Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter Book 2) by Manda Mellett – Review by Shannon Fowler

Demon's Angel: Satan's Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love this club and this group of characters. Love this author and how she writes. Action packed, violent, sexy, twisted. Just a few of my favorite things!

The characters and story line follows the first book in this Colorado Series and should be read in order. There are many characters, some are minor and only play minor parts in this story, but have the possibility of becoming more.

Vi and Demon are friends thanks to Vi’s brother Nathan. But without Nathan is there something
more? Demon’s first big test as Prez brings about many changes. Vi also has to face some changes. And the twists that come about with Theo and Demon oh my!

“It really doesn’t matter what his parentage is, it’s all down to how we raise him.”

I wish all people could take this to heart. Life is tough enough.

Definitely recommend this book and this series!

SECRETS NEVER DIE by Laurie Lewis – Review by Michelle King

Secrets Never DieSecrets Never Die by Laurie L.C. Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Laurie Lewis has written a masterpiece of suspense and intrigue that keeps you glued to the pages from beginning to end! It keeps your mind spinning with guesses of what is going to happen next and how everything will eventually piece together. It is a complicated plot that will have you a bit frustrated at times because you will want to solve the mystery so badly! I kept wanting to skip to the end and find out how it all works out! But every page is definitely worth the read!

Tallie Brown was raised by a mother who never showed her much love. Or she did in her own way, by raising Tallie to be smart, always aware of her surroundings, and cautious of everyone. They moved around constantly with no explanation until they finally settled in a park ranger station for the past seven years. When Tallie’s mom suddenly dies, Tallie finds secrets hidden within her mother’s belongings that lead her on a dangerous journey to find out her true past. She ends up in a small coal town in West Virginia (the state I live in so this made the story that much more intriguing to me!) where she finds resistance from the towners and where she meets Jackson, a journalist who is also an outsider in town looking for information of his own.

When Tallie and Jackson’s paths cross, they are wary of each other at first but determine they could both use a friend and decide to team up and help each find the information they are looking for. The result is a journey of twists and turns that will keep you up all night in anticipation of what will be revealed next! Five stars from me for Secrets Never Die! So dive in and plan for a sleepless night!

Ailey of Skye by Wendy Hewlett – Review by Michelle Austin

Ailey of SkyeAiley of Skye by Wendy Hewlett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ailey of Skye was a great 5 star read.

Aileen is traveling to Scotland, her grandmother left her money and her house. Aileen is looking to get away for awhile and possibly sell the house. Although, when she shows up at the house she is surprised to see a man already living there. When she finds out who the man is she is shocked, and that’s not the only shocking news that she will get.

Aileen is a recovering addict and has had a not so great experience in life. As she learns more about her family, she is going through many different emotions. As the story moves forward we find out that danger lurks in the shadows. Why did her father make the choices he did?

Can Aileen get past the demons and dangers and finally get the life she truly deserves?
Can her family keep her safe?

There is so much more to this read. All of the characters were great. My emotions were all over the place, I had some teary eyed moments. There are some scenes that could be sensitive for some. Wendy does a great job with her writing and you can’t wait to see what’s coming next. The Scottish language in the book made me think of The Outlander. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

Devil's Due: Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #3Devil’s Due: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #3 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Satan’s Devils MC: Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett is quickly becoming my new obsession. Each book is written with such a passion for these characters that shines off your kindle screen and seeps into your subconscious. I find myself thinking about the characters during my everyday life and honestly, that is what any avid read strives to find. A set of books that will seep into every pore and make you feel all the feels. I would highly recommend that one reads these books in order and completes the original Satan’s Devils series as well. It builds into a perfect crescendo that Manda Mellett seems to have a knack for.

I am not going to divulge much about Devil’s Due. This latest book, the third in the Colorado Chapter, is one you won’t want to miss. Especially if you have been following the MC gang for awhile. The camaraderie amongst the boys and their SO’s they wind up with is something anyone searches for their whole life and yet can’t ever find it. It renews my faith in the idea of love and valor. I often feel as if these MC stories from Manda Mellett are a whole new twist to the idea of modern day fairytales. I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on book four! Fingers crossed I am on the right page with who I believe we will get the story of next!

Ailey of SkyeAiley of Skye by Wendy Hewlett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ailey of Skye by Wendy Hewlett grabbed my heart and twisted relentlessly. My heart exploded with hurt and sadness for Ailey and everything she experienced and survived in her short twenty three years. I suppose I should be happy she was able to make it through but good grief she was dealt a bad hand and it only continued to get worse for a long time.

