5 stars!
As always from Manda Mellett, another amazing story. We hear about the San Diego chapter of Satan’s Devils in previous books, so having the start to a new series is making me all kinds of happy! The one thing I love about this book is the characters are all older adults, which gives the series more depth in my opinion. In this book we meet Lost and Patsy. Of course both have had troubling pasts and bad previous marriages, but when they meet each other, there is an instant connection. As in previous books from this author, the characters have to overcome something troubling from their past that catches up with them. So of course Lost steps in to protect Patsy. Maybe with his help she can finally stop running from her past that is catching up to her, maybe she can finally relax knowing her children are safe. This book also shows the bond of the brothers in the MC and how close they are with each other and how no matter what happens between any of them they have each other’s back. Lost was really breaking my heart and I was hoping for the best for him, he deserves something good, and he finally finds that in Patsy. I keep thinking how long can this series last? How many more stories can be made and still be different from the last, but every time I pick up another book from the Satan’s Devils series, I am surprised, blown away and I fall in love. I can’t wait to see what is in store next.

by Manda Mellett

I absolutely loved this book as I knew I would because Manda Mellett has yet to ever disappoint me. I am so glad that we will be getting to know characters from the San Diego chapter. This was a great start to a new series. Lost and Patsy are both older characters who have been hurt in the past and aren’t looking for anyone, but they find themselves attracted to each other. They each have insecurities that make them more relatable. Lost has many doubts about his ability to lead. Patsy has doubts about her parenting and if she’s making the right choices. I couldn’t help but get invested in these characters and I just wanted everything to work out for them. To find out their story this is a must read. I highly recommend this book.

4 Stars

Lost Doesn’t have faith in himself and now finds that he’s the president of the club. He’s never sure if he’s making the right decisions. Patsy walks into his life needing protection and he falls head over heels. Patsy needs to stay under the radar with her son but she’s been found. She can’t run anymore but she needs help. She finds that and more with Lost. If she can stay alive maybe they’ll have a future.

This is another winning book by Mandi Mellett. I’ve read her Colorado chapters and they were amazing. This is a fantastic start to her San Diego series. The thing that I loved about this book is the fact that Lost and Patsy are middle aged. Most romance books center around young virile men and women. Life doesn’t stop because you turn fifty. This book shows that life and love go on after your children are fully grown.

OMG! Once again when I thought Manda Mellett couldn’t do it again, she does and my oh my does she do it well!
Every book I read by this author just gets better and better, and this one is no different. I love that coming from one set of books she can spin-off and create other series, and you don’t feel like the stories are being stretched too far!

Each character she brings us, whether we meet them in a previous read or they are a new character to us they are all refreshing, and you can’t help but love each character. Lost’s story is no different. This read really got me. Pasts play a big part in this read for both our main characters and really influences how their present plays out. Like many of our reads from Manda Mellett, we get romance, action, adventure, danger, suspense. Brothers that never back down and always have your back, no matter what! Each book casts you into this storyline and really feels real, and makes you really believe you are there alongside the characters.

I love the pace of this read, you are never lacking in anything which makes it even harder to put the read down! With Lost’s and Patsy’s read giving up an incredible start to a new series I can’t wait to see where else this chapter takes us!

This is a book not to be missed!
This is a series not to be missed or an author to be ignored!
I loved every second of this read and you will to!
I highly recommend this read!

