If you thought book one was good, this is better! There is now hope, how is it possible? In a time of pain and heartache, this author rips you back into this world with Julia and Derek and doesn’t disappoint. Freedom. This was an easy read if you have the time your done before you know it asking for more. If I didn’t know any better I would think this world was real. The characters become a part of you and you just want to escape into this book and hold them tight. Derek is my favorite and he is truly a leading man. Five stars all the way around, can’t wait for book three. This is giving you adventure, chaos & romance with cover art that is so enticing you want to read it to find out the story. Hang in there Julia there is more to your story and I’m here for it. A true page turner.

I wasn’t sure what I would be getting from this book and went in blind. Let me tell you that getting to know these characters was like an out of body experience. So eloquently written, and perfectly executed. This story had it all. From danger, suspense, attraction, surprise, intensity. These characters met unexpectedly, the chemistry blindsided them both. They weren’t looking for each other, but could not deny the growing need between them. Unpredictable and dramatic, they will go to any lengths to protect their own, and fight the ever present and increasing temptation. I loved not knowing what was in store at the next turn of the page. I felt the insatiable pull of this diverse and colourful cast, immersing myself in their journey and feeling so much I thought I would burst from the vivid emotions that captivated me throughout the story. Difficult to put down. Unforgettable. 5 stars.

It is a dark, dark, dark tale but sooooooo good. It is full of graphic scenes of sex and violence so don’t read if it may cause triggers. This is a riveting and compelling tale is the third book in the series by this author. OMG, this series started out with a bang and each book has continued to be the same way. This story is a dark mafia romance suspense and there is everything you could think of to make this tale an outstanding read. With danger and violence, secrets and lies, intrigue and darkness, angst and fear, intrigue, and sizzling chemistry it pops off the page and keeps your heart pumping and you don’t know whether to sit or stand as you enter the darkness to seek out the enemies. He is waiting for his time to come to claim what’s his and the woman he loves. She has become a part of the darkness when she was betrayed. Not even their enemies will see them coming. It was be killed or sign her life away to the Devil himself. Reviewed by @jennadb
I devoured this book quickly. After a couple bad relationships, Leann Bobbin meets a new guy. He wants to show her how a woman should be treated. I found this to be a very sweet story that reminded me that we should not take less than we are worth in a relationship. I really enjoyed that their relationship started with “boundaries”. Len doesn’t want to be a stalker so decides that he will at least send a text every night to make sure she makes it home every night. Not returning that text, is what set Len into action to try to save her. I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to more from this author.

This book is so full of Christmas magic and wonder. Olivia is so lost and lonely when she steps on the Serendipity cruise and my heart breaks for all that she’s been through. When she sits on Santa’s lap and begs him for Jace the hero of the novel she’s writing, it makes my jaw drop to find out that he is an actual man and he is right there on the cruise! Somehow her heart must have known that he was out there and he was hers and she was his. Seeing how Santa and Mrs. Clause help bring them together to get to know each other and to realize that they belong together made my heart so happy. This book is full of so many laugh out loud and swoon worthy moments and Imogene and Grandpa Erwin are adorable too. I really love the way that Olivia found herself on this cruise and finally gets to step out of her twin sisters shadow and have a fairy tale life. Jace is even better than the hero of her romance novel and even though he’s been through some rough patches in life he’s able to pen his heart, cherish her and take a chance on a once in a lifetime love! This is a book I’ll read many times over because I absolutely adored it so much!

Just when you think you know an author and what to expect, especially after just finishing the first books, BAMMM she slaps you upside the head and says pay attention. I was not expecting to love this book so much. I gave the first book in the series 4 stars because I felt there was something lacking in the story. Well this one definitely makes up for it. The characters are superbly written and the story development is so good. I really appreciate that the author elevated the story to where it is now.

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of apocalyptic and dystopian series on TV, so when I saw this I HAD to get it. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The author did an amazing job with building up the chemistry between the love interests and the action and suspenseful atmosphere that she creates is superbly developed. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt there was something missing with the back stories of the characters and what happened.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for her because he is the football coach at the same high school where she is a counselor. Can Breckin trust her heart to a man who is still mourning the loss of his first love? Can Griff move past grief to see the phenomenal woman who loves him?
This is the second installment of the series that takes place in Parker, OK. I really love this series. The female characters are strong, supportive, and not afraid to be vulnerable. I love the relationships, the witty humor, and the town! Small town living is exactly like it is described in this book!

When I read a dystopian type book I expect action, suspense, drama and one heck of a good world builder. Brittany Anne deliveres on every single expectation! It was so easy to get lost in the world she created and connect with her characters. I felt all the emotions. All of them! There is just something about romance in a fallen world amidst literal chaos that gets me. Hopeless romantic? Yes. Which is why I enjoyed this so much! Perhaps even more than the first book. If you want to give this a read I highly suggest starting with the first though! Once again, Brittany Anne, you nailed it.

