Twisted Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops #1) By Amy McKinley is a brilliant read from start to finish. I was captivated and held on the edge of my seat the whole time. I had my suspicions about one particular character but the amazing Ms McKinley had me double guessing myself the whole time. Nothing in this suspense filled, drama packed novel is what you will expect.
In Twisted Secrets we meet the beautiful but tormented Riley and super gorgeous Navy Seal Xander. You will instantly fall in love with these wonderful characters who are full of heart and depth. You will become engrossed in their story and won’t want to put the book down.
Ms McKinley and her Deadly Isles Special Ops series definitely has a new fan in me. do yourself a huge favour and read it!

Elusive is the 5th book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series and I was pulled in right from the beginning. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing.
Sheldon and his team are hired to protect Alexis. She has a very dangerous man trying to find her and will stop at nothing to get her. When these two meet there is an instant connection and something about Alexis calls to Sheldon’s dominant side.
Will Sheldon and his team be able to keep Alexis safe?
Overall this was a great read. You get danger, mystery, romance and so much more. I REALLY liked Sheldon and I enjoyed reading their story, it was intense at times. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading from the beginning. I look forward to reading more from this author and series.

Brink of Denial: Sons of Sindicato Book 1 is an awesome book full of action, suspense, and twists, continuing an amazing series. This book concentrates on Dane and Mila who have a past together from when they were young. Mila finally comes to figure out that she misses Dane, who was her first serious boyfriend, and be by his side. Of course Dane doesn’t make it easy for her to be back in his life with the hurt and pain Mila caused him when she left. The authors are great at writing about relationships and how things don’t go as planned. The characters and the experiences they have suck you in so you want to read the book in one sitting!

Sexy Drug (Losing My Heart Book 1) by Melody Calder is fast moving with drama and danger, drugs and love, action, and suspense. The cover leads to think this is a dark story and it is not wrong. This intense story is both confronting and brutal and certainly keeps the pages turning. My heart was pounding, and I often found myself holding my breath at the emotions I found myself dealing with.

After doing some intel, he finds out that the guy is a known human trafficker and murderer. Knowing that the guy will stop at nothing to get to Alexis, Sheldon knows he needs to protect her. Alexis calls to him in ways that he hasn’t felt in a long time. He wants to tame her fiery character and see where this relationship can go. Will they have time to take this to the next level or will she end up losing in this game of life or death?
This was an action packed book filled with danger and suspense. It frustrated me that Alexis kept putting herself in danger by not listening. It kept me on edge through most of the novel. I kept wanting to know what would happen next and I felt like I couldn’t read fast enough. It was an excellent story. You need to read this series!

This is Sheldon and Alexis’ story and how they came together. Sheldon is an elite bodyguard and Alexis is an independently strong woman. These two have more in common than they know. One submissive and one very dominant. Make for this romantic suspenseful story. I recommend you read this series in order, it will help in getting to know the characters and the work they do.
Via Mari has done it again. I knew when this book came out that everything around me would disappear. The moment I opened this book to read, I was sucked in. The suspense starts at the very beginning and continues until the last page is read. I absolutely love the characters in this story. Sheldon and Alexis are people I would love to be friends with. This is a fast paced and nonstop read. Gather everything you need, as you will not be able to put this one down. Well Done Via Mari! Well Done!

I live in a world where I am a commodity to my father, but when a new bodyguard turns up can I make nice and tolerate him or will he shock me and see the real me.
Katie is the daughter of the big crime boss, she is an object to him but she is trying to become her own person but when you are watch 24/7 can I truly let my hair down and become the person I want to be.
Ramone started at the bottom of the pole, a drugs mule for the biggest crime family but slowly through the years he has progressed through the ranks and is now in the inner circle, the only problem now he has been asked to become the security to the bosses daughter, the only problem is he can’t stand her so this assignment should be interesting.
This is the first book I have read by this author and enjoyed this book from the first word to the last. The story is a lovely slow burn where you get to know the history and back story for both characters, I loved the way the characters play the antagonist to each other and while at the beginning they can’t stand each other but slowly get to know each other and then start having feelings.
The secondary characters in the book develop and draw you further into the story and the you feel invested in the mysteries and twist that this story has to offer. I really enjoyed this book and would love to read the next instalment and see if there are more answers revealed in the next book.

