I have enjoyed all of the different chapters. This is the first book in Satan’s Devils in Utah. The one thing I love about Manda Mellett writing style. She writes about hot bikers and the people surrounding them. The characters are fully developed and can be a part of our world. I like it though because I can be transported to their world. The attention to detail is off the chain. You can paint a beautiful picture with the details Mellett gives you. I highly recommend you read this steamy sexy biker story to see what I was talking about.

I really enjoyed this book. In this story there are shifters, elementals, and witches. The plotline moves quickly, but not so quick that you do not know what is going on. There are twists and turns, ups and downs, and even loopy loops. That is what kept me reading until I was done. The characters are fully developed and engaging. There is something about Luna that I have really enjoyed. I could see myself being her friend. What can I say about Rhy except Luna is attracted to him. It seems as if Rhy is interested in Luna. There is one little problem. There is something that is keeping them away from each other. Does Rhy and Luna ever overcome this problem? Will they separate without knowing if they could be together? I highly recommend reading this book to get to the answers of these questions and many more.

This is book four in Toya Richardson’s ‘The Protectors Series’ and although some of the characters cross over it can be read as a standalone story. This story concentrates on Luna, a witch and Rhys an Elemental. The pair are both living within the Protector community where witches and Elementals are not supposed to fall in love. However, Luna and Rhys can not deny the chemistry and connection between them. When Luna and her mother have to return to their homeland following Luna having horrific visions about their coven Rhys must decide if he will take a chance at love. Having returned to Romania Luna and her mother must take part in a ritual to set their souls free but Luna’s past puts her life in danger. I enjoyed this paranormal romance with a forbidden lovers element to it and felt fully immersed in the storyline. The connection between Luna and Rhys really came through in the narrative and I was cheering them both on to their happy ever after! The plot is fast paced and full of drama and suspense as well as romance and paranormal aspects including, witches, Elementals and rogue shifters. An entertaining read and a great addition to the series.

Reader advisory: This book contains scenes of violence and death, as well as references to inadequate parenting and drug addiction.
Landra Graf has always been a sucker for stories where true love conquers all. She believes in the inspiration and joy the written word can bring. Add in her personal mottos of ‘whatever it takes’ and ‘better to be busy than bored’ and she’s two steps from overload. She writes romance with the goal of granting happily ever afters to everyone, fiction or not.
When not writing, readers can find Landra reviewing books, cooking up a storm, deeply immersed in a mad game of Scrabble or Rummy variation, and searching for moments to laugh and smile through it all.
She lives in the wilds of Northwest Arkansas with her partner and two children.

This was a very emotionally charged romance and I loved it. The characters were so well written that you couldn’t help experiencing their feelings at the same time.
Olivia was a successful lawyer who dreamed of marriage to her partner Dan but somethings aren’t meant to be and Olivia leaves Dan and her job. She puts a pin in a map to find her new location.
Gabe Rhodes is a powerful, wealthy lawyer who is interviewing for a Jr partner. As soon as his eyes land on Olivia he knows he has to have her. But with his past as a play boy can he win Olivias trust enough to let him in to her heart. Olivia loves him and trusts him until something destroys that trust. Is their relationship beyond saving or can they both learn to love and trust again.

Finders Reapers. (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 4) By Carrie Pulkinen.
Wow. What a truly fascinating story, I stated on book 4 and will definitely being going and reading the previous 3 books in this series, it was amazing. So funny with lots of twists and turns to keep the brain occupied. Asher is a Reaper who has decided to take a holiday and has left his gate open for all souls to wander through to the underworld as they please, only this isn’t exactly how the story goes, he soon learns that someone has closed the door and there are lost souls roaming around the French Quarter. Jasmine is a Necromancer (and also the reason Asher decided to take a break) and the last thing she wants to do is work with Asher the very hot Reaper. But how else are they going to stop New Orleans becoming the new hell? I really do recommend this book to anyone who loves a good laugh but also likes their paranormal romance too. It is epic.

This is a steamy romance. The plot was pretty straightforward and the story was smoothly written. Although I found it a bit predictable, I thought the premise of Olivia’s backstory was interesting. At first, Gabe seemed really entitled but overall the characters were likeable, if a bit lacking in depth. It was fast-paced and easy to read.