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great MC novel by Manda Mellett, featuring the ‘Satan’s Devils MC’, this time the San Diego Chapter. This novel concentrates on older couple Lost and Patsy, it’s nice to have a MC romance storyline featuring an older couple for a change. Both of them have had bad past experiences with relationships and so they are wary of love. Lost is the new Prez of the San Diego Satan’s Devils following Snakes mutiny and death. Due to Snakes betrayal Lost is unsure about his new role but the MC members are all looking to him now for guidance. Then he meets Patsy, Patsy has always had to make tough decisions in her life and the latest one was choosing which of her two grown up children needed her help the most. This decision has led her to starting a new life but now they have been found and are on the run again and in danger until Lost comes into her life. Patsy wasn’t looking for a man at her age but she needs protection and feels she can rely on Lost, meanwhile he knows he should tell her to stay away from him but somehow he just can’t. This is a great story, with strong characters, a fast paced storyline and at the heart of it a second chance at love romance. It has drama and suspense but also concentrates on the relationships between the MC members and the women in their lives. I liked how Lost and Patsy’s relationship developed throughout the book and how their chemistry sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes between the couple. A great read, and it was nice to meet a new chapter of the Satan’s Devils and I look forward to reading future books in this series.

This book took me by surprise at how good it was but also multilayered. Full of action with the scenarios of her getting justice for herself and the other victims of Eddie’s crimes. Romance with she and Robin that she can have the best of both worlds and this is only the beginning for this duo! There’s a great sense of action from characters out to seek vengeance even in a completely fictional way.

What a lovely story!! I have read books by this author previously so I was really looking forward to starting this one and I did really enjoy it! I read the story quite quickly and I think that because it was so well written and had a fantastic pace the words just seemed to flow along and it was an easy read. I loved the characters, Chloe and Sebastian! Chloe has such a wonderful nature especially towards animals, she had a connection with them and I really enjoyed watching her and Sebastian form a connection also. The animals in the story were a great addition also; it definitely made the characters feel more connectable for me being an animal lover also. As with all good romance stories there were some twists and turns but deep down I was rooting for Chloe and Sebastian the whole way through!
A fantastic heart-warming read and one that I would highly recommend! I can’t wait to read more from Ms Daniels again!

Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett – Review by Angelina Frazzini

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being Lost by Manda Mellett is book one of the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego Series. Manda doesn’t get it wrong with these MC books and this one is no exception!

Lost is feeling the weight of the MC on his shoulders. He didn’t expect to become Prez and now he has to make sure he does right by the club. The Tucson chapter requested that they keep an eye on a woman and her son moving to the area. Lost doesn’t expect Patsy and especially doesn’t think he deserves a chance. Patsy had to make an extremely hard decision when she decided to move away and start a new life with her son. Now, danger is knocking at their door. Patsy has lived her life. She doesn’t need a man. Which makes meeting Lost a surprise for her. Even better because he’s attracted to her too! Patsy is so much stronger than she gives herself credit for. After all, she made an impossible decision and is sticking with it despite the danger she faces. Lost doubts himself at every turn but no way will he let that interfere with his obligations to the club. Will these two work through their issues so they can work on being together?

I couldn’t put this book down. I had to find out what was going to happen next. Patsy and Lost both went through a lot in their lives but still wanted to work through it all to be together. I really enjoyed these characters and this book!

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Being Lost is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. It is the latest story in the Satan’s Devils MC world and the first book for the San Diego chapter- although we have met them before in previous books.
I have read all of Ms. Mellett’s books now, and always enjoy what she produces- and even though I did like this book, it didn’t blow me away like some of her previous stories did. I just didn’t ‘feel’ this one as much as I would have liked.
Lost and Patsy are more mature characters which was great to see. So that provided an interesting dynamic to the story. While there was suspense and mystery to the story, I didn’t feel the intensity and tension that normally comes with Ms. Mellett’s work.
Entertaining- wonder what Ms. Mellett has in store for us next?

Thank you, Manda Mellett!

Well i say this every time and I’ll keep saying it im sure, but this author has one heck of a gift with writing.
This is the first book of the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils, and while we have met some of these members in other books, we get to see them on their home turf.

