Date night by KM Lowe is the first book that i have read by this author and im not disappointed. Date night is sweet short romance read. I really liked reading about Kyle and Hannah they were fun and entertaining to read about. Hannah is someone you could see your self being best friends with and Kyle seems like the man most ladies dream about. Once i started reading this book I could not stop. I would love to read more about Kyle and Hannah but I would also like to read more about Hannahs best friend and business partner Jesse and his life partner Peter!!!! I look forward to read more books by KM Lowe. Thank you KM Lowe for this wonderful romance read.

Date Night by KM Lowe is a romance novel that you wouldn’t want to miss.

Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to passion. It’s a day for couples to prove how much they care for one another. Gifts and romantic acts are the order of the day on Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day, on the other hand, brings Hannah Brently nothing but heartache and suffering. It wasn’t her definition of fun to be dumped on February 14th. It makes her hate the whole institution of love. That is before Kyle Randall enters her life.
Kyle Randall is one of the most deserving Batchelor’s in Glasgow. With his riches and good looks, he’s the complete package. He isn’t looking for affection, though. That is, before his and Hannah’s worlds collide. When two pessimistic people meet for the first time, what could happen? Would Hannah and Kyle’s Valentine’s Day ever be the same? Take a seat, unwind, and enjoy the journey.

I loved every page of it. Every chapter was lovely. I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

This is a lovely little holiday tale. The story is fun, flirty and has wonderful characters. The two MC both are uneasy about relationships and love. Both are successful and have an instant connection. I enjoyed the secondary characters almost as much as the main. Jesse and Peter are wonderful friends to Hannah. They bring a lot to the table for her. Jiles and even Col (who was a surprise) are great guys on Kyles side and helpful as well as kind.

Overall I enjoyed reading this. The characters are a dream. All easy to love and care for. The story is a nice light hearted read.

Date Night by K. M. Lowe is a great story, especially if, like me, you love a romantic story.

Getting dumped on Valentine’s day is brutal, no wonder Hannah is a tad cynical and not exactly looking forward to it coming around again. In fact, she’s pretty much given up on the whole love thing altogether.
Kyle is cynical about love too, he’s had bad experiences and is avoiding relationships. But when the two finally meet after working together remotely, sparks fly and the chemistry is hard to deny for both of them.

Date night is a sweet romance, I found it easy to read and the pages just kept on turning so it was over far too soon. I really enjoyed the author’s style of writing and will lookout for more books from them in the future.

I LOVED this box set of books!!! What can I say, definitely worth the read and HOT HOT HOT!!! I loved how there were 5 different Alpha type guys with each story and they were each so different. I cannot pick a favorite as I loved all 5 main alpha male characters since each were so unique in their own way. I definitely laughed, smiled and swooned over each story. Highly Recommended.

Apocalypse Nope!! by Deidre Huesmann a five-star ride of a read. This wasn’t what I was expecting, but to be honest I didn’t know what to expect, but this made me smile so much, Ivy-Jean is relatable, I understood why she doubted herself and haven’t we all felt like that as a teenager. But it’s the four Horsepeople that really bring the story to life, they add something special to the story. This is creative, original, well written and just an overall great read.

Date Night by K.M. Lowe a four-star read that will keep you warm at night. This was a good story, but I have read others by this author and they were better. I adored the characters, they kept me reading, as they didn’t have the best story to keep me hooked, but themselves were funny and had great timing. More detail would have made this a better overall story, but I am picky, I like getting to know where the characters are as much as themselves. If you want snarky and romantic without being flowery then pick this story up.

This is a heartwarming and lighthearted romantic comedy which had me hooked from start to finish. Hannah Brently hates Valentine’s Day having been dumped previously on the 14th February and now she hates everything to do with the day of love. She has also been put off the idea of love in general and is definitely not looking for a relationship. Then she meets one of Glasgow’s most eligible Bachelors, Kyle Randall. For Kyle although he has both wealth and good looks he has not found anyone he wants to settle down with and is not looking for love, until he meets Hannah. This is a romance featuring two cynical main characters who just happen to share a mutual attraction and a sizzling chemistry. I loved Hannah and Kyle and found them likeable and relatable and loved how their relationship developed. The storyline flowed well and although it’s a fairly short read it’s definitely packed full and had me happily turning the pages. I found ‘Date Night’ to be an enjoyable and engaging read and one which I definitely recommend.

I LOVED THESE BOOKS! I love the characters and each one’s story. They really were fun to read. The characters were really likable. I think of all of them I think Dante was definitely my favorite. Although I loved the goofy shirts mentioned for Ozzy. Initially, I didn’t think I would like Fox as much as I did but he was very well written and likable. Totally recommend this series if you are looking for a relatively short but great upbeat romance. I found myself smiling a lot when reading and couldn’t put them down! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

I enjoyed this young adult paranormal story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. This is a well written story that took me on an apocalypse adventure like no other. The characters are relatable and brought the story to life on each page I read. This is a fast paced story that will take you on an adventure of having the choice of bringing an apocalypse or saving a mother. Ivy-Jean is a tall, awkward teenager who is left with no choice to either end humanity or save her mother all because she opened someone else’s mail. What happens next, I highly recommend reading to find out. This is a truly a great story that will take you on a nonstop adventure.