5 stars! I love India Kells! This is the fourth book in the series and it could be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend reading the previous three, it is nice to be introduced to the brothers starting with the first book. I love how all of the brothers are half brothers and have formed bond so tight because of their one common goal, to take their father down. Liam and Catriona’s story had me hooked as much as the previous stories. The characters were nicely developed and the story was easy to follow and get lost in. I can totally understand Catriona’s choice to become a nun, but I can also see the strong attraction and pull she has to Liam, so of course I was rooting for her to ditch the sisterhood and get her man. Liam, I was happy to hear that he at least had some love growing up with his uncle, but being thrust into the world of his father, Jamison Finch, he knew nothing but violence and defiantly no love. Meeting Catriona I see him finding love in his life again, and he deserves it. This story has a lot of action, romance, drama, and suspense, it is the perfect combination. I really can’t wait to see what happens with the next brother Sam since that epilogue had me on the hook!

Shattered is the first book in the Rhodes Family seriesby Lisa Wood. This is an erotic office romance- with plenty of sizzle, secrets, drama, emotion, and some insta-love. Ms. Wood is a new-to-me author so I was curious to see what her story would be like. I did enjoy the story and will definitely be reading the rest of the series. The book is quite short, which makes for a quick and easy read- but there were a few things that didn’t sit right with me. The story is told from multiple POV’s- which I thought was a little ‘over-kill’ for such a short story. I get where the author was coming from, and I appreciate the added perspectives, but I think it would have worked better if the story was slightly longer as it did feel a little rushed at times, feeling as if the author ‘bent’ the story to fit the smaller space which gave some of the scenes and situations a slightly contrived feel. The series focuses on the Rhodes family siblings- there are six siblings (2 girls and 4 boys)- and this is the eldest, Gabriel Rhodes’ story. While there are only two books in the series, so far, I imagine that the series will progress further, with each sibling getting their own instalment- hopefully that means at least a 6 book series(?). But here is where I had a bit of an issue with this instalment- the story introduces us to Gabe’s siblings and gives us snippets and a bit of a snapshot into the life of one of his sister’s in particular- who I later discover is the subject of Book Two- now, there were some revelations in this story which I consider to be ‘spoilers’ for her story- so I was a little perplexed as to why include that in this book, especially since she has her own book. I know the author was probably laying the groundwork for that next book- but I think this could have been achieved without revealing so much. But that is just my personal opinion, and it didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of this book. I will have to wait and see how knowing these little snippets will affect my reading of Book Two. There were a few editing issues with wrong words and/or wrong spelling, as well as some grammar issues. But these were fairly minor and again, didn’t detract too much from my overall enjoyment of the story. They just ‘pulled’ me out of the story when I encountered them- and I honestly feel that this book could have been quite stellar, if it had just been a little longer, and with a little more attention to detail from the editor/proof-reader. I really enjoyed meeting Gabe, Olivia- and the rest of this family- I found it easy to invest in them and the outcome of their story. I am quite intrigued by what the author has in store for us in future additions.

It’s been a while since I last read a regency romance novel, but I really enjoyed this one. Although at times the plot and characters get a little stereotypical and predictable, with an ‘enemies to lovers’ type of storyline, I really enjoyed the humour. The main characters Genevieve and Sebastian were mostly believable too. This was a quick, easy read.

True Bastard: A Dark Sparrow Novel by India Kells. This author never lets me down. Ever time I finish one story I always think to myself “this is the best one, no way will they be better in the next one!” And every single time this author blows my mind with the world she creates with words. This author knows that perfect balance of steam and storyline. The characters are complex and relatable, they immediately grab your attention and I promise you they won’t let you rest until their story has been told. I simply couldn’t put this book down, definitely found myself up way later than I should be but it was so very much worth all the lost sleep. The storyline is gripping and even the smallest details are focused on and written well. I highly recommend reading all of these books. Liam and Catriona will have you completely hooked and you won’t mind one bit getting lost in their story world for a while. I’m giving this story a huge like super huge five stars and highly recommended it!

This is book 4 in The Protectors Series. If you love paranormal romance and mystery this is definately a read for you.
Luna loves her life. She also loves her best friend Rhys. But with troubling dreams plaguing Luna and her mum she senses something bad about to happen.
Rhys also loves Luna and when the pair finally admit there feelings the need to work together to defeat the evil that is coming to tear them apart. Can the two lovers relationship and bond protect them and make them stronger or will something from Luna’s past destroy them both.
I loved this story. The romance element between friends Luna and Rhys was really well written and the mystery and magical aspects just brought the whole story together for me.

