Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth book in Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. This is a friends to lovers, slow burn, MC romance- with lots of drama, and tension.
Melissa thought she’ found her happily ever after in the arms of the biker who swept her off her feet. He introduced her to the ‘life’, family, and friends she holds so dear. But when he disappears without a trace, her ‘perfect’ world crumbles. Pyro is there from the beginning- he had her back whenever she needed him. Whatever she needed. He steps up like no other, and he truly thinks the world of her. She’s perfect in his eyes. But she belongs to another. To a brother. Some lines can’t be crossed. Can they? But as their friendship grows, it evolves- and soon feelings are involved. So, what happens when lines do get crossed? What happens when developments involving her ‘other’ love come to light? Will these two find their happily ever after, or are they headed for more heartbreak?
I have loved all the books in the original Satan’s Devils, as well as this new ‘spin-off’ series- the ‘Colorado Chapter’. But I am really sorry to say that this one left me really frustrated. It is a slow burn, but the story was so slow it felt like it was really dragging/lagging for big chunks of the story. I have not felt like that with any of the other books. I was so frustrated with the story, and myself, because I just couldn’t find the ‘groove’. Maybe it was just me, and I was having an ‘off’ episode- but I really had trouble connecting with the story and the characters because of it. I really wanted to love the story and the characters- because they are great character- it just lost some mojo, for me….
But, this won’t deter me from pursuing the rest of the series, and I look forward to seeing what Ms. Mellett does next!

Thank you, Ms. Mellett!
