HER DARK LOVE (DARK SPELL SERIES Book 4) by ISRA SRAVENHEART – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Her Dark Love (Dark Spell #4)Her Dark Love by Isra Sravenheart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

HER DARK LOVE (DARK SPELL SERIES Book 4) by ISRA SRAVENHEART was a fantastic installment to this series. If you have read this whole series then this book really ties it all together, book 4 takes us back to the beginning of Isra’s story and gives us so many great details on how she got on this dark path. Once again Ms. Sravenheart gives us a fantastic plot, with a fairytale feel, drama, witches, betrayal, romance, and so much more. While most “fairytale” books focus on the hero Ms. Sravenheart focuses on the villain giving us a incredible and refreshing series.

Hanging Softly in the Night: A Detective Nick Larson Novel by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Hanging Softly in The Night: A Detective Nick Larson NovelHanging Softly in The Night: A Detective Nick Larson Novel by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hanging Softly in the Night: A Detective Nick Larson Novel by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra was a very interesting read for me, while police procedurals are not normally my thing I found the synopsis of this pulling me in. Hanging Softly in the Night is so full of tension, drama, mystery, and more that will have any interested reader glued to the edge of their seats. While this is my first read by this author I must say that I will be reading more thanks to her interesting plot, terrific characters, and how fast paced it all comes together. But probably the thing I loved the most is that she put so much effort into making this procedural as real as possible. So if your looking for a great read this weekend then I highly recommend Hanging Softly in the Night: A Detective Nick Larson Novel by Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra.

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Hold Me ForeverHold Me Forever by Lea Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN is just as fantastic as the first two in this series. Having read the previous two installments I had high expectations for this book and Ms. Nolan did not disappoint, I was so enthralled in book three that I quickly devoured it in one sitting without meaning to. This romance has everything that a reader can hope for including a small town, second chances, great main characters, and plenty of romance, drama and more. Personally I’m hoping this isn’t the last we see of Haron Harbor, because this reader for one definitely wants more.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Jake the Growling Dog Shares His Trail (Jake the Growling Dog Book 3) by Samantha Shannon is just as wonderful as the first two installments in this series. Ms. Shannon gives us adorable fluffy characters that you can’t help but fall in love with alone with a fun and entertaining story for all ages. The animal illustrations are simply adorable and will leave you wishing you could just pet every character and give them lots of treats and love, while the scenery illustrations are beautiful and breathtaking. Not only are these books super adorable and enjoyable but my five year old daughter loves them and can’t wait for the next Jake story.

Hairballs and Homicide (Kitty Beret Café Mysteries Book 1) by Ruth J. Hartman – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Hairballs and HomicideHairballs and Homicide by Ruth J. Hartman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hairballs and Homicide (Kitty Beret Café Mysteries Book 1) by Ruth J. Hartman is probably one of the most interesting books that I have read in a long time. When I first read the blurb about this book being the cat love that I am, I just knew that I had to read it right away. Ms. Hartman did not disappoint not only did she give us an enticing mystery with clues that had us furiously flipping the pages to see what would happen next but she gave us so many imaginative cute and cuddly kitties, amazing main characters, and a suspenseful mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat. Her writing flows well, although I did find a few typos but nothing that bothered this reader. So if your looking for a fun mystery this week I highly recommend Hairballs and Homicide (Kitty Beret Café Mysteries Book 1) by Ruth J. Hartman.

Sinful Daughter (Dark Mafia Sins Book 1) by Emily Bowie – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Sinful DaughterSinful Daughter by Emily Bowie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sinful Daughter (Dark Mafia Sins Book 1) by Emily Bowie was just simply amazing. Personally I love a good mafia romance novel but Ms. Bowie really kept me on my toes with this one. Her characters are so enticing that I found myself furiously flipping the pages to see what came next. While Ms. Bowie makes us easily believe that our female lead is shy, she is really strong and independent and knows exactly what she wants. Meanwhile our male lead leads us to believe that he’s a bill headed man, but he’s really a soft teddy bear under that rough exterior. Ms. Bowie not only gave us fantastic characters but also a terrific plot that keeps us interested until the very end.

An Enduring LoveAn Enduring Love by Wareeze Woodson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

An Enduring Love by Wareeze Woodson was a first time read for me by Ms. Woodson. While this genre is not normally my thing, I took a chance and dived right in with this novel. While I feel the beginning was slow to grab my interest Ms. Woodson did give us wonderful characters and an interesting take on a newlywed romance. But while the story abs characters interested me, I found myself struggling with some of the characters characteristics. But all and all I was an interesting read.

