My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love Song (A Friends-to-Lovers Rock and Roll Romantic Suspense) by K.G Fletcher is another wonderfully woven and entirely captivating story. I say this repeatedly, but Ms. Fletcher never fails to deliver a story that captures my heart and mind, every single time. I love her warm, sexy, almost lyrical writing style- it makes reading her books such a pleasure. The way she wove quite an intense and suspenseful story in and around a sweet romance was really clever- and definitely gave this book an extra zing. As expected, the story is sexy and romantic, with intense moments, edge of your seat suspense, tension, sparks, emotion, and drama- and of course let’s not forget about the music.
Well worth the read!

Thank you, Ms. Fletcher!

There is nothing like a good Romance read, one that will whisk you away with the storyline and have you utterly captivated with the characters, and make you believe you are there alongside them. This book does all this and more! Kinney Scott is a new author for me but after this read will never be again! I absolutely loved this read from the very beginning. I was captivated by the characters and their story. This read was fast paced, had all the feels and made me read it in one sitting. You couldn’t help but route for these characters for them to find happiness and their HEA. You really do fall for the characters in this read, get swept away and left wanting more. I can’t believe I never found this author before now! I highly recommend this read you will not regret picking this book up!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this story. This is a story of chance meeting and fate stepping in. This is one of my favorite stories from this author. I found this story to be well written with characters that make the story easy to read and engaging. This is a story about three people who all live in New York and end up meeting each other at Frank’s Diner. How will fate interfere in each of their lives? I enjoyed how they each have their own story but yet fate brought them together for a reason. I also enjoyed watching them grow throughout the story and become the strong characters they are. I won’t say too much about this as I highly recommend reading this book to find out. Find out why fate brought a waitress, architect and a rock star together.

As usual this is a wonderful love story from KG Fletcher! The story flows nicely. The characters just pulled me into their lives. Casey has a lot of growing up to do and delivered by the end of the book. Sam is amazing! Kind hearted, loving and fun. I absolutely love this guy later in the book!

Overall it’s a solid story. It does have an element of danger in it as well as seeing the love of these two people. I enjoyed it. It sparkles at the beginning but really shines later on.

Shooting Star (Back Door Records Book 1) by Xana Jordan – Review by Angela Hayes

Shooting Star (Back Door Records 1)Shooting Star by Xana Jordan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Shooting Star is the first book in the Back Door Records by Xana Jordan. It is a Rockstar romance with music, drama, chemistry, connection, love, romance, and plenty of emotion. This may have been my first Xana Jordan book, but it definitely won’t be my last.
Music agent Aiden doesn’t realise that by holding auditions for an opening act for his band that he is about to have his world rocked, in more ways than one. Aria voice is mesmerising and she’s exactly what he is looking for- on many levels. With such an intense chemistry between them, there’s no denying their connection. I don’t want to give too much away and spoil the story for you. But, this book really has everything you could want in a great Rockstar romance- all the emotion, banter, romance, wonderful characters, and dramatic developments- all help to bring this story come alive.
The way this story ended left me wanting more- in a good way- so now I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
Bring on Book #2!!!

Thank you, Xana Jordan!

I’m not quite sure how I hadn’t picked up this book from Fletcher before now. But I am SO thankful it found it’s way into my greedy hands. Fletcher is extremely talented with her words and storylines, always painting extremely relatable characters that somehow relate to the reader. I adored Casey and Sam and from the onset was cheering them on, hoping they would find a way. Add in the layer of intrigue with drama in their lives and this complex story kept me guessing at every turn. Fletcher holds the keys to my book loving heart and will always be a one click for me!

Shooting Star (Back Door Records #1) by Xana Jordan

Wow, is all I’ve really got to say about this book. Xana Jordan has really outdone herself with this. I’m looking forward to the next book in the Back Door Records Series.

Aiden, a band manager, has to find another band to take over an opening act. Sifting through bands, one catches his eye. Blue Venus. The quote I choose for Aiden is: “I want to wake up with you. Hold you in my arms. Fall asleep with my body wrapped around yours. See my goddess when I first open my eyes.”

Aria, lead singer of Blue Venus, doesn’t expect to find love. The band doesn’t expect to go on tour so soon, but when they’re called up to the plate. What happens when something tragic happens? The quote I choose for Aria is: “I can’t imagine going back and forth as much as you do. That would be hard for me.”

This was a very good book, but I warn you to grab a box or two of tissues. Xana has officially gained herself a new fan.

Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly – Review by Kayla Interdonato

Drawn to HimDrawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Drawn to Him is a wonderfully written romantic novel by Tammy Mannersly. Erica Townsend is the town’s art teacher. She owns an art store where she also teaches classes. She finds herself in the office of one of the most eligible bachelors of the town after a nasty spill in her shop. Little did Erica know, Dr. Matthew Garrick was going to turn her world upside down. She has sworn off love and finding the one to focus on her and her passion, but could Matt be the exception? Matt is determined to prove to Erica that love doesn’t have to ruin lives. He wishes so badly that Erica would just take a chance on him, but a secret admirer of Matt’s threatens to ruin all the progress Matt has made so far. The characters in this novel were great and the author did such an amazing job bringing them to life. I loved the small town feel of where Erica and Matt live, where everyone knows everyone and looks out for each other – most of the time. The romance between Erica and Matt is the perfect blend of sweet and steamy, which made the novel so enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this novel and look forward to reading other novels by this author.

