Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Erin Wolf

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander, 5 stars.

I have read all the books in the series, and this book exceeded my expectations for this, the next book. First, the main characters are wonderful. Neve, the man whose heart has hardened from precious experiences, vows never to love again. But he seems unable to resist the pull towards this woman who has been driving him crazy — and not in a good way. Then there is Enya, a very outspoken woman who has led a fairly boring life when it has come to men. But Neve shows her things wild and extremely enticing. And just may have taken her heart too.

Besides the attraction between Neve and Enya, there is also the mystery surrounding the adult amusement park they both work at, Spicetopia. If you have been reading the previous books (not necessary, but I highly recommend it), you will know how hard everyone has worked to make this park a reality. But someone seems to be sabotaging everything they have worked for. And Neve and Enya just may be caught in the middle. This storyline made the book so much better. Yes, the romance is great in itself, but the suspense pushed it right over the edge to spectacular.

This author has such a wonderful way with words and weaves a take of sex, romance, suspense and even some sadness, while creating such memorable characters in the process. Not a very long book, I finished it in one sitting. A book definitely meant for adults only, this is not a book for those who do not like to read about BDSM and such things. If this does not bother you, I highly recommend this book.

This is the third book in the Spicetopia series and I loved it. I think this is my favorite in the series so far! This author always puts out an awesome story and I never hesitate to pick up their new releases. I couldn’t put this one down and I devoured it in one setting. It was fast paced, and kept me engaged and entertained throughout its entirety. The main characters, Neve and Enya are great MC’s. They made me laugh and made me cry and I loved reading their story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this Book to a friend!

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1) by India Kells & Maddie Wade. What a great story! These two authors come together to give readers a story filled to the brim with action and romance. The characters are so well defined I could easily picture them in my mind, in fact the entire book is that way. I found myself completely drawn into this story world and read this in one sitting. I definitely had more than one instance where I found myself of the edge of my seat. I honestly can’t think of a better book to spend your evening with. Five huge stars and highly recommended. Can’t wait to see where these authors take us next because it’s bound to be incredible!

5-Stars

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3) by Phoebe Alexander was an exciting romantic read. It was steamy and invigorating. At times it was intense and others comical. Neve and Enya were magnificent characters and realistic. I loved how they were total opposites but found a way to work together. It was an excellent story following them. I felt that they really helped the storyline move along. The story seemed edited well and was easy to follow. It can be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend reading the first two books in the series. This novel was a wonderful addition. Main character Enya as now at a tie with Jolie in my heart as my favorite character. I can’t wait for what comes next!

Words can’t express how much I love this series and even Phoebe Alexander’s books. They are always so unique and not one story is the same!

I love how this book was fun and had great banter but also had drama and had this flair of intrigue! Spicetopia is being sabotaged right before its grand opening and Neve and Enya are thrust in the middle of it to try and settle the fires but they start burning one of their own!

Phoebe Alexander has a way of writing beautifully written books that are so unique and they never want to let you go!

I knew this was going to be a good new series and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s full of action and suspense and some romance as well. I got to see who was going to be on the new team. I like this new crew! Especially Caitlin and her K9’s. Not to mention all the Brits and their sexy accents.

These are not new authors to me. I enjoy each of their books Individually so writing together they are the BOMB! I also got a sneak peek of the next book and I KNEW IT! this one should be amazing as well with these two characters leading.

Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that will warm you up from the tip of your toes. This is number three is the Spicetopia series, they can be read as stand-alone, but I have read and enjoyed them as a series. All of the stories have been fast paced and filled with passion and drama, but this one has something extra in it as well, the whole opposites thing adds drama and the sabotage aspect just added another layer that kept you hooked. This theme park sounds amazing and somewhere I need to go more than another Land with rides.

