I just loved this book! It was so good I just couldn’t put it down as I needed to know what would happen next. Arely and Kurt are absolutely wonderful characters and I loved going on their journey with them. It had the perfect amount of thrill and romance. Highly recommend!

From bad boys to rock stars, super soldiers to mafia bosses, Leslie Georgeson blends romance and suspense to create stories that are laced with danger, action, and plenty of steam.
An avid reader of all things romance, Leslie unabashedly carries her kindle with her everywhere. She lives with her husband and daughter (and an impressive collection of rare and exotic tropical plants) on a quiet country acreage in Idaho.

A new to me author, this one does not disappoint at all. This was a very engaging story. The characters are very well written and will have you enthralled from the first. Edge of your seat action and suspense with a love story and a rags to riches story thrown in. This book has it all. Loved it and it really kept me turning the pages.

Smith – Review by Kelli Harper
Aimee is lovable, strong, witty, and not afraid to be herself. Her lifestyle forces her to pay more attention than the average person. Her wit really pulled me in; she’s rough around the edges, but has the biggest heart.
Qadir only knows a life of ultimate luxury and power. When he’s powerless against Aimee it makes him want her even more.
After a chance encounter, when Aimee saves Qadir’s life, they will never be the same. Saving Qadir’s life could cost Aimee her own. Through twists and turns they find themselves trying to work together when danger rips them apart.
S.E. Smith did a great job keeping the story moving. Something About Aimee is a quick read that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book is beyond frustrating – in the best way! Every time you think that you are following the foreshadowing cues, something throws you off. I gave this story four out of five stars because the beginning of the book is slightly confusing and hard to keep up with. It is a very fast-paced book making it difficult to tell how much time has gone by. At one point I thought only a week or two had gone by and it was actually a month. This book is also best if you are bilingual and can speak Spanish – as a few important details lay in Spanish. The amount of information learned from this book was detrimental to understanding the characters and their lifestyle. The author did a great job at breaking down the different steps and key factors that go into a dominant/submissive relationship – this was done in an extravagant way that helps the reader understand what is going on and why.
After a great attack, Arley seeks protection from a friend. Once she starts feeling comfortable living her life again, Arley runs into an old childhood crush. From there, sparks fly, danger strikes, and a dominant/submissive relationship is formed. This book has the perfect mixture of thrill and erotica mixed into one.

Undeniable is book two in the Central Florida Stories series by Victoria Saccenti but is a standalone. I am a die-hard smut reader and the spice in this book is off the charts!!! I love my smut with a good story behind it and Kurt and Arely kept me sucked in and guessing though the whole book. If my childhood crush grew up to not only be my price charming but a Dom I would be in heaven lol. This book has everything I could have asked for, spice, Dom/sub, excitement, mystery and did I mention spice?? I promise you will not want to put this down…

Street-savvy Aimee, a woman content in the life of simplicity she has managed to survive with, finds herself in the precarious situation of saving someone on one of her courier jobs. Little does she know, Aimee has just saved Sheikh Qadir Saif-Ad-Din – a royal. Soon, the unlikely couple finds themselves falling for each other – but that doesn’t mean everything is about to fall into place… This was a wonderful read! I always love a good romance, but the action and overall flow of the story went beyond the typical sweetness of a solid romance and transformed the tale into an amazing story! Many romantic-suspense books fall short of the mark, with either too much romance or not enough, but this one had it all – as well as the added bonus of great world-building and intricate characters. If you’re looking for a burning romance with the added spice of adventure, this is the book for you!

This is the 2nd book in this great BDSM series. This was the book that has caught my eye but seeing that it was the second book in the series I decided to read the series in order. Each book can be read as a standalone but I chose to read I order as the main couple from book 1 appear in this book and the hero from this book Kurt appears in book one. I loved book one and as soon as I was finished I jumped straight into this book. Having met Kurt in book 1, I was really intrigued to read his story. Maybe it wasn’t mentioned in the first book, or maybe I missed it but I assumed Kurt was much older when reading book one. Kurt is a really amazing character to read about, I thoroughly enjoyed reading his story and see him get the HEA he truly deserved with Arely. Arely had crushed on Kurt as a teenager and unknown to her the feeling was entirely mutual. When they meet 12 years later so much has changed. I loved reading their story. A expected with a BDSM story, the sex scenes are hot and steamy but this book is about so much more than the sex scenes. A fantastic read. Definitely recommend.