Laying low seems to be the premise of this book for both Lost and Patsy. I am so so happy to be able to see what happens after Inks story (from a previous book) with Patsy and her son.
Again I was rolling through my emotions and even though its an older couple, and done so well I might add, we still get the key things we look for in a motorcycle club romance and especially with this group of bikers.
I can’t wait to see where this chapter of the club goes.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As soon as I finished Fade (book 1 in the series) I had to start Fall. The story starts within moments of where the first book ended. Arionna is recovering in the hospital and Dace is beating himself up because he couldn’t keep her safe. These two have a bond that has kept them together for many lifetimes. Their relationship is strained at times but as the books progress, you can really see how much they love each other and how committed they are to saving everyone. There are moments when Arionna seems to get swallowed up in her feelings but isn’t that what many of us did when we were young and trying to figure out what we are on this earth for?

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellet

Yes, we have another chapter of the Satan’s Devils to read about. I’m so excited about the San Diego branch because I love these guys.

Lost is the President of the San Diego branch. He has some issues from his past that seem to linger but he’s a great guy and just like the others in this series he will do what he has to to protect the club and family.

Patsy is not a stranger to the club environment, her daughter is with someone out of Colorado. She has someone from her past chasing her and the Devil’s are stepping up to help.

I’m looking forward to getting to know each of the guys in San Diego and watch them fall like their brothers in Arizona and Colorado.

There was the right amount of suspense and intrigue without being cheesy about it. Ms. Mellett has been good about that in all of the books of hers I have read.

Wonder which once of the big guys is going to follow next.

Being Lost by Manda Mellet was another great MC read! This is the first book in the new Satan’s Devils San Diego series and it does not disappoint. It follows what happens in the Colorado series, so it makes more sense to read those first before this one, even though this one could technically be a stand alone novel. This story continues from the first story Fade. The characters are complex and well thought out. The plot-line has fantasy, prophecy, Norse mythology, and danger. The characters are fully developed and I felt a connection as the story went on. The story has a fast pace feel and I found myself not getting enough and turning the pages more quickly. This story has many characters who support one another. Arionna is trying to get Dace past his guilt. She does not want him to fall apart. Will Arionna have to go through to save the people she loves? I highly recommend this story.

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Author Manda Mellett does it again with another stellar MC book Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1. Lost is the current President of the San Diego chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. The only reason he is President is because he used to be VP until his president ended up getting himself killed and then he was voted in. But every day he questions whether he is making the right choices for his club. He’s been asked by the Colorado chapter to keep an eye on a member’s old lady’s mother and brother who have relocated. Soon trouble comes knocking and Lost must decide if this woman is worth jeopardizing the safety of his club. Patsy made a huge decision to move with her son to a new place, secluded from her past life. Unfortunately it seems to catch up with her, but not before Satan’s Devils find her. She knows she needs protection but hasn’t been with a man since her ex-husband. She knows she can trust Lost, but does he believe enough in himself? Yet another amazing MC novel written by this author. I love that she uses story lines from other books to tie together the clubs, but you don’t have to read the other novels to understand this one (although I highly recommend you do). I love the way the author is able to make two unlikely people just fit so perfectly for one another. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and look forward to others by Manda Mellett.

This is the 2nd book of The Ragnarok Prophesis. And wow what a story. It is full of action and fantasy. Love and heartbreak. It is so well written you can’t help but feel every emotion. It has had me in tears and you can really feel the emotional struggle the characters go through.

Arianna and Dace are shapeshifters and soul mates. Brought together by Odin their job is to stop Hati and Skoll from completing their tasks and freeing Fenrir. If he got free that would mean the end of the world.

Over the years and centuries they have fought side by side and everytime Dace has had to stand by as his love is killed by Hati and Skoll.

The year is now 2010 and they find each other again. However this time Airanna’s wolf is so diminished she can no longer shift and Dace is terrorise by all the times he was unable to save her. With the guilt constantly playing on his mind he starts to put their other friends at risk just to keep her safe.

Arianna knows he cant go on like this else he will go down a road he cannot be redeemed from and may cause the end of the world so she makes the heartbreaking decision to leave him.

Can they survive apart? Will her departure mean he can release his guilt and get back to focusing on stopping Skoll and Hati? Or will this sacrifice she makes of destroying her heart still end up with everyone she loves dying instead of saving them.

