I really enjoyed this story by Author Nicole Flockton. Ryan is a very successful plastic surgeon and wants to be part of something more and parts ways with his partner, whom is all about money and greed. When Ryan gets a phone call that his adoptive father, Colin, was in a very serious accident, he heads back to Bunya Junction. Sindy Carruthers went back to Bunya Junction after her relationship went wrong. Sindy ended up working for Colin as a nurse and thought highly of Colin. When Colin passes away, Ryan and Sindy find out they are both half owners of his practice that he is leaving behind. Fate brought them together, can they both heal and love. This is a great contemporary romance and I loved the setting in Australia. I cannot wait to dive into book 2 :).

I absolutely love that Hazel Storm has made Greek Gods characters in her stories. This book had me seriously glued to it from start to finish. I literally could not put it down because I wanted to find out what would happen next. I found myself immersed in another world, experiencing all of the different emotions that Vanessa felt as she found herself drawn to two people that are complete opposites. Raef is pure and light like Vanessa, and Grey is dark and dangerously sexy. Both of them are irresistible in their own ways. I really enjoyed how this book made me ponder life after death and just what awaits you at the end of this lifetime. It does so in a way that steals your breath away and leaves you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I smiled, laughed, teared up and gasped with shock at various parts of this book. This amazing story will run you through the entire gamut of emotions. My mouth was wide open at the twist ending and I am so looking forward to the next book in this series. Do yourself a favor and get lost in the world that Hazel Storm has so eloquently created.

Gone Country by Katrina Marie to me is a great book that should belong as a Hallmark Movie! I can see the whole thing played out on film. She’s a city girl who her only dating is her job and getting a promotion. In order for this promotion, she will have to go out in the country to complete the task. Well in the process of getting there alone, she ends up with bad luck, but that bad luck leads her to a sexy country boy who was sweet to help her out. He ended up needing to help her out more, and in many ways! The friendships, family, love, and drama in this book play out so good and I want to give Katrina a hoot and holler for this book! It was something I needed to read when I had a bad day.

Liliana is a mafia princess. Her dad is the boss, her mom dead. Dad only sees Liliana as a pawn to get what he wants and to further his buisness holdings. When Matt (Max) comes on to dad’s employ, he works to get LIliana out. Matt is really under the employ of Liliana’s grandfather who desperately wants her away from her dad and returned to him. Opinion In the beginning of the book was a family tree (of sorts) to all of the mafia’s in Chicago. There are five. While this is extremely helpful for the book, I was daunted reading it before I even read any of the book. I did refer back to it from time to time to help me get some perspective. Liliana also alludes to the death of her friend, Marissa. She does it often enough that I checked to see if there was another book in the series. I did not find one and believe that McKinley was just offering a back story. I personally would have preferred a prelogue because I was a bit confused as to whether I should already know it or not. The book itself was fast paced and kept me on the seat of my pants wondering what was going to happen next. There was plenty of action for what you would expect of a mafia novel as well as angst and love. I truly enjoyed reading this book.

Gone Country (Gone in Love) by Katrina Marie is possibly one of the most amazing romance novels that I have ever read. This is my first read by Ms. Katrina Marie but with her amazing plot, terrific characters, and great word building she will quickly find her way to my favorite author list. I was drawn to this novel by the cover and it’s been on my tbr list for a couple of weeks, but I’m so glad I finally got to read this amazing book. Stella is amazing, hard working, and smart but what happens when mr. tall dark and handsome Johnny walks into her life? Johnny is hard working, handsome, and has some issues of his own to deal with, will Stella be able to repair what once was broken? You’ll have to read that funny, intense romance to find out.

This is some good paranormal writing. It’s hard to come by sometimes. Getting into many different genres lately, paranormal has been at the top of the list. If you want a romance, the spooky feels and a lot of tension between a couple. This story is right up the ally for you. This story is about Luci inheriting a house from her aunt with some character if you will. The house captivates Luci with its mysterious ways and that drives a wedge between her and her fiancée. What happens to them? Will the house take over or do they have a chance?? You will have to read to find out!

I have never read a Mafia type or related book before. I never would have even considered it, but this drew my attention the minute I read the description. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down. Liliana is not what you expect out of a Mafia boss’s daughter, she’s better. She’s who I want to be when I grow up. She’s confident, intelligent, and just downright sexy.
Then you meet Max, her bodyguard. There is something about him that you cannot help but trust from the first time you meet him. As you make your way through the book, you realize your instincts are correct about Max. If you’re like me, you end up falling for him; possibly harder than Liliana does. Trust me, there’s No Way Out of staying up all night to finish this book.

This was a fantastic book to read if you love romantic comedies. The main couple of characters are hilarious and full of wit and charm. This was a quick read for me because once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I had to find out what was going to happen with the two of them and their relationship. And the cast around them, mostly the cousins, were phenomenal. I was wishing that I had cousins like them. I thought the author did a great job with the writing and detail to make me imagine this was taking place in my hometown even though it wasn’t. She kept me interested until the very end. And she has my anticipation high for the next book in the series.