Ailey is a hero, she took her second chance and did amazing things while only thinking of others, no matter the consequences for her. I absolutely loved this book, but there were parts that were very difficult for me to read and I had to walk away for a bit.

This is my first time reading anything by Ms. Hewlett and I have to say I’m throughly impressed and plan on reading her other books just as soon as possible.

This story is Violet’s and Demon’s story. Violet is trying her best with the hand she has been dealt, but she is in trouble. She is struggling with finding a good option. I do like Violet has a character.Violet experiences the trauma of a sexual assault so certain parts may be difficult for some readers.
The experiences she has endured has not made her bitter. She is taking care of so many others that she becomes used to being the source of answers. Demon comes in to help her and provides hope. However, he is adjusting to his position, and he is learning to navigate on what it means to lead. Overall, I enjoyed this story.

Demon’s Angel is the second installment in author Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) series. And boy was it good!!!
When Demon sees Violet for the first time in many years he is surprised to see a full grown woman who just so happens to be a single mother and not just his best friend Nathan’s little sister. Not having his friend anymore Demon promises that he will do whatever it takes to protect Violet and become her stand-in big brother. What Demon doesn’t bargain on are the feelings he possess toward this woman who makes him feel things that aren’t very brotherly!
I really enjoyed this book, I liked the connection between Demon and Violet and I really enjoyed their interactions with the club. I enjoyed the storyline and the war between the factions and I cannot wait to see what is coming next!

Devil's Dilemma (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4)Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Dilemma is the 4th book in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) by Manda Mellett. With each book I read in this series I then say that they are my favourite. This is because Manda Mellett is just getting better and better. This book was no different in that it has now become my favourite. I don’t know how Manda Mellett does it but she just keeps giving us fantastic characters and amazing storylines.
In this book we are given the story of Pyro and Melissa. We met Melissa in book 3 as the girlfriend of Skull. When Skull goes missing, Pyro steps in to be the shoulder for Melissa to cry on. His feelings for her getting stronger by the day but knowing he can’t act on them as she’s been claimed by Skull.
As with all the other Satan’s Devils book, the author pulls you in from the very start, takes you on a rollercoaster journey, and stamps on your heart leaving you totally overcome at what you’ve just gone through.
This story has everything, So much emotion, heartbreak, love, betrayal etc. There are many happy, light hearted moments and then you are sobbing like a baby in the heartbreaking moments. Tissues are definitely advised.
I had read somewhere that the author planned to stop at book 4 and was gutted as there are still so many awesome single guys in the MC who need their stories to be told. However, I was ecstatic to read at the end of this book that there will be a book 5 coming soon.
Keep them coming Manda Mellett, this series is awesome!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series. It can be read as a standalone, although this story does mention events from previous books.

Just from the synopsis, I was pretty sure I knew how this story was going to go. I WAS RIGHT! I have to say that this story is expertly told. Even though I already had an idea of how it would play out, it still kept me hooked all the way to the end.

Be prepared to be pissed at a certain character. I won’t name names because I don’t want to ruin it. I wanted to reach through the pages and slap a person! I mean, how low can you go??? I felt so bad for Melissa. What she ended up going through nearly tore my heart out. I did appreciate her backbone when she was finally able to have her confrontation of closure.

Superb storytelling, as always.

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett was an excellent addition to this series. It can be read as a standalone and includes characters from the earlier books. I lived the flow of this story and absolutely loved the characters. The plot twists were totally unexpected and made the story even more exciting. This book is definitely my favorite of this series! The characters had excellent development and were detailed enough to easily visualize. If you have not read a motorcycle club series before than I highly recommend this author. She really brings her books to life and allows the reader to relate to the characters. They are all very realistic. I loved this book and I highly recommend it!

5 out of 5 stars

This isn’t the first book that I have read by Ms. Mellett and I have to say her work gets better with every book that I have read, Demon’s Angel in the second book in the Colorado Chapter of Satan’s Devils MC. The characters are strong and well written, and the plot was great it had me reading this book in one sitting.

Demon promised his best friend he’d watch over his little sister, a debt he considered paid when she was grown and settled out of state. Now ten years later she’s back in their town, this time with a baby in tow. She needs help, he can give it as a replacement big brother of course.

When Violet meet Demon again, she realis’s her feelings have matured, but not changed over the years. She still wants him. He doesn’t see her that way, treating her just like he would a sister. Stepping into Nathan’s shoes to help her out of trouble. She does need help should she take the chance on Demon helping her or walking away?
She is being dragged into a war and she is dragging the Satan Devils with her can they win?
I highly recommend this book/series…

Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett is their the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series. This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you desperate to read more.
This has been a brilliant series and this book is just another example of that. I knew from the blurb that I would be drawn into this bill but I didn’t expect to be so immersed in what was happening. I really liked Pyro and Mel, for me they just clicked. I was hoping all the way through that they would find a way to be together.
The story was exciting. The author really takes you on a journey with this book. She definitely knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is one series I would definitely recommend reading.

