Another action packed book in the Fated Series. Trinity has to take extreme measures to set Blain free. Now she has to face Cronus and dealing with gods is always tricky business. They never fight fair and it may cost Trinity her life. She’s decided that no cost is too high to save the other half of her soul.

This is a truly fascinating series and being the third book, I’m sad to see it end. It had action, drama, magic and intrigue. It had gods and goddesses based on Greek mythology, which I love. The characters were well developed and evolved with every book as did the plot. I not only enjoyed the main characters but the secondary ones as well. Maybe we’ll be able to see some stories involving some of the other watchers or demi gods? All in all, this was a fantastic series, one I highly recommend reading.

By Angela McPherson

I have loved this series from the beginning and this final book was no exception. This story has everything in you want in a good fantasy, there’s action, magic, suspense, romance, and so much more. This book had me on the edge of my seat through most of the story. I cannot get enough of Trinity and Blain, I am so sad to see it come to an end. The author did an amazing job really connecting you to the story so that you feel invested as these characters grew and wrapped it up nicely. You really need to read the first two books in this series before this one because it all comes together as your reading. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book and this series as a whole except to say that you must read it!! I highly recommend this book you will not be disappointed, this is a 5 star read for me!!

Hope’s Defeat is the third installment of the Fated Series by Angela McPherson. This series is one that I will read again because I am afraid, I missed something. The world that Angela McPherson has created with her stories makes me want to live in her books (I know that is not possible, but one can dream). This story has all the same elements as the first two books, paranormal. Mythology, curses, gods and goddess, and light and dark. This story is a continuation of Trinity and Blain story. Trinity is trying to help Blain get out of his situation with the dark side of the road. She is willing to give up everything and I mean EVERYTHING for him. What will Trinity have to do to get the dark side away from Blain? Enjoy the story of Hope’s Defeat. Thank you, Angela McPherson for the Fated Book series.

Hopes Defeat was a great 5 star read and the final book in The Fated series.
This series pulled me in right from the start. We have action, suspense, romance and so much more.

We continue with Blain and Trinity’s story, Blain has been infected. Trinity is trying to save him. When she finally finds someone that might be able to help she has to make a choice? Will she make the right one?

I was on an emotional rollercoaster with everything going on and on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next. There are several twist and turns. All of the secondary characters added a great element to each of the books in the series. Angela McPherson’s writing pulls you right in, you feel like your right there with the characters. I was very happy with the ending. I highly suggest reading the series from the beginning, you will understand everything so much better.

Hope’s Defeat by Angela McPherson a five-star read that will tell you the story. This is Fated book three, and each one builds on the last and grows the story. This one was the most intense of all three, as it brings us the conclusion. Trinity has blossomed as I’ve read her story, it will keep you in suspense and have your jaw dropping with wonder. There was something about Trinity that kept me reading, she has great qualities and really shows us what a great writer that Angela McPherson is.

Angela McPherson’s Hope’s Defeat is the third book of The Fated series. This stunning conclusion brings together what has occurred in the previous two books culminating Trinity’s fate. Top of the list in the teen/young adults genre.

The story Hope’s Defeat (The Fated Book 3) by Angela McPherson is a paranormal/fantasy romance book. This is a book and series that hooked me in and I couldn’t get enough of both the storyline and the characters. It has action, danger, suspense, and romance. When reading this series, it would be best to read in order as each story builds on the next. This story has darkness controlling Blain. The hopes of both himself and Trinity to lead a normal life have been shattered. Trinity is determined to free Blain and struggles to hold onto hope as she feels the weight of guilt and at times helplessness. Trinity, however, is strong, stubborn, and a fighter. Blain and Trinity share a connection, a bond. Will Trinity be able to save Blain? Will the path that she is now traveling on cost Trinity her life? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. It also has scenes that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. Some of the characters in the story have been brought forward from the first two books and others are new. I enjoyed reading the dialogue/interactions between them. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that you won’t want to put down until you finish it. The author has done a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life and taking you on a journey that you will not soon forget.