AWAKENING THE GODS (RISE OF THE CELTIC GODS) by KRISTIN GLEESON – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Awakening the Gods (Rise of the Celtic Gods #1)Awakening the Gods by Kristin Gleeson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

AWAKENING THE GODS (RISE OF THE CELTIC GODS) by KRISTIN GLEESON was an amazing first time read for me. While I normally read more action packed, or drama filled stories, this beautifully written fantasy was a great change of pace. Ms. Gleason really gives us beautiful details all the way from the details in the characters looks, their surroundings, the sounds they heard, and every little day to day activity. With how much thought she put in to all the details of this short book it was easy to picture exactly what Ms. Gleeson wants us to. I personally look forward to reading more by Ms. Gleeson and I hope to read more about these characters.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Master Tuscano (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) by Sylvia Black was even better then book 1 in this series. Once again ms. Black takes us into a world that is the most perfect combination of human and vampire and makes us fall in love with her characters all over again. Once again this book is full of drama, romance, and several erotic scenes that will make you devour this short novella in one sitting. After reading book one in this series I knew I would love book two from start to finish and I was definitely right about that. Personally after finishing book one and book two I can’t wait for book three.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Master Descallia (Masters of the Consulate Book 1) by Sylvia Black is one of the most amazing novella’s I have ever read. When I first saw the cover of this book the colors and the font of the title drew me right away, combine that with the blurb I read about it and I just new I had to read this book. Ms. Black gives us amazing characters, great scenery, and a story that will have you on the edge of your seat from chapter one. While this book is twenty-five chapters the story itself is so full of drama, suspense, and add in some erotic scenes and you won’t be able to put it down.

Drifting, Falling -- Diary of a Call Girl SuicideDrifting, Falling — Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Drifting, Falling: Diary of a Call Girl Suicide by A.J. Ullman is so detailed and full of haunting thoughts that I had to wait to review it. While this is not a book that I would normally read the cover and the blurb of this particular story in intrigued me. While this story was way darker then what I normally read, it was a very intriguing and interesting take. Ripley’s story is dark, haunting, tragic, and sad. But reading her story through the perspective of her journal was just the cherry on the cake. So if you have thought about reading this to get a new perspective on how all of the Ripley’s feel then you should pick up a copy today.

Avenging Devil Part 2: Satan's Devils MC San DiegoAvenging Devil Part 2: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Let me just start by saying that waiting for part two of Avenging Devil was well worth the wait. Once again Ms. Mellett brings us right back to her great characters, her wonderful plot, and the drama of it all without missing a beat. Leaving us on the edge of our seats with the ending of part one she definitely delivered with part two. But this book has it all including angst, heart wrenching drama, romance and more and if you haven’t read part 1 then you definitely need to read them both immediately. Avenging Devil part 2 is one of the best books I have personally read in 2021.

Finding It All (Finding Happiness In Harmony Book 1)Finding It All by Stacey Komosinski
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finding It All was a brilliant, well written novel including many of my favorite things including friendship, drama, romance and more. Ms. Komosinski provides us with a great plot line, incredible characters, and an over all story that draws you from the very beginning. When I first saw this cover I was immediately drawn in and couldn’t wait to read this novel. Chloe, Jess, and Gabby are all really relatable characters that I would personally love to hang out with in real life, and the way their stories play out really make it seem like they are real life people. So if your looking for an incredible new book to read then I highly recommend this one.

FURY OF CONVICTION (The Dragonfury Series Book 2) by Coreene Callahan – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Fury of Conviction (Dragonfury Short Story Collection, #2)Fury of Conviction by Coreene Callahan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fury of Conviction is a great short paranormal romance filled with dragon shifters, kidnapping, drama, fantasy, and so much more. While I love a good novella as much as the next person my only disappointment in this book is I wish it was longer. Ms. Callahan put so much into this novella that I found myself getting lost in the pages and before I knew it the book was over. Her writing is creative and beautiful, with wonderful characters, a terrific plot line, and an overall story that I just didn’t want to end. I will definitely be looking for more from Ms. Callahan and I personally recommend you pick up a copy of Fury of Conviction immediately.

Hawke (Men of Syn, #1)Hawke by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hawke by Anise Storm was a very interesting read for me, while I don’t normally read things this dark it wasn’t quite dark enough for me to consider it a dark romance. Instead I would categorize it as a suspenseful romance. While this is my first read by Ms. Storm I wasn’t sure what I was in for by the front cover alone had me ready to dive in. While the BDSM scenes are a little serious for my taste it was still a fantastic read with great characters, plot, and writing and I look forward to my next read from Ms. Storm.

