What a way to round out such an incredible series. This book has definitely got to be the best out of them all and for me it took this series to a whole new level. It was such an engaging book. Lazarus is an enigmatic character and i was enthralled by him. The whole of this book was so exciting to read. Even though I didn’t want the story to end I just could not stop reading. This is an autnor that I always pick up without hesitation and this book showcases why. Another fantastic story and I am already looking forward to rereading the whole series.

This book is unlike any I have ever read, and I loved it for that reason but also many more. This storyline was so interesting and fully intriguing.
I really appreciated how this author had me hooked from the very first chapter, the premise of the story was so intriguing and I love how the author managed to continue to create intrigue the whole way through. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering how everything was going to play out.
This was my first book by this author but it will not be my last, I look forward to reading more of this series as it continues and I will absolutely be going back to read her other series.

I loved this book, the story was compelling and kept you interested in more than one way! I was very curious to what would happen next, as well as how things unfolded, how things would lead to the next event in the plot. The author did an amazing job with these characters and the story line! Loved it!
For me my biggest thing I really loved how it came together was the growth of the characters. Not just as an individual, but as a group as well. To back that thought up, watching Lexi and Xavier grow as characters was amazing. Lexi I personally did not think too highly of her from my first impression, I will admit though that changed as I read through. Xavier I did instantly feel drawn to at the first glance. When these two were together working together, despite their differences, they grew as people within in each other as well! The author for sure had a strong ability to do that, it was very well done and realistic!
The story itself kept me very much interested. The dup was a nice addition to the plot as well. There was a lot of suspense for me regarding this book, which I loved! I found this book not all that predictable, even at moments where I thought I could guess the next event, I was mainly wrong haha. I loved how the author has written a smooth read which was defiantly a triumph of a story! Amazing read!
Wonderful read and very much well done writing. The author did a great job on this wonderful story and book they have created. I enjoyed the read as well as the adventure I got to partake on. I wish there was a continuation to this novel, as I did not want it to end. Highly recommend this enjoyable read!

This is the last book in the series and I’m so sad about that. These books have all been amazing and gripping stories and this one was no different. In this story we follow the final brother Lazarus King.
Lazarus is the oldest brother and he is the main person still out to get his father. With his brothers now settled with partners his focus is solely on protecting them and their loves and making sure the man who is a threat to them is stopped. However he plans to do this alone. He doesn’t want his brothers involved and at risk and likewise he doesn’t want to risk any one else.
What he didn’t plan on was the love of his life being the fiesty doctor Sasha. Sasha is strong willed and just as determined to protect the man she loves as much as he wants to protect her.
Can they work together to stop the main causing them danger? Will Lazarus let his brothers and Sasha in even though its dangerous? Or will Sasha rebel against Lazarus’s protection and potentially put them all in danger?

This is the 5th book in this amazing series. It is classed as a novella but it’s quite a long novella. I’ve loved this author for a few years now and have loved every book in this series so far so was excited to get another book to lose myself in. I certainly did lose myself in this book. I just kept on reading and did not want to put it down. This is the story of Amber (a total Christmas hating grinch) and single dad Gio who loves Christmas time. I absolutely loved reading about Amber and Gio. Both of them are amazing characters and I was totally rooting for them to have a much deserved HEA. This book has one thing that I really love and that is an adorable kid. Gio’s daughter Talia is such a sweet little girl that you just have to fall in love with her. I’m sure it’s more due to Talia that Amber began to see Christmas in a whole new light. I’m completely amazed at how this author manages to write such amazing romance stories with fantastic characters that I just lose myself in and I just can’t wait to read whatever wonders she dreams up next.

I absolutely adore books by this author and this one did not disappoint! I am so glad that this book was my first read of December. What a sweet love story between Amber, Gio and essentially Talia as well. The story was short and flowed very nicely. It wasn’t burdened with unnecessary drama to take away from the true intention of the story. The ending was beautiful and the overall arc of the story was well done. I cannot wait to read more stories by this author, I haven’t been disappointed yet!

I’ve got to say, from the first few pages of this book I did not think that I was going to like Lexi, I found her character too harsh and brash and a little bit off-putting, she jumped off the page a bit like a punch to the face. But as the story went on I guess I softened towards her, and as I learnt all the things she had been through, her feisty and blunt behaviour made sense. I say all this because, honestly, good or bad reaction to a character, if a writer can really make me feel like they are real, then hats off to them and Flade’s characters felt real. Flawed and frustrating, annoying and harsh to each other but also resilient in the face of all the crap that gets thrown at them.
Lexi and Xavier (Did make with think of Professor X hehe) must work together to solve the murder of a boy but both of them are playing secret cards pretty close to their chests, especially Xavier whose real purpose for sticking so close to Lexi is making sure that she is doing her job properly. In spite of all the secrets and suspicions the pair find themselves developing feelings for each other, which means that things get pretty tangled and messy quickly.
Thoroughly enjoyed this read. Flade is pretty darn awesome at this whole penmanship malarky. Right from the first sentence, I was gripped by her characters and by the world she has created. A fabulous mystery and romance for you to sink your teeth into.