Elusive is the 5th book in the outstanding Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. I’ve been a huge fan of Via Mari’s work for some time but I have to say that this is my favourite series of her. Rather than being the billionaires who have everything at their fingertips, these are the elite team of guys who are hired to look after the billionaires and their families. Each book in the series can be read as a stand-alone. In Elusive we get the story of bodyguard Sheldon who is given the job of keeping Alexis safe from an evil human trafficker who is stalking her. The attraction between them is off the charts but can Alexis allow herself to become involved with another dominant man after a very bad experience with one in the past. Sheldon will do everything to get Alexis to see how she is the perfect submissive for him and that she can trust him never to hurt her. I loved reading Sheldon and Alexis’ story. Although submissive, Alexis is also very sassy and this makes for some very entertaining moments in the book. In typical Via Mari style this book is very steamy and the sex scenes are hot as hell. I was pulled into this book from the very first chapter and it kept me entertained throughout, not just with the sex scenes but the over all story is filled with drama, danger and intrigue that will keep the reader hooked. Definitely recommend.

When you are in slump after a mission has gone wrong and you start questioning things in your life, in walks an angel and you believe everything will be alright, or will it.
Xander is a navy seal but when his mission with his team goes wrong and causes him to have to take some down time to recover he feels that sometime just was not right with the intel, bit he has more to worry about when his girlfriend decides to leave him he feels like the world is working against him. One day all this changes when he hears a voice that he is instantly drawn too but will he be able to convince the owner of the voice they belong together.
Riley is a grad student, working in a coffee shop to help with the funds but one day she see him, the man who she can’t get out of her mind although she is in a relationship but what she thought was in her past, may invade her future.
I loved this story and I love Amy McKinley’s novels and this is just as good as the other stories. The chemistry between these two characters was brilliant and drawn you in. Listening to the story draws you in and keeps your attention from the first page to the last.
I also think the secondary characters enhance the story and make this a un deniable great read. The tale twists and turns and brings both of the characters history to light which just adds to the mysteries within the story. I not only recommend this book and can’t wait to read the download book in the series but if you love this book you need to listen other series by this wonderful author.

This story took me a little bit to get into because how Alexis gets brought into the fold, so-to-speak. I would imagine that if you are a family that needs heavy security, you’d have back up options already vetted in case your primary person wasn’t available. Other than that, the story was entertaining – full of suspense, danger, and steamy scenes as one would expect in a romance.

This is the second book in this series which I loved just as much as the first one. I never hesitate to pick up a book by these two authors. Their writing skills are such that they pull you into the book with ease and their attention to detail gives the story a realistic feel to it. The characters are relatable and bring the story to life on each page. This is a story that is engaging, fast paced and full of action. Mila wants to be the woman she was in the past on top of that she misses the man who was her first, Dane. As she decides that it is time to take her place beside him, he will not make it easy for her. She needs to find herself but will she before it is too late? Will she be the woman he needs her to be? I really fell for these characters and what they brought to the story. Their chemistry and attraction is awesome. They made the story fun and easy to read. I highly recommend this book and these authors.

This is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. We are taken on a wild ride that leaves you out of breath and on the edge of your seat. This book is full of passion and a dominant/submissive relationship. I love the danger and romance in these books.
In this book we meet Sheldon. He works for Chase Security and has never thought of taking a girlfriend. Sheldon is dominant and only a submissive will satisfy him. However most women don’t like the complete lifestyle so he only has one night with anyone. That is until he needs Alexis.

Sons of Sindicato is the first book in the Sons of Sindicato series by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus. If this book is anything to go by then this is going to be an amazing series. I had not read any previous work by these two authors so was unsure what to expect from Sons of Sindicato. This isn’t a full length novel, it’s a novella that introduces you to the players in the series and gives you the story of Seth and Shaw. I loved Seth and Shaw’s story. I was hooked from the very first chapter and was drawn further and further into the story as it progressed. It’s action packed from the very start and keeps you entertained and on edge throughout. If you like to read about feuding Mafia families then this is the book for you. It’s a trope that I really enjoy reading and I’m so glad that I chose to read this book. It really does set you up for what could be a very explosive series. I really can’t wait to read more from this series.