Enchanted Passion by Toya Richardson is the fourth book in the Protector series. This is a fast paced and exciting book that really keeps you turning the pages. The characters are really interesting to read about and the connection between them that is so strong. You really engage with them while reading the book. I enjoyed the overall story as well. I thought it was exciting and really kept the momentum going throughout the whole book. It is a strong addition to the series and a book I very much enjoyed. I have to admit from the start this isn’t usually the type of book I usually read. I was ultimately surprised how easy it was to read and it was very relatable with the relationships, the work environment, and the goings on that seemed to happen around the characters. This was very well written. I could see the characters and the places that they were in as if it were in a movie or I were there with them in the EC. It was also kind of neat to read about a more local destination, I haven’t come across a lot of books set in Michigan. This book certainly kept me on my toes and I am curious to know if it is going to continue with the relationships that formed during the entire story. If you are into some ghostly story telling, this is a great book to get into. It isn’t at all what I expected in a ghost story and that is what made me like it so much.

Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson is a paranormal romance and is the story of Luna, a witch and Rhys, an elemental. It is fast paced and full of surprises making my favourite of the series. It has a little bit of everything from witches and magic and shifters. Love comes in all shapes and sizes and when the universe deems it fated there is not much you can do but hang on for the ride. Toya always gives us that little bit more, that something that makes her worlds and characters charming and makes you feel a part of it. If you love a good paranormal romance with a few twists then look no further.

Road Tripped: Satan’s Devils MC Utah #1 by Manda Mellett. I’ve come to expect this author to always bring her absolute best when in comes to storyline and characters. Once again I’m very happy to say I wasn’t in anyway disappointed to see she’d done it again. Another fantastic book to add to not only my favorites list but also to my re-read list. The characters are complex and relatable, they immediately had me completely hooked and I couldn’t put it down nor did I want to even when I’d reached the end. This is book one in the series and I’m so excited to see where the author takes readers next. Well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five big stars!

Old and New: The Enchanted Wedding Dress Book 1 (The MacLellan Sisters Trilogy)
Lucinda Race 4 out of 5 stars
Old and New is the first book in the MacLellan Sisters Trilogy. This was the first book I have read by Lucinda Race but as I have found often with new to me authors lately, it will not be my last. I am the middle child, between two sisters so the sisterhood aspect of this novel, or trilogy is what drew me in initially. Old and New was an engaging read with imagery that transports you to the same time and place as the characters. I was interested in the story and the characters from the first page to the last and I am excited to know there are more books to come. If you are in the mood for a charming read, I really do recommend this one.

Road Tripped: Satan’s Devils MC Utah #1 by Manda Mellett
Like Road, it took me a bit to warm up to the Utah club. I wasn’t sure what to expect with them, it was much more than I could have imagined. There were questions from previous books that were answered and now I have more but I figure they will come.
I have read several of the Satan’s Devils books and I love the complexities of each of these characters. They all have several layers to them, some hide more than others which of course only intrigues me more.
This series is absolutely amazing and I can’t recommend it enough. These guys are all hard like you would expect a biker to be, but they are totally different with their families.
Are we going to see Vegas next or will we learn more about San Diego and Utah first? Either way I can’t wait for the next book.

Shattered is the first book in the Rhodes Family series. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I enjoyed it. I will warn, it is very R rated, and written for mature audiences. The book is a little too graphic for my liking, makes 50 Shades look like PG. But if I look beyond those scenes, the book had a good story line. I love that the female lead, Olivia, is a strong independent woman, and a rocking lawyer. Granted she is running from a failed relationship, but she is rocking her life. Gabriel is the male lead, and while he is arrogant, rich and a ladies man, he is also a pretty good guy. He is a family man, and goes above and beyond to take care of Olivia, even after just meeting her. I love the supporting characters as well, and look forward to seeing how book 2 plays out. There is some hints toward it’s plot at the end of this book. I loved the way the book was written, alternating point of views. While this is nothing new for romance books, seeing his and her views, this had a new approach I have never experienced. It has chapters for many of the characters, including Gabriel’s sister and parents. It added to the unfolding of the story and the emotions involved.

This book was a good one from an author i will defidently have to read more of! It was well written and i was pulled in from the very beginning. The characters are what made this story awesome. I really liked Manuela. All she wanted was to be a normal girl with a normal life and it was exactly the opposite. Revenge, Anger, Heartache, Love, and Mates. This story has so many awesome elements that made my heart happy and even sad. Manuela goes through alot but she is stronger because of it and that’s why i liked her so much! I would recommend this to anyone that likes a good paranormal story! I can’t wait to get my hands on more! Happy Reading!