Fall to Pieces by Becky Flade. This a new-to-me author, so I was excited to dive into her story and see what she could do. Being a romantic suspense, this book promised all the ingredients that I look for in an enticing read. The story is a well woven with a tight and intriguing plot. There’s a crime and investigation element, with mystery, drama, danger, chemistry, and plenty of sizzle. Lexi is a homicide detective with the reputation of being a bit of a loose cannon. She is a woman on a mission as she pursues a child killer and is determined to take him down. Xavier is on an undercover assignment to investigate whether Lexi is fit for duty. He is placed as her partner and things get interesting very quickly- what ensues makes for a very engrossing read. This may have been my first read by this author, but it certainly won’t be my last! Happy reading!

Caspian Archer is one of New York’s most eligible bachelor’s and Paisley is an old childhood friend that is needing some help taking care of her mother’s medical debt. Caspian Archer is stuck with a decision of finding someone to marry for a year when his uncle falls ill and writes it in his will. I loved the story plot line between Caspian and Paisley and how much their story changed in the 365 days of a fake marriage. They have amazing chemistry and I absolutely loved the building of the characters in this story. It defiantly left me with a world wind of emotions! I can’t wait to see what happens next with his friends.
This is the second part of Red’s story, so it is not a standalone. The first book was more of a recap from events of previous Satan’s Devils series with pertinent parts of Red’s story mixed in. My suggestion is to read the other series before you start this one so nothing is spoiled for you. I really feel that there were pieces from the first book that were crucial to this story that could have been condensed down and merged with the second part to make one book.
That being said, THIS IS THE STORY I CAME FOR! Part two lives up to the standard that I am used to reading from this author. The suspense, the drama, the real-life struggles of the characters – I am here for it!!! I loved that Cher is a strong character. And Zeke… loved their ability to not let what they’ve been through make them hate the world. I’m glad I stuck with it after being slightly disappointed with part one, because part two was everything I needed.

The love story with Paisley and Caspian was electric an loved how it started when they were young an they found each other as adults. Classic billionaire needs to get married so he pays a girl he knows an they fall in love. Happy medium of romance, work, and friends. Looking forward to reading more in the series!

What a fantastic quick read. It was hard not to instantly fall in love with Amber and Giovanni. I am always amazed how authors can fit so much detail in shorter books but this book succeeded in giving great detail while not bogging down the story. At the beginning of the story, I was unsure as to how I felt about Amber and Gio but I knew that Gio was the hope that Amber so desperately needed. I enjoyed following along as their relationship evolved and the grew and felt my heart break when things went bad and hope when events went well. This was the first book I read in the series and I will definitely be going to the beginning and start from book one.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up especially when it is a holiday story. This is a warm, sweet holiday story that will not only warm your heart but pull at your heartstrings. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters from the beginning. They are connectable and truly made the story come to life. A well written story about Amber and Giovanni. She is a person who does not like Christmas and he is a single dad. They are about to be bitten by Christmas Magic for a chance at romance. They are great characters that I found myself hoping they would find their happiness by the end of their story. A story of family and love that you won’t be able to put down until the last page. There is great growth with the plot as well as the characters throughout the story. This is a must read holiday story. I highly recommend this story and this author.

This author just about killed me. All the emotional ups and downs still has me reeling days after I read this book. I just love it when you need a good cry and a book helps you achieve it. This book did just that. I feel emotionally cleansed after this spectacular book. After book one left us on a cliffhanger, the author game back with even better writing. This is definitely an author I’m adding to my favorites. Dare I say this gave me Nicholas Spark feels
Intriguing mystery This is a first from this author for me and it did not disappoint. I was hooked in from the first page and kept riveted as the story unfolded. This is a suspenseful thriller mystery with romantic tension thrown in. Lexi and Xavier are well developed characters that I just could not help loving. They are raw and real and I just felt such a connection to them. The mystery was brilliantly executed too with just the right balance of suspense and action. Highly recommend.

This is the 6th, and I assume final, book in the series. As there are 6 ‘Bastard’ brothers and this is the 6th book, added to the storyline in this book, I’m assuming that this series has now come to an end. I will certainly miss this series as each and every book, including this 6th one, have been amazing. I have been a fan of this author for a few years now and I’ve loved every single book of hers that I have read. At last we get the story of the last brother Lazarus. I’ve been waiting for his story for a long time and it certainly did not disappoint. I really loved reading Lazarus and Sasha’s story. Having met Sasha previously when Lazarus was severely injured and she was his nurse, I just knew that their story would be a damn good one. This author has an amazing skill of writing amazing romantic suspense novels. I love that we get so much more than just a romance story. The back story to this book, as well as the others in the series, of the brother’s vendetta against their father has had me gripped throughout the series and I was desperate to know how this would conclude. I absolutely loved this book, and the whole series and I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us, the readers, next.

