Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover NovelDeadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read both of these authors before and liked them when they wrote books alone. For me when both these authors were on Deadly Alliance I jumped at the chance to read them both with one story. There are two agencies Fortis and Purgatory who offer covert services with their highly qualified operatives. Shane Rhodes is one of the operatives. He is a former Navy Seal who has had a lot of tragedies in his past, but he takes the murder of his best friend’s little sister personally. Emme is young but is working with Shane. They both are looking for revenge. Will there be barriers to keep them at bay? Will Shane’s and Emme’s skills be able to take out the threat? I highly recommend this story.

Hope by Seelie Kay is the fourth book in the Feisty Lawyers series.

I loved seeing Hope all grown up. She has been trained for the agency and so ready to conquer the world but gets slapped by her past and it wasn’t pretty.

I liked this book and the ending has me wondering what’s going to happen next. I did feel like something was missing, but can’t quite figure out what it is. I’m hoping that I find it in the next book.

I continue to thoroughly enjoy the collaboration between Kells and Wade. This latest series is jam packed with action, suspense, and romance, hitting all three in just the right amounts. This page turner is immediately engaging and drew me right in to the story. I couldn’t read it fast enough and didn’t dare put it down before finishing the last page. Excellent book from these two fantastic authors. I cannot wait to see how the series continues.

Fire and Ice by Phoebe Alexander is the third book in the Spicetopia series. Each book can be read as as standalone as they are all about a different couple.
These books are so hot and steamy and yet have such great characters and story development. This one definitely has to be my favourite of the series so far. I loved how different the two characters were from each other and yet at the same time I could see such similarities.
The chemistry between them was off the charts as well. The whole way through you could feel it every time they were together.
This is a brilliant series and I really cannot wait to see what else is to come.

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4)Hope by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hope was a thrilling 5 star read and book four in the Feisty Lawyers series.
Once I started I couldn’t put it down.

Hope has had special training and uses the training to help others. She has joined the Agency which is her dream job. Helping others is something she has always wanted to do. When things take a dangerous twist, Hope finds herself in danger.

Overall I really enjoyed this read. Hope is a strong character that I really liked, I was pulled right into her story. We get action, drama, suspense and so much more. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I suggest that you read the other books in the series first before this one. Seelie Kay has done a great job with her writing you feel like you are right there with Hope. If you’re looking for a great series, 1-click and get started today.

HopeHope by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

HOPE is the 4th book in “The Feisty Lawyers Series” and this story can absolutely be read as a stand-alone with no problem. I do recommend reading in order if you can because there are threads and layers that tie all of the books together which make for very rich reading.

As with all of the books in this series, there is action and adventure and suspense. This is a shorter story and can be read in one sitting. It moves quickly and there aren’t any wasted words or scenes used as filler.

This is a series, an author and a book I absolutely recommend.

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4)Hope by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hope is the fourth book in Seelie Kay’s Feisty Lawyers’ series that keeps taking us on a rollercoaster ride from the first chapter! I guess you could read it as a standalone but I sincerely suggest you start from the beginning as all the main cast has been there from the beginning so you want to know how we came to where we are!
This is Hope’s story as the title gives away and finally she has achieved her dream and she is part of Agency and she is ready to show the all that she has got what is needed so she heads for her first assignment-mission … unfortunately it doesn’t work out as she expected and Hope is left broken and fighting for her life and the uncertainty is overwhelming …
The writer is as good as ever, she gives us a story that is filled with action, emotion, danger, drama and all of our old friends and enemies and she is giving it to us in a such complex way that at times you are not sure what to expect next! I know that I cannot wait to see what happens next as she has set a stage for something insanely thrilling!

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4)Hope by Seelie Kay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4) by Seelie Kay, 4 stars.

If you have read the previous books, you have met a younger Hope. I really like the progression of this character. She is a bit overconfident, but not a snob about it. She just hates to fail. The other characters in this series are back too, and they are just as great as you expect. The are real people, not just background placement.

