I am obsessed with the Antipodes series and its ability to make you think about the important questions in life. If you had the opportunity to start over, would you? I couldn’t help but put myself in Cam’s shoes and relate to his character and emotions. T.S. Simons writes with such emotion it pulls you right in. If you love any sort of dystopian sci-fi you will absolutely love this series. It is delightfully unpredictable and deep. This installment, book two The Liminal space, has such a great and seamless flow from book one. I can’t wait to read the next book in this fantastic series, Ouroboros!

The events of the past few years made me a little reluctant to start reading Antipodes. However, I’m extremely glad that I did. T. S. Simons delivers a vast array of characters across many settings and communities as well as great world building in the first book of the Antipodes Series. Lots of character introductions take place in this first book, including Cam, Freya, Lae, and more. This dystopian romance really made me think about everything. If the world were to be threatened, how would humans react? How would we ensure the survival of the human race? Would we create some kind of completely new system or are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past? There was a lot of information in this book, but I didn’t feel like it was too overwhelming or difficult to follow and understand. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!

This book was an interesting continuation of the series. There are plot twists, people were reunited, and secrets were uncovered. Cam and Freyja are thrusts back together as they reunite to fight for what they care about. Read this book if you like adventures, strategy, and strained friendships.

The 45th Parallel is from the viewpoint of Freyja and Cam’s daughter, Caitlin. She is about to turn 21 and has a knack for mischief with her sister Seraphine. They are both special children with the ability to survive the protozoa including the infected water. Not surprisingly they are bored with their current lives and long for adventure. They want to travel the world as their parents have. When their travels don’t go as planned they may have bitten off more than they can chew.
I enjoyed this new addition to the Antipodes Series. It is nice to learn how all the characters are doing after 14 years later. Cait’s point of view is that of a young adult trying to find her place in the world. I highly recommend reading this series!

In the second book of this series, Cam continues his adventure in his new home. After the pandemic placed the new colony on their island, Cam was able to find friendship and love where he wasn’t sure he would. Discovering that someone he cared about before this whole thing could be alive, he has to venture with the people who care about him to discover the world outside of their safe home. Read this book if you like adventure, dystopia, and living for what you care about.

Really interesting book! I’ve never read a book like this. When there is a world wide pandemic, Australia tries to prepare a contingency plan before it spreads to them. They collect highly skilled people of all backgrounds and place them in a new environment, protecting them from the pandemic. But when everything goes haywire, Cam, one of the people placed in the survival experiment, tries to keep the peace. At least he finds the people that make his adventure worth while. Read this book if you like adventure, new worlds, and building relationships.

Pick up a copy of The 45th Parallel and follow the sisters through peril. T.S. Simons does not disappoint. I loved this book just as much as the others. The characters and their feelings are relatable. You can feel right along with them and envision their struggles and journey. I highly suggest reading the other books in the series prior to reading this one, although you could probably get by with just reading this one. T.S. Simons does a good job at providing the reader with necessary information from previous installments, but you will be missing some of the backstory. The Antipodes series has an amazing storyline, full of interesting events and relatable characters. The 45th Parallel is no different. If you are looking for a story full of twists, turns, mystery, thrill, and romance, pick up a copy of Antipodes today.

Sessrumnir begins completely different from where Caim left off as it has been 7 years since then. It has been 20 years since they started living in the domes. Needless to say, a lot has changed. Freyja, Cam, and their friends and family must again set off on an adventure to save the human population. This book has the heart of the others with now much older characters. I still enjoyed this book, but I feel like it was slower paced than the rest of the series.

Caim starts with surprise visitors to Lewis, 7 years after they have disconnected the portals and declined to become part of Collective. Their Caim of Roseglen has grown considerably and they are all living their best lives. The visitors bring two little girls that have striking features extremely similar to Freyjas’ own daughters. Thus, it is discovered that genetic material from Kat (Freyjas’ sister) has been used to create children. Of course, their group must journey to find out the whole truth. Freyja is still the first-person viewpoint that we follow, and this makes this book even more devastating. Only wait until you find out who the father is and that those two girls are not all the surprises in store. The ending of this book expertly led up to an extremely surprising conclusion.

Ourobororos starts with Cam needing to be alone with his loss of Lae. Cam sets off on a journey to discover more about Lae’s past to be able to share Lae with their son, Louis. Freyja comes looking for Cam to potentially be able to rekindle their relationship. The viewpoint switches to Freyja and we get to experience what she went through in Antipodes and Liminal Space. Her viewpoint is extremely refreshing and brings new life to the series! The stakes are higher than ever when the true reason why they get selected is revealed! This ending is the most closed in the whole series but is still open for mystery, I still needed to know what was going to happen next. Again, I love this series so much and this book is one of my favorites!