There was a lot of things I loved about this book. Bobbi and rose were 2 strong female charters in this story, which I loved. I feel in love with max from the beginning, his love and care for Max! The story had a ton suspense, action, and romance. I did have a few issues. The different point of views seemed to be alot for this book, and I felt the villains point of view was unnecessary to plot. There also seems to be alot of “fluff”, I had a hard time staying focused and kept having to start pages over because I would zone out. It just didn’t hold my intention well.
The book did leave off with a large cliff hanger so I will definitely be reading the next book in the series. I hope that some of the issues I had don’t continue.

This is the first book in a BDSM series by an author that was new to me. It was actually the blurb of the 2nd book in the series that caught my eye, so I decided to read the books in order. They can be read as standalones but I know that the main characters from this book also appear in the second so for me the decision was made to read in the order they were written. I’m really glad that I decided to read this book and not just read book 2 as I really loved Joe and Hunter’s story. At the beginning both characters come across as quite cold and calculating, but as you get to know the real characters as the story progesses, you really see their true qualities shine through. I grew to love both these characters and was really rooting for them to get the HEA they deserved. Being a BDSM story, as you may imagine the sexy times are HOT. The author does a great job of having Dominant Joe bring out the true submissive in Hunter and it really made for some compelling reading. 100% recommend.

This book moves fast and keeps you guessing. You think you know and then you don’t know, and then blam!!! The twists are worth it. The heat and steam will curl your pages or melt your screen. Even though this book is long, it felt like it was a quick read. I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down. I couldn’t believe it ended so quickly. Amazing story. I enjoyed this book a great deal!!

Suspenseful, intriguing page-turner This is my first from this author and I really enjoyed the storyline. The delivery was a bit full on as there were many parts to the story. The main characters were well developed and the story very detailed. There’s romance, angst, mystery, drama, lots of action and suspenseful moments. Looking forward to the next instalment.

This author has another hit on her hands! I have read her Secure series and enjoyed them very much. This one was no different. Bobbi finds herself, along with her partner Rose, hunting a serial killer. This killer has a type and unfortunately Bobbi fits it perfectly. Bobbi is simultaneously trying to gain the respect of her partner, fight her attraction to detective Buckley and catch the perpetrator before he strikes again. Will she be able to prove to Rose that she belongs in the detectives squad? Will they catch the killer or will Bobbi be his next victim?

This might be one of my new favorite authors. Crime novels are some of my favorite genres and this book was in my top 3 of favorite crime books. The character development and growth was amazing. You could feel everything Rose, Bobbi, and Max felt. They were so well written. The storyline was simply put … intense. You instantly hate Andrew as he seeks out Bobbi, he is the first villain. The bathtub murderer is then revealed and you encounter villain number two. The author successfully blended both antagonists storylines the complete our protagonists. The ending was equally great and frustrating. I will be counting down the days until the next book is released.

This book really grabbed my attention right away, the cover was full of vibrant colors, the synopsis was intriguing and of course I was super excited for a female detective as the main character. This story was packed full of action, great character development, vivid details and so much more that I physically couldn’t put it down. While I have read a couple of books by this author this one is definitely my favorite and I can’t wait to see what our author comes up with next.

I was pleasantly surprised with Something About Aimee. S. E. Smith did an amazing job of drawing the reader in from the first chapter and never letting go! I found myself on the edge of my seat, invested in the romance between Aimee and Qadir. The descriptions of the different settings makes the reader feel like you are on the streets with Aimee or in the desert with Qadir. S. E. Smith uses great character building and an opposites attract romance, which I absolutely loved. There are so many twists and turns in the story, but somehow, it all meshes well. Something About Aimee is like a modern-day Cinderella mixed with a crime drama, complete with quick love and sneaky international criminals! I cannot wait to read more books by S. E. Smith.

I was drawn to this novel originally because I looked forward to a book with a female detective as a main character. So many novels have your typical, tortured male detective and I was looking forward to a different approach to your average crime thriller. I really enjoyed the book as early as the first few pages. The author uses a lot of clever metaphors and the style of writing seemed unique to me. Maybe just because I read so many of the same authors, it was a treat to read something from someone new to me. The author has a way of painting a vivid picture- this makes the trigger warning at the bottom of the synopsis all that more important. While there is some graphic subject matter, the author really does navigate the topics in a well written, entertaining matter that reads as smoothly as watching a crime movie on the big screen. The book quite literally left me wanting more and I look forward to book number two.