I enjoyed this fairytale romance story. This is not my first story by this author but it is my favorite of hers yet. This is a story about a wedding dress that was sent to Jamie from her great-grandmother. There are a couple of problems with this. First Jamie has no intention of getting married and second the dress is supposed to be enchanted. She tries the dress on, will she change her mind? After meeting Caleb will he change her mind? The characters made the story easy to read and entertaining. They brought the story to life and left me turning pages fast. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what fate has instore for Jamie and this supposed enchanted wedding dress.

Better Than GoodbyeBetter Than Goodbye by Kinney Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Better Than Goodbye by Kinney Scott is the first book in the Venture series. This is a second chance romance story that has the characters on a rollercoaster from the word go. I liked from the start how realistic and engaging I found the story to be, even when there were times, I wanted it to have a little more depth. It is a story that I could easily envision as I was reading it.
The characters were interesting to read about. I knew that I wanted them to find way to make things work as I liked both of them. They had both been through a lot and it felt right that they should be together.
This author is one of those that always manages to create a great story with strong characters to back it up with. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series!

Love Song: A friends-to-lovers rock and roll romantic suspense by KG Fletcher – Review by Karyn Taylor

Love Song (A friends-to-lovers rock and roll romantic suspense)Love Song by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love Song is an amazing friends to lovers romance by one of my favourite authors K.G. Fletcher. I first discovered K.G. Fletcher with the amazing Southern Promises series and have devoured everything she’s written since then and I’ve adored every single thing she’s written and Love Song is no different. I adored this book.
Where this book was a little different to some of Fletcher’s other work is that this book had a darker edge to it. As well as the awesome romance that she writes this book also had a thrilling element to it. The thrilling storyline has you on the edge of your seat and gasping in shock.
K.G. Fletcher sure knows how to write an awesome romance story that totally pulls at your heartstrings and she did this with Casey and Sam’s story. I absolutely adored both of these characters. Casey is a strong willed, independent woman and has a heart of gold. Sam is an absolute sweetheart and is the type of guy anyone would want as a friend. In addition to these 2 there was another character who, in my opinion, was a total scene stealer and that is GG, Casey’s adorable 3 year old niece. She is just the cutest, most adorable kid ever and your heart just melts and breaks when you understand how much she’s gone through in her short life.
I’d give this book more than 5 stars if I could.

This is not my first book by KG Fletcher and it will not be my last. Fletcher’s writing style grabs me from the first page of the book until the last page. The characters are fun loving, grabbing your attention, and all around genuine. She breathes life into them which makes them real like they are a part of my everyday world. This book is about Casey and Sam. Casey is a background vocalist for a band and Sam plays the drums. Casey gets a text that no one should ever get and she leaves but Sam could not let her go alone. He goes to help protect Casey and her sister. Will Sam be successful in helping Casey or will there be more trouble for Casey and her sister? I highly recommend this story as it will tug on your heart strings.

This is a lovely romance with a suspense factor. The story is good. The characters were easy to like. Matt, the town doctor and eligible bachelor has found a women who interests him. At one time I thought he was A bit on the stalker side in his pursuit of her…but at least she didn’t think so. I do like that he is single minded enough though and doesn’t give up on what he wants.

These two live in a small town where everyone know everything about the townies. Rumors fly about and are shared with over a beer at the bar or shopping around town. This is what causes the secondary part of the story take over. I almost enjoyed this plot path better than the romance side.

Overall this is a good read. Not my fav by this author but still interesting enough to keep you engaged.

Drawn to him by Tammy Mannersly is a really enjoyable read. At the beginning of the book it seems like it will just be a romance novel however it quickly develops into a thriller. Erica has decided that a relationship is off the table, she is determined not to commit to another man until she meets the handsome local doctor. Matt is drawn to Erica and is determined to change her mind when it comes to romance. However, someone else in town has their sights set on Matt and is not going to let anyone get in their way. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book, I am intrigued by the secondary characters too, particularly the two best friends of the main characters, Seeley and Nate. I would recommend this book to lovers of romance and mystery. I loved the fact that this book kept me guessing right until the end.

I fell head over heels in love with Tyler and Gianna. At first I was slightly upset because of the way Gianna was being treated by her boss but as soon as her and Tyler met, I was back on board. I was worried that I wasn’t going to love Tyler as much because of the way he was, all about himself, in the first book. As I read on and got to know more of the reasons behind the way he was, I absolutely loved him. Throw in a spunky Italian from New York and we had a WINNER!!! I can not wait for Trey’s book!!!! I will just have to wait until I read that one to figure out which one of the Prentice brothers is my favorite, so far it is a close tie between Tate and Tyler!!!’

