Shadowed Obsession is the first book in the series. The book will pull you in from the very first page to the last. This book was about romance and an dangerous stalker. The characters were well thought of. The plot of the story was great. Shadowed Obsession was a page turner for me. It also had me on edge wanting to know what happened next.

Once this author out together an amazing incredible story that I just couldn’t get enough of. I was hooked with this series right from book one and couldn’t out it down till I got thou all 4 of them. I do recommend starting from book one or you might not be able to follow the story line to well and not understand certain parts. This book like the others is filled with adventure, time travel, magic, danger, twist and turns and on the edge of your seat suspense. The history weaved into these tales was so well out and researched that this just made it more interesting. The characters are very well written in all the stories and the story line follows so well together that it made me feel like I was walking along with them on there adventure to find the ring and the conflicts that Ciaran and Aodhan face makes you winder if this will be the end.

The Ring of Eagna is the fourth book in The Cross of Ciaran Series and is a Paranormal Romance Suspense that will have you turning the pages till the end. I highly recommend reading this series in order as each book plays off the last and you get a better understanding of what has happened and who the characters are. Plus each book is just as good as the last. This one might be my favorite yet. There’s adventure, mystery, danger, action and treasure hunt and so much more. There’s plenty of twists to keep you on the edge of your seat while trying to figure out what is going to happen next. This is a fast paced story Ciaran and Aodhan are on quite the treasure hunt and soon they find put there are others looking for the treasure as well. As things heat up and get more dangerous and intense I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m a huge fan of this author and look forward to reading more from her soon.

Ciaran and Aodhan Donnelly are brought back together in Ireland to celebrate a wedding for one of their chosen family members. As they both have families of their own now, they find their past is not quite ready to stay there. Their book from their Tuath has a clue as to where there are hidden treasures, and the team/family is all for solving the riddle. However, they soon discover that someone else is also seeking the same treasures. When lives become threatened, can they discover the answer to getting to the treasure first to protect it? Or will they be doomed to losing a big part of their past to wily thieves?
I enjoy reading this series. The author does a wonderful job of writing inner dialogues that one would have with themself, should they be a person in the situation presented. For instance, Ciaran is used to being the center of attention with his wife. When he feels pushed to the side by the presence of his children, the author does a fantastic job of going through how he feels, recognizing that his behavior is selfish, and looking beyond himself to see what his wife is going through as well. There is growth in not only their relationship because of this, but also in the relationship that Ciaran has with his family members that help him confront his thinking. I like reading examples of good family communication, even if it is a fictional family! I am left wondering and hoping that there will be more in this series. If there are more, I will be picking them up to read!

A new to me author, and upon reading her bio I discovered this is her debut novel. WOW. What a great start in writing. Even though I was able to kind of figure out who the person was terrorizing Keira, I was still surprised at the over all outcome and discovery of other information. This book will keep you turning pages and make you want to finish just to know who did it.
The romance part is well written and I LOVE Cade and Keira. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

Intense. Oh wow. So, Mavery Ellscott is officially one of my top favorite new authors of the year. Before this book I hadn’t heard of this talented author but wow. Told from dual perspectives of Keira and Cade this book may be a slow-burn romance, but action, mystery and suspense start on page one. Keira is a thirty-two-year-old PR rep that has had a rough couple of months mixed with a dream finally coming true. She has been invited by her bosses to become a partner with them, a dream fulfilled right. Wrong, she has worked too hard and won’t give up the chance easily even if that means keeping the lid closed on her past and now, she has a stalker. Cade is an ex-Navy SEAL that owns Shadow Defense Security, a private military contractor, with four of his fellow service brothers. From the first time they officially meet both are attracted to the other but have their own reservations. Cade notices instantly the stress when meeting Keira only made more concerning that evening when after a brief incident, she spills the truth to him. What an amazing start to the series! I loved Keira and Cade so much, and the author had my immediately invested in these characters. They are relatable and their chemistry is wonderful. I was drawn in from the very first page and couldn’t read fast enough through the twists and turns! The synopsis is artfully worded as to not give anything away, so I won’t either. I’ll be you have to guess through the entire book what is happening and who is behind it because I sure as heck couldn’t make up my mind. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series as this author has a brilliant way with words. I highly recommend picking this one up if you’re a fan of romantic suspense with a touch of danger!