Hope’s Defeat is the thrilling conclusion (third book) to The Fated series by Angela McPherson. This book (and series) is in my top reads for this year and definitely one of my all-time favourites, ever! I adore this spellbinding fantasy- it has everything you could want in a riveting read, and if you love your fantasy/paranormal- then you are in for a real treat. The book has incredible paranormal elements, a bit of a twist on Greek Mythology, a Curse, Immortals, Gods & Goddesses, Light and dark, good vs evil, mystery, drama, destiny, action, adventure, suspense, danger, intrigue, magic, and romance- it will also keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you guessing the whole way through. This incredible story is woven around the legend of Pandora’s Box and it’s a wonderfully original and exciting read! As I said in my review of the first 2 books, this story/series definitely has a ‘Percy Jackson’ feel to it, and would definitely make a wonderful and exciting television series.
This story picks up 3 weeks after the intense events of the previous book. Trinity feels an enormous amount of guilt over what happened and blames herself. She feels like she’s let everyone down, especially Blain, as she wasn’t able to prevent what happened. But when events unfold, and Trinity is given the chance to be normal, will she take it- or embrace her fate?
GAH!!! I sooooo love this book/series soooo much. I really don’t want it to end!!! This book, being the conclusion, was the most intense and had some intense suspense and gripping action! It was also steamier than the other two books, as Trinity and Blain’s relationship matures and evolves.
The characters are really superb- so well developed and brought to ‘life’ by Ms. McPherson- they are fully realized individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. They were so believable, and continued to mature, grow and develop as the story unfolded.
I really hope that this won’t be the last that we’ll see of these wonderful characters, and that we will get to revisit them again in the future!!!
As I’ve said before- Pure perfection!!!!
I CAN NOT WAIT to see what Ms. McPherson does next!

Thank You, Ms. McPherson!!

This is the third book and continuation of Trinity and Blain’s journey. In this installment, Trinity had hopes of a future with Blain until he turns to the dark side. Now she is left to try to bring him back but it may cost her her life, her right of passage. I love her character. She is so strong, feisty and she is determined. She made me feel as if I was right with her and I felt compassion for her. I highly suggest reading this book and the previous books so you get the full enjoyment.

“Little by little, normal slipped farther away.”

“Remember, fear keeps you from being who you truly are. Embrace your fate.”

Hopes Deceit is the second book in The Fated series by Angela McPherson. This is a spellbinding fantasy, with paranormal elements, Greek Mythology, a Curse, Immortals, Light and dark, good vs evil, mystery, drama, destiny, action, adventure, suspense, danger, intrigue, magic, and some romance. This incredible story is woven around the legend of Pandora’s Box and it’s a wonderfully original and exciting read! As I said in my review of the first book, this story/series definitely has a ‘Percy Jackson’ feel to it, and would make an exciting television series.
We catch up with Trinity, Blain and the rest of the cast as the story picks up not long after the events of book one ended. They are still coming to terms with what happened and almost losing everything during their confrontation with Melia. Trinity is still adjusting to her powers. She worries that things are changing, within herself, with Blain, her family and friends. Some things come as shocking revelations, while others she’s not quite sure how to ‘fix’ it. With an evil ‘darkness’ making its presence known, Trinity will have to utilise all her training and new-found ‘power’ if they are to defeat the threat, and survive.
I absolutely love Ms. McPherson’s books, and this series has become one of my absolute favourites, ever!! From the incredible world building, to the wonderful mythology that was woven through the story- this book really gave me an exciting reading experience that I didn’t want to end. The characters are really superb- so well developed and given ‘life’ by Ms. McPherson- and were crafted into fully realised individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. Trinity learns quite a lot over the course of this story, about herself, Blain, her family, and friends- I loved seeing her continue to grow and develop as the story unfolds.
As with the first book, Ms. McPherson was so imaginative and clever in creating this plot/series- adding lots of seemingly small, intricate, and inter-connected details that built the mystery, suspense and tension of the story so incredibly well. I spent a lot of the time on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen and trying to put all the pieces together. Then there were the surprising developments and twists which added another layer of intrigue and excitement to the whole. My mind was reeling trying to predict how the story would play out! And that ending…. OMG!!!
The story is set to continue in Book #3, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!!
Pure perfection!!!!

Thank You, Ms. McPherson!!