To say I’m completely obsessed with this series is an understatement! I love a good MC and sometimes they can be really hard to come by but this series is GOLD!

Demon is 100% pure alpha male hotness and the new president of Hellfire. Violet is a strong and feisty single mom who is now back in her home town after 10 years of being away. Her brother was Demon’s best friend before he died and Demon was supposed to keep looking out for her. Now Demon wants to make up for his promise but he starts seeing her differently and the chemistry is explosive!

Love this series and I loved these two characters. They are probably my favorite so far!

Demon’s Angel by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will start your engine. This is number two in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado chapter) Cross over series and they just go from strength to strength. The strength and sizzle in this story will make you see the a roller-coaster of rainbow emotions. Violet is such a great character, her strength will make you care so deeply for her, Demon was weirdly the one I was slow to come to, I didn’t think he was enough in the beginning, he just didn’t appeal to me but about half way through I don’t know why but I was suddenly like, wow he is such a great man. I don’t know where it came from, but it surprised me. Secrets and history don’t always play fair, but Manda Mellett has a great way of pulling both together and blowing us away.

Devil’s Dilemma could not have been a more perfect book! I am seriously loving the Colorado Chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. These books are just so full of story, love, intrigue, and most of all gorgeous characters set in a gorgeous setting of Colorado. I would highly recommend that you read the series in order for the fullest enjoyment, but I could see where you could appreciate these books as standalones as well. I just happen to have gotten hooked and invested.

Devil’s Dilemma brings us Pyro and Melissa’s story. These two are both strong and valiant characters with a past that proves to make their future challenging. Starting out as friends these two develop into something so beautiful it had me letting a few tears go for them. The twists and turns that are woven so perfectly into their story kept me on the edge of my seat well past my bedtime. I couldn’t get enough and I sincerely look forward to reading the next novel in the series!

SECRETS NEVER DIE by Laurie Lewis – Review by Liz Vrchota

Secrets Never DieSecrets Never Die by Laurie L.C. Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have had the pleasure of reading Laurie Lewis’s Love on a Limb novels around last years holiday season and I fell in love with her knack for spinning a sweet and gripping romance with some fun twists thrown in. When I saw SECRETS NEVER DIE, I just knew I had to see what the story would unfold into as soon as possible. I am so glad I scooped this one up. I adore when a book can consume me, make me feel as if I am in a separate, peaceful, state that I just can’t find anywhere other than a good book. This book very much did that for me. I found myself so wrapped up in the story that I quickly lost track of time and my surroundings. The sun set and the hours ticked until I found myself on the last page at 2 am wondering why I didn’t savor it just a bit slower.

The suspense in this story really grabs your attention right off with those first few chapters. I found myself completely engrossed in the journey Tallie takes. Tallie’s relationship with her mother and her past sets the reader up for a tale that will make you try and put the pieces together only to find out that you had them all mixed up after all. I was hooked until the end with the way things were built and the side twists and turns that I never saw coming. I can’t wait to see what else will come next from Laurie Lewis. I loved her writing this suspense and would love some more! In the meantime, I do have a few of her titles that I haven’t read yet that I will be going to dive into soon!

Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellet. This is my fourth novel by this author.

Melissa meets Skull at a bar one night and while she is surprised he would be attracted to an older woman, the two start a relationship.

He introduced her to his brothers in the MC and she feels like she had finally found her place where she is happy.

But one day Skull leaves but doesn’t come back which worries the others. Soon they believe him to be dead.

I don’t want to give too much away but this was a really loved this novel.

I read the others and each one has a different emotion while reading. It’s amazing that the author has accomplished this and leaves me wanting more of these characters.

I hope there is another novel because this is my favorite by far.

