I accidentally started with this book instead of the first in the series, but I think it did well as a standalone. I definitely have the urge to pick up the rest of the series now that I’ve finished this one! This was my first book from this author, so I didn’t know what to expect, but I do enjoy a good sports romance story. The flow of the story is wonderful, and I felt pulled into the hockey world with Colby and Gabby. They both feel like very similar (stubborn) people under all the superficial, and I really loved watching their chemistry unfold and grow stronger. The author also has strong knowledge of hockey through and through which really made it more authentic and enjoyable as I absolutely LOVE hockey! I highly recommend picking this up if you love romance, sports, and especially a combination of both. Heading to pick up the rest of the series now!

Gabby is a retired figure skater who owns her own business creating costumes for present-day skaters. Gabby hates hockey due to being caught up in an affair with an emotionally unavailable hockey player. However, her best friend, Addie, becomes engaged to a professional hockey player who happens to be friends with that ex-love affair, Colby. Unfortunately, for Gabby and Colby, they were both asked to be the best man and maid of honor in the wedding of their friends. This turns out to be problematic because they can’t get over each other, but also hate each other at the same time. However, being the good friends that they are agree to get along for the wedding. Colby wants to be with Gabby again, at least sexually, so he is always pulling her strings to try and get her to waver. Gabby, while she wants the same thing, knows her heart can’t afford to keep going down that road. As the story goes on, they seem to get better at tolerating each other and sometimes coming to agreements, but there are many obstacles that keep getting in the way of progress. Will the two of them recognize that being in love is not a death sentence and be able to work through their feelings? I enjoyed this book a lot. I like all character, but Gabby and Colby were great. Gabby was a strong, independent, woman looking for a love future. Colby, was a “typical” jock who acted tougher than he really was. The banter Colby and Gabby had was great! But when the story continued, you saw true change occur in Colby and you just wanted to fall in love with him yourself.

This book is a fun, contemporary sports romance that has truly enjoyable characters right at the heart of the story. I loved Piper and Bax and watching their story unfold. They had such a fun feel about them but also had a connection that is strong and deep. There was more emotion behind them that I expected which I think made me engage with them even more. This is an author that I always enjoy and this book is an example of why. Her characters are always engaging and stories well written. I find it so easy to get into one of her books and this one is no exception. As the second book in the series, this promises to be a really great one to read.

Out of Bounds is the second book in the Game Time Series by Tam DeRudder Jackson. It is a great addition to this series of steamy NA sports romances. This is Wyatt and Piper’s story about finding love unexpectedly. This opposites attract romance had plenty to keep me engrossed, from emotion and angst, to sizzling chemistry and spicy encounters- there’s lots of fun and witty banter to keep things entertaining too. Piper has sworn off romance, especially with football players – while Wyatt is talented in more ways than one. He’s used to winning, but can he win this girl’s heart? This is the 3rd book in the Hamilton Steelhawks series. These books can be read as standalones because I read this one first however I will definitely be going back to read the books that came before. These are a sports romance based around an ice hockey team. The authors knowledge of the game and how it all works really gives the reader an insight into that life both on and off the ice. This is Colby and Gabriella’s story. This couple have history which I didn’t understand but I think reading the first 2 books would have explained that. Neither of them are the type to want commitment but neither of them can deny the strong attraction and chemistry between them. After a couple of encounters could there be something more between them or is it just sexual chemistry messing with their heads. Both Colby and Gabriella aren’t prepared to open themselves up to potential heartbreak so they keep their distance from each other. However that all changes when their best friends decide to get married. With Colby as best man and Gabriella as maid of honour can they put their differences and rising sexual chemistry aside to keep it from spoiling their friends wedding or will being in close proximity to each other for too long bring all the things they have been trying to surpess to the surface? Will they keep it together for the sake of their friends wedding? Will the chemistry combust and ruin everything? And what will happen if they give into temptation and the feelings instead of running away. This was a really captivating read and I can’t wait till read more of this series.