Enchanted Passion is the fourth book in TheProtectors Series by Toya Richardson. This is a great friend-to-lovers paranormal romance, with mystery, the Protector community, witches, shifters, the supernatural, magic, elemental powers, risks, danger, drama, and high stakes Here we meet Luna and her best friend, Rhys. Luna has been having bad nightmares that have left her feeling on edge and with a powerful sense of impending doom. Is there more to her dreams than she realises? Having had a troubled past, what will happen when that past now threatens everything she holds dear? Where does Rhys fit in all of this? It’s worth the read to find out. My pick of the series, so far!

I enjoyed the vulnerability this book displayed of each character and not even just the main character. It showed depth to their inner emotions, their drive, ambition and what made them who they are. This book takes us deeper into each characters’ lives propelling forward to seek their own inner happiness without falling purely for and through lust. Very captivating read: I very much enjoyed how deep it kept getting because it’s human nature to want to be our best selves. Very beautifully done, Ms. Cynthia Hamilton. Bravo!

Road Tripped is the first book in a new series of Satan’s Devils MC books by Manda Mellett, this tome set in the Utah Chapter. When Manda introduced the San Diego Chapter, I admitted to being worried beforehand that I wouldn’t gel with the new Chapter. How wrong I was! This time I had no worries as I knew that Manda wouldn’t let me down. However as I started reading she threw me for a loop. These guys seemed nothing like the other Chapters and I started to panic. Silly me! Or course Manda was just playing with us and these guys soon found a place in my heart. Our main character Road we have met before as he was a member of the mother chapter and had travelled to Utah after an accident which left him no longer able to compete in trial bike riding. What he discovers is a totally different type of Satan’s Devils Chapter, whose ways he is intrigued by and decides to spend some time there. What he least expects is a woman who totally knocks him for 6. Swift is unlike any other women he has ever met. She’s ex British Army and is as feisty as hell. You certainly don’t want to get on her wrong side. As always, with Satan’s Devils books, this is more than just a romance story, Manda Mellett has written yet another amazing storyline that is gripping, exciting and full of danger. Having now been introduced to so many new brothers, I can’t wait to read their stories.

Distant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnes is the first book in the Nurse Morgan series. This is a unique and exciting story that will leave you wanting more of the characters even after the last page. This is the first book that I have read by this author but I can say for certain it will not be the last. I loved her writing style and how entertaining the whole book was. The characters are what really made this book though. They were so relatable that I connected with them immediately. One of the things that made this book so original is Morgan and her outlook on everything and the way in which you see that develop over the course of the book. This was an amazing book that was really well written. It is entertaining and engaging from start to finish. I would highly recommend this book!

This is a new to me author. I really enjoyed this book. It was a fairly quick and enjoyable read for me. I loved the characters and especially Cami and Dylan. Cami wants to be a musician so when an opportunity arises for her, she jumps at the chance. That is where she meets Dylan. When they go their separate ways, Cami has to help and put her family first. Will Cami and Dylan find their way back to each other. Take a trip to Branson and you will find out!!

Enchanted Passion by Toya Richardson a passionate five-star read. This is number four in the Protectors series and it could be read as stand-alone, but I have enjoyed it as a series and loved how the author has built the background and just envelops you into the story. This was such a good romance you could feel the heat and passion leap off the page, this author will take you away with the story and have you warming so quickly to the characters, not only Luna and Rhys but, friends and family as well.

5 Stars! Well Manda Mellett is killing it again! I am not 100% into this chapter yet, but it is only the first book of the series and I always seem to fall in love with all of Manda Mellett’s books in the end. I really enjoy seeing all the characters from the previous books mentioned, it shows how they are all connected. My heart hurt for Road, the fact that he couldn’t do what he loved the most really affected him and turned his life around, for the worst it seems. He felt lost, and of course his chapter president notices and sends him on a mission to get himself out of his own head. Introducing the first female in the brotherhood, Swift. She is seriously a badass especially with the complications she has, she doesn’t let that slow her down and rises through the ranks in the end. Road and Swift’s relationship is wonderful to watch unfold. I am SUPER happy that there was a female incorporated into the Satan’s Devils, it gave the story so much more depth. There is so much drama and action in this book, with Road trying to figure out what the Utah chapter is hiding, trying to stay alive and keeping Swift safe. I always think to myself, how much longer can these books go on? This author is truly and supremely talented in coming up with so many different stories and scenarios for these bikers. I am always blown away by the end.

Enchanted Passion is the fourth book in the Protectors series by Toya Richardson. This paranormal romance hooked me from the very first page. I couldn’t put it down.you can read this book as a standalone, but I recommend you read the whole series. The books are all fantastic and you will get a backstory. Luna and Rhys have great chemistry. This is a fast paced story, and my only problem was I finished it too soon. If you love paranormal romance, this is the series for you.
