The Dark Sparrow Box Set contains Three full length novels in the Dark Sparrow Series By India Kells. These three books are Lost Bastard, Cold Bastard and Wild Bastard. This author is one that I have come to enjoy rather quickly, and I just keep devouring more and more of her books. The Dark Sparrow series so far is centered around 6 brothers and Each book in This Box Set is about one of those brothers( Alexsei, Archer, and Kai) and the women they love. The brothers have an evil father and they must band together to bring the evil bastard down. These books took me on a roller coaster of emotions that I didn’t wanna get off of and I enjoyed every second of it. I am looking forward to hopefully reading a story about the remaining brothers and reading more by this author! Happy Reading!

This is my first book by Wendy Hewlett so I did not know what to expect other than it was a self-discovery story with a possible love story. Little did I know that 2 chapters in and I would be “a blubbering fool” as well! Parent child relationships are so personal to me because I am both a parent and a child. My relationships with my parents/stepparents is rocky at best; however my relationship with my children is so much better. Whenever I read a story involving parents and their children I always get a little misty eyed. The way Hewlett has written the relationships with Ailey and her family had me sobbing. Then laughing, then angry, then smiling! You know: all the feels!
This story was filled with so many twists and surprises all because one man was a selfish liar. I loved watching Ailey discover herself, her family’s secrets and her new found friends. Everyone needs true friends, ones you can trust, ones you can laugh and cry with, ones that just get you. Friends that are really your tribe!
I don’t want to give away any more of this story but I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to see what else Hewlett has up her sleeve!

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4 by Manda Mellett. I always go into any book favorite author or not with an open mind and once again this author has stolen my ability to write a review worthy of the world she creates. From book one I’ve been anxiously waiting for the next book and this one was no different. Once again I found myself drawn into this story world created with a killer storyline and characters you can’t help but feel a connection with. Plenty of romance and action to go around. Melissa and Pyro are characters that make you feel everything they feel. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and so excited to see where readers are taken next.

The Dark Sparrow Box set features the first three books in the Dark Sparrow series by India Kells.
The first novels features three brothers who have secrets and three women who come into their lives.
The brothers are trying to get away from their father but with their life, they never can.
I love the characters and how the men are okay with being alone or suffering from family tragedies until they meet the one that will melt the ice around their heart and show them there is more to life then how they are currently living.
It sounds like there will be three more books and I am excited to meet the other three brothers and see how this series ends.

India Kells writes wonderful series with strong characters. What I liked about THE DARK SPARROW series is that while the men are strong and the women are stronger.
Each book is a standalone but there are interwoven stories and characters that tie them all together.
I enjoyed rereading these one after the other. Each story is well developed, has a little bit of everything (including superhero undies) and all have satisfying endings.

YES! This series is everything! I fell in love with the Satan’s Devils MC in the first series and this is the spinoff series featuring the Colorado Chapter. So, Colorado happens to be one of my most favorite places on earth and I adore feeling like I made a quick trip back to visit with each of these novels that I have picked up. Demon’s Angel is book two in the series, but I suppose you could read them in whatever order that you desire. I would recommend that you read the first series and the first book first for the best experience though. We do get to meet lots of people who are regulars so to speak.
I loved seeing Demon, the newest president to the Club, head up this chapter. We meet him back in book one just a tad as the president of Hellfire at the time. He is a swoony guy that seeps confidence, strength, and sex appeal, giving him the perfect Alpha male persona that will jump right off the kindle screen as you read. He will be faced with his past and obstacles that will test him will make for some great reading I can promise that.
We also get to know Violet more so. She is one heck of a strong woman and kills single motherhood since the death of her beloved Nathan. However it has been ten years and her heart may want to love another. Will everything blow up in their faces or will they be able to decipher the MC code enough to make their desire for one another work? These two will make you believe in love all over again. I can’t wait to see what will come with the next installment!

Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth book in Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. This is a friends to lovers, slow burn, MC romance- with lots of drama, and tension. Melissa thought she’ found her happily ever after in the arms of the biker who swept her off her feet. He introduced her to the ‘life’, family, and friends she holds so dear. But when he disappears without a trace, her ‘perfect’ world crumbles. Pyro is there from the beginning- he had her back whenever she needed him. Whatever she needed. He steps up like no other, and he truly thinks the world of her. She’s perfect in his eyes. But she belongs to another. To a brother. Some lines can’t be crossed. Can they? But as their friendship grows, it evolves- and soon feelings are involved. So, what happens when lines do get crossed? What happens when developments involving her ‘other’ love come to light? Will these two find their happily ever after, or are they headed for more heartbreak? I have loved all the books in the original Satan’s Devils, as well as this new ‘spin-off’ series- the ‘Colorado Chapter’. But I am really sorry to say that this one left me really frustrated. It is a slow burn, but the story was so slow it felt like it was really dragging/lagging for big chunks of the story. I have not felt like that with any of the other books. I was so frustrated with the story, and myself, because I just couldn’t find the ‘groove’. Maybe it was just me, and I was having an ‘off’ episode- but I really had trouble connecting with the story and the characters because of it. I really wanted to love the story and the characters- because they are great character- it just lost some mojo, for me…. But, this won’t deter me from pursuing the rest of the series, and I look forward to seeing what Ms. Mellett does next!

Demon’s Angel is the 2nd book in the amazing Satan’s Devils (Colorado Chapter) Series by Manda Mellett. Each book can be read as a stand-alone although the characters from other books, including her Satan’s Devils Arizona series, do appear in all books. I first read this author’s work near the end of the Arizona series and each time I read another, it becomes my favourite. This time is no different. The stories just keep getting better and better. You would think that after so many books the storylines could become stale or too similar but it’s totally the opposite. This book, like the others before it, grabbed me in from the very beginning and didn’t let go. In this book we are told the story of Demon who is the president of the Satan’s Devils in Colorado. Demon has had a lot to come to terms with recently (as we learned in Paladin’s Hell). Last thing he needs is a woman distracting him but when Violet Palmer comes back into his life needing help, he just can’t resist the one woman who has always had a place in his heart. This book had all the feels. The intrigue and suspense will have you on the edge of your seat. There are many twists and turns in the story that keep you totally gripped. I absolutely love the way that Manda Mellett weaves a fascinating story with characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. I definitely recommend this book.

DEVIL’S DILEMMA is Book 4 in the Satans’s Devils MC series and can absolutely be read as a standalone. While there are overlapping characters and story lines, there is enough explanation to understand what is going on.
This is a very detailed, slow paced story that mainly takes place in 5 months time. I will admit that I found myself frequently skimming because it was just too slow for me. It could just be the space I am in but the story just seemed to drag.
I have enjoyed the other stories by this author so I won’t give up on the series.
A side note… I love this cover, it feels like a more real representation of the story.

Jessica Blake, the entertainment reporter for a small Vegas newspaper, is aching to sink her teeth into a juicy story and become a serious journalist. With her career and sex life at a stalemate, she takes matters into her own hands and decides to go undercover as a submissive, eager to learn about the BDSM lifestyle. Armed with her curiosity of kink and the confidence that the article’s salacious nature will get her noticed, she takes a meeting with a Dominant. Her cover is immediately blown by Adam Maxwell, a Vegas casino mogul, and swoon-worthy bachelor.
While Adam is initially furious by Jessica’s scheme, he is also intrigued. He makes her an offer, tempting Jessica to take a walk with him on the wild side—no strings attached. She will get her story, and he will get her, to do with as he pleases, for as long as he likes.
I’m an actress, turned fitness instructor, turned author of naughty shenanigans. I’ve told stories and entertained people my entire life. Writing is my favorite because I don’t have to leave the house or put on pants. Plus, the voices in my head always do what I say, for the most part. LOL! I live in Las Vegas with my husband, Bill and my adopted pooch, Harley. I still teach cycling classes. It keeps me sane-ish. Some of my guilty pleasures include, reading, Bravo TV, Game of Thrones, cheese, chips and wine. (Although, I don’t feel too guilty about it.) Thank you for stopping by my page. If you decide to take a chance on one of my books, I hope they provide an escape and you’re swept away with my characters. Welcome to my world.

Secrets Never Die by Laurie Lewis is a very, very clever suspense story that keep you on your toes as you try to navigate the delightful twists and turns. It really shows off Laurie’s talent as an author as the plot whilst seemingly random, is one dance that is so intricately woven together, yet delivered to draw you in. The characters are well developed and believable to read. There is action and drama, suspense and thrills that will keep you tied to your chair as you try to piece it all together and try to work through the puzzles. Laurie has done great job with this story and it is one of the best suspense stories I have read this year.
You need to read and discover the world that Laurie has created so you won’t be getting any spoilers from me.