The story is wonderful too. While we have have read about the different relationships and people of this secret group (if you have been following the series), the author yet again makes this one different from the others, showing us Hope in training and putting her in a situation different than we’ve seen before. There is much going on here for a shorter book, you will not be able to put it down.

The fourth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone, but you will experience more if you read them all. This book has it all — sex, action, humor, the importance of family, and the adage to save those needing saving.

By: Seelie Kay
5 out of 5 stars

I really enjoyed reading Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4) by Seelie Kay. It is a story that is suspenseful and had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. While the story may be a bit shorter than some books, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t powerful. I loved reading about the character of Hope Ali. She is a young woman who is intelligent, independent, and stubborn. Read this book to find out what happens when a mission goes off track. The story has action, danger, and a wonderful storyline. I couldn’t bring myself to put it down and I finished it all in one sitting. I am truly enjoying reading this series and about the characters that are in each one. I would recommend reading this series in order as characters are brought forward into the next book from previous ones. Don’t miss out on a fast-paced journey that is unforgettable. I highly recommend reading it.

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel #1)Knight Watch by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Knight Watch (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 1) by Maddie Wade & India Kells is a spin off from their other series and as soon as I see either of their names anywhere near a book then I know I have to have it. My girls never let me down. I have not read anything from these two that I have not loved. There is lots of suspense and danger, angst and sadness, amazing sparks and chemistry and above comradery. There is a lot of emotions to go through with this story and one was a deep sadness at the pain and suffering from our main character but with the help of a dark and sexy man and the Alliance Agency she may just come out the other side. All of the people related to the Agency are wonderful and funny, the banter just cracked me up laughing, but cross them and watch out. Find them sexy and hang on, ooooh la la.

Kingsley and his team on looking for a kidnapped woman and all it takes is one look for him to be slightly smitten. If only he could find her. It seems the one who wanted her found has an ulterior motive and he is definitely not what he seems. What they discover is evil incarnate and a whole twisted world.

Sydney has had so much loss and tragedy one top of one of the most horrendous ordeals in her life that has left her fighting to stay out of the dark deep hole. When she gets kidnapped she finally finds out some home truths about the person behind all her terror and sadness. So when a man with a sexy British accent comes to her rescue she doesn’t know who to trust.

This story is really well written as you come to expect from Maddie and India and I love the way characters from the other series cross over. Explosive read, yes so you will kick yourself if you don’t get it today. I am anxiously awaiting more from these two, the dynamic duo.

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fire & Ice (Spicetopia Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander is probably my favourite in the series. It is suspenseful, intriguing and mysterious story that is also fun and I love the banter of the main characters. It is also sexy and steamy and a great continuation of this excellent series. This is a little different from the first two but I loved it. Phoebe has created a world where all our pleasures will come true, a world where anything goes, a world for the rich and famous set on a tropical island which really makes it a hardship to read. Not. It is a quick read but it has a lot going on which keeps you glued to the pages wanting to know who is after them.

Neve is the head security guy for the new Spicetopia and is on a press circuit with the head of media, Enya. Unfortunately she is a pain in his neck. He is a man of few words and a huge chip on his shoulder but it seems nothing can get through to him. That is until they disappear but will anyone be able to find them?

Enya loves to talk, it is her job after all but Neve is a hard nut to crack. When things go wrong and they are both in danger, suddenly she sees him in a completely different light. I fell in love with Neve and Enya’s and their thoughts and way with each other had me laughing, they are truly delightful.

I am anxiously awaiting the next book. A great read to get lost in to unwind.