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1)
By: India Kells and Maddie Wade
5 out of 5 stars

The story Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1) by India Kells and Maddie Wade is a romantic suspense book. It is a story that had me hooked from the very beginning and wondering what was going to happen next. The book has action, danger, and romance. I loved reading about the characters of Kingsley Knight and Sydney Rutherford. Kingsley is a former bomb tech who is starting a new life in the US as part of the Alliance Agency. He has been put in charge of their first case. Sydney is intelligent, independent, strong, and in need of someone to trust. Somehow, she realizes that Kingsley is the one she can trust. As the attraction between them gets stronger so does the danger that she is in. Will Kingsley be able to keep her safe from the evil that is chasing them? What does the future hold for Kingsley and Sydney? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about Sydney and Kingsley with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. This story has romantic scenes and also heartwarming ones as well. The book had my emotions going up and down all the way through. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that has wonderful characters. I highly recommend it.

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fire & Ice is the third instalment in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. Fire & Ice is my favourite of the series (so far). I know I say this with every book Phoebe Alexander releases, but I can’t help it, her books just seem to get better and better- as each new book slightly eclipses the one before it.
This is such an engrossing romantic suspense- with an enemies to lovers element to the story, as well as drama, action, mystery, intrigue, humour, spice, passion, BDSM, and erotic fun. The story has a few surprising developments thrown in to hold our interest. This was definitely one book I wasn’t putting down till I’d read every word.
This book follows Neve Romano and Enya Moore. Neve is ex-military and the new head of security at Spicetopia. He is the ‘strong-silent-type. A man of few words. Disciplined and controlled. Holding people at arm’s length, gives him a cold-as-steel facade. This makes him the complete opposite of Enya- a chatty, friendly ‘people-person’, (and at times fiery) redhead, who is perfect as the Director of Public Relations. Her personality grates him and makes him shake his head. She thinks he has a huge chip on his shoulder. They’re oil and water.
With the Grand Opening of Spicetopia fast approaching, someone is hell bent on Sabotaging the whole thing. Neve and Enya are thrown together to try to figure things out and get to the bottom of it all, before it’s too late. And things are about to heat up!!!
Another addictive addition to the Spicetopia series! Bring on book 4!

Thank you, Ms. Alexander!

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander. Not once has this author failed to leave me breathless with her stories. I’ve been not so patiently waiting for more in this incredible world that’s been created. These stories can definitely be read as stand-alone but I do highly recommend them all.
Neve and Enya are characters that you won’t soon be forgetting they couldn’t be anymore different but it so works in this story. They each bring something unique to the story. The suspense and action made for quite the adventure to be on with these two. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters are complex, relatable and truly draw you into their world. I’m so excited for more! Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fire & Ice was a great 5 star read and book 3 in the Spicetopia series.
Let’s just say that Fire & Ice describes these two characters to a tee.

Neve is head of security and Enya is the Director of PR for Spicetopia. They end up on a PR tour by themselves, when Cy has to return home unexpectedly. Neve doesn’t like to talk much and Enya is the complete opposite. She really annoys the crap out of Neve. They make it through the tour and return back to Spicetopia to discover that someone is trying to sabotage the park before it even opens.

During the staff only evening at the park lets just say that Neve and Enya have a very interesting encounter in the dungeon. Enya shares some interesting personal information with Neve and they discover they have some things in common. Just as things start to get even more steamy all heck breaks loose at the park.

WIll they find out who is behind the sabotage? Can these two actually have something between them?

There is so much more to the story from here. We get some crazy twists, mystery, suspense, etc. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see who was trying to sabotage everything. This is a great opposites attract read. I really liked Neve and Enya these two were exactly what they needed in their lives. Be warned that once you start you won’t want to stop until your done. This is my favorite in the series so far and I can’t wait to read more. 1-click and get started today.

Not a Good Death (Agents of Dart Series Book 2) by Naomi Bellina – Review by Maura Harper

Not a Good Death: Agents of Dart Series Book Two (Romantic Suspense)Not a Good Death: Agents of Dart Series Book Two by Naomi Bellina
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

NOT A GOOD DEATH is book 2 in the “Agents of Death” series. I did not read book 1 and will admit to going back to read a few of those “let me recap the entire story instead of actually reviewing the book” reviews to make sure I knew what was going on as I cracked the binding on this one. I really think if I hadn’t done that, I would have been lost.

I rated this book a 3.5* because I found the story frustrating at times. The main protagonists are well educated and trained to work well under pressure and yet they were both just a little too whiny and unprofessional for me to actually embrace them. Their bickering was NOT cute.

