This book was such a great book. It has 2 books about 2 different couples and their story. You meet Damien and Bryanna in book one and Dereck and Layla in book 2. Each book has their ups and downs and heart wrenching moments. Both females and their counterparts have this spark that is off the charts. Both females are strong and fearless and don’t take no for an answer. They will go to the ends of the Earth for the people they love. The boys make great protectors and when they realize they have fallen for the girls it’s like a giant lightbulb moment for them. The writing is simply amazing, and the world is beautifully set up. There is action, romance and spice for everyone. Via is a wonderful storyteller and I absolutely loved reading this book!

Auctioned: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the third book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is yet another amazing book that I have read by this author. It is such a strong addition to the series. I loved the characters in this book. They had such a strong chemistry together and their connection felt relatable. I found myself wanting to read more about them. The story itself has been really well written. I was hooked right from the start and I just had to know how it was all going to then out. This book really does has a bit of everything you could want to make it fantastic. This is a brilliant series and one that I cannot recommend highly enough. Relentless: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguard series. This is an amazing book – and series – from an author who has easily become one of my must reads. This is yet another book that I was hooked on from the start. It is and exciting story that is fast paced and intense. I loved Layla and Dereck and the fight they had to make things work. Their connection felt so real. I would recommend reading this series in order so you can experience it as it was intended, and each book is definitely worth it. This is an absolutely fantastic addition to the series and I am already looking forward to whatever comes next.

This was an amazing book. I couldn’t sleep until I finished it. It was a quick read because I became so involved in what was going on. There is so much in this book that I am having a difficult time trying to say why y’all should read it without giving anything away. You will get so emotionally involved in this duet that you will find yourself talking out loud to the characters and wanting to smack them at the same time. I always think that if you can get emotionally attached to the characters, that is how you know the book is written really well. The suspense in the stories if this duet is amazing. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting with bated breath to see what happens. You will also be blushing at the steam and romance of this story. The only exclaimer I can suggest is to be aware of your surroundings while reading this duet. I say that because I. did walkout loud and groan while reading this and my kids looked at me funny. I found myself having to walk around or to just stand up because of what was happening in this duet. This is an incredible duet that had me physically reacting to what was going on. Another brilliant page turner in this series! Pavlo and Regan are both such interesting characters and their fiery chemistry is electrifying as they learn to get along through necessity! Secrets abound in this story and you can’t put this book down! Highly recommended!
Wow, this story drew me straight in and the twists didn’t stop coming! Cade is the perfect strong alpha male, but Keira is no shrinking wallflower and the plot kept me guessing throughout! Definitely going to add this author and series to my autobuy list! Well worth a read!

Action-packed thrill ride! Pavlo maybe the alpha-hole that you think he is but he totally seems worth it. Regan is almost everything you want in a FMC, except too selfless. She should totally care about what happens to herself, which she never does.
Regan is a romance author on a short book tour with Pavlo, a spy thriller author. Pavlo is also a highly-skilled private security contractor. That part of Pavlo’s world is just kept on the DL. When Regan is unknowingly pulled into an assassination plot, she tries to figure it out on her own but gets in way over her head. Pavlo and his former SEAL friends are there to protect Regan from the crazies and, as it seems, herself.
There is a major twist when the action starts going down. People Regan thought were not loyal turn out to be her allies. People Regan thought would always have her back were only using her for their own benefit. All except Pavlo. He has been there from the beginning of this mess and despite him saying that he could only be a short-term situation, he appears to be very much in for the long-term.
This author writes genuine characters. There was some great banter. Even a few laughs along the way but what gets you the most is the selflessness Regan shows for her daughter. Fantastic read!

As much as I enjoyed the first book in this series I think I loved this one more. I was completely sucked in from the first page until the very end.
This book has a little bit of everything a hot protective alpha, mystery, danger and romance.
Pavlo and Regan worked from the very beginning, even though they didn’t get along and were thrown together due to the book convention.
Regan is the type of woman I strive to be and stick to my beliefs no matter how difficult it may be and it was very difficult for her to do it. This is definitely worth the time and I can’t wait to read more.