Opposites attract and sparks fly in this latest novella from Alexander in the Spicetopia series. Intended for mature readers, this is not meant for younger eyes. Take the caution seriously folks. Alexander pulls no punches when it comes to passion and what that looks like to different people. She also has an uncanny ability to dial in to relatable characters that speak to you whether they could be you or not. Another page turner that you will not put down easily. Fire & Ice (Spicetopia #3)Fire & Ice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fire & Ice is the third installment in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. I have read the previous two books in the series and while each book can technically be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading them in the proper order so you get the full context and implications of each story. In this particular book we are introduced to Enya and Neve, who are pretty much polar opposites. He is former military and head of security, which means he is a man of very few words. His life has taught him that having a cold heart and steel exterior will prevent people from getting too close to him. Enya is the head of public relations. She is a red headed spitfire who makes her living talking to people. She is always chattering away being all bubbly and cheerful, and her personality makes Neve cringe. The Spicetopia adult theme park is set to make its grand opening soon and some unknown force is doing the best they can to sabotage their special night. Ironically Neve and Enya are thrown together, with the help of their friends to try and get to the bottom and identify the one who is planning such mayhem. This story had more dangerous-like action than the previous two books did, however it had just as many steamy scenes and a lot of humor. I think this is my favorite of this series thus far. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book!

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4) by Seelie Kay. Once again this author pulls me in so deep I couldn’t put this book until I’d finished. I do highly recommend reading these in order. This author just has this amazing way of finding the perfect mix between action, suspense and romance. Hope is quite the amazing character, there were times when I was wishing I had her as a friend. She’s relatable and you can’t help but root for her from the sidelines. This series seriously just keeps getting better, kept me on the edge of my seat. This might be my favorite one yet but I feel like I’ve said that before so just take that to mean they are all amazing! It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I found myself completely lost in its pages, and hoping it wouldn’t end. I’m excited to see where the author takes readers next! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Hope by Seelie Kay is the fourth book in the Feisty Lawyers series. Hope can be a name or something someone believes in. In this book, Hope is a remarkable woman who has gone through special training in order to help those who can’t help themselves. Since this is the fourth book in the series there are some parts better understood after having read the other books but I believe this can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone book. I really enjoyed Hope’s story and tore through it in one sitting. This is a short book and you won’t want to put it down. There is action, intrigue, and some romance. I really enjoyed this escape from the everyday.

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Book 4) by Seelie Kay is another wonderful continuation of this series that just keeps getting better and better. It is a quick and easy read but in true Seelie fashion, it is full of danger and action, suspense and adventure and not to mention a little heart breaking at one point. I love reading Seelie’s tales as she very cleverly pulls all the threads together to make on explosive experience for the reader. The characters are just brilliant and often make me laugh for this unlikely fit of people who have become a family. I won’t share too much as you have to experience it by yourself.

Hope has finally achieved her dream job, now all she has to do is show them she has what it takes on her first mission. Unfortunately the odds are stacked against her and what happens next leaves her broken and fighting for her life. But with the friends and family around her will she be able to fight her way back?

Another book that is a must read. I can’t wait for more from Seelie.

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Series Book 4) by Seelie Kay – Review by Angela Hayes

HopeHope by Seelie Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hope is the superb fourth instalment in the Feisty Lawyers Series by Seelie Kay.
This is a shorter story, which makes for a very quick and easy read. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the other books before starting on this one as there are some interconnected elements and characters. I didn’t expect to like this book as much as I have- and I certainly didn’t expect for it to become my favourite of the series, so far. I loved the first three books, but this one blew me away, and is definitely my favourite, so far!
We have met Hope previously, and it was really wonderful to catch up with what has been going on in her life- and then follow her through the story. There were moments where my heart was in my mouth, and I really felt for her so much. Seelie Kay certainly put her through the wringer- and I was rooting for Hope to overcome it all… and win out in the end. The character growth and development was just superb.
The story is so intriguing- with action, adventure, emotion, suspense, danger, drama, and Hope. The book had me on the edge of my seat in suspense at times, and had me avidly reading along to discover just how everything would play out.
This is quite a clever, complex, and well developed storyline- there’s a lot going on in it, in a great way. And in true Seelie Kay fashion, it packs quite a punch!
I say this with each addition to the series, but this series would make a fantastic Television show.
This book makes me even more intrigued about what Seelie Kay has planned for the rest of the series- and where we go from here. I can’t wait to see what awaits us in future instalments!

Thank you, Ms. Kay!