Shadowed Obsession: An Action-Packed Romantic Suspense Thriller (Shadow Defense Security Series Book 1)
I finished this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down, I was instantly sucked into the book. The intrigue started on the first few pages and didn’t end.
The stalker was relentless with Keira, I would have been terrified and I was able to feel some of her fear. Having a hot former SEAL living next door certainly helps her feel safe to a point. Her trust would have made it a lot easier.
I love these books and I always try to figure out who is involved and I was so wrong on who I thought it might be.

Loved this book! It was a great mix of romantic tension and suspense. Cade and his team try to help Keira catch her stalker an in the meantime they of course cant help their feelings for each other. This action packed romantic suspense thriller was a real page turner and it had me hooked throughout. When PR rep Keira O’Ryan’s life in invaded by a dangerous stalker she turns to her new neighbour, a former SEAL for help. Cade Hartford is now a Private military contractor, who is fed up with being on office duty while he’s rehabbing, and so he jumps at the chance to help Keira. He realises that catching the faceless stalker will be difficult as he’s already eluded the Montana police. When the stalker escalates his plan, Cade finds himself trying to outwit an adversary who seems to be one step ahead of him all the time. With Keira and Cade working together they can’t ignore their growing attraction, but as their relationship develops Cade is worried about mixing business with pleasure. With Keira uncertain who she can trust and her life in danger, Cade must uncover the identity of the stalker in time to save her. I was gripped by the fast paced storyline and the plot twists kept me guessing as to the outcome of the story. I enjoyed the slow burn romance between the main characters, both of whom were likeable and relatable. The chemistry between Keira and Cade definitely came across in the narrative, and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. An entertaining and enjoyable read!

Love this action packed romantic suspenseful story! It is fast paced from the beginning to the very end. I could hardly put this one down. This author did a wonderful job pulling me in and making me curious to the outcome of the story. The security firm has a lot of different characters and I am sure some we didn’t get to know. The romance between the two main personalities is slow going and I liked it because that longing was always there.
Overall I am excited that I picked up this new to me author and gave this a shot. I eagerly look forward to more in this series!

I have been addicted to this series from the beginning and this fourth installment, The Ring of Eagna did not disappoint one bit! I love how The Cross of Ciaran books have such deep roots in ancient cultures and archaeology. It is definitely what drew me to this series in the first place! Andrea Matthew’s creates a beautifully realistic and yet whimsical world that you can’t help but get lost in. I’ve always enjoyed her writing tone as well. Ms. Matthew’s really knows how to create a vivid picture and an even more clear feeling! This series has everything you could ever want: the paranormal, romance, time travel, mystery, and all blended in with historical facts! I was truly so excited to hear about this fourth book, hopefully not the last in this amazing series, and the engaging mystery woven within it. This was a great read that had me hooked and thinking about who the hell the stalker was all the way through. Keira, the beautiful PR rep and Cade, the ex seal who works security, are fabulous characters who draw you in and leave you truly wanting to see them get their a happy ending. Wow wow wow!! Talk about a debut….well done so well done. I could not put this book down and I was at the edge of my seat from chapter 1 until the bitter end. This gave me all the feels I love about a book….suspense, danger, intrigue, action and chemistry between two characters that are off the charts. The twists and turns that this story had…..just when I thought I had it all figured out….definite jaw dropping moments. I am already looking forward to more more more!
Cade Hartford, Navy Seal, has his own business with his partners as private security. His duty is to protect at all costs. This is my kind of book right here!!! Give me a Navy SEAL or any other military character and a psychological maniac on the loose and weave some words together and you’ve got me hooked!!!
Keira O’Ryan is a PR rep and she loves her job. She’s works with various entertainers so when a stalker shows up after her, it’s not completely surprising. Not to mention that college ex-boyfriend who got really creepy. After receiving a series of photos on her phone, she starts to become even more alarmed.
Cade Hartford and a few of his retired military buddies run a security firm. He’s recently moved in next door to Keira and senses that something is up with her. When she comes to him confessing the pictures and the strange happenings going on, Cade knows that he has to jump in and do something to be a great neighbor.
There are many things I want to say about this book but I’m not going to say much as to not ruin anything about it. Just know that if you’re into a good psychological thriller, look no further than this book! It kept my attention all afternoon and I read it in one setting. The writing is very well done and the there are a few twists and turns that try to throw the reader off track (as well as the detectives). I did have it figured out pretty early but a few times I questioned whether I was right or not due to the the twists and turns. It wasn’t quite as I suspected though! Buckle up and enjoy this read! I’ve already downloaded the prequel to this book and I look forward to reading it and future books by this author soon!!