I have read many books by this author and have really enjoyed each and every one. Ritual Obsession is a romantic suspense tale. This great story is enthralling and engaging and it certainly had me engrossed. The danger, suspense and mystery, lies and deceit are raw and innocent lives are being taken because of one evil monster. I spent a lot of time with my heart in my throat and my jaw clenching whilst reading this book. It is a thrilling and enticing read that is nonstop action from the start to finish. R.L. did a masterful job of weaving it all together to come out with a story that will have your heart pounding and your emotions on high alert.

This book is about Bobbi, her new job as a NYPD agent and her coworkers at NYPD. In this book these NYPD agents are trying to catch a serial killer while going through multiple life changing events. Bobbi and Rose are an excellent example of strong relatable female characters and make you feel for them when they go through heartbreak and traumatizing experiences. I really enjoyed the steady progress of the story and the fact that there are multiple storylines. It definitely hits all the marks but it could be very heavy sometimes as it touches the subject of murder, sexual assault and the aftermath of surviving sexual assault. The characters are funny, relatable and intriguing. I gotta admit that the character Max stole my heart and his relationship with Bobbi had me going through all the feelings. On the other hand some characters will make your blood boil (no spoilers so I’ll let you decide who they are by yourself). This book is definitely a great start to the series. I can’t wait to read more from RL Dunn.

I went into this one not really knowing what to expect as I’m not usually one to pick up a “cop drama” type novel. Boy, do I need to rethink that. Dunn writes amazing, well-rounded characters, and fleshes them out as they “come into view”. By this I mean as they become more important to the story and the main characters, which I love! I’ve always despised having an entire cast named and described to me, then having to come back some hundred pages later when some of them become pertinent. Our main characters are Two female detectives, Rose and Bobbi. This follows them through both their personal and professional time while working the case of the Bathtub killer. Both women experience some major growth as characters and we really get to see that. There are some graphic scenes, and the cliffhanger at the end definitely had me screaming at my kindle app! Well played Dunn, well played.

Rose is a no-nonsense, do it by the book, and a good cop. She is partnered up with “Bobbi,” a society girl who is making waves for her stellar aim with her gun. Rose is not happy about any of this, but with a serial killer on the loose, she will have to put her feelings about this partnership on the burner. The “Bathtub Murderer” is taking out brunette haired, hazel eyed girls and guess who on the squad fits that bill? Bobbi. Join Rose and Bobbi in this murder thriller. They deal with lose, love, friendship, and some tragedies. Will they catch this psycho or will the psycho catch them? A must read and I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!

This is part 2 of Chains story and I could not wait to dive right in, especially after reading part 1 (A Tormented Man’s Soul). Chains has been through so much in life that up until now he hasn’t been able to truly see all the good in it. We get to see so much growth in his character in this book. This story brought out so many emotions and I had a hard time putting it down once I started. The author did an exceptional job pulling me into the storyline and connecting me to the characters with her attention to detail. I have loved every book in this series and it is my recommendation that you read them. This is a must read.

What a doozy of a story! My heart was breaking and aching for Chains. In here we find out what happened to him and can he be fixed or redeemed. I enjoyed reading this second part of the duet. I really felt for Chains during this story. This took me on a lot of ups and downs and is highly emotional.
I enjoy how this is told from different points of view. We get to catch up with all the characters and see their thoughts and feelings on Chains’ recent problems. We also meet a lot of other new secondary characters. I would be interested in a couple spin off as we meet a few other MC
This is the second half of the story of Chains, Winnie and Jackson. I suggest reading the whole series as we meet all the characters in previous books. If not that… at least read the first book of this duet. This is a darker story and not for the faint of heart.
Overall it is a perfect conclusion for these three characters. I loved how the story flowed along nicely. I read it very quickly as I became invested in their lives. I was particularly interested in what Wild would end up doing. He was such a interesting random character.

I really liked this book! Romance mixed in with suspense is a favorite of mine! This story follows a group of cops while they hunt for a killer. I really like how immersed you get into this story because you get to experience what is happening around each person, even the killer. I love when you are able to get a full view of the story like this! There is a sequel so of course I am left wondering what happens next! I am ready to dive into the second book and figure it out, it will be here in August! Can’t wait!