The suspense will make you keep turning those pages to find out what happens next. The slow burning romance will make you wonder why they weren’t a couple to begin with since the underlying attraction was clearly there. So after reading the second one, I Immediately wanted to read this one, I couldn’t wait. Although I think the second one is my favorite of the series so far. I super duper enjoyed this one almost just as much as that one. Mavery Ellscott is a fantastic author. Look forward to reading more! These books keep me soo intrigued I have a hard time putting them down. This was a slow-burn romance. With an intense mystery of a stalker that brings Keira and Cade together. Soo I’m picking up a Mavery Ellscott story for the first time. This one was sooooo good. I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t put it down. I have started on this book which is the second of the series, so I have to go read the first one not because I have to but because omg I truly want to( you also see some characters from the first one in her so i suggest you don’t be like me lmao and read the previous one first 😂. I loved all the suspense and plot twists that kept me on the edge, what felt like the whole time. The spicy tension between Pavlo and Regan was well written 😜 totally enjoyed it. I Cannot wait for book #3!

This was a thrilling 5 star read. I really liked these two and their story. They love to hate each other until love brings them together. This was a slow burn but it really pulled me in. We get so many twists and turns. We get danger, drama, LOL moments and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. I love protective alpha male characters and Pavlo definitely was that. All of the characters added a great element to the story. The story was in dual POV which I love so we can see what they are both thinking. The author did a great job with her writing and I can’t wait to read her next book. 1-click and get started today.
This is the second book in the Shadow Defense Security Series, and I love it even more than the first! We start out with a tense situation between Pavlo, Regan, and their publicist. It really paints the picture of how Regan and Pavlo see each other in the beginning. While they aren’t each other’s favorite person, you can feel the chemistry build through each chapter. I really enjoyed how quickly this book flew by with the twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. There is plenty of suspense, romance, drama, and action throughout the entire book. While this can absolutely be read as a standalone, you won’t want to miss any of this author’s incredible work! I highly recommend giving this one a chance, you won’t regret it!
Regan is a divorced single mother living her dream as an author. Just when she thought that her next book tour would go smoothly until her publicist told her that she not only would have a guest on tour with her but also a private guest signing. Regan refused to meet for the private signing but little did she realize that by refusing it would create a domino effect throughout her private life. Pavlo, the book tour guest, is not only a fellow author but a retired Navy and owner of a security firm. Ragen didn’t want Pavlo on the book tour let alone having him catapulted into her personal life. This was a fantastic book. I was hooked from the very first chapter! Can’t wait to read more by this author.
This is the second book in the Shadow Defense Security series. The books in this series can be read as standalones as they focus on different couples, but the characters to appear in other books. Pavlov and Regan’s story has elements of enemies to lovers, but Pavlov’s caring nature is revealed when Regan and her daughter are in danger. His protective nature and determination to keep the pair safe is part of what makes him so enjoyable. I like that Regan is also a strong character, she stubborn in wanting to do what’s best for her daughter and you can see her develop as a character as the story progresses. The author has again created well-written, enjoyable characters and you can’t help but get invested in their lives, especially as their stories unfold and the chemistry grows. The plot is well developed and had me hooked throughout. There were plenty of twists to keep me guessing, and the way these were written makes it easy to follow along as things shift. I’m really enjoying this series and I can’t wait to get my hands on more!
I absolutely LOVED this book and simply could not put it down! I was kept on the edge of my seat trying to work out who the hell was behind all this drama. I am not going to give away any spoilers but I will say I only worked part of it out. The main person was a total surprise. Pavlo and Regan are wonderful characters who will weave their way into your heart and have you on their side right from the start. This talented authors writing is compelling, creative and simply should not be missed!!