Keira works at Milano and Lake as a PR form that promotes college athletes and she actually quite good at what she does but someone is sending Airdrop message that are freaking her out and she realises it’s no office prank and is convinced it’s her past coming to haunt her ….
Cade picks up on the nervousness Keira is trying to hide and he’s an ex navy seal that’s trying to recover from trauma and injury but his natural instinct to protect is stronger and when the heart gets involved lines get blurred and the desire to protect intensifies. Cade also is part of Shadow Defense Securities which is made of former seals like himself #hotnessoverload#🔥❣️
Keira hears someone in her house but manages to get to Cade without being detected and their suspense and tension filled journey starts…
This was really a good start to what promises to be a brilliant series !

This one was so good, I want to go back and read the others. I loved that this books was a who done it type of read. The characters was well described. The world building was well thought out.

Kiera O’Ryan does all things well. Works hard, and can do most things independently. Having said that, Kiera finds herself running from a stalker. When she turns to the police for help, they find nothing to back up her story. Cade Hartford, served his country, and afterwards joined a Private Military contractor. When his neighbor turns to him for help, his answer is yes. Now the real story begins. Can Cade help Kiera get away from her stalker? With romance also in the turn of events can they both fight the pull? This is the beginning of the series. Being a new to me author. But after reading this story, there will be many more intriguing stories to be read. I love her characters and the twists, turns and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is a stand alone and the beginning of what looks to be a great series. I am looking forward to reading more from this author. This series is off to a great start.

Taz (Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter Book 3) by D.M. Earl. This is such a good series and I loved this book. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the others first. Its the story of Taz who is a smart, independent woman who is the accountant for the Devil’s Handmaiden. She also has a son Teddy, that is autistic and he is her world. When he begins to get bullied she turns to the Devil’s Handmaidens MC, her friend Travis “the Enforcer” Milford and his friends from the Intruder to help. They rally around Teddy and protect him from the bullies. As Travis and Taz begin to spend more and more time together they begin to get feelings for one another. Taz also has some baggage from her past that comes back to haunt her in this story. Read this story to find out if Taz and Travis can make their relationship work even with all the factors around trying to break them up.
I love this kind of story where there is a stalker and a hero. But the one who is more in danger of both love and fire is the female. This book had me on my sit all day just to figure out who is going to get who. Keira amazing girl who wants life to be easy and peaceful had no idea that she was being stalked all this time but with all the creepy messages and how she felt off edge she got to call out for help. Former SEAL Cade received this woman in his house with two attention one romance and the other to keep her safe, but love gets in the way and it becomes the ticky time bomb to save her because time was getting away from them and the stalker got closer. Amazing story love it…

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it! I love a book that has romance, mystery, and action, especially if the main catalyst isn’t sex. I thought the author did a great job of introducing us to these characters and gave us just enough to be intrigued to hope to see them in more books. I feel like we got to see just the tip of the iceberg with them as I would expect in a short read. I can tell that this author has a way with words, and can weave a story. I can’t wait to read some of her full novels to really get a sense of her writing and the characters she creates. She left me wanting more. If you like a very quick read that is romantic suspense then you will enjoy this one very much.