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover NovelDeadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Deadly Alliance is a crossover novel between India Kells Purgatory series and Maddie Wade’s Fortis series. It is a prequel novel bringing together these 2 amazing group to form a new alliance. I am a huge fan of both India Kells’ Purgatory series and Maddie Wade’s Fortis series, so when I discovered that they were working together to create a crossover, to say I was excited, is a bit of an understatement. There is no way that anything they would work on together would be anything less than amazing and I was so right. I loved this book so much and can’t wait to read more of this series.
In this book, the 2 teams have got together to find a serial killer who has been killing female members of the military in both the US and UK. One of those killed was the sister of former Navy SEAL Shane Rhodes’ best friend. Now working for Purgatory, Shane is determined to catch the killer. The plan is to work undercover with Emme Wallace, a Fortis agent, pretending to be a married couple to bring the killer out. Needless to say Shane and Emme didn’t see eye to eye on anything, which only got worse as both started to fight growing feelings towards each other.
This book is very fast paced, has fantastic characters and an amazing storyline that grabs you straight away and takes you on a roller coaster journey filled with mystery, suspense, danger and heart break. I was pulled right into the story and couldn’t put it down, devouring the whole book in one sitting. If this prequel is anything to go by then this is going to be an epic series which I will read over and over.

I love this series so so much, and since they are all quick short reads I can’t wait to go back and read them all back to back.

This author’s stories just flow so smooth and are always full of content without the wordy fluff thrown in. I can always expect action and edge of my seat reading and I love that.

Hope was simply awesome. She was tough as nails in a small package and was living her dream of being part of the agency, a group of lawyers that were all about setting things right in the world even if it meant making it happen when the law couldn’t. Hope was a genuine Bada** and seemed to beat any challenge sent her way, until her past creeps up on her and her first real assignment doesn’t go as planned.

I love how all the characters weave in and out of these stories and this one left me more than curious about what is to come.

Loved it, I would recommend reading them all in order just to get the full benefit of all of who you are reading about.

Hope is the fourth book in the Feisty Lawyers series. There are characters and situations from the previous books mentioned in this story, so it would be a good idea to read the other books first.

Out of all of the books I’ve read in this series, this one is my favorite in regard to writing style. It flowed nicely and it kept a consistent pace for the most part. The first part of the book focuses more on Hope’s development as an agent, whereas the latter part of the book focuses on her in the field. I think the one part that I didn’t care for so much was the catty way the women came across in the Epilogue. The way the story is left it seems like the series might be taking on a new dimension. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

Hope (Feisty Lawyers Series Book 4) by Seelie Kay. I have loved this series. I suggest you read them from Book 1 just to get a basis for the stories. I love Seelie Kay so when I see her name I usually can’t wait to read it. This book was no exception. Once you start this book you won’t want to put it down. Its the story of Hope Ali who with her father came to the US seeking Asylum. They settled down in a small Wisconsin town hiding from those after them. She excelled in school and finished Law school by the time she was 21. After college she joined the Agency which is an elite group of attorneys who go undercover to right wrongs the law won’t take care of. Its a dangerous job but its Ali’s dream job. The only problem with this dream job is someone wants her to lose hope and they will stop at nothing to succeed. This book will keep you in the edge of your seat.

I recommend this book to all who love action and romance within the same book. Please read the first 3 books in this series. They flow so nicely together.

Hope Ali and her father came to the U.S. seeking asylum, at the young age of 16. She was determined to get an education as well as college done. By the age of 21 she had completed school and had joined the Agency. Training was tough, but she completed it. I found her to be so incredibly strong. Hope is amazingly smart and can hold her calm, when faced with danger. This all I will tell you. You need to read it to believe it.

Seelie Kay has done it again. This her 4th book in the series, was absolutely packed with action. Her book will suck you in on page one, and keep you there until you turn the last page. Her characters will have you dawned into her story. I like to read the series all at once. Seelie Kay has written one of those series you will want to read over and over again. Nicely done Seelie Kay. I look forward to seeing what you write next.