An enjoyable and engaging enemies to lovers romantic suspense thriller, which had me hooked throughout. When Regan Christenson and her daughter are threatened she turns to former Navy SEAL Pavlo Barislov, even though he annoys her. Pavlo finds Regan just as annoying but does not hesitate to protect her especially as the danger increases, but thankfully Pavlo has a relationship with Shadow Defense Security. The couple find themselves in an unexpected minefield full of deceit and treachery, and Pavlo starts to doubt whether he can keep them all alive. What neither of them expected was the sizzling chemistry and growing connection between them. This was an action packed story with great characters, and a slow-burn romance at the heart of the storyline. The plot twists kept me gripped and I found this book to be a real page turner. It can be read as a standalone story, and there are no cliffhangers.

I absolutely enjoyed the first book in the series and this follow-up definitely did not disappoint at all. The author continues to write an action-packed, fast paced story with plenty of twists and turns. I absolutely couldn’t put it down until I had read the last page! I am always a sucker for that slow burn enemies to lovers relationship and this book definitely hit it out of the park. The author did a great job of creating well rounded characters that you really love and care about. Regan and Pavlo are fabulous together and seeing their relationship with each other grow and change, during all of the suspense and danger. This is a wonderful series that can be read in the series or as a standalone. I definitely can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
I like this series. Shadowed Agenda was a wonderful second book in the series. A suspenseful romance thriller. Keeping the reader on their toes trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. The author brought together two characters that dislike one another, did they really or was it for show? Regan and Pavlo are a pair. Matched together to do a book tour by their publicist they couldn’t be any different. Personalities as well as what they write about. The idea was because they both sold rights to their books for entertainment purposes. What Regan doesn’t know is that writing is Pavlo’s side job. His real job is to serve and protect anyone who contacts the Shadow Defense Security team. A team made up of all ex-military personnel, especially Seals. Regan quickly learns who Pavlo truly is when threats start to be made on her life. He instantly goes into protection mode. However what happens when lines blur and he wants more from this woman than to protect her. But that can’t be right, they drive each other crazy. She’s frustrating and stubborn. He’s egotistical and a player. Will she give in to what they are both feeling? The author takes us on a while ride, with a budding relationship thrown in. A book that keeps you wanting more. A book with an ending twist one didn’t see coming. A book you should look into reading right now.

Yes, they technically could be read as standalones, but I felt having read the first book it helped fill in some of the background details. Personally, after first meeting Pavlo in book one was very excited to learn more about him and his story. Dual perspectives of Pavlo and Regan. Pavlo is a suspense thriller writer with a secret, he is one of five partners of the Shadow Defense Security company. He’s the perfect undercover agent and more times than can count it came in handy for a mission. Only this time the mission is in his real life not one he can just be the author looking for research on a new book. Regan is a soft romance writer that has overcome a disastrous marriage and found her own both for her and her daughter, Emmeline, who has a congenital heart defect. She has become very independent and doesn’t need help from anyone but learns the hard way, sometimes the strongest thing we can do is ask for help. One encounter month earlier left an unpleasant impression in each other’s mind of the other. Now a five-day book tour forces them together and it might be the best thing to ever happen to them. Their publicist Isla, once seen as Regan’s friend and trusted by both Regan and Pavlo, is acting desperate about a private book signing and not acting herself. New friends’ allies turn into friends and enemies turn into so much more. Why has Isla changed so suddenly? Does Regan’s ex have a deeper role? Can Pavlo succeed in keeping Regan safe when everyone is after her? A deeper dive into Pavlo was beyond anything I could have imagined. He’s very different from Cade in book one and yet both couples are similar in their desires to protect those around them. I have said it before and will say it again. I love enemies to lovers and love knowing a book has a HEA from the beginning because the hope lives inside our hearts as we discover the overwhelming twists and turns, they survive to reach that happy ending. I cannot wait to see what partner we will read about next, Javier? Drake? Or Seb? Only time will tell but, in the meantime, I will be going back and reading Gray Code Liaison, the prequel to Cade’s story.
This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a standalone. While I loved book 1 an wanted to love this one, I just couldnt get into it. Pavlo and Reagan have alot going on in this book so pay close attention but hopefully you will enjoy it more than I did.