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Being Lost is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. I’m a huge fan of Manda Mellett having read several of the Satan’s Devils Arizona books and all of the Colorado ones. I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive of a new series as I’d grown to love the guys in the other series’ and was worried about getting another new bunch to get to know. This was just me being stupid as I should have known that Manda Mellett would not let me down.
I loved that she used links to the other 2 chapters from the very beginning to make you feel right at home straight away without feeling overwhelmed with all the new characters.
Being 1 short of the Big dreaded 5 0, I loved that Being Lost’s story centred around a couple in their early 50’s. It’s such a welcome change to read about an older couple who don’t have perfect bodies. They have a few extra pounds here and there and a few grey hairs and wrinkles but still have a very sexy storyline. There is hope for me yet!! Lol.
As with other Satan’s Devil’s book there is a great storyline running along with the romance of the main couple involved. The storyline in this book was thrilling and dangerous and a carefully worked out plot. I’m in awe of how Manda Mellett writes these amazing stories. I just can’t get enough of the Satan’s Devils.

5 out of 5 stars

One of my favorite movies is the second Santa Clause when Scott Calvin must find a wife by Christmas Eve. Imagine my excitement when I stumbled across the synopsis of Wrapped Up in You!
While Christmas is still many months away, this was a perfect book for a Christmas in July feel and an escape from all that is going on in the real world right now. This is the first book I’ve read by Erin Bevan but it certainly will not be my last. Erin has a talent for creating characters that you really feel connected to and want what is best for. The story flowed very well from beginning to end and I couldn’t wait to see how things unraveled. If you love the spirit of Christmas, a good romance or an escape from reality, this is for you.

Wrapped Up in You by Erin Bevan is a fun and sweet romance that is unique and original. Erin has given us a twist on the North Pole and its inhabitants. This wonderfully written Christmas tale will transport you to another world where Elves, magic and wily and sassy reindeer are the norm. It is warm, cheery and a nice change of pace.

Wrapped up in You is not your every day love story, but I have loved all the books I’ve read by Erin Bevan, so I dove right in. I ended up loving it. It is a cute love story, but with a magical Christmas twist. The connection between Jenny and Logan was instantaneous, but the circumstances complicated things. Jenny is the daughter of Santa Claus, and has to pick her husband within the next 3 weeks, in a bachelorette style contest. Weeks before Christmas, on the night of her big Gala, Logan crashed his plane into the toy workshop, destroying half a years work of work, and has lost his memory. In an attempt to urge everyone to pickup extra shifts, Jenny agrees to marry the hardest working. The level of competition, sabotage, and trickery is fun to read about, both elf and human. We discover more about Jenny and Logan little by little, as they get to know each other. We also get to know her suitors a bit more, and I must say, I want to know more about Benigan. Its a cute story, and is clean which is always a plus in my opinion. I love the Christmas twist and the little hints and secrets of Christmas magic that are inserted here and there. Recommended reading, and once again, Bevan did not disappoint.

This was a sweet holiday romance. I love all things Christmas so this book was right up my ally. I felt for Jenny in this story because she’s trying to do the right thing by her family, but her heart is telling her something different. When a pilot named Logan crashes into the toy factory he doesn’t remember anything about his life. The chemistry between these two jumped off the pages. Logan finds himself torn between his feelings for Jenny and needing to know about his life before the crash. This story is full of drama, romance, really cute elf names and more. This book kept me entertained throughout. I highly recommend this book.

5-Stars

Wrapped Up In You by Erin Bevan was a romantic and engaging read. This book really put me in the holiday spirit and its July. I loved it. A bright spot of happiness in all this pandemic madness.
This book had excellent characters and was a unique perspective on the traditional Christmas holiday. Each character had great personality and was realistic. I found that the storyline had an easy flow with great transition from chapter to chapter. This truly was an enjoyable read and easily a 5-Star book. I highly recommend it.
