Date Night by KM Lowe – Review by Jennifer Gordon
Date Night by K.M. Lowe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is a heartwarming and lighthearted romantic comedy which had me hooked from start to finish. Hannah Brently hates Valentine’s Day having been dumped previously on the 14th February and now she hates everything to do with the day of love. She has also been put off the idea of love in general and is definitely not looking for a relationship. Then she meets one of Glasgow’s most eligible Bachelors, Kyle Randall. For Kyle although he has both wealth and good looks he has not found anyone he wants to settle down with and is not looking for love, until he meets Hannah. This is a romance featuring two cynical main characters who just happen to share a mutual attraction and a sizzling chemistry. I loved Hannah and Kyle and found them likeable and relatable and loved how their relationship developed. The storyline flowed well and although it’s a fairly short read it’s definitely packed full and had me happily turning the pages. I found ‘Date Night’ to be an enjoyable and engaging read and one which I definitely recommend.