I must say, this was a very happy and fun read to engage in upon reading! From the start to the main plot concept to the character introductions I was defiantly hooked. It was impossible not to get hooked in with the drama or the funny moments going on as the book progressed its plot!
The story of this book was so sweet and full of heart for sure. I loved the story as well as the characters. It was a fun and light hearted read for me to enjoy. I’m a country girl at heart so this book defiantly felt like home to be in more ways than one. I loved it! The story of city girl with big dream, doesn’t plan on finding the most amazing guy ever, Will it come down to having to make her choose one or the other perhaps? I think you will have to read this one to find out!
Johnny and Stella were for sure two different, but special characters. Johnny reminded me of my husband, Sweet, good soul, and good with his hands in more than one way maybe haha. Stella was a girl with her head on her shoulders well, but not prepared for what life can throw at her. She was fun to read and her alone gave me a lot of chuckles as I read. It was comical in a good way to read about her and Johnny and time together and the events they faced. It was a good and fun read for me!
The book was very enjoyable and as I have said gave a lot of heart and then some! I really enjoyed this first book in a series. I was very happy reading this and I will for sure be enjoying more from this wonderful author! I highly suggest you read it, you will for sure enjoy yourself as much as I did!

This was my first time reading Bernadette Marie and I enjoyed the first book of her new series. Admittedly, I have a soft spot for second chance romances! I feel like she developed her characters well and presented them in a realistic way.
Craig and Rachel were each other’s first love. This is the story of how they get back to that love, what happened to them in the in between, and how they worked through the trauma of it. I appreciated the acknowledgement to mental health and how Rachel sought out help to deal with the loss of her brother and her own issues with depression.
All the characters in the coming books are introduced and I am looking forward to reading more about them and how they find love! Honestly, I just love when there is a group of people that are there for each other through thick and thin. I want them all to find their happy ever after ending!

Amy McKinley is my favorite author right now!! Everything she writes is just amazing. She has a way to write a story that is just relatable, steamy, and just gives you all the feels. No Way Out is a mafia romance between Max and Liliana, two opposing mafia families. Liliana, at the beginning, is a pawn in her father’s mafia ways, but Max eventually comes to her rescue. Max is a son of a mob boss, who was thought to have died. Both characters have been betrayed by their families, but find it among themselves to unite together, safeguard each other, and find true love through the craziness of their mafia lives. I cannot wait till this October when the next book comes out!!!

This is a nice story. I like the whole friendship among the guys. How they were always there for each other. That is my favorite thing about this story. Craig and Rachel have a love story over the years. They have a quick relationship but its a slower story in order to bring out all their aches and pains of the past and not being together. This was a book that truly was a wonderful heart feel in more than one way! How could I not enjoy this book? Th writing really helped me connect to the story line as well as the characters, and not just in the sense of who they were but also for how they felt at given moments in the book. It was a good paced read, and was not long before I concluded it! All in all, a very good read to sit back and enjoy!
The book brought on different passions for me. For me, aside from the amazing connecting love story it gave. It gave me something else that anyone who knows me I have a strong sense of passion for, and that’s saving and protecting the endangered wild life. As well as that statement, yes I am a turtle lover so this book’s story line was close to my heart. I loved how the mentor and his well assistant really cared about the nesting turtles. I could see more than their passion for one another in the sense of protecting the sea turtles from danger was a priority for them. I really felt that, and it made it all more realistic for me. I loved how the author put a true issue in today’s world and applied it perfectly within the book!
Aside from the amazing story line with the sea turtles. I loved the chemistry and that passion that basically came like an ocean wave for Kyra and Dylan. Dylan, yes he was a bit older and he was the boss basically being the mentor. I am one who believes true love knows no age. Its just a number. I find not enough authors will write a story about that and I really loved how this amazing author did so with that as well! Kyra was also a typical female. We always seem to want the bad boy, but perhaps the good hearted nice guy can be the bad boy we want so badly and still provide all the things we want badly with a sense of sexiness’ basically as much as we would want and like. Needless to say I loved how realistic the love triangle was in this novel, and the sea turtles and saving the environment was defiantly a beautiful touch that only added to this wonderful amazing story!
Again, this was a must read for sure. I highly do recommend reading this book. As said it is a fast read. And the pace is a good steady amount. The word play and how the story line of the turtles and the love triangle intercept made it just more awesome and heart felt to read. I truly enjoyed it and I will be for sure reading more by this wonderful author. I look forward to more from them in the future!
I loved this book right off the bat. I loved all the members of the Fabulous five almost immediately. I am hoping in the next four installments that we see each of these men settle down! I do have to say that the main female lead Rachel was someone that I could definitely see myself being best friends with if she were real. I can not wait for the release of the next few books!

A strong start to the series A contemporary romance with a second chance feel. The story has all the feels. The focus for this book is on Craig and Rachel and overcoming their past demons. I hope this is a series where we still get glimpses of each couple in future books as I would like to see where Craig and Rachel end up. I liked each of the members of the team and I look forward to their individual stories. An easy to read, sweet romance series starter that most will enjoy.

This book took me by surprise, a beautifully written Rom Com with a bit of a twist. Lucie is such a likable character, and the fun chemistry between her and Max is a joy to read. A enjoyable light-hearted read with some humour and mystery thrown in. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good Romantic Comedy.