A great read about expectations.
After the events of the previous novel, Trinity has to prove to the Watchers that she can fulfil her destiny while worrying if Blain will succumb to the darkness. At the same time Melia sends armies of Rogues to attack Trinity and her friends. Can she fulfil her destiny and restore the balance?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. A great example of building upon a sequel with new developed characters like Anna as bold and brave but kind underneath or Becky as a fun new friend.
I also loved the mix of realism with school and fantasy of the watchers and magic which was combined beautifully done. Along with fast paced action with high stakes and gripping fight action scenes for a captivating read.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel in the natural imagery with the grass lake outside the cabin as a source of calm Or the magical sense of the moon over the battle later on in the awe and majesty of nature. And the use of colour with Watchers powers and light and dark vivid and beautiful. Overall, a great read about and I would give it five stars.

Hope’s Decree was a good four star read and book one in the Fated series.

My whole freakish life I’d desperately wanted to shut out the surge of emotions I often felt from others.

This was an interesting read that peaked my interest in Greek mythology, this is out of my realm of genre but I was pleasantly surprised.

Trinity was a great character with a lot of drama and sassiness, she is a 17 year old in her senior year of high school. We get to know her group of friends and of course the snobby mean girls. I did have some LOL moments with some thoughts that Trinity would have.

There is so much action and conflict along with several twists and turns. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. It was great watching Trinity develop into a very strong person, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see where she goes from here.
Angela McPherson has done a great job of pulling you right in with her writing.

This author has well and truly captured me into this world, which is full of action, adventure, suspense, mystery, romance and fantasy. The book was filled with twists and turns throughout that had me on the edge of my seat, along with feeling all the heightened emotions, Trinity’s story is one all should follow, especially when Blain comes into her life.

The second book in the Fated series, by Angela McPherson, is Hope’s Deceit. This paranormal/fantasy romance continues with the vivid details that the author shared in the first novel of this series. Hope’s Deceit continues Trinity’s story with lots of drama, suspense, action, and of course, romance. While some mysteries are answered from questions that were created from the first novel, new ones are awakened. I really love it when I find new authors and new series. This book is a great start to this series. I really like paranormal books and with the added drama in this it makes it really grabbing. There was constant want to not put the book down.

I found Trinity to be quite relatable. The way the author brings the emotions and how a normal teen struggles with feeling normal. I was drawn to the characters in this book as the story began to unfold. The chemistry between Trinity and Blain just really adds to the story. As Trinity begins her journey that is destine for her and battles the evil I was so drawn in and the added bonus of the romance between her and Blain really hooks the reader in. I find that I really cannot wait to find out what happens next and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I I am glad to add this author to my top favorite authors.

I have read other books from this author and have never been disappointed so it was an easy choice for me to pick up and read. I love this book! When I finished reading it, I knew that I had found another series that I would love. I can’t wait to read the other two books.

I enjoy when authors are able to intertwine mythology into their storyline. This one was phenomenal! It was an original take on Pandora’s box. Trinity is a descendant of Pandora and she must learn how to wield her powers and save mankind. It’s a little much for Trinity to accept seeing as she’s just trying to get through her senior year of high school. I liked Trinity a lot. She was strong yet weak, brave and insecure. She didn’t want to cause trouble but she stood her ground and didn’t let people walk all over her. Being only seventeen, her emotions were all over the place and she was constantly changing her mind about being with Blain. It was a little frustrating.

Blain is a drop dead gorgeous guy who happens to be Trinity’s guardian. He is her protector and he has to teach her how to use her powers. You can see that he really loves her too but Blain is just as stubborn as her. Indecision between doing his duty and wanting to be with Trinity as more than her guardian. He doesn’t want her with anyone else either. This leads to some interesting scenes.

Morpheus has to be my favourite character even though he’s a bad guy. He has the dark looks that I like and he’s sarcastic and funny. There are many layers to him which I love.

This story has many twists and turns which constantly kept me on my toes. The fight scenes added fast paced action which felt like I was watching a movie. The characters were down to earth and relatable which had me cheering them on. The book was creative and kept me captivated until the very end. It doesn’t end in a cliffhanger but it is an open ending which will lead into book two. I’m very excited to read the next one in the series.