Liminal Space starts by filling in the gaps of Cams journey back to Lewis. Freyja comes to Lewis Island and Cam must face his past. They find out about more communities of survivors where potentially one of his family members could be alive.
The true meaning of Liminal Space is discussed and felt by the reader. It is the space in-between major life events, which are often tragic, to move you to the next part of your life. August Island was Cams Liminal Space.
I could not put this book down! It is truly a heartwarming story about the survival of humanity. Be warned this book broke my heart and then started mending the wounds again. Now for the next book, Ouroboros!

Just when I thought it was over here comes book 6 and boy what a way to rebirth the series. I like how the author is yet again filled the characters with charisma. I love the chemistry between them. I am super excited to see just where this will lead.
There is truely a lovely balance of adventure,drama, and romance. I also like how the world is developing and the characters as well. I still feel so drawn into this series and I cannot wait to read what comes next.

Again we got to a point where the characters were feeling safe and bam. This author really knows how to get the twists and turns into her stories. I love how the characters develope and mature and how the drama isn’t overwhelmed by romance. The balance really is just right. By now though I am really amazed I was drawn into a dypstopian world and I really cannot put this book down.
I really started to feel the loss along with the characters and really wanted to have a happy ever after but not knowing if it would be. I found that the author was able to redevelop the world and create an even more challenging one. I really couldnt put it down and needed to see how it all would end.

Just when you think it is all safe and secure bam. Well this fourth book realy sort of throws a curveball at the characters. As with the past three books in the series they handle it with all the charisma and grace you expect. I realy like how the author draws out the series and uses twists and turns. This fourth book really drew me in.
The characters are drawn into a bit of a web and I love how the author is able to balance the romance and the drama whilst leading the reader through the story. I cannot say enough how I really felt as though I was right beside the characters. I truly got swept up in this world and could really feel how important the lessons the character’s learnt were.

This third book really starts to cement the series and there is a truely clearer picture as to what the author is trying to put across. There is a lot of chemistry between the characters and the scary reality of their world brings a lot into question. I really couldn’t put this book down either.
I was so amazed when I got lost in this dystopian world. The romance and drama and adventure are well balanced. The author really has a entwined this series nicely. The books have a real flow and as with the first two I cannot wait to read the next one. I am excited to see how all the drama will unfold.

I love this series! This is the 6th book in the Antipodes series. I highly recommend reading the others, first. This would be a fine read by itself, but the entire experience is the recommended experience. Caitlin and Seraphine are sick and tired of doing whatever it is that they are told, and long to branch out and see different places, and do different things. They long to make their own decisions about their lives, so they set out on a journey that will challenge them. There is action, emotion, and great characters and development. This dystopian sci-fi adventure is not unimaginable in this day-and-age. It kept me glued to my seat and turning those pages! If you haven’t read any of this series, be prepared to dive in and spend some time. 5 stars.

The second book developes the story line further and we begin to see just what kind of world it is. The characters still have the chemistry and that also adds to the story. I like how the author begins to create the world even further and brings the reader into it.
There are beginning to have more twists and turns as the story progresses. The author does a wonderful job of creating a very colorfull world and characters. There is also a undertone of the story base and I this really had me not wanting to put this book down. I began to get a clearer thought process of this series. I really look forward to the next one.

I have to say I like to find new authors and I enjoy finding series that are not always in my go to genre. I do like the romance element of this series and the whole setting of the series really was well written and I for one felt as though I was right in the midst of it. I have not really read a lot of dystopian books but I was drawn into this one.
I like how the author builds the characters and how the story is carried out. The chemistry between what becomes the lead characters really adds to the story. The author does a great job of balancing the drama and the romance. The author does a great job of building the characters and showing why they are how they are. I thought that this first book was an excellent start to the series and I couldn’t wait to get to the next one.

Antipodes is an amazing start to the series! The beginning gives you a sense of normality before the apparent problem of the water supply appears. It reminded me of COVID-19 when the first outbreak happened; I didn’t believe it would affect the United States, and I wasn’t worried about it until it hit close to home. In the beginning, Cam is the same way he doesn’t believe that it would be able to hit Australia. When the government sends out a text for testing, he ends up getting his ticket to an island to live in a safe new community with 300 strangers. It was an extremely challenging decision to leave his family and friends behind and there are many topics touched on including survivors’ guilt. I found the premise to be believable and the setup of the island detailed enough, including the issue of being completely self-sustaining. I was able to put myself in Cam’s shoes easily and it make me think about how I could potentially survive.
I didn’t think the book could get any better at this point but when his world turns upside down it changes everything. It sends him into an even greater adventure in this new post-apocalyptic world. The ending is amazing but felt a little rushed. The next book, The Liminal Space fills in all the missing details nicely.