This romantic suspense really kept me on the edge of my seat through the majority of the book. Full of drama, suspense, mystery, intrigue, and more this author really knows how to hook her reader and keep them reading until the final page. While this is the second book in this series the chatacter development is fantastic for this short novel. While I found the characters to be fantastic I found the plot to be dramatic, suspenseful, and overall intriguing. The bank heist is intense and will pull you in as if your trapped in the bank with our main character Leann during a bank robbery. Even though Leann is pulling put all of.the stops to survive, will she make it? Will her new police officer boyfriend Leonard be able to save her? You’ll have to read this second installment to find out.

This story was out of this world. Full of emotions, past issues, lots of tears and more I found myself feeling like I was immersed in a hallmark movie. While I have read this author before I personally couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. The cover and the synopsis grabbed my attention right away. But once I delved into the story I couldn’t put it down. While our main male is a tall, handsome veteran with some PTSD issues out female is a librarian with some real family issues. But can love conqur all? You’ll have to read this book to find out for yourself.

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship is the first book in The Perfect Pairings Series. If you are needing a bit of romantic, holiday spirit this book just might help. Olivia decides to spend the holidays on a cruise instead of suffering through visiting her sister and her sister’s fiance. What happens after having dinner with Santa and Mrs. Claus changes Olivia’s life forever. The story is cute and has a lot of fantasy, but fits the bill for a holiday romance. Imagine a Hallmark movie on a cruise ship. There are fun and quirky characters onboard and they add to the story. This was an unbelievable romance but a great getaway from the day-to-day rush of real life. I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Check In (Bobbins Sisters Series Book 2) by Debra Parmley. This book was amazing just like the first. I really recommend reading the first book because it helps you get to know the characters and the figure out the story line better. This is the story of Leann who has started a new job at the bank. Leann has been dealing with the recent stalker she had and has started dating a new guy, Len who is a police officer. Len is the perfect boyfriend, he checks in on her, is very protective and is very loving. When Leann doesn’t respond to one of his messages he finds out that she is in the midst of a bank robbery. Leann is used to challenges but this a new one. She is hiding and sneaks a call to Len to come rescue them. Will he be able to save her this time? This is a fast paced read that I finished in one sitting. Its a great read!

This is the second book in a series, a post apocalyptic series following the leaders of the Resistance. Here, we are following the story of Derek. Derek was determined to never fall in love, but he found something irresistible in the woman he rescued. Julia was kidnapped and held hostage and has had many scars, both mental and physical. I enjoyed watching Julia overcome her past and learn to trust again. She tries very hard to grow and trust Derek. Derek has to try hard to be patient with her and not scare Julia away. This was a sweet love story amidst fighting to free people, mystery in the community around them, and dealing with a fallen world.

Wow just wow! This book literally had me hooked, this book was a intense read, but needless to say I enjoyed the heck out of it. It has its moments of twists and some what dark, but it was compelling naturally in its town way. Overall, it was a powerful story, and it was one that deeply impacted me! Well done!
I picked this book, knowing what it was about based upon the story and the summary. I was not expecting (or maybe I should have) the emotional feelings this book brought to light. It was more than i thought it would be, but deeply added to the story. I read on and realized why the author had set up things that way. Needless to say I was very impressed for this book and the story, yes as I have said was dark at times but yet it was as powerful as a lightening bolt, and a story that will stay with you, for a long time!
For me Liz, was an amazing character. Someone who literally has gone though Hell and and back over and over again, and just wants her ticket the heck out of there With the way her life style is, could that ever be a possibility for her. She goes through a lot in this novel, she has hopes and dreams like I believe any of us do, but can she actually achieve what she wants and feel the emotion of what is known as freedom? She was intense and powerful with her mind, and she was very resilient. I loved that. I enjoyed her story, and what she did and had to undergo to get to the end finale. This was a intense book, but also was so freaking good and addictive. I could not put it down! Seriously a gripping must read for sure!
*****FOR SOME READERS THRE IS SOME MOMENTS OF THIS NOVEL WHERE THERE IS INTENSE ABUSE. THERE IS SOME MOMENTS THAT AS MUCH AS THEY ADDED TO THE STORY SOME VIEWERS MIGHT FACE WELL TIGGERS OR BE UNCOMFORTABLE. SO SENDING MY HEADS UP AS A READER!******
This book was a great freaking read for me. i love a book that can keep me so addicted as well as filled with such intense emotion I can not even consider to put this one down. there are some of the moments that I do label as intense that some readers may not like, but for me they made the story what it was. Gripping, Intriguing, and real. Very REAL! I loved it and I will for sure be reading more from this author, that is a simple question with he answer of YES! I highly recommend this book, if your someone like me who loves a book with twists, and suspense moments full of emotion, you will enjoy it as much as me!
This book was quite short and the romance was cute. Leann is like a puppy, very excited and agreeable. Len has some past heartache which is addressed and overcome so quickly. Despite having some shady relationships in the past, Leann instantly gravitates to Len which I found to be a bit odd. The main plot twist in the story was also resolved too easily. I wish it was longer and explored the troubled past of both characters more. It felt like mostly pleasant chatter. Enjoyable and quick, but would have liked a little more tension, passion, or drama to keep me invested.