This is the second book in the Shadow Defense Security Series. Even though it is part of a series, each book is about a different member of the team so they can be read as a standalone. However I feel once you have read one you will want to read more to discover every member of the team. These book are romance Suspense read with a touch of enemies to lovers, lots of sizzling chemistry and danger really makes this story a gripping read.We’ve got a protective male and a female who is strong willed and no damsel in distress so she doesn’t make his life easy.
This is Pavlov and Regan’s story. Pavlov and Regan are on the same book tour, both promoting this new books. However they can’t stand the be around each other. Regan sees him as a alpha male and from past experience she wants nothing to do with men like that. Pavlov sees Regan as a woman who is stubborn and strong willed and to much hassle. He plans to get through this book tour and go their separate ways with as little interaction as possible. However that all changes when Regan and her daughter are threatened and despite himself Pavlov can’t help but step in to protect her, whether she wants his help or not. Who is threatening Regan? Do they pose a serious danger? Can Pavlov protect her and her daughter? And what happens when it becomes impossible to keep his distance anymore and feelings start to become more complicated.
I love these books. Each guy is unique and the story’s are fast paced with engaging characters which makes them an enjoyable read.
Auctioned Surrender by Via Mari is the second book to the Sinful Duets series and is a combined book hosting both Auctioned and Relentless.
Auctioned is centered around Bryanna, Jenny Torzial’s young niece and Damian, a bodyguard who is on a mission to extract Bryanna safely from the clutches of sex trafficking world. But an even darker threat is lurking if Bryanna isn’t extracted soon. There is an enormous amount of attraction between the two of them, but things are very complicated. Damien clearly wants her, but she feels compelled to protect her family.
I loved the characters in this story. The world Bryanna lives in is terrifying, but the author did such a beautiful job with keeping everything realistic, yet sensitive.
Relentless follows the story of Dereck and Layla. Dereck is an undercover bodyguard who is put on an assignment that requires him to seek information from Layla. When he accidentally puts her into a potentially dangerous situation, it becomes his mission to help keep her safe. It doesn’t take long before Dereck is completely enamored by this beautiful woman and while he ultimately wants to protect her, he has a lot of desires to dominate this beauty.
If you enjoy lots of suspense, steamy dom/sub romance with fantastic characters, I definitely recommend! I suggest you start from the beginning. While you could technically read these as standalones, the stories to tie in with many repeat characters.

Shadowed Agenda is Book Two in the Shadow Defense Security Series. It is an action packed, romantic suspense, enemies to lovers’ story filled with tension, danger, drama, and action. The story centers around the characters of Regan and Pavlo and is told from each of their POV. Regan and Pavlo are both on tour with their latest novels. Regan is not thrilled about this because she thinks that Pavlo is annoying. Pavlo is equally unhappy touring with Regan because he finds her too independent. They do their best to avoid each other and stay out of one another’s way. Or they did, until the life of Regan and her daughter were placed in danger after she turned down a private book signing with a woman who is in line to be the next first lady. Suddenly danger lurks around every corner and the one person she can trust to keep them safe is Pavlo and Shadow Defense Security. As Regan and Pavlo get to know one another better the chemistry between them intensifies. This book was well written with an intriguing storyline, great plot, amazing characters, and vivid scene descriptions. I loved the character of Regan who was fierce, strong, independent, and stubborn. All traits that initially annoyed Pavlo but were what made him fall in love with her. This book had mystery, deceit, betrayal, chemistry, passion, romance, and twists and turns that will keep you riveted until the end.

Damian & Bryanna Great read with some action, suspense, danger, and, of course, romance. Even though this book has the requisite steamy bits, I liked the story line more. It’s a fast-paced tale so it’s easy to get sucked in and read it all in one sitting.
Dereck & Layla I’m going to start off by saying that the repeated use of the endearment ‘Princess’ grated on me. Pretty sure that’s a personal preference thing, though. Outside of that, the story is pretty good. Definitely full of the drama, danger, intrigue, and steamy scenes you would expect to find in a mafia romance.