The story is told from multiple points of view in different locations which kept the pace of the story moving. This is a romantic suspense and it took a while to build up to the how/what/who/why of the suspense part. Once I was able to understand it all, the story flew and took twists and turns that kept me interested in the plot. This is a story that I did skim so I could get to the end and see how everything resolved itself.

While the story line is quick, the writing is very detailed and it is obvious that the author puts a lot of hard work into her craft. I always admire a writer who is able to follow a thought through and actually publish a book.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Not a Good Death is the second book in the Agents of DART series by Naomi Bellina. This is my first read from Ms. Bellina and after reading this very intriguing romantic suspense, it certainly won’t be my last. How have I not discovered her books before now? All this time I could have been exploring her work- something I plan to remedy very soon. This story can be read as a standalone, without feeling like you are missing anything. But the characters have intrigued me enough to want to go back and see where it all began, by reading book #1.
Lily Blume and Dillon Hurst are partners in life, and also newly appointed partners at their work. They have been assigned their first official mission for DART (Damage Avert and Rescue Team- a specialized division of the FBI). Lily has been a DART Agent for five years, but Dillon has only just joined the team, having been a soldier previously he completed the training in record time. Now they just need to prove that they can work well together in the field.
Their mission tests their skills, and their unity- especially when things don’t go quite to plan. With murder, danger, drama, chemistry, suspense, mystery, tension, and intrigue- this book has all the ingredients required to make it a captivating read. I wonder what adventures await in the next book/s.
Intriguing!

Thank you, Ms. Bellina!

I thought Phoebe Alexander couldn’t make this series any better, that was until I read Book #3. Fire & Ice is fast-paced, captivating read that you can’t help but read it in one sitting as you get so invested in the story and the characters that you can’t put it down. This read has romance, steaminess and mystery and made it impossible to put down. I loved Neve & Enya’s characters they were quite different but boy did they have some great chemistry, but can they work together to find out who is sabotaging the grand open? I highly recommend this read and all the rest of the books in this series, but ultimately Phoebe Alexander is an author that should never be missed!

Fire & Ice is book 3 in the Spicetopia Series. Each book gets better and better. I absolutely love this series. These books should be read in order but do not leave you with cliffhangers. I have grown to love Phoebe Alexander’s book style so I get excited when I see she has a new book out.
In fire & Ice there are a few of the same characters but a few new ones as well. Of course Cy and Jolie are back and ready to open up this new adult park they have been working on.
Neve and Enya both work for Cy as the head of security and the PR rep. They have a love / hate relationship. Neve seems to have a personality of a wet mop and Enya is a bubbly happy person who likes to talk. While on tour trying to promote the new park, something happens between Neve and Enya.

When they have a test run at the park for the employees, those two seem to have a little fun together and realize they have a bit more in common then they think. Neve has a past and dark secrets he shares with no one and Enya is out of my his closed off vibes he puts out.
Someone has hacked into the parks technology and us out to destroy it before it opens. Cy and Neve have to go to the mainland to meet with a reporter about the things that have happened but, it doesn’t go as planned. Both Enya and Neve have to be smart about things to save their lives and get away from whoever is holding them hostage.

I was shocked by the turn of events in this book and loved the suspense. This book gave you everything you need for a great read. Cannot wait for book 4.

Fire & Ice is the third book in the Spicetopia series and each book just gets better and better! I highly recommend reading this series in order. In this book, we get the story of Enya and Neve, and they might be my favorite couple yet! The Spicetopia theme park is finally coming to completion and things are really ramping up! It is Enya’s job to promote the park and Neve’s job to keep everyone safe. But someone has plans to keep them both from doing that! This installment is full of action and suspense that keeps you guessing what is going to happen next and who could be behind it all! We also get a good look at some of the park’s attractions and let me tell you….I want to know if this place is a real thing yet and how do I get an invite??? Because this should definitely be a thing!

Phoebe Alexander knocks it out of the “park” once again! I am so glad there is more to this series because I have fallen in love with these characters and this story line! Looking forward to book 4 and where it will take me next!

Just a bit different in a couple ways…This one was full of suspense, just a few heavy sex scenes, and what I like to call a couple that doesnt share LOL Add all of this up and for me this is my favorite so far. I loved the first two as well but this one was amazing!!