Dirty Heartbreaker is my favorite book so far in this series! A hockey romance with so much love, passion, and turmoil it keeps the reader turning the page. The author once again sucks the reader into this world where truly desirable women are few and the men on the hockey team can’t distinguish what’s in front of them. Colby and Gabby met on a whim. Immediate passion left her to wake up alone in the bed without Colby to wake up too. Second chance meeting was no different but this time instead of Gabby waking up alone it was Colby. Third time the charm? It’s actually worse! They need to play nice as the best man and maid of honor in their friend’s wedding; they have no choice. Neither wants to ruin their big day. However, ignoring what’s between them isn’t easy. Especially when it’s driven more so by defiance vs compliance. Will it work, can they play nice? Well you know these books don’t come without some groveling, but it’s the matter of what happens to get to that point. I love a good sports romance. And this book and series don’t disappoint. Each one being about different teammates and supporting characters these books read well as a standalone novel as well as a series. My suggestion read them all!

One of my favorite authors to read. She writes such fantastic stories in a way that always has relatable characters. We get tog see that with Piper and Bax in this fun story. They have really great chemistry and we get to watch that grow in the story. That’s always been my soft spot. I love stories with characters that grown their relationship. They show the kinks and chips that can happen. It’s a really cool story that I enjoyed from the start. I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it.

This book is all about Gabby and Colby. Her best friend is dating one of Colby’s closest friends and teammate Max. Colby and Gabby both annoyed me so much reading about them. They are both adults. Have spent a night or two together and now Gabby tries her hardest to stay away from him. He’s a player and she’s looking for her happily ever after. Especially after what she does thru this whole book to help Addie. The chemistry between Colby and Gabby is ridiculously insane. They cannot be close to eachother without wanting to Rip eachothers clothes off. As much as Gabby wants him, she fights her feelings pretty good. Colby is very possessive and cannot deal with seeing his friends so close to or touching Gabby. Neither one seems to be able to admit how much they really care for the other. Colby has had his heart ripped out by an ex and he wasn’t looking for anything more then a one and done type of situation but, He can’t seem to get Gabby out of his mind. Will these two finally decide to be honest with themselves and then eachother and take the plunge and be in a real relationship?

4.5 stars Out of Bounds is a contemporary romance and the second sexy book in the NA Game Time sports series. I can take or leave sports stories, but Tam does them so well I just have to read them. Tam writes the story in multiple POV making the story that much more interesting because you get to feel the characters inner most thoughts and feelings that makes it seem more real. It’s easy to fall for the characters and enjoy their journey. With love, drama, humour, emotion and angst sparks fly in this sexy, hot, seductive, passionate and intense tale. Bax knows what he wants, and he wants her, but she only wants a one-night stand. He will let her think that, but he is one who gets what he wants, and he wants her. Piper has been burned so all she wants is a one and done but he wants to take it all the way to the end zone. I can’t wait for the next book. Happy reading!

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. An author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. I enjoy her writing style as well as how her characters pop right off the pages and into your heart. This is a well written story about Piper and Bax. They are my favorite of the story for sure. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story. I enjoyed their attraction and how connectable they are. They bring the story to life on each page. I found myself hoping they would find their HEA they so deserved. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story. An engaging, easy to read story that you don’t want to miss. Dirty Heartbreaker is the third instalment of the Hamilton Steelhawks series by A.C. Sheppard. This is the first book that I have read by this author and didn’t realise that it was the third book in a series when I started. Luckily it can be read as a standalone, as the series follows the Hamilton Steelhawks ice hockey team, where each book focuses on a different team member. So having read this, it has made me curious about the other team members, and so I will be going back to read the first two books to ‘meet’ those characters, before continuing on with any new instalments. Colby and Gabriella’s story is a slow burn enemies to lover’s sports romance, where opposites attract, snarky banter abounds, and chemistry simmers- adding intrigue, spice, sparks, steam, drama, angst, and emotion. This book was a hockey romance, but not like most others. The author seems to have a true love of the game.
This was a fast paced book and I couldn’t put it down! I related a lot to the characters. The “I’ve been hurt before so I’m going to make sure I never get hurt again” mentality really struck home.