Caim is set in a few years later timeframe from the third book. This book flows pretty easily just like the others. I love how the characters support each other like an extended family. I especially like how the characters are interwoven with each other, and how their experiences relate to other characters. Some of the events in this book are unexpected but makes for a really intense read.
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes Series. This book follows many of the children of the individuals from the first five books in the series, but the main focus is on Caitlin and Seraphine. They were born with a specific goal in mind of repopulating the community and keep it immune from disease. Cait and Sera have been told all of their lives that is their destiny to do so but they want more from life than to breed and populate the community. They want adventure and choose to reactivate the Nexus in search of new communities and to see what else is out there. In doing so they get more than they bargained for and are suddenly swept up in events beyond their wildest imagination.
Cait and Sera find themselves in an underwater community where strict rules are in place to prevent overpopulation. The community is ruled with an iron fist and outsiders are forbidden. Cait and Sera do their best to remain hidden until they are able to travel back but one small mistake ends with them getting caught. Will they be able to escape back to the safety of their own community before it is too late?
This book was fantastic and I enjoyed how the author chose to tell the story of the children from the inhabitants of the community of Lewis. The characters were lovable, and the setting was an interesting spin to the story. Cait and Sera were strong willed, independent, feisty, and smart young ladies. All traits that they clearly inherited from their parents. The underwater community was a fascinating aspect to the story, and I enjoyed reading about how it worked. This entire series is a must read and I highly recommend it! You will find mystery, action, suspense, intrigue, love, romance, loss, and even murder. I highly recommend!

The residents of Lewis must do whatever they can to save the lives of their children after they receive some terrifying news. It is up to Illyria and Freyja to figure out who or what is threatening to destroy them and all they hold dear to them. Joining forces with both old and new friends they must eliminate the threat before it eliminates them. Will they be able to save the lives of their children in time?
This series has had me hooked from the first book and it just keeps getting better and better. Cam, Freyja, and the residents of Lewis have all become like family to me and I have become heavily invested in their lives. I have watched them grow older and wiser. I have been there with them and experienced the ups and downs with them. I have felt the sadness through the deaths of loved ones and the joy at the births and new beginnings. I have experienced a rollercoaster ride of emotions as the characters deal with some unimaginably difficult situations. Yet, throughout it all they overcome adversity, and fight through all of their difficulties becoming stronger for them. Through it all the importance of the love of family has been the focus and of never giving up hope through the darkest of times.
This book was beautifully written, as were all the books in the series. The characters were relatable and the issues they experienced were ones that I feel many of us can relate to. The author draws the reader into the story, and you can picture yourself there with them in that time and place. You feel each emotion as much as the characters do and root for them each step of the way. This is a series that will be worth reading time and time again. I cannot begin to say enough good things about this series! I highly recommend!

Freyja and Cam are blissfully happy with their lives in their community of Lewis. After all the hardships they have experienced through the years they finally feel safe and secure. Their community is sustainable and they have forged some valuable friendships. Life is peaceful until some individuals from their past arrive unexpectedly and bring with them some horrific news. Freyja feels compelled to get answers and heads out on a quest to find them.
This book was a bit darker than the first few books and really digs into the diabolical plans that the scientists had for them and the reasons why they were chosen. Cam and Freyja face some horrific and terrifying adventures throughout their journey that really tests their courage and perseverance. This one is told from Freyja’s point of view and it really opens up the reader’s eyes on who Freyja is and how courageous she is. She is a strong female role model and I admired her strength, courage, and resilience through the most difficult of hardships. Cam and Freyja make a remarkable power couple as they build each other up and are there to lean on one another through the hard times. Nothing can stop them when they are together and are a force to be reckoned with. A must read!

In Book 3 of The Antipodes Series things become intense for Cam and everything he values is put at risk. Freyja is not only back in his life but they have been thrown together in the hopes that together they can save everything they hold dear to them. Cam is still reeling from the loss of his one true love and his on his own journey to discover who she was and where she came from. Now he is tasked with facing the feelings he has kept suppressed for his first love Freyja when they join forces to save their community.
Along their journey Cam and Freyja make some horrifying discoveries about the truth of their community and why they were chosen to rebuild. As secrets are revealed and the truth comes to light, they are shocked at what they learn. The real reasons each of them was chosen were purely evil and were part of a much more sinister plan. The survivors are now pitted against each other, communities are divided, and friendships are tested as they decide what to do.
This series has captured my attention from the first book and it has been impossible to put down. The storyline is brilliant and as the story unfolds it becomes more intense. There have been some twists and turns that I did not see coming. Freyja returning came as a surprise to not only me as the reader, but to Cam as well. He had suppressed his feelings for her so long that it was eating him up inside. I was surprised that Freyja had been pining away for him and that she had not moved on with her own life. Her love for Cam almost came across as obsession, in a way. In other ways, it was sappy and romantic and you could not help but feel sad for her that she had still loved Cam after all that time apart. The revelation behind the real reasons each of the individuals was chosen was mind blowing! A must read!