Apocalypse Nope by Deidre Huesmann is an interesting young adult story that includes several different fantasy creatures, as well as the seemingly normal Ivy-Jean.

Ivy doesn’t fit in; she’s different. When you have spiders for friends, it definitely sets you apart. As a teenager, everything is utter chaos and world ending. However, Ivy accidentally brings an apocalyptic terror to her world. At what price would you be willing to save the world? Would you be willing to risk your mother?

Every war has tough decisions and a price to pay. What will be worth it to our little heroine?

Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set by Phoebe Alexander

A HOLE (Alpha Bet Guys #1)

Ace has left his life behind in New York and comes back to Philly. There he finds that a certain bank teller has caught his eye. When he’s mistaken for someone else things are blown up. The quote I chose for Ace is: “Wow, thanks for that. Comparing me to a damn isotope. I hope you know that’s going in one of my stand-up routines.”

Ella isn’t sure what Mr. Bennett wants with her. She knows he’s an a**hole, but what happens when she starts falling for him. She goes to her besties sister and finds that she had him mixed up with someone else. The quote I chose for Ella is: “Well, wouldn’t it be hilarious to get back at Ace for what he did to Cara by pulling the same nonsense? Making out with him and then forgetting who he is? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?”

The Big O (Alpha Bet Guys #2)

Ozzy has his eyes set on the new girl. Noticing her means dropping glass on the floor. She helps him clean it up and walks away. Getting to know her is needed. The quote I chose for Ozzy is: “Oh, right. I guess it is a work night.”

Hazel is new to town and is looking for something different. Living on a chicken farm wasn’t the best. Not when she was a chicken sexer. The quote I chose for Hazel is: “That chapter of my life is over now. I’m looking to make a fresh start in a chicken-free environment. I’m a vegan.”

Need the D (Alpha Bet Guys #3)

Dante just celebrated his 30th birthday and he sees two of his friends in great relationships. Ella and Hazel are amazing, but now it’s his turn. When at Fox’s birthday bash he eyes a beauty. The quote I chose for Dante is: “Any idea who that is?”

Julia used to work for Fox and is still a close friend. When she arrives at the party she wonders if he’s got any hot single friends. Then she meets and falls in love with Dante. The quote I chose for Julia is: “Yes, well, it’s a lot of work. Doesn’t leave a lot of time for…socializing.”

Hard F (Alpha Bet Guys #4)

Fox has always had a silver spoon in his mouth. Although he didn’t like being driven around and would much rather drive himself. After a hard day at work he stops at a pub. There he meets someone he can see himself falling for. The quote I chose for Fox is: “Would it be terribly gauche of me to order a dry martini with extra olives?”

Jenna is now running her father’s pride and joy. When Fox comes in she dismisses that he’s hot. She doesn’t want to date, but damn if Fox doesn’t make her change her mind. The quote I chose for Jenna is: “He was old enough to be my father! As a matter of fact, he reminded me of my father!”

Ride the C (Alpha Bet Guys #5)

Cruz is getting older and is losing his touch in the model world. When a new opportunity comes along he can’t pass it up. He was going to meet an idol of his. The quote I chose for Cruz is: “Wow…. Well, if you can get me an interview, I’d be forever grateful.”

Mia is once upon a time a supermodel. Now she writes an advice column in Queen B. She needs a male’s advice on things like dating and intercourse. The quote I chose for Mia is: “Can you adjust the lighting over the desk? Or do you think the natural lighting over there by the window is more flattering?”

Highly recommended for Romantic Comedy lovers.

Each story was a page turner and left this reader anxiously anticipating the next story. Miss Alexander develops her characters very well making it darn near impossible for you to not picture them as real people inside your head. But if you are looking for something fun and exciting to read then I would highly recommend The Alpha Bet Guys Boxed Set.

I loved this box set of five steamy romantic comedy novellas, each one based on a different couple involving an alpha guy and a curvy women. The guys are all college friends who have been reunited in Philadelphia. Book one, ‘A-Hole’ is Ace and Ella’s story which brings two complete opposites together via a bet and some comedy. ‘The Big O’, is chemists Ozzy and Hazel’s Story and Ozzy is determined to give Hazel something she’s never had, a big O! Book three is Dante and Julia’s story, ‘Need the D’, which has a reverse age gap and baby storyline. Julia has a to do list featuring dick, donor, and daddy but can she get Dante on board. ‘Hard F’ is Fox and Jenna’s billionaire and opposites attract story. Two ageing models take on a media giant together in a reverse age gap and body positive storyline featuring Cruz and Mia, in novella five, ‘Ride the C’. These novellas took me on an emotional rollercoaster and each one was a full standalone story in itself. Each story had great characters, plenty of drama and romance, plus some steamy scenes and laugh out loud moments. I ‘binge read’ the whole boxed set and could not put each book down as I cheered on each couple hoping they would each get their happy ever after.