I LOVED Neve and Enya, their interaction was everything I love in characters. She just cracked me up and even when the danger kicked in, her strength and will during that was awesome. I loved Neve’s inner dialogue, especially when Enya wouldn’t give up and kept on and on.

I truly love this series, and am so so excited to still be following Cy & Jolie’s ongoing story and can not wait for what is on tap for the next book..this is written in true Phoebe fashion…you just really don’t know what might happen or who it might happen to or with.

Highly recommend starting at the beginning…for me this is not a standalone and you will be so thankful you did!

As Always..Another out of this world book from one of my favorite authors ever!!

Knight Watch is the first exciting novel in the Alliance Agency series by Maddie Wade and India Kells. These ladies are (individually) two of my favourite authors, so when they team up to write a book I know I just have to read whatever they produce!!
Because I love these authors so much, I did have a lot of expectation for this book- now I am happy to say that the authors exceeded all my expectations for this story, delivering far more than I had hoped for…. From the gorgeous cover, to the superb writing, and all the intense action-packed and gripping storyline, and wonderful characters- this book has it all!!!
This is a romantic suspense- with action, adventure, emotion, danger, secrets, thrills, intrigue, mystery, drama, intense chemistry, tension, twists, surprising developments, and more. The authors elevated the tension and suspense and held it throughout the book- this definitely left me on the edge of my seat, keeping me guessing, and had me flipping pages to find out what happened. The brilliant twists and surprising developments added to the gripping nature of the story.
As I have said previously, the authors styles complement one another, as I couldn’t tell which parts were written by whom. The story was polished and really well crafted, and is a testament to the authors writing skills and compatibility.
I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the series!
Brilliant!!!

I am absolutely in love with this series already. I was sucked into this story from the beginning and through laughs and lots of tears, i made it to the end loving this so much.
Shane is hurting and I could feel the guilt and sadness coming through the pages as I read and then add in Emme and it was all over the feelings meter for me.
Emme, so strong and courageous and just wanting to be seen to be an equal.
The emotions, the heartbreak and the downright sad in this book was felt so strongly. I highly recommend this book and will now be going back to read both of these series from the beginning as i haven’t had the pleasure yet.

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander. This is the 3rd book in the series and one of my favorites! Its the story of someone trying to derail the grand opening of Spicetopia an adult themed park. Neve Romano is the Director of Security and on a Press Circuit with Enya Moore Director of Public Relations. They have never really gotten along but during this press junket they are thrown to rely on each other because someone is out to sabotage them and will stop at nothing. Neve is quiet and not much of a people person and Enya is a talker and seems to never stop. The heat between them picks up as they realize they are the only two people that can save each other. This series is so good and you could probably read this as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the first 2 books to get the whole background. You won’t be disappointed!

Fire & Ice is the third book in the series, and I would recommend that you read the other two before reading this one just to have the full enjoyment. It is possible to read them as stand alone novels if you should choose to do so however. This has to be my favorite so far of the series, but I say that lightly because I am super excited for the next book, Naughty & Nice so I can see that eclipsing this love. I am sure either way I will love it as much as these others.

I loved the premise in Fire & Ice, it has a bit of differences that kept me a tad more engaged in the story than before. I loved the added suspense and drama that made me hanging on to the last page to find out what would come next. Neve and Enya steal the show as they navigate each other and Spicetopia. Neither have any idea what the future will hold in store for them but handle it perfectly. I adore these two and the way the played off each other. Neve is not your outgoing type and prefers to be a man of little words. Enya on the other hand loves her voice and her life and it shows in her vibrant and chatty character. When the two are forced to work together the sparks between fire and ice are indescribable. Bring on Naughty & Nice!

The story Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander is a book that is entertaining, steamy, and I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I read the last page. There is sabotage being directed at Spicetopia. Will the culprit be caught? Read this book to find out. I loved reading about Neve and Enya. These two don’t always see eye to eye. Is their bantering showing that there is an attraction between them? What does the future hold for Neve, Enya, and Spicetopia? This story has some very steamy romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. There are additional characters that interact with Neve and Enya. Most of them are helpful. Then there are those with their own agenda and will do anything to make their plans succeed. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has great characters. I highly recommend it.