There is nothing I like better than a little romance, a little intrigue, a little heartbreak and a lot of heat. This story had all that and more. A masterful and mysterious web was woven and the details were very descriptive, while leaving the characters well developed. The leading lady was a feisty detective with a lot of weight on her shoulders. The leading man is the ultimate match and has a toe the line, professional manner. A myriad of emotions rolled along throughout the book and the senses were heightened by the passion, intense attraction, guilt, and a deep sense of duty and finding justice. An accomplished yet nerve racking romantic suspense that ticks all the boxes. 4 stars.

This book drew me right in from the very first page and transported me back in time. This story is full of battlefields, action, a final deathbed request, romance and so many obstacles. Watching feelings develop between Jacek and Oliwia was magical. Watching it finally all click in Jacek’s head as he realized that it was always Oliwia was comical. As sometimes happens in life, it may be too little too late. He has no idea what’s been transpiring in his absence and that Oliwia is forced to make decisions she would never willingly make to keep those she loves safe. This book ends in a cliffhanger that has me counting the days until I can read the next part of this story and find out what happens next!

King Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel Book 6) by India Kells. I have loved this series and I am sad its over! India Kells is one of my go to authors and this book was as great as I expected it to be. This is story of Lazarus and man oh man, he’s the perfect book boyfriend! Lazarus (Oz) and his brothers have almost taken down their father and they think they have protected everyone close to them. The one missing link is Sasha. When Oz almost died, Sasha helped nurse him back to life and the one thing he didn’t expect was to grow feelings for her. Leaving her unprotected is the one thing their dad can hurt. The Chemistry between Oz and Sasha is off the charts and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. Oz will do whatever it takes to protect Sasha and I mean anything. Will Oz be able to keep Sasha safe and will they finally let their walls down to be together? Read King Bastard to find out!

Giovanni Sentieri is ready to put down roots and take over his grandmother’s Italian Café. After a devastating divorce, he finds himself as a single father, struggling to balance work and life. The last thing he expected was to fall for a spunky bar owner. Will the magic of Christmas bring this couple together, or will the self-proclaimed Grinch of Cold Creek turn her back on the possibility of love and family?

Yes, this author has created a love story that can be described as a dream come true. The main characters are a perfect match. The moral of the story is not just love but it is stay humble. How would you feel if you were paid to fake a relationship? All your worries also disappear. This was a mix of the movie 365 days with Beauty and the Beast. It is always great to see a happy ending. Quite long story but it is a definite page turner. Both dreams come true for one million dollars. The death aspect hit me quite hard but Caspian as the main male character created a world of redemption. This was very well written and I am excited to read the rest of this series. This author never disappoints. Five stars for book one, a good clean romance with an amazing fresh plot. The development of this romance is unmatched.

This is my first time reading a book by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. She’s now on my watch list and I’ll be looking for all of the other novels! This book had a great plot and it was a fun read. I finished it in about a day. The biggest selling feature was the character development. The characters were written in a way that was so realistic; their strength and weaknesses felt relatable

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the start.
Caspian visits his dying uncle in the hospital where he is given an ultimatum, marry or he could risk losing the company that he has worked so hard for. Paisley is visiting her mother at the hospital where she has been in a coma for months. She is lost and doesn’t know how she is going to pay for further care.
These two literally run into each other at the hospital. There is something familiar about the woman, when he gets a closer look he realizes who she is. While having coffee with Caspian he offers her something that seems too good to be true, could she really do it?
Will Caspians plan work? Will he be able to keep his heart out of it or fall for Paisley?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. Although I didn’t care for the mean girls and how Caspians uncle treated Paisley. If you’re looking for a great romance with great characters this is the book for you. I really liked these two as a couple. I can’t wait to read more from this series and this author. 1-click and get started today.

An emotional must read. I knew I had to read this one after reading the first book. I recommend reading Come Back Tomorrow before diving into this one. This book is the continuation of Will and Tori’s relationship and Will’s fight to beat cancer. In this book there are definitely challenges as Will fights for his life and Tori is there with him and for him. Although there is sadness and heartache in this story there is also hope, love, romance, friendship, and family. I found myself completely invested in their lives and had to read this book in one sitting. I am so glad that we got to see how Will and Tori’s relationship grew as they lived outside of the hospital. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
A very interesting and a unique book, set in Italy in the 1600s , and talks about witchcraft, magic and reincarnation.A third year medical student is running away from her past and present to the modern Massachusetts where she begins to learn all about herself. In an eye opening journey, she begins to realize her powers and also of all the women in her previous generations. This book boasts of women power and encourages women to choose the path of their choice without any inhibitions. As I said earlier, it is a very unique book and a wonderful read.

Detective Alexandra Danvers is on a mission to find a child killer. Dealing with her husbands death, hostility to others, depression, and being ostracized by her department she has the odds against her. When she is newly partnered with Detective Xavier Knight things turn a bit romantic but are also fueled with suspense. Xavier is there to determined Lexi’s ability to effectively do her job, but he also ends up helping her with this case. As these 2 team up together they are risking life and limb to solve this case, but also finding that there is more to their relationship along the way.
This book was a great thriller. There were many twists and turns that you could not, and did not see coming in this story. There were also a lot of emotions attached to this book. Both main characters had a lot to overcome and you could feel a lot of the sadness from both ends.