This was a wonderful read and would be perfect for anyone who enjoys light humor and YA categories. All of the chapters were written well. Ivy-Jean is extremely relatable, pessimistic, views herself as an outcast, and is downright odd. Once she opened that piece of mail, her life changed forever. The Four Horsepeople are undeniably, for me, the best characters in this book. I found it easy to place them in the positions that they were given. They were thrown into a human high school and seemed to fit in rather perfectly, all things considered. I assumed that there was a bigger shock coming with the clues that were given in the text, but it did not come. It could, however, leave room for a part two that shows us more about how Ivy-Jean came to be. If that’s the case, sign me up!

Oh gosh!! Meet the Alpha Bet Guys! These five buddies (Ace, Ozzy, Dante, Fox and Cruz) are in for their fair share of ups and downs during their new chapters in life. Running said lives while making crazy life changing bets with each other (Boys will be boys!) too. With each new bet AND book, you are gripped into the book just waiting to see who wins the bets and what happens to the loser(s)!!! I have to tell you that ALL the characters are wonderful! I know people who can relate to every single one of them! I can’t recommend this set of books enough! I don’t want to give to much away, but….. I had high hopes for this book and was really in need of a pick me up with some light hearted flirting, a little bit of stream and humour. This series was completely jam packed with all of those things and I LOVED it! I loved all the characters in this series, I think they were beautifully developed in such a short space of time and you could really relate to a lot of them. I loved how curvy women were represented, as so often we see beautiful women described as being thin and athletic. I though it was lovely to have curvy women celebrated in such a positive way. I really do not have a bad word to say about any of the stories in this series. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of reading these books and look forward to reading more just like this.

I loved this book! The characters were amazing! It’s not often I find a book where I love all the characters. Hannah was a sweet and strong woman who’s been through the ringer when it comes to heartbreak and Kyle hasn’t had it much better. I found the world building to be lacking a tiny bit but I think that’s because it was so focused on building the characters and their relationships with each other and that more than made up for it! The Alpha Bet guys Boxed set by Phoebe Alexander, well what can i say but you really have to read this fantastic collection of Fun, witty and heart warming stories. I mean who doesn’t like reading about gorgeous Alpha males and the women they meet who show them they might be alpha but love wins out in the end. Each story contains a bet between the group of five friends. i know, Men right? they will bet on anything and i mean anything.

A Hole…. funny guy Ace connects with beautiful bank teller Ella, who at the beginning thinks she just might help his friends to win their bet against him. With a some fun twists and turns along the way I wonder who really wins this bet.

The Big O…. Nerdy (and probably my fav, I mean who doesn’t love a sexy Nerd) Ozzy falls for equally Nerdy Hazel. Sweet Ozzy vows to help gorgeous Hazel with something very special but can he do that and keep his friends off his back about the bet they made with him.

Need the D…. Dante and Julia… this felt like an Alpha meets Alpha story to me at first but then we are shown the true softer sides of both Dante and Julia… this story takes a very unexpected turn for our leading man Dante, who gets a little mixed up about his bet…or is it a bet at all? you will have to read this fab story to find out!!

Hard F….. Fox and Jenna….Oh this was the story i was waiting for… Fox is most often the one to start all the bets so to see him finally get a bet put before him was a treat! Is Fox capable of learning more about what “real” life is about? I must admit though I started this story wanting to see him get his butt kicked but it didn’t take long for Ms Alexander to have me totally on team Fox for the win! I fell for Fox and His Sweet Jenna… i wanted their story to have a happy ending. To me that is one of the signs of a good writer when you can change someones opinion of a character.

Ride the C…. Cruz and Mia…the world of fashion and models can be so superficial and in this heart warming story you get to see the untold side of this so called glamorous lifestyle through the eyes and hearts of two characters who are at a point in their journeys where they need to make decisions…can they make them together though is the big question?

I enjoyed this sweet romance story. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed every book I have read by her. One of the things I enjoy most is her ability to pull me into the story from the beginning and her attention to details give a realistic feel. This book is no different. This is a well written short story that I read in one day. It is a story about Hannah who was dumped a couple of days after Valentines Day. It is a day that holds nothing but bad memories for her until Kyle walks into her life. Will he change her feelings about this day? What does fate have in store for them? I enjoyed watching the characters grow throughout the story. They made the story come to life on each page and just made the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.