I really don’t know how each book can be so different but so good! Adult-only theme park? Yes please! BDSM, swingers, and danger oh my! And the sexy time was oh so hot!

I love the characters in this series, each one has a story. Each story is developed just enough for the reader to keep turning the pages! Sometimes characters resonate with the reader and sometimes it’s the words that are written. Every reader is bound to find something with Alexander’s stories.

Start by reading the first in this series so you can love all the characters, all the mischief, all the fun Alexander has to offer. This series is not for readers under 18, not for readers with closed minds. I think Enya said it best: “I didn’t think it was the right thing for me. Not that I blamed anyone else for enjoying it…”

Take a chance and enjoy!

“Can’t a big guy have interests and scholarly pursuits?”

FIRE & ICE is the 3rd book in the “Spicetopia” series and as long as you know that Spicetopia is an adult theme park (“and by adults, I mean ADULTS”), you should be able to follow along with no problem. Each book in the series surrounds a different couple and each story is fully actualized and doesn’t heavily rely on the previous story (well until it does, but at that point you should be familiar with the whose who of the theme park).

Book 3 stars Neve and Enya, they are as opposite as – well fire and ice. He is “The Iceman” and she is fiery. That’s how it looks on the outside anyway. While Neve “wasn’t a partier and didn’t really like people” he is more than willing to do his job and keep his people safe. Enya is the Director of PR, is half Neve’s size and talks as much as he is silent. They are both huge assets to business.

The banter and comedic dynamic that this couple exhibits was fun to read. This book is full of action and suspense and there is a sense of togetherness that just naturally seems to come to the H and h. There were times that I just wasn’t sure were the next turn of events would lead us. There was never a dull moment and the story turned pages on its own.

As with all of this author’s books, this was a fast and satisfying read which I absolutely recommend.

side note: There is a paragraph that contains a discussion about the male lead’s name. I went to the internet to see if I was pronouncing it right and went down a rabbit hole of videos showing how to pronounce MY OWN NAME. Trust me, don’t do it, just trust that you are pronouncing everything correctly… hahaha

ENJOY!!!!

I was so stinking excited to get my hands on this book by two of my favorite go-to authors when it comes to romance with some excitement and sizzle. I was really hoping this book was everything I had hoped it would be and even more excited to report that is soared beyond my expectations even. Wade and Kells have similar writing styles and it is evident that they compliment each other with the ebb and flow of this story. Even better, there will be more of these books to come!

Deadly Alliance is the prequel to An Alliance Agency series from these two and I can tell that things are going to be one heck of a ride along the way. In Deadly Alliance we are introduced to Shane Rhodes and Emme Wallace, two agents from two separate teams who suddenly find themselves working very much on the same team. These two pose as a married couple whilst under cover investigating a serial killer. As the body count rises the need to figure out this case becomes more and more dire. I loved the way these two characters worked together. They made things light and airy where needed and got down to business the other times. I found myself rooting and cheering at these two as if I was watching my favorite football team edge a win. My only sadness came with the end of the book, but like I said there is more to come and I am in line for that right away!

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1) by Maddie Wade & India Kells – Review by Kerry Baker

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel #1)Knight Watch by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Knight Watch by Maddie Wade and India Kells is the first book in Alliance Agency series. This is a brilliant start to a new series by two authors that are absolutely fantastic.
This book is definitely action packed. The whole thing is such a whirlwind of a journey. It feels like you take everything single step with these characters, especially Sydney.
These authors have managed to combine their writing styles so successfully that for me you really couldn’t tell them apart. They worked so well together and have created a story that really is a must read. Having read this book and the prequel I cannot wait to see what else is to come.

Not a Good Death (Agents of Dart Series Book 2) by Naomi Bellina – Review by Heather Lovelace

Not a Good Death: Agents of Dart Series Book Two (Romantic Suspense)Not a Good Death: Agents of Dart Series Book Two by Naomi Bellina
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love a good suspense and this book had me enraptured quickly. I haven’t read anything from this author before and was very glad to have had this book find its way into my hands. Suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Snappy dialogue. Intriguing plot development. Relatable characters. All worthy qualities of a permanent addition to my personal library. Really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