When these two encounter each other again , it’s in an unexpected and disastrous way. They have so many obstacles and trust issues to overcome that you have to wonder if there’s any hope at all. Seeing how much Jack has grown from Moments That Define Us, brings a new and refreshing light. Having all of the Gray Ghost guys back in the mix makes this book even more enjoyable. I appreciated the fact that this books time period was during the same time as Chris’s story. As all books that Amy McKinley writes in the series, this story had lots of romance, action, deception, and intrigue. The secret that Hannah discovers after so many years filled me with both anger and sadness. My heart ached for all the loss she had already endured, and then her realizing even more loss in a different way. This book had me from page one to the end and I can’t wait to see what the Gray Ghost guys encounter next.

This is the third book in this series and just like the other 2 it is great. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions. There are twists and turns you just never see coming. All the characters are so in depth and just pull you right into the story. I can’t wait to read more about these super strong women and people they love.
What an awesome story! I loved this one! It is action packed with suspense, drama and MC goodness. This one covers a problem I have not read about before so that intrigued me. The author does a good job at weaving a story from beginning to the end then tying it all up in a web. The story flowed really well as it is told from different characters perspectives. The author does a good job of putting me in the moment. I was really worried and freaked out just lije the characters..I even felt their panic and was many times just “ go, Go, GO!”
Overall this is a great story incorporating multiple clubs with its large cast of characters. I felt Taz’s story was told on point and she did not get pushed to the back for the overall storyline. This easily could be a stand alone but I would suggest reading the series to get how connected all these characters are. Plus it was wonderful seeing the boys from Grimm Wolves MC as a cameo. This one I highly recommend if you are a person who enjoys MC reads with a spin on them and crazy good characters with depth. Well done!

Wow! From a strong business woman, to an unrelenting stalker, to a sexy ex special forces neighbor, this book has it all! The author gives just enough away to keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I absolutely love Cade and Kiera’s character development. The romantic chemistry portrayed between them was palpable, to say the least. I gobbled this book up in one session without putting it down. Truly can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for the future.

The Ring of Eagna is Book Four in The Cross of Ciaran series. This book carries on where the previous book left off so if you have not yet read the first few books in this series, I highly recommend that you do. They introduce to the characters, and the backstory while providing important details. Without reading them first you may feel a bit lost in the storyline. Aodhan and Ciaran are off on another adventure after they find an ancient manuscript written a thousand years ago by a monk in tenth century Ireland. The manuscript describes a mythical treasure that requires three ancient rings to access it. Ciaran and Aodhan already have two rings, so they feel that acquiring the third ring will not be so difficult. However, along the way they discover that they are not the only ones trying to locate the treasure and things become dangerous for the two men. The tension and drama intensifies as Ciaran and Aodhan fight to survive.
This is a fast paced, action packed, book that is chock full of adventure, danger, suspense, mystery, magic, intrigue, and twists and turns that will keep you reading until the very end. The author does a fantastic job of providing detailed historical information that fully immerses the reader into the storyline along with the characters. A fantastic read that with a riveting storyline that is impossible to put down.

This is the fourth book in this series. This is a series that I highly suggest reading the previous books before this one to help you understand the characters and where they have been. This is a series that I have enjoyed reading from the beginning. It takes you on an adventure that keeps you coming back again and again. Ciaran and Aodhan have something that some thieves want and will do what needs to be to get these things back. But these two are not willing to give up the items without a fight. You don’t want to miss what happens and who will win out. This is a fast paced, adventurous story that is hard to put down. It is engaging and has great growth throughout. An easy to read story that is entertaining. I highly recommend this book.

This book is the first book in the Shadow Defense Security series, and it definitely did not disappoint. I truly cannot wait to see what comes next from this series and this author. Mavery Ellscott weaves a tale of mystery, intrigue, suspense, and love. Keira O’Ryan is soon to be a partner at her PR company, but she has a secret she’s been keeping for months. She has been getting AirDrop images of herself sent by an unknown number, that not only make her feel uncomfortable, but also let her know that she has a stalker who is intent on keeping tabs on her. When her neighbor, Cade Hartford intervenes to try and help her find her stalker and stop the terrifying ramp up of the things that are going on around Keira. This book will keep you guessing to the end.