This is a cute story. The characters all are well rounded with past traumas that lead to interesting interactions between them. Nash is a military veteran who lost an eye. His past trauma and heartache make him a character I instantly liked. Betsy is a librarian who is careful with her heart. I love the independence she shows throughout the book. The book has many eventful moments and was a cute, quick read from the start. Will definitely be keeping my eyes open for more!

After a stressful couple of years and a bit of bad luck, it seems like things are starting to look up for her and when she meets her new boyfriend, she is all smiles and happiness, something she has had in short supply, apart from when around her family and he seems just what she is looking for, meanwhile, he is just as happy to be around her and they try and either talk or message at least once a day around their shifts at work, but one day there is a robbery at the bank and Leann has just one opportunity to tell her boyfriend what is happening, but will he get there in time to stop the robbers, or will he be too late? This is a romantic suspense with sweet romance and danger combined to keep you on your toes throughout while also indulging in the innocence the romance provides.

This is the second book in this series and a bit shorter than the first one. You don’t need to have read the first one to read this one, but I think it’s a good idea to read it because you will have some back story on Leann and her sister. In this story we get to see how much Leann has matured. This was a really quick read, I honestly wish this book was longer because it felt a little rushed at times and I would have liked to get lost in the story more. I was happy to see that Leann finally met a good guy. Len is a police officer who checks in with her to make sure she’s safe and then one day she isn’t. If you want to find out what happens then you need to read this story that has romance and suspense.

A BDSM that’s super erotic, steamy, passionate and raw- what’s not to like? A fairly short read but definitely worth it. There is so much emotional pull, complexity and layers within this story. Extremely well written. You can feel the connection between Elgin and Mary, and their pasts that bring them together.

this is a great MM Romance story and it takes you on a quick and fast ride through denying true love and honoring someone’s death.
the story I feel lacked some “meat and bones” as it was so fast I was left wondering why this character was so intent about refusing his natural mate and what in his life and community and society had shaped him in such a way. the book touches on it but not enough.
however their natural connection finally is explored in the end and though it was quick I fell in love with the characters quickly and was intrigued with the death rituals of this society.
Need a holiday pick me up? This book is the perfect thing to get you into the somewhat nontraditional Christmas mood. It took me until about chapter 2 to be completely obsessed and finish the book in one sitting. Jace is a typical hot super-smart navy seal and Olivia was a typical little sister (even though she’s a twin) having several sisters I know what it’s like to be overshadowed throughout life. Olivia and Jace are so adorable and honestly, I’d love to see this book turned into a short-made for tv series for a hallmark or even a hallmark movie. Olivia needed to believe in Christmas magic to make her dreams come true and honestly so adorable.

This book is 2nd in the series, and I was super excited to read this book. I highly recommend reading book 1 first in the series in order to get to know the characters and background. You meet Derek and Julia in book one so I was very excited for book 2 about their characters. I love that the Derek and Julia captured my heartstrings. Derek is all about saving others and is part of the Resistance. One of the people that Derek saves is Julia and he is totally drawn to her. Julia has been through a lot and back and I could never imagine myself what she went through. As Derek and Julia grow closer, so do their feelings. Can they both overcome their fears and love but make sure the Resistance is safe?
The world as we know it in this book is just so dark, technology no longer exits and just how people are treated. This is such a great book that is mysterious, action and intensity along with some great moments of chemistry between Derek and Julia and I am so looking forward to book 3!! 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

At only 68 pages this is a very quick read. However I felt that the author could have done so much more justice to the characters and the storyline if it was made into a full length novel. The book is the second instalment in the series but can be read as a stand-alone. I would suggest that you would get more from this book if you read the first book in the series as you get to know the background of main character Leann in book 1 which is the story of her big sister Betsy. One thing I did really like about this book was getting to see Betsy and Wyatt again and seeing how they are doing in the future. In this book we get the story of Leann Bobbin and her new boyfriend Len. I like both Leann and Len as characters and felt that the author could have done so much more with them in a longer story. As with character progression, I feel that there could have been so much more added to the storyline. Each part of the story felt very short and then jumped to the next section, when the author could have expanded on each part of the story. I did like the characters and I liked the overall storyline, I just felt that it could have been so much more.

This is a lovely short romance story. Even though it is a short story it feels complete and the author doesn’t miss anything out. The characters are well written and easy to relate to. Len is a police officer who was injured in the line of duty. Now he’s stuck behind a desk and hating every minute of it. Everyday is the same until he goes to a barbecue and meets Leann.
The attraction between them is instant and as their relationship grows Len checks in consistently with Leann to check she’s OK. To some people it might see obsessive but Leann loves it and it would eventually help to save her life.