Devil’s Due is the third book in Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. This is definitely my favourite of the crossover series so far. It is full of protective biker action, drama, emotion, sizzle, danger, some suspense, and much more. After loving the previous series soooo much, I have had some pretty high expectations for this series, and Ms. Mellett doesn’t disappoint. I was excited to read this story, and if you have been following her series, you will want to read this book! Trust me! As expected from Ms. Mellett’s stories there is always an incredible plot that will hook you right off the bat, with an unpredictability to the storyline that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. With surprising developments and a few twists along the way to keep things really interesting. But it’s the characters who really make these stories so exceptional- and these books wouldn’t be the same without the superbly crafted and complex individuals who make you believe in them, invest in them, and root for them the whole way though. If you love a really well written, original, and riveting MC story- with complex, interesting and endearing characters- then let Ms. Mellett take you on a ride you won’t soon forget!

Somehow Mellett continues to build this MC universe in such a way that leaves me breathless and wanting more. These characters – wow. I could not have predicted, although I should expect this by now, to have been so immediately captivated by the storyline. This was my favorite female lead so far of the series. Just an extremely well written book with characters that come to life. Absolutely loved it!

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) By: Manda Mellett 5 out of 5 stars
The story Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett is a romantic suspense book. It pulled me in right from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the very last page. I loved reading about the characters of Melissa and Pyro. Melissa is a woman who loves to cook. Although she wouldn’t consider herself wild or adventurous, she soon finds herself in a world that is exciting and one she finds herself liking. Then that man that introduced her to that world disappears. Pyro is a man who steps up to help Melissa when she really needs it. He soon finds it hard to hold back the feelings that he has for her. She is already claimed. What does the future hold for Melissa and Pyro? What happened to the man who introduced Melissa to a world that she now finds herself in? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading. It also had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I grew to care about Melissa and Pyro with each chapter that I read. It is not hard to root for them to be happy. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are in the book. Some of them are brought forward from the other books in the series and I enjoyed reading about them again. This is a story that will have you glued to the pages and not wanting to put it down until you have finished. I highly recommend it.

This author has the ability to create a story that pulls you in from the beginning and keeps you engaged until the end. Her characters are well develped and make the story come alive. I couldn’t put this down once I started it, I needed to see how it would end. This is Melissa and Pyro’s story, lots of action and romance, this author brings it all. No regrets picking up this book, a must read.

I must start with the fact that this book’s main character bears a special name, and one that is my middle name. I love this! It is so rare to see Aileen spelled with an A. I suppose I was already invested in Aileen before I really even began the book. This is what attracted me to it when I read the blurb. I have never had the pleasure of ready Wendy Hewlett prior to this so I had no idea what to expect. I was extremely happy that I loved this book as much as I did.
Ailey of Skye will take you on an emotional and suspenseful roller-coaster literally from the very beginning straight up until the end. If its got a label the emotion was felt, and a few others I probably can’t name were felt too. Aileen is still new at sobriety and she is running from her past right from the get go when she discovers that she has family in Skye Scotland. Problem is she has no clue who these people are and what the trip will entail. I sincerely felt as if I was right with her as she tackled the dangerous and scary parts in Toronto. I also felt the impact of the gorgeous place that Scotland is. The world building is phenomenal. I will definitely be awaiting whatever may come next from Wendy Hewlett.

A Dark Sparrow Box Set (Dark Sparrow Series Books 1-3) by India Kells
5 Stars
OMG I love this series, I’ve read many books by this author and will read everything she ever writes and that obsession started with this series. Trust me when I say you need this series in your life and read them all in order just because they are that good and there is a continuing story throughout.
This is about 3 very different men that share the same blood and the same evil father and also the same mission. Each one is about one of the brothers and the women that capture their hearts but bring their own baggage. Mix all of this together and you have vintage India Kells…Twists, turns, unique storylines and emotionally filled pages.
The best part of all of this is there is more to come, more players to join the mix and I can not wait for every one of them. I have no idea how she plans to work the rest of this series but you can bet I’ll be one of the first in line to find out.
One click this box set and then make some time because I promise you will not want to put them down!

I wasn’t the type of woman a biker would go for. I’m a homemaker type, not adventurous or bold.
I fought it hard, but he dragged me into his world, and I found I liked it. Loved the family vibe, how everyone would gather around to protect what was theirs.
Until, he vanished. Disappeared off the face of the earth. He’d pulled me in, now he’s gone. The only explanation for him not coming back is that he’s dead.
Pyro
She wasn’t mine, and never could be. She’d been claimed by someone else. The perfect woman who I could never have as my own.
I stepped up when she needed someone beside her. Held her when she needed a friend. That my brother was dead was something I’d help her accept.
The truth though, that hit the hardest. How could any of us deal with the knowledge that there was something worse than death?
Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

This book was such an amazing start to a new series and i absolutely loved it. The writing was great and the author had a way of grabbing my attention and keeping it throughout the entirety of the book. This book is about Jayden and Paladin. They are two fantastic characters that went so well together and you just couldn’t help but root for them from the very beginning. The two meet when the Satan’s Devil MC rescues Jayden and she couldn’t help but fall for Paladin rather quickly. They move to a different MC compound in Colorado and life is rocky. Pulled in every direction, its seems like everyone is against them but will their love thrive or parish in beautiful Colorado? I cannot wait to read the rest of this authors work! This book was an awesome one and i have high hopes for the rest of the series! I would recommend to anyone that loves a good MC romance! Happy Reading!