Kiss Me Before Flight is a Suspenseful Seduction World novel by Thia Finn. This is a wonderful second chance contemporary romance with mature characters, a captivating storyline, suspense, emotion, drama, angst, chemistry, tension, and even a touch of humour. Thia Finn has taken a secondary character from Samantha A. Cole’s “Trident Security” series and spun him a superb story of his own. I have not read any of the “Trident Security” series- but Thia Finn has definitely sparked my curiosity enough to add them to my TBR pile. Thia Finn always manages to weave an engrossing story that pulls me in and gets me fully invested in the characters and the outcome of their story. And here she not only created emotional story with some intense moments, but also managed to sprinkle in a little humour along the way, giving it some lighter scenes as well. When Callie finally finds the courage to leave her abusive marriage- her neighbour, Jane, enlists the help of her brother-in-law, who happens to be the pilot for Trident Security. With Conrad’s help Callie is whisked away—- annnnd then— no spoilers here, but what happens next makes for a really great read. Looking forward to seeing what Thia Finn does next!

Forever Valentine is the follow up to the book Professor Valentine of Cassie and Diego’s story. The 2nd book picks up a year later as Cassie is in her 2nd year at uni to get her degree while Diego teaches at another school. Despite Diego’s ex wife and also the stress of Diego meeting Cassie’s parents for the first time, Cassie and Diego’s love for each other still burns strong. The story was good but I didn’t feel the connection with the characters like I was hoping in this story. Overall a good read if you enjoy contemporary romance books.

This was a good 4 star read. It did take me some time to get pulled into the story as I got to know the characters. Lucie is a hard worker and when she is offered a job after an interview, that had me LOL at times with the questions she meets her new boss Max. Max is a Prince unbeknownst to Lucie and he is looking for a key. Will Lucie be able to help Prince Max find what he is looking for?
Overall this was a read that had humor, steaminess and more. The characters grew on me and I loved them by the end. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

This was a quick cute read. I liked the plot about being centered around the turtle preservation. I did not really connect with the characters in the story but that could be due to the brevity of the book. I did have a feeling about Jake from the start. Unsettled Scores is the second book in the DAG Team Series. The twists and turns of the plot line make this book a great read. The pages started to turn faster and faster the more I read the more I needed to see what was happening next. The characters breathe life into the story. Amy has had a strained relationship with her family members. She blames herself for the death of her sister. She is out for revenge but what does that look like with other family members. Can she maintain her relationships or will it hurt her in the long run? Will she choose love or revenge? I highly recommend this book to see what happens with Amy.

I wasn’t so sure about it, when I started reading Alix Nichols book The Boss Prince. I was wondering where it was going to go. I’m glad I kept at it because it was definitely good. Wonderfully written character arcs to go with an interesting world Alix Nichols created. Max, a prince of Mount Evor, has been tasked on a mission to find the first of nine keys to save their secluded country from being dissolved. Lucie, the key to finding the key Max needs to work with to succeed. Based on the prophecy that came upon his mother. The light humor Alix Nichols gives Max, despite his royal background, made him a little and airy presence that made me love his character. Lucie written in a typical slapstick personality that I can relate too, being that’s the type of person I am! With the backdrop of France throughout most of the story, it was refreshing to read something different taking place on foreign soil to me. I look forward to keeping up with this series and the quests to find the other 8 keys!

This book definitely has something for everyone. Thriller, romance, suspense, and supernatural elements make it a good read! I devoured this short book within a few hours! Reading about Luci and her fiancée Beckett navigate a spooky manor that Luci inherited from her aunt was thrilling and quite interesting! You also get to see everything from the mysterious third person perspective was pretty cool. This was a new author for me and I’m happy that she did not disappoint. There are some steamy scenes in this short book and those too were a good read! I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Beautiful sea turtles in book or in movies always get me. This was a wonderful stories wrapped around a preserve. Dylan and Kyra work around challenges such as nest poachers and age differences and a bad boy in the group. They come through stronger than ever. This was so well written and put together. It was a nice quick read. I can say it was original and had some new action. Highly recommend.
The Boss Prince: a royal romance with humor and suspense (It’s Raining Royals) by Alix Nichols is an entertaining book and was a surprise from start to finish. Now I have read the book I cannot say what I was expecting when I started it, I just know what I got wasn’t it. However that is only in a good way. I was definitely caught up in the story and what was happening to the characters. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really connected with it. I enjoyed every aspect of the book and really thought the characters were likeable and engaging. This was a great story and I look forward to reading more of this author’s work.

A Natural Passion by Tammy Mannersly is another quick and easy romance story that has a great story and interesting characters. I thought the romance between the main characters was such a sweet story. It didn’t start out as the obvious romance but grew into something so heart-warming. The overall story was fun and entertaining. The author built up the story and really developed the characters from start to finish. I love how easy the flow is of every single one of this authors stories. They are the perfect books to just lose yourself in for a few hours, to think of nothing but the characters. This book is as thoroughly enjoyable as every other book that I have read by her and I would definitely recommend it.