Sexy Drug is my first experience reading a Melody Calder book and I really enjoyed the story. I am anticipating the second book in the Losing My Heart series since this one left off on a cliffhanger and I now must know the remaining part of Katie and Ramone’s stories. This book is a story set in the midst of a cartel and how the main characters develop a friendship built on trust, in a world where trust can lead to death. Katie is the daughter of a ruthless drug lord and Ramone is one of the boss’s trusted men, assigned to protect Katie after it becomes clear someone is out to kill her. This story is fast paced with many questions still remaining to be answered, the main one being who will survive. I cannot wait for the next book to see where this story takes me.

This series keeps getting better and better with each book, I still need to go back and read the first three because I haven’t done that yet. I really liked Alexis and Sheldon’s relationship and really enjoyed reading their book, the chemistry between these two are almost instantaneous but both have scars from past relationships. The book pulled me in and I did read it all in one sitting. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is the 5th book in the series and it was great. It is the final book in the series and it didn’t disappoint. The twists & turns are crazy in this one and I didn’t see any of them coming. I loved the main characters, they made this story that much better & they kept me on my toes! Even though this is the last book I know I will definitely read more by this author. Happy Reading!

THE DEVOTED FAN (21st Century Courtesan Book 5) by Pamela DuMond
Oh my goodness. What a spectacular ending for this series, I truly fell like it couldn’t have ended any better or differently. I would find excuses to read when I should be doing other things like working because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. I had figured one part out but not all of it and holy cow was I surprised. I was a little sad when I finished it since I knew it was the end.
Evelyn deserves happiness and it won’t come easy for her. She has done so much good throughout the series and she finally gets some of that back.
I loved this book and hope to read more by Ms. DuMond in the future.

Romance novels, especially steamy ones, tend to be my least favorite genre. I steer away because so many plots are overly cheesy. I have read enough from Via Mari to know her writing checks off all the boxes and Elusive is no exception. Supsense, characters with depth, a storyline that you don’t want to put down. Via Mari knocked it out of the park again with the fifth book in her Billionaire Bodyguards series. 4 out of 5 stars and another installment to a series I definitely recommend!

Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 5) by Via Mari is one of my favourites. There is lots of explosive action and deadly suspense, danger, and secrets. I love the alpha hot and sexy men that go above and beyond to protect. They are sexy and charming, witty, and smouldering, dangerous and deadly.
Sheldon and the team have been assigned to protect Alexis when an extremely dangerous man sets his sight on her. It becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse because he will stop at nothing to get her and will go through anyone to get what he wants.
This is another hot and steamy read and a page turner from start to finish.

Twisted Secrets is the first book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops Series by Amy McKinley. This romantic suspense is a fast paced wild ride that I just couldn’t put down. The story is based in Hawaii and it just made me want to get away. Riley and Xander have great chemistry and witty dialogue. Amy McKinley is turning into one of my go to authors. I like shorter stories that grab you right from the start and this one does just that. I look forward to listening to the second book in this series.
I have listened to other books narrated by Regan Brown, but this is one of my favorites. Her voice is smooth and easy to listen to. She really brings the characters to life.

Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari Five Stars
Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. Via Mari is one of my go to authors and I have read most of her books. They just keep getting better and better. I love how each book focuses on a specific couple so the books can be read as standalones, but all the books are excellent reads and I highly recommend you read this series in order. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, with action, adventure, suspense and romance. It follows Sheldon and Alexis, as they meander through sex trafficking, being in danger, hot sizzling romance. This book was highly entertaining and a pleasure to read. This was a fantastic ending to an amazing series. You really should start this series from the beginning. It is so worth it! These books are addictive. With so many twists and turns, the author keeps you in suspense throughout. The story is dark and sexy yet full of hope and love. It was bittersweet reading this book. It was incredibly interesting but I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to fly through the book and at the same time savour every page. I enjoyed the journey of experiencing Evie’ sips and downs, her pain and love. I’m so happy with the way things ended. The author surpassed my expectations with this book. Thank you Ms. Dumond! All i can say about Sons of Sindicato is oh my gosh. Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus had this reader hooked from chapter one in this mafia book. Their character descriptions are beyond words, you almost feel that they are real people standing in front of you. I found the flow of this novel to be catchy and very graceful, so much so that I read the whole thing in one sitting. Every character is just as important as the next, and you will find yourself quickly falling in love with not only the two main characters but also the axillary characters. Personally I have never been one for mafia books but Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus have completely changed my perspective and I for one can’t wait to see what happens next.