When I first saw the cover for The Forsaken: Wraith by Martin Ferguson I knew I had to read it. Personally I love fantasy and this cover alone drew me right in, and the synopsis just added to the thrill of wanting to read it. While I have read a lot of fantasy novels in my lifetime but this one was one of my personal favorites, there was so much adventure, great characters, and a fantastic plot line. I was so captivated by the fine details, the journey that the main character goes on and just the overall plot of the story that I just couldn’t put it down. Cursed Touch (Broderick Coven Series Book 4) by AJ Renee – Review by Stephanie Nicole

Cursed Touch (Broderick Coven, #4)Cursed Touch by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cursed Touch is book four in the Broderick Coven series and Ms. Renee has outdone herself. Her writing per usual flows smoothly and beautifully, and her plot line flows just as wonderfully. As usual her characters are delightful and between them and her plot I was hooked from the first chapter. While this was a great read I personally think it was too short, but still an amazing read none the less. Even though this is a paranormal romance you find yourself relating to the characters and their day to day lives. Ms. Renee seems to be able to pull her readers in from chapter one and make them not want to put this book down until they have devoured it in one sitting. So if your looking for a fast and easy paranormal romance to read this weekend then I highly recommend Cursed Touch by A.J. Renee.

Toni Denise gives us a great novel in Out of Time. This book is the fourth in its series and while I have not read the previous three this one was easy to follow, the characters where wonderful, and the plot was so thrilling that I couldn’t put it down. Her story is filled with suspense, drama, love, and so much more that I devoured the book in one sitting. Ms. Denise gives us such great characters in Jessica, Will and her other characters that I plan on going back and reading the first three. Personally I hope that Ms. Denise isn’t done with this series as I can’t wait to see what she does with these characters next.

Once again R. Weir has written a brilliant suspense story with Mann in the Crossfire. His plot is fast paced and includes perfectly placed clues, complex characters, and so much suspense that you’ll be reading it in one sitting. While Mann in the Crossfire is part of a series Mr. Weir has done a wonderful job writing them to where they can be read as a stand alone. While I have read quite a few of Mr. Weir’s novels I have to say this series is one of my favorites and I have to wonder if this eighth installment is the end for Mann. Personally I hope Mr. Weir continues this series.

Ms. Hamilton provides us with so much in this intricate story including plenty of suspense, mystery, danger and more. While all of Ms. Hamiltons books can be read as stand alones I don’t personally recommend it because you’ll miss out on a lot of action. Ms. Hamilton gives us clever characters, mysteries that leave us furiously flipping the pages, and so much suspense that we’re on the edge of our seats. So if you want a good sneaky and clever mystery then I highly recommend Houses of Deception.

Snowflakes and Holly (Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawson is the best installment yet. This is personally my favorite installment yet, maybe it’s because I love Christmas and Winter, or maybe it was just the characters, but once again Ms. Dawson made me love her story. So whether you love small towns, relatable characters, or romance I highly recommend Snowflakes and Holly (Hartwood Holiday Romance) by Jae Dawson.

Heartbeats and Roses is the second installment to the Hartwood Falls series and oh my goodness is was just as good as the first. Personally I love the way that Ms. Dawson sucks you right into this little town, it makes it feel like home and the perfect get away from reality. There is so much in this second installment including childhood love interests, heartbreak, drama, and so much more that made me love this book. While you do not need to read these in order, I recommend both books due to the fact that ms. Dawson’s writing and characters are just all so wonderful. While most Valentine’s Day stories are right on the nose, Ms. Dawson takes us on some ups and downs that we won’t forget.

When I first saw books being written for every season, with each season having its own personalized romance I couldn’t wait to get started. Moonlight and Belladonna by Jae Dawson did not disappoint. Ms. Dawson not only gives us beautiful scenery, but a lovely romantic musical couple as well. Their story is far from perfect, it’s complicated and a little messy like any relationship but that makes it all the note relatable. There was beautiful writing, flirty characters, and some sweet and sexy scenes, all of these combined make up the perfect romance. I know I for one will be picking up the next book.

The Dream Catchers (Prestoria) by J. U. Menon is everything that I hoped for. J.U. Menon transfers from reality to dreams so flawlessly that you’ll find yourself quickly flipping the pages to see what happens next. Her characters are fabulous and she fills her pages with imagination, beauty, loyalty, bravery, and more. This book caught my attention right away with its cover and synopsis and once I started the book I couldn’t put it down. Part of what I love about books is being able to get lost in the pages and J. U. Menon definitely dragged me into her world and left me wanting more.
