This is the sequal to Professor Valentine. It is an easy short read and follows on from the first book perfectly. This is a romance between a student and her professor(ex professor now) because of this the story is mainly based around the age gap and all the problems and concerns that arise from that.
We are back with Cassie and Diego 12 months after the last book ended. Cassie and Diego are now living together and are facing challenges that their relationship brings such as people who approve of their relationship and those that don’t. They face challenges such as Cassie trying to complete her degree and Diego dealing with his divorce from his cocaine addicted ex wife. All this puts more pressure on the couple who are still finding their way together. Can they overcome all these additional pressures and views about their relationship or will it be too much for their young relationship.

I really love this author – her stories are so easy to read and really enjoyable. I really liked Sindy and Ryan, they were both really lovely characters and I loved reading about them. The authors way with her characters makes them really likeable and relatable and I found that to be the same in this book as previous ones. I felt the heartbreak of the characters and I was definitely rooting for the two of them the whole way through. They seemed to have a genuine connection which felt real and not forced! I would definitely recommend this book and as always, I look forward to more from this author again in the future.

I was so excited to start this book and see how Cassie and Diego’s relationship was going. I really felt like the author kept this relationship real, she showed the ups and downs and it did feel very realistic in parts. The story was only short but it was great to catch up with the characters again. I really enjoyed the story and would definitely recommend it however the books should be read in order to fully understand the characters relationship.

I really enjoyed reading this romance. Even though it’s a short story it is a complete one in the sense it all flows and makes sense. I also loved the characters and the twist at the end I didn’t see coming.
Kyra is kinda caught between 2 men. Jake who’s a heart throb and ladies man, who claims to share her passion for nature and preserving wildlife and Dylan who is her mentor, who’s life is based around saving the turtles and preserving their life. Her attraction to both men is intense but she is unsure where her heart truelly lies. Add to this story a mystery over who is poaching the turtles eggs and its an adventure which will leave you shocked when the person behind the thefts is revealed.
A Natural Passion is a standalone romance by Tammy Mannersly. It’s a sweet story that centres around turtle conservation, raising awareness of the risks this species faces (and providing an excuse for plenty of swimwear and beach scenes…) Mannersly introduces the love triangle from the get-go, and in many ways it’s the classic “girl choosing between a bad boy and a nice guy” setup but there’s more to it. Dylan is reluctant to make a move, aware of how he could end up taking advantage of his position as Kyra’s mentor. Jake has also been playing the long game, waiting until he had enough money saved up to treat Kyra to ask her out. But there’s something about his behaviour that bothers her. I found aspects of the story a bit predictable, but there’s something comforting in reading a story where you’ve got an idea how things will pan out. There’s still plenty of tension, both between the characters and with the fact that the turtles are in serious danger. My favourite thing about it was the seaside setting. I felt like I was with Dylan in his kayak, exploring the coast. A mini-break in a book! This book gets four stars from me. I would recommend it to animal lovers looking for a light, romantic read.

Kiss Me Before Flight by Thia Finn. I loved this book. Its the story of Trident Security’s pilot Conrad “CC” Chapman who has been asked by his sister in law, Jane to help her friend, Callie, who is trying to get away from her abusive husband. Callie has been in this relationship/marriage for over 20 years and he has made her believe that she deserves nothing more. The Trident Security team is used to tackling messy situations but CC is concerned about this one because Callie is very attractive and sparks fly whenever he is near her. He doesn’t need that complication in his life. They end up sending her to a private island in the Gulf by the team. While she is there she begins helping by doing housekeeping but sparks continue to fly between her and CC. Callie’s ex will never let her go and he’s made more threats. She seems to be in more danger than ever before. Will CC be able to keep Callie safe and will they be able to let down their walls and see where their relationship might go? The Boss Prince was exactly what it promised to be. It was fun, flirty, and mysterious. With that being said, I thought it was okay. It was a fun ride with steamy moments. But the heroine is a little too gullible for me. She also devolved from a responsible adult to reckless but in an irresponsible way. Like you are SO handsome, of course I will break the law for you! It was a good idea, and it was a fun read, but not my cup of tea. So if you are looking for a light-hearted, easy read, give it a shot!

Never in my life did I think I would be wholly sucked into something like this book pulled me in. The twist and turns. The sexual tension. This book was incredible! I’ve realized after reading this novel that this is the second generation from the Lochlann feuds. Princess Rowan is a very strong and independent young lady that is comical, sarcastic and witty. The two feuding kingdoms don’t seem too far off from each other, and yet they are completely different. As a mother of four girls, I would say that this book is clean enough for most teens. There is a bit of romance in it, but nothing too dirty.

Mafia action and romance What a thrilling ride this book was. I could not put it down and ended up reading until the early hours – so be warned. Amazing writing, characters and what a world!! Forever Valentine: A Sequel to Professor Valentine is book six in the Kirk University series by Diana Vale. Forever continues for Cassie and Diego. Their forbidden tryst blossomed into love and we get to find out what has been going on in their lives. As far as short stories go, this one isn’t to bad. It kept me turning the paged and nicely enthralled from the start. Their story was a good one and flowed energetic and easily. The play on words was clever. The characters relatable and likable. A lovely short and sweet delight. 4 stars.