I am loving this series! Falling for the Texan is the second book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge by Nicole Flockton. Tyler Prentice is ready to lunch his winery but first, he needs some marketing help. Tyler thought he was having a friend help but he wasn’t expecting Gianna Lucchia. Gianna is the opposite of any girl in Texas, but can we say opposites attract. Tyler and Gianna were traffic characters and had me loving their romance.

I have fallen hard for the Prentice Brothers but I’m impatiently waiting to see what will happen with the third brother.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Drawn to Him is a feel-good easy romance by an Aussie writer Tammy Mannersly. I was feeling for some romance and I love Aussie writers and I had read one of Tammy’s other romances (second chances one) so I felt pretty good when picking up the copy of Drawn to Him. I was not disappointed! She delivered for sure AND in addition to the romance you could close your eyes and pretend that everyone was speaking with an Aussie accent and feel as if you were there, down under!
Drawn to Him gives us Erica, an art teacher and art store owner, and Matt, a mall country town doctor. Erica has sworn to stay away from love after all those failed relationships so she is not too happy when she feels that crazy electrifying connection to the doctor that is taking care of her after the injures herself. Matt is wishing for love but the way the single young women go after him, well, it is a bit unnerving and as it turns out his gut feeling was not wrong! Mix together exhilarating attraction, past failed relationship, a dangerous secret admirer and you get a romance that strikes a balance between a drama and easiness and you will not hesitate to pick up Tammy’s book in future!

Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly is a small-town romance. The story is about Erica and Dr. Matt who meet by chance. The two feel instant chemistry. Both have had their hearts broken in the past, will they be able to put the past behind them? I instantly liked the characters, especially Erica. She is smart, independent, and not caught up in all the small-town drama. I found this to be a quick but delightful read and wanted to see how the story would progress. This was a cozy story that I curled up to read. I look forward to reading more from Tammy Mannersly in the future.

Each of them has a starring role in this book and the author does an amazing job in making them come alive on the page. Their stories and how their lives intersect kept me turning pages wondering how it all would come out in the end. I found myself caring about Tobias, Philip, and Priscilla with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. There are moments of sadness as well as touching moments in this story. The three main characters find themselves reflecting on their lives and also sharing their stories. Don’t miss out on a story that grabs your attention from the beginning. Doing what he does best he finds the sultry voice of a girl named Aria and he falls head over heels for her. The same can be said for her, as she loved him on first sight. Deception by Victoria Saccenti

This is the first book I’ve read by the author, but it won’t be my last. Warning now if you don’t like BDSM then this won’t be a book for you.

Hunter is a girl who turns everyone away. She’s the type who doesn’t want to let a guy in. Known as a heartbreaker and homewrecker she likes life that way. Until Joe Reid enters her life. The quote I choose for Hunter is: “I thought I was losing my mind. See, he calls to me, and more bewildering is the sensation of healing I get from him.”

Joe, a former Marine, comes home for good. Losing a buddy of his started something that changes his life. Hunter wasn’t supposed to change his life but she did. For the better it seems. The quote I choose for Joe is: “Damn, girl. You flirt, you’ll find me and a hell of a lot more.”

This book was an amazing page turner and I will be keeping my eye out for more. Hunter and Joe are so realistic I thought it was a movie. I do highly recommend this for anyone who likes to think outside the box.

Rebecca Steele Finding the Dream (Rebecca Steele Series #2)Rebecca Steele Finding the Dream by Joanne Patterson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Rebecca Steel Finding the Dream is book two in the Rebecca Steel series by Joanne Patterson. I have yet to read book one, but I definitely will now. I don’t feel as though I needed to beforehand, I still very much enjoyed this story.

Becky is, of course, the star of the show in this story, but you get to meet some other wonderful characters along the way.
Beckys life is going better than she could have thought. Her dreams of being a country singer are becoming more real, and she’s working hard to be a success. Her relationship with her boyfriend is going from strength to strength, even with a few curve balls thrown their way. Life isn’t always sweet, but Becky works hard and you are rooting for her to get her happy ending.
There is so much packed into this story that at times I found it hard to keep up, although I usually favour stories that are more descriptive. You meet so many characters and have so many adventures that at times I would have to stop and retrace my steps slightly.
However, this is a lovely, heartwarming read and it was the perfect accompaniment to a sunny afternoon in the garden.

This is a great story of a woman out to get her man back after making a career move she didn’t know would ruin her personal life. The way it unfolds, you can’t help feeling Amanda’s pain as she misses Kent in a bed alone miles away from him. You’re holding out just as much hope as she does in wanting them to come back together. I love a story that can keep us rooting for love rekindled between two characters who make up as much as you hate to see them break up or away from one another. This is just as entertaining and easy to read for the reader as it is romantic.
