover a subject I really did not know much about. Everything was explained extremely well. This was an eye opener for me and probably will keep me thinking into the future.
I loved seeing all the members from the other clubs. And Dang if Drummer doesn’t still have that edge to him when riled. I loved hearing that in my head. The epilogue really made me smile!
Overall an excellent conclusion to this story. I was worried with it being two parts but the author outdid herself with this story.

This new to me author delivers a great read!! From the first page I was caught up in the unravelling story. With twists and turns, political intrigue and believable situations this book has it all. All set in Washington D.C., such a hotbed of intrigue and dirty players.. I loved the interaction between the main characters, really hoping there will be a Book 2!!