Devil’s Due is the 3rd book in the amazing Satan’s Devils (Colorado Chapter) by Manda Mellett. Every time I read one of her books I say it is my favourite and I’m going to say it again. With each book she just gets better and better and I’m even more hooked to her awesome group of bikers.
Like many other reviews you may read of this book, I am not going to name the hero as the author wishes this to be a surprise. A very pleasant surprise.
Like all her other books, this had me gripped straight away and didn’t let me go. I absolutely adored the hero and his heroine Stevie. Stevie is one of the most amazing characters I’ve read in a very long time. I loved that the author chose to have a blind character as her leading lady. And I may add that she’s one determined, stubborn, independent lady. She’s totally kickass and I just adored everything about her.
One thing I love about this author’s writing is that she always throws in a good few twists and turns that you don’t see coming. Reading this book I was convinced that at some point we’d discover that Stevie isn’t actually blind as that’s the kind of thing Manda Mellett does to you. But as I’m usually rubbish as guessing her plot twists, I was wrong as usual! Lol!.
As always from this author, this book is filled with so much drama and suspense, you won’t want to put it down. Added to that is a healthy dose of angst and romance. For me, a perfect package.

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter Book 4 by Manda Mellett. I have read every single book in this series and also the originals.. I did not think that I could have loved Manda Mellett any more but this book has me totally and utterly in love. I am really unsure how to write this review without giving away anything…….. Melissa didn’t think that she would or could ever be a “bikers chick” she was proven so wrong!!!! She fell in love and he pretty much vanished into thin air. Since she was an ” old lady”, the club would always be there for her. Melissa was claimed, Pyro knows this, he can’t act on his feelings. She is everything that he has always wanted in a woman. Why couldn’t he find her first??

You have to read this book along with the entire series!!!!! This book is so much more then 5 stars!!!!!

Yet again another 5 star read from this amazingly talented author! I am absolutely loving this series so far and Devil’s Dilemma was a fantastic addition to it. As always I was completely hooked into what I was reading from beginning to end. I adored Melissa! She was totally a character I could relate too – I thought she was so genuine and real that I really did feel a connection with her and when things were hard for her I felt every single emotion that she did. I loved Pyro! He was such a lovely character! He had a genuine personality and connection it Melissa – he really wanted to be there for her and help her. I really liked the slower pace to this story as I felt like I suited the characters more, especially for Melissa’s character – she was unsure of herself and had low self-confidence so rushing into certain situations really wouldn’t have worked for her.
As always I look forward to more from this author again in the future!

Secrets Never DieSecrets Never Die by Laurie L.C. Lewis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Secrets Never Die by Laurie Lewis took me a little longer than normal to get into, but that was because of all of the distractions of life. By the time I got to the end of this book I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down.

Tallie grabbed my heart from the beginning and the more I read the more she had my heart. I loved the twists and turns we took together to find out the truth.

Jackson was sweet but relentless in trying to get to the truth. The moment when everything clicked for him I too had an aha moment. I wasn’t expecting the twist at all.

I really liked this book and i almost didnt read it. I’m so glad I did and I will look for others by Ms. Lewis in the future and hope I enjoy them as much as I did.

Ailey of Skye by Wendy Hewlett – Review by Jana Teppih

Ailey of SkyeAiley of Skye by Wendy Hewlett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ailey of Skye is the first book by Wendy Hewlett I have read. It was a fantastic read and I once again fell in love with Scotland and the brogue … The writer tackles topics that are not easy to write about or read about – child trafficking, abuse, addiction … it also tells the story of the love of a family, self-acceptance and love itself …
Ailey of Skye is Aileen MacEwan’s discovery of herself, her past, the secrets hidden in the past and at times she feels that she cannot simply continue… it is Aileen’s story of growth and fulfilling her dream… be prepared for a rollercoaster and plan some time as you will not be able to put the book down until you get to the end! It is a nail biting crime thriller that reaches beyond the limits of the genre and I think anyone can find something that speaks to them when reading it.
I will be on a lookout for more from Wendy Hewlett and I am happy to have discovered another great writer!

Im seriously running out of descriptive words for this author and her series, I can’t say much more than I absolutely love how she takes each book in these multiple book series and makes each one so different and definitely unpredictable.

I’m loving the Colorado Series as much as the Tuscan chapter series and this one totally threw me. I found myself invested quite early on and unable to put it down till the end. This one had a different twist, something I never thought of even while reading it and I loved it!

These characters all had my heart early on, even those that lost it somewhere along the line, and the issues they faced in different aspects of their lives felt real and I appreciated that.

This was not my favorite of all of the books but still ranks up there with loving every second of it and I am thrilled about who gets the next book and I absolutely can not wait!!

Read these books!! All of them all the way back to Book 1 of Tuscan…You will not be sorry!!

Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter Book 2) by Manda Mellett – Review by Randall Murphy
This story pulled me in very quickly. I love how the author makes the MC culture authentic and real without being seamy. She connects with their humanity without betraying their raw masculinity and dominant natures. This story delves into deep feelings and subdued attraction that won’t stay restrained. This is a great love story mixed in with a little bit of mystery and MC/local mafia action.