Amy McKinley’s No Way Out is one of the most character intense stories I have ever read. The story of the Chicago’s Italian-American Mafia families showed how they had their own political agendas. Lilianna Brambilla’s role as a Mafia “princess” made her an asset to her father. Benito Brambilla’s power was crumbling from the destruction of several warehouses he used to store drugs. The Council of the Mafia frowned upon drug dealings, but Benito did not care.
Max Caruso’s, along with his cousins, directions are to protect Lilianna and to reintroduce her to her Grandfather VIncenzo. After her mother had died, Benito refused to allow any contact with VIncenzo. Max infiltrates Benito’s home as Matteo “Matt” Trambino, with a reputation for being a hitman for the original families that never failed to get a job done. Benito assigns Matt to guard Lilianna. After a dinner with the Mexican cartel and Matt protecting Lilianna from the unwanted attention of an ambitious youngster, she begins to trust him. She also feels something different about Matt, but dismisses her underlying feelings, knowing her father would never allow her to date an employee. Little does she know, but Matt has grown a much larger attachment to her and intends to get her out of the prison life she lives. When Antonio Caruso strikes a deal with Benito, Lilianna goes into panic mode. She was to marry the oldest son of the Caruso family, Tony. Suspected of killing his previous fiancé, Tony is despised by Lilianna. She fakes her escape and finds herself losing her thoughts of control when Matt foils her plans.
This is a stellar 5-star thrilling romance. The alternating narrative between Max and Lilianna is seamless. I loved how McKinley was able to bring the characters alive with rational thoughts and how easy it was to connect with them. The outward appearance of Lilianna was a farce of someone that feared nobody, but underneath she ran on fear. The amount of weaponry she carried with her everywhere was overkill, which in her shoes, I probably would have done the same. Living in a house where your mother died, and being treated as property by your father, would break just about anyone. The ending of this book fits and doesn’t feel rushed like other romance novels tend to be.

This book is a bit steamy, however it’s very much on the dark side. I am on the fence with this one I don’t know if I love it or hate it I feel like there is no in-between. I understood the plot but I expected more romance but romance Kim of fell flat. There is really great character development as you would expect in the first book of a series. Something seems to be missing I don’t know what yet, maybe because it is book 1 questions get answered in book two or things will just make more sense. Would you sell your soul to the devil for the love of your life ?! The “bad guy” of the story really was the best part all the best villains have the name Kai or some variant lol. I am looking forward to book two. I hope there is more steam then darkness in the next read. I will give it four stars because it is book one and it keeps you reading it has a good plot I just don’t think this is my type of book something I am willing to get use to.

This story was very unexpected! I started in one mindset and ended in a completely different one! There was sooo much involved in this storyline itself. The characters were very well developed and the story itself was original and intriguing. This paranormal romance took me some place I did not see coming at all. The amount of suspense, mystery, drama, romance, as well unexpected twists just made the story even more exciting. When Celine’s husband is murdered she is devastated and angry. She wants revenge and is willing to sell her soul for it. When she meets a demon named Kai the night of her husbands murder he gives her just that option, and she takes it. As the pair start to explore Celine’s former life they discover a lot of hidden secrets that inspire more questions than answers. Kai knows more than he lets on, and as he Celine go thru this vengeful journey we discover that sometimes things are not at all how the seem.

This book absolutely blew me away! Amy McKinley is such a talented author. Liliana and Max are both extremely multi-dimensional characters and I really enjoyed getting to read the story from the view point of each of them. Liliana comes across initially as a cool and indifferent, but a total kick-butt woman that takes crap from no one. However, as the story develops, you get to see a completely different side of her-a side that is scared and lonely and craving a sense of belonging. Then there’s Max. He turns out to be so much more than just a hunky, muscular man that won’t let anyone stand in the way of his end goal. Max and Liliana bring out the best in each other and I was rooting for them the whole way! This book truly has a little bit of something for everyone-romance, suspense, action and heat. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for the next book in this series.

This book is so good amd the whole time you are reading you think you have everything figured out amd let’s just say nothing is as it seems. Never would I have thought the ending would be as it was. This is a really good book amd I love how the Author does not leaving you hanging until the next book to find out important events! The third in the Her Three Immortals series. I have enjoyed the books in this series, and this was no different. This book begins where the last one ended, Vanessa is standing in front of the Queen of the Underworld. The Queen of the Underworld has a task for Vanessa to complete, and she has exactly 24 hours to do so. This wouldn’t have been so hard if she hadn’t been thwarted. I love the characters in this series. The writing is excellent and has me turning pages as fast as I can read. I love that this is a hot and steamy reverse harem story. Aroz, Raef, Grey, does Vanessa have to choose? Why can’t she keep them all? Romance, lust, kidnapping, quest, this book has it all! Thank you so much Hazel Storm, I am on the edge of my seat waiting for Book 4.