This book is book 2 in a series, and though it can be read as a standalone, this series is so good that you won’t want to.
Authors Regan Christenson and Pavlo Barislov are on a book tour for their newest books when their publicist, Isla, suddenly tries to force Regan to meet with the wife of a senator for a private book signing. Regan wants no part of this meeting because she is morally opposed to the senator’s stances on most things, and chief among them is his view on women working outside of the home once they are married and have children. As a single mother to a medically fragile child, Regan has worked since her divorce shortly before her daughter’s birth. When Regan starts to receive threats, has her room broken into, and even is physically harmed due to her resistance to the meeting, Pavlo steps in to help her. Pavlo’s day job is working with some of his fellow former Navy SEALs doing private security and investigations. With this book, nothing is quite what you think it is, even when you think you’ve figured it all out, there is still a twist to keep you guessing.
This is an absolutely fantastic duet that you simply won’t be able to put down!! Auctioned: The leading lady of this story , Bryanna, is dragged into a dangerous and volatile situation in order to protect her family who she cares very deeply about. Along comes seriously dominant and deadly gorgeous Damian to find and rescue her. This is so not in her plans when she has her family to protect. Immediately Damian is not only wanting to protect Bryanna for the sake of his job but also because of his instant attraction to her. Bryannas very obvious submissive side calls to her brave protector.
I think the fact that there were times when I wanted to bop the main characters Damian and Bryanna up side the head for not just talking to each other, shows how creatively the wonderful Author Via Mari formed her characters to make us care about them. They have heart and depth that just makes you want to keep reading. The book presents both characters sides of the story all the way through giving us much better insight into the various situations that come along.
Relentless: Relentless Brings us the story of Layla, a very strong willed determined woman, hiding a genuine soft tender side, who is looking for her sister and the man who killed her cousin. Along comes the Super hot, determined and VERY dominant Dereck. He wants to protect her and be with her but knows she is hiding things from him. Lies is one thing he does not tolerate but at the same time he knows trust must be earnt, he just hopes he can earn her trust before its too late.

This is the second book in the in the Sinful Duets series and is split into two books, Auctioned and Relentless .
Auctioned – Book 3 When you have wanted that man to come into your life and you become his whole life, well I thought I could not have that until Damian walked into my life but will the situation cause me to lose him.
Bryanna is the niece of a rich socialite Jenny Torzial but when she becomes the embroiled with in a Sex Trafficking ring will she be lost forever or will her white knight come and save her from the gang and herself.
Damian is part of the elite group of Billionaire Bodyguards who’s job normally takes on the mundane of the rich and famous but when he is enrolled to find Jenny’s niece who has vanished can he keep his feels in check long enough to find her.
Omg I loved every word and was engulfed into this world hook, line and sinker. First off Damian has been added the ever growing list of book boyfriends and my god he can dominant me anytime he wants lol. The start of the story slows draws you into the world that Bryanna has been brought into and with the secondary characters this brings this world into the for front. As the theme revolves around the seedy world of sex trafficking it is written with sensitivity and humanity. I loved the strong, brave characters of Bryanna and her true spirit is shown within the story and with the Damian characters just add that bit of spice and sexual chemistry that sizzled underneath and when it finally exploded it was brilliant well scripted writing.
Relentless – Book 4 When you are caught in a world of total control and no way out, can a knight in tainted armour rescue her from this dark world?
Layla is an independent woman, she takes no crap but there is a secret which haunts her but can she survive in this world or will it all come crashing down around her.
Dereck is part of an elite security team but when he sees Layla he can not get her out of his head, but can they both forge ahead and because friends as well as lovers.
This story is full of drama and intrigue which the chemistry of these two characters jump off the page and with all the tension and underlining story makes this story fly off the page. These characters are well developed and full of passion and dark secrets which are brilliantly to read and discover. As this is in a series it would help to read the other books but this can be read as a independent story but to be fair who would not read this series.