This is one of the best hockey romances I have read in several years. The authors’ knowledge and understanding of hockey, the game, the players feels real. This one is different. There seems to be a real love of the game here, not to mention the name dropping. This helps make the book more enjoyable.
Gabby and Colby have both been hurt. Each resigns themselves to a life of one and done’s. Except every time they are in a room together, they are pulled together like magnets. Neither of them want to admit that it is more. Neither want it to be more. The first night they are together, he sneaks out. The second time, she does.
Now, Gabby’s best friend is marrying his friend and teammate. This means they will be in each other’s orbit more and more. Gabby is the Maid of Honor and Colby is the Best Man adding a level of togetherness neither wants to experience. Fireworks and mayhem ensue. When the wedding is done, so is Gabby. She won’t keep flying close to the flame that is Colby hoping not to get burned.
So, not going to add spoilers here. The team are fantastic characters. I want things to work out for Gilly. I need Rocky to find a shy, introverted librarian. Can’t wait for the next in the series. Looking forward to adding a Steelhawks jersey to my collection!! Love it!

So I LOVE hockey, which means as a reader I also really love my hockey romances. This one was definitely one of my favorites. I loved the chemistry between the characters, and I’m a sucker for people who fight their feelings and then give in at the end. The whole book was just fantastic, and I highly recommend!

Dirty Heartbreaker is Book 3 of the Hamilton Steelhawks series and a new author to me! This is a contemporary sports hockey romance and one of my favorite tropes. Romance on and off the ice, drama and angst, I loved this story. Although I have not read the first two books in the series, I did not feel lost, but I will be definitely circling back to start this series from the beginning. I was hooked from the first page and looking forward to more in this series.
Steelhawks hockey start, Colby Shelton, is hot both on and off the ice. He loves his team but also loves the ladies. There is one lady that is on his mind that he cannot let go…Gabby Abbandonato. As Gabby’s professional career ends, she is a talented designer in figure skating costumes…she does not want to be the type who falls for the hockey player….with sizzling moments with Colby…its hard not to fall. But heated moments lead to silence as Colby is not the committed type. When Colby’s hockey teammate and Gabby’s friend get married..whom is part of the wedding party..none other than Colby and Gabby. Can they work together for the sake of their friend’s upcoming wedding while sparks still are undeniable between them…or will the past and stubbornness be in the way to true happiness…

This Hockey/enemies-to-lovers/sports romance is steamy in all the right places and there is enough tension between Colby and Gabby that it makes for a wonderful read. This is the 3rd book in the series but no worries, yes the main characters from the other 2 booms are included in this one, but you will be able to follow the story line with no problems. You do not have to be too familiar with Hockey or even ice skating to enjoy this book.

I was able to read this in a day. I just couldn’t put it down! The development of the story is so natural and realistic you can’t help but be sucked in and held there. The scenes are hot but not too detailed and drawn out. I absolutely loved the character development and relationship development between the main characters and everyone around them. Would highly recommend.
This book is a great sports romance story with a enemies-to-lovers theme. The players had an interesting history which coloured their first few interactions and set the tone for the entertaining story we got. It is quite a slow burn story but for me, that just gave us more time to get to know the characters and love them for who they are. The book is a well written story that is a great mix of good story-telling, romance and spice. This is the first book that I had read by this author and it can definitely be read as a standalone. Having read this book however, I know I will be going back to read the others because I enjoyed this one so much. This is a great book and I am excited to read more.

Dirty Heartbreaker is book three in the Hamilton Steelhawks series. I would recommend reading this series in order because some of the characters were in the previous books and it makes for a better reading experience overall. I couldn’t put this one down. Dirty Heartbreaker is book three in the Hamilton Steelhawks Series. You CAN read this as a stand alone (that’s what I originally did), but I honestly suggest starting at the beginning and grabbing them all in order. I can’t wait to read the others myself. This type of Sports Romance isn’t new to me, but I don’t know much about hokey or skating. That didn’t cause any problems for me though. I really enjoyed the love hate relationship between the characters. This book in the series is about Colby and Gabriella’s entanglement and boy oh boy is it a sizzling story. Gabby’s best friend is getting married. She is maid of honor and is helping not only with the wedding, but also making the wedding gown. She’s a former ice skater turned business women. She is determined to make her friend’s wedding the best it can be with the least about of issues possible. Only issue there is that the groom’s best man also happens to be a hockey player that she’s hooked up with in the past. He ignites her at every turn. She has to stay away from him, but how when they have to help with the wedding. Thrust together for wedding prep has them all hot and bothered and of course fighting with sparks flying everywhere. Can these to be adults, put their differences aside, and put their friends big day first? Or will they ruin it all igniting the fires within them both. You have got to try this one out if you like romances. If you aren’t sure because it’s a sports romance let me tell you!! Put that aside and try it out anyways! You will be so glad that you did! This book was cute, steamy, funny, and of course bursting with romance. Don’t let the sport scare you off!! I’d definitely recommend this book to romance lovers of all kinds!