This is the second book by Ms. Marie I have had the pleasure of reading and I have no doubts that I will be reading more especially this series.
I read a lot of books and there are some that I read pretty quick while others not quite as fast. This was one of the books I read pretty quick because I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen between Craig and Rachel and how it all went down.
I’m lucky to have a few friends from my high school years that I’m still close with and each time we get together it’s like no time has passed which is what I saw with Craig and his friends.
I throughly enjoyed this Book and can’t wait to read the next in this series.

First, I absolutely LOVE the cover of the book….can you say stunning! Second, I cannot get enough of this series….it is truly a book lovers delight for sure and I am one very happy girl to know there is a 4th book coming!!! “The Bow” is book 3 in this series and I do recommend reading this series in order. I am addicted to the characters. There is love, suspense, with some magic and I love each character. Vanessa has been assigned a task to complete by the Underworld Queen and she must succeed. Just when she believes everything is going according to plan, here comes Aroz. I love how the story unfolds and you really get to know the characters.

THE BOW (HER THREE IMMORTALS Book 3) by HAZEL STORM was an amazing read, however I am thrilled to know that this is not the end of this series by Ms. Storm. If you have not read the previous two installments to Ms. Storm’s series then I highly recommend that you do as book three picks up exactly where book two ended. I personally love this series, and Ms. Storm has definitely earned her way onto my favorite authors list. Her plot for this series is amazing, her characters are wonderful, and this paranormal romance just has everything that a reader could hope for. As with the previous two installments The Bow has action, suspense, magic, mythology, fate, romance and so much more I can’t even list them all. So if you need a great new series then check out the HER THREE IMMORTALS Book by HAZEL STORM, or if your like me and have already read the first two then definitely pick up The Bow right now.

This was one of those stories that kept me reading because I couldn’t even guess what was going to happen. Trying to figure out what secrets Thomas had been keeping from Celina, trying to figure out Kai. Kai… man, he definitely was a little hellish. Obviously, right? But the deviant grew on me. There were definitely some dark and twisted parts, but it added to the thrill of it. If you like a little dark, a little mysterious, a little demon-ish give this book a go!

Gone Country (Gone in Love) by Katrina Marie is a sweet romantic story that is a fairly quick and easy to read. This is the kind of book that you would lose yourself in for a few hours. It is light hearted and fun from start to finish. It took me a little while to connect with the characters in this book. Their meeting was a little abrupt which I found a bit disconcerting but as the story progressed I found that I had become invested in them. This is the first book that I have read by this author but I’m sure it won’t be the last.

My Soul to Give by M. A. Frechette is the first book in the A Demon’s Love series. I thought this was a really intriguing and different way to go about telling a revenge story. The description instantly made me want to read the book and the start of the story completely hooked my attention. I thought that the author created a unique concept within a genre that is oversaturated. I enjoyed the characters in the book. They added so much to the story and easily kept my attention. There were a couple of times that I thought the story needed a little bit more attention to detail however the overall idea was absolutely fantastic. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Now bless Dylan’s heart, here is he making himself sound so much older than Kyra, but 10 years is nothing! I was rooting for them the whole book, Jake seemed like a douche bag from the start and throughout the story, that was confirmed. I wish Kyra would have just chosen Dylan from the beginning, it seems like he was a back up plan to me, but he loves her so much so I couldn’t be mad that he finally got the woman of his dreams.

Quick read with a nice insight to egg poachers. That is truly devastating that there are people out there willing to destroy animals for financial gain. I appreciate the mention. I enjoyed this suspenseful story with a twist of romance adding in. This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up of hers. This is a story that pulled me in from the beginning. It is an engaging story that is not only fast paced but full of action as well. The characters bring the story to life on each page by the author’s use of details. I also enjoyed how connectable they are as well as strong. This is a well written story about Callie who is in need of help after she has escaped from her abusive husband. CC Chapman is not sure he is up for the challenge of Callie. What he did not expect was her to be so beautiful. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. You don’t want to miss the twists and turns they will take you on. This is a really great story that I had a hard time putting down. I highly suggest picking it up today.

This is the 3rd book in Her Three Immortals series. And it’s just as good as the first two. Vanessa is back and is happily living life in the Underworld with her new love Grey. Since she helped bring he colour back to his life their heartstrings has grown stronger. She feels like is on the right track until Grey mother interferes.
Grey’s mother transports her back to the Overworld with a mission she has 24 hours to complete. Vanessa needs to get some water from the Waterfall of youth. So now Vanessa finds herself transported back into the home of her first love Raef. The positive is that Vanessa is invisible so doesn’t have to worry about being seen.
What she doesn’t count on is the fact that Aroz and his mother can see her. After she is kidnapped by Aroz things really heat up as Aroz is the god of lust and they have had a connection in the past. Stuck with the god of lust she waits for one of her other lovers to come rescue her. But she maybe waiting a while. How can she be saved when no one knows where she is?
This book is a great read. I love Vanessa’s character. She has such a sassy personality which come through the pages of this story. It was really enjoyable and leaves me wondering which of the 3 immortals I would choose. But why choose if you could keep all 3?