There is a lot of swearing and some violence, so beware if you don’t like that sort of thing, but that only enhanced the reading. There is also action and drama, violence and death, suspense and thrills that will keep you tied to your chair as you try to piece it all together. It is great to see Laurie branch out from the norm of historical romance and produce such a great read.
You need to read and discover the world that Laurie has created so you won’t be getting any spoilers from me.

A Dark Sparrow Box Set – Books 1-3 contains the first three amazing books in the Dark Sparrow Series by India Kells. I have loved everything India Kells has written, and these books are no exception. They were riveting from beginning to end- and I though Ms. Kells wove a really gripping, well thought out, and intriguing stories. Each one focuses on one ‘brother’ and the woman who steals his heart. But you will see them make appearances throughout the series. Each book adds to the bigger picture that’s being built- adding more facets to the overall story. So this is a really great way to get all the story without- 3 for the price of one- now that’s a great deal! My review for each individual book can be found on each title separately, this is a general over view of the box set.
The Box Set contains:
–Lost Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book One) This is Aleksei and Diva’s story. So, if you are a MMA/ Russian Mafia romantic suspense lover, then this is one book you won’t want to miss.
–Cold Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 2) E follow Archer and Zoe through all the intriguing developments in this fantastic second chance romance. Even though I have adored all the books and characters in this series- this one dug itself a little deeper into my heart and is my favourite of the bunch (so far).
–Wild Bastard (Dark Sparrow Book 3) I loved Isabelle and Kai’s story, and I am sure you will too. There is danger, suspense and second chances that will have you hooked right till the end.
These books are so well written with lots of multi-layered and complex texturing- which resulted in exciting and incredibly entertaining reads. There were a lot of funny quips and banter too, which help to lighten the emotional, or highly charged moments which occurred throughout the stories. I loved the way Ms. Kells developed her characters, they were all fantastic and very interesting (even the baddies)- because they pulled me further and further into the story, leaving me with a desperate need to know what was going to happen. Ms. Kells creates quite brilliant, intricate, and suspenseful storylines which included lots of action, danger, deadly games of cat and mouse, perilous situations, evil masterminds, lots of secrets, difficult choices, shocking revelations, electrifying chemistry… and so much more! I really recommend this Box Set, as I am sure you will love it just as much as I have. I can’t wait to see what Ms. Kells has in store for us next!

Paladin’s Hell: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) #1 by author Manda Mellett tells the story of Paladin and Jayden and is the first book I have read by this author. I can honestly say that I was a little lost at the beginning of this book that is said to be a standalone novel. The backstory of Paladin and Jayden was told quickly to give some insight into what came before. Once that was done, I found the story to be enjoyable and now I feel like I need to go to the author’s back list and read what I missed. I will continue on with the series since now I am looking forward to seeing what comes next!

I can officially say I’m hooked! I love MC books but this is probably is definitely towards the top of favorite MC series! I was completely engrossed by the story starting on page one. I haven’t read the previous books by Manda Mellett but I loved learning the history between Paladin and Jayden as well as getting to know the other characters.
I loved how this story is completely original! I have never read anything like it and it was so beautifully done. I cannot wait to consume the next books in this series!

So this being my first read by this author I was super excited about it. Lets just say I can’t wait to read another.
This story was so unique and grabbed me right from the start. I went in blind, only seeing the beautiful cover so had no idea besides Ailey who this book was about. I was shocked when I learned who Brodie was and that’s about the time I was totally invested..There were a lot of moving parts to this story and there were times I was worried that things would become predictable, well no reason to worry, there was nothing predictable about this story.
I loved everything about it, the location, the characters, the other characters coming to life within the story with their own stories and the awesome twists and turns and ah ha moments I had. This book flowed so nicely and I loved the flawed main character and her fight in life to find out who she is after battling some pretty tough issues only to find herself battling ones she never even knew about.
I experienced many emotions while reading this and have already recommended it to another, I seriously can’t wait to read more from this author.