Book 2 in The Antipodes Series picks up where the first book left off and continues with Cam’s journey. He is now living in the community of Lewis where he has been accepted and where he feels at home. He loves his community and has not only made some strong friendships, but he has found love again. Although still in love with Freyja, Cam knows that she is never coming back and it is best that he move on with his life. Then Cam’s world is turned upside down when he makes the startling discovery that someone, he loves dearly may not be dead as he had thought. He sets out on another journey and along the way he makes some startling revelations. Cam is overjoyed with the news of the loved one still being alive but is conflicted when someone else from his past also suddenly resurfaces. After finally coming to terms with his feelings and letting go of the past he is faced with some very difficult decisions and must navigate through the conflicting emotions of joy, grief, anger, betrayal, loss, and hurt simultaneously. Any decision Cam makes has a devastating outcome for those he loves dearly.
Book Two was amazing and we really got to see Cam grow as a person. The hard work of rebuilding and making a community flourish have made Cam wiser and stronger as a person. I enjoyed reading about his journey as told from his point of view. Laetitia is a truly beautiful person both inside and out and it is easy to see why Cam fell in love with her. I enjoyed reading about the portals and was fascinated by how they worked. I highly recommend this book! Now please excuse me, while I anxiously read Book 3 to see what happens to Cam next!

The world’s water supply has been contaminated by a deadly virus and it is rapidly killing people all over the world. Australian scientists decide to select a group of individuals within a specific age range, and with very specific skills, to live in on an island in a domed community. The young people are put through rigorous testing prior to being chosen because the intention is for them to save and rebuild the human population.
Cam is one of the young people who has been chosen for this important task and he must make the difficult decision to leave his parents and his sister behind. Cam finds himself settling into a routine on the island and even finds love in a girl named Freyja. However, when Freyja disappears Cam finds himself lonely and at a loss. He sets out to find Freyja and makes some startling discoveries along the way. In his journey he finds similar communities and forms new friendships. However, in doing so, Cam is forced with making a difficult decision that could change his entire life.
I loved this book and was invested from the first few pages. I was fascinated with the idea of the pandemic that was wiping out the world’s population and how the author had come up with creative solutions for the characters to rebuild. Cam was smart, tough, and unafraid to back down from a challenge. As the story unfolds Cam really grows as a person due to all the hardships and challenges, he faces along the way. I highly recommend!

I was super excited with book #6 in this series….it is a fantastic set and I highly recommend reading this series right from the beginning. This book continues the story and pick up with Caitlin and Seraphine, whom was adventure and excitement in life.
Caitlin and Seraphine are more groomed to have a specific role…that role is to populate the community especially to help with immunities from diseases. The ladies want more than this in their life. When they decide that there is more and want adventure, the decision to reactive the Nexus laid before them bring them into a whirlwind of danger, drama and some romance…..this had me at the edge of seat to what happens next!!
I love this series and I know I am already looking forward to more more more of this series!! So well done!!!

Ouroboros is a very good read. I love how all the characters grow from how they were when they first met in the first and second book to how they are now. The author did a really great job in how the characters can relate to each other even though they all have different backgrounds. There are a few plot twists that one would never think of happening which makes for an interesting read.

The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes series. I would highly recommend starting at the first book in the series (Antipodes) and reading in order to get to know the large cast of characters and vast setting that has built up by this point in the series. The Antipodes series is post-apocalyptic, set after a virus has made most of the surface of the planet uninhabitable. The protagonists of this book, Caitlin and Seraphine, are part of the next generation after the disaster who were created to be immune, and therefore more able to survive on the surface of the planet. It is expected that they will both have children, passing on their immunity to the next generation. But neither of them is keen to settle down, they are easily bored and always in search of their next adventure. This is a fun continuation of the series! It’s good seeing the next generation of characters coming of age, with the older characters who were the focus of earlier books now viewed from a different angle. Cait and Sera are enjoyable characters – young and dissatisfied with the world they’re inheriting, but also caring for others and trying to make a positive impact. This book gets five stars from me. I’d definitely recommend this series to fans of post-apocalyptic sci-fi!

This is book 6 in the antipodes series. It also stands well on it’s own. The journey of Caitlin and Seraphine is filled with danger, conflict and love as well as secrets that will be revealed. I appreciated the angst of becoming your own person while struggling to put the community first. It made the characters seem more alive on the page. The traveling to places unknown to the characters felt like a crazy adventure! Review by @bilberrysweet