Dirty Heartbreaker is book three in the Hamilton Steelhawks series. Let me tell you once i started i could not stop. I am late to this series, but I was able to follow along but some of the characters i was reading about are from previous books so I would recommend starting from the beginning. This book from the start pulled me in i loved the characters especially Colby. In book three we Follow the journey between Colby and Gabriella and it’s a whirl wind of adventures. I liked that i couldn’t predict what was going to happen with them next. If you are into Contemporary romance or even sports romance, you will love this series i highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more books in this series and even more books by this author. @stephaniedulac25

I enjoyed reading this romance story. I enjoyed how the author pulled me into the story from the beginning. This is a well written story about what happens when a best man and a maid of honor need to work together to make sure a wedding comes off without a hitch. What they don’t expect is their attraction to each other. Gabriella and Colby are great characters that you don’t want to miss what happens between them. I enjoyed watching their growth and chemistry throughout the story. They are strong characters that have a strong attraction which adds to the story. They are relatable and had me coming back for more. This is a fast paced, hard to put down, easy to read story. I really enjoyed reading this book for sure. I highly recommend this book

This was quite the enjoyable lovers to enemies to lovers. A hot one-nighter to lovers after being best people at their friends wedding. I loved the flirty snark in this relationship. Being a snarky one myself, it is so much fun to watch people hide their attraction behind it. You can feel their chemistry as they try to hid the way they feel. I loved the interactions with the teammates and how they had to deal with their friends wedding. Drama, action, steamy romance make for a fun read. It’s definitely a sport romance. I love some of these hockey romances. They are really qyite entertaining. I definitely recommend this one.

Dirty Heartbreaker is the third book in the Hamilton Steelhawks Series and is a Contemporary Romance/ Sports Romance that I truly enjoyed reading. I’m fairly new to these authors but like there style of writing and attention to detail This series focuses on different players from Steelhawks Hockey team. This is Colby and Gabriella’s story. He’s a shoot and score kinda guy on and off the ice. But when he’s asked to be best man for one of his teammates he realizes that means having to put up with one person he can’t stop fantasizing about. She’s a former figure ice skater who is now a business women she’s bound and determined to see that her best friends wedding goes on without any issues. One problem she has to put up with the one person who not only gets her worked up but ignites a fire in her. These two definitely have chemistry between them in the bedroom. Can these two have a relationship? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. If you like Sports Romance then this series is definitely for you.

Dirty Heartbreaker is the fun third instalment of the Hamilton Steelhawks series by A C Sheppard. This is my first time reading anything by these authors and it was an enjoyable read. The series focuses on the members of the Hamilton Steelhawks an ice hockey sports series. Opposites attract, enemies to lover’s trope with this tale. They say there is a fine line between hate and love and in this story that seems to be true. It’s fun to see the sass, the bite and the snarky banter between these two. This is Colby and Gabriella’s story. Journey along as we watch these two fight their way to happiness or do they. Dirty Heartbreaker is one for sports lovers. I look forward to seeing what else this writing duo come up with.

I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down! If you are looking for a romantic slow-burn with extra *spice* then this is the book for you. Colby and Gabby’s story is so well done and you will want to throttle both of them throughout the story but there is an HEA. Sheppard’s character development and plot progression is amazing and will have you rooting for the characters even if they drive you insane. This is book 3 of 3 in the Hamilton Steelhawks series; however, you can totally read it (and any of them) as standalones. Another aspect I really appreciate when authors do is when you get to see how the other characters from previous books are doing. We get updates on Addie and Max from Book 1 and Jayden and Cait from Book 2. If you are into sports romances this is the book for you. And if you aren’t…then you haven’t found the right one yet and HERE IT IS! Definitely pick this up today, you won’t regret it because this has it all…hockey, forced proximity, HEA, enemies-to-lovers (kind of), and so much more. Reviewed by @meggs1717

Paired together on a project, Callahan is determined to prove to Jamaica that he is not the “dumb jock” she thinks he is. This is a fun sports romance with characters that are easy to love. I’m excited to see what else this sports world brings.