The story Hope’s Deceit (The Fated Book 2) by Angela McPherson is a YA/fantasy/romance book. It is a story that I was looking forward to reading since I finished the first book. I found myself not wanting to put it down until I had finished the last page. This story has Trinity’s 18th birthday drawing near. The danger from Mella and her Rogues is of constant concern and she must keep up her training. In this story the feelings that both Trinity and Blain feel for each other start out strong. They are constantly together. Then something changes. The connection between has been lost or stopped. What has happened? There are revelations uncovered and truths that are revealed. Questions are raised and need to be answered. Where has Mella gone to and what is she planning next? How many more abilities will Trinity manifest? Will Trinity be able to control her abilities? Will the connection between Trinity and Blain be felt by them again? If chaos breaks out who will survive? Read this book to find out. There are some twists and turns to this story. Trinity is becoming faster and stronger. With what she is going through she is one brave girl. I loved reading about her and Blain. Most of the additional characters that are in this story were brought forward from the first book. This is a series that I believe should be read in order to fully understand what is going on. Don’t miss out on the wonderful second story in this series that will have you turning pages to find out what happens next. Highly recommended story and series.

A great read about change. Trinity lives her life as a normal teenager at high school. When Blain Heros arrives in town, her whole world is turned upside down with nightmares and strange events as she is pulled into a destiny she never knew existed. As she stumbles into this new world, can she keep her normal life?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Blain doing his duty despite his feelings or Trinity standing up for herself but also admitting she needs help. Great cast of supporting characters like the supportive Keri or rebellious Candy or the sweet Trevor.
I loved the mix of realism of high school life and bullies but also fantasy with magic and empaths I also adored the use of Greek mythology with the names and history and the stars which was a lovely touch to the story
I also loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the natural imagery of the stars and the clear skies as untouched natural beauty to be adored.
The only issue I would raise was that the author used the contraction y’all a lot which felt jarring to the narrative. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

Angela McPherson’s Hope’s Decree is the first book of The Fated. This paranormal/fantasy romance was vivid in the details, from the character descriptions to the events that transpired within the novel. The story line was executed perfectly. I was pulled into the book within the first chapter. Noting that Trinity is still in high school, the author pulled those type of relationships and dynamics into the story and the interactions between characters. The story was well paced. As new characters are introduced in the story, you get a foreboding of something more to come. I like the suspense that is there making me anticipate what could come next around the corner. Hope’s Decree is book one in the Fated series by Angela McPherson. I have not read work by this author for a while and it was a fantastic break from the norm, for me. This story was well balanced, with just the right amount of suspense, paranormal activity, energy, intensity and attraction.

Trinity has the frustrating ability to hear others thoughts, which she deals with with a lot of trepidation and uncertainty. And being a relative of the ever curious Pandora, how else could she be?? The timing that allowed me to read Hope’s Decree could not have been more perfect. I was ready for a story with a difference, and I can say it was a whole lot of different wrapped in excitement and wonder.

Angela McPherson has totally blindsided me with the ingenious quality and complexity of the story and its characters. I cannot wait for more. 5 stars.

Hopes Decree is the first book in The Fated series by Angela McPherson. WOW, what a fantastic start to this new series. I was completely captivated by the story and stayed glued to the pages until I’d read every word. I can’t convey just how great this story is, I am finding it hard to do it the justice that it deserves. With fantasy, to the paranormal, this book swept me up on an adventure I won’t soon forget. This incredible story is woven around Greek Mythology, in particular, Pandora’s Box- so let’s face it, Ms. McPherson had me at the mere mention of Greek Mythology- I love everything about it!! This book definitely has a ‘Percy Jackson’ feel to it, with action, adventure, mystery, good vs evil, dark vs light, suspense, intrigue, danger, survival, other realms, romance, angst, drama, hope……. and so much more!!
Trinity Whitebone thought she was a normal girl, attending her final year in high school. Sure, she didn’t exactly ‘fit in’, but she was doing well at school, had a few good friends, and loving parents. But when she begins to experience frightening nightmares and actually ‘feel’ other people’s emotions she began to wonder how ‘normal’ she actually was. Then a sexy new student enrols at her school and a whole new world is revealed to her.
She discovers that she has a crucial part to play in saving humanity. That being related to Pandora makes her uniquely qualified for the task, and there is a lot riding on her success. The sexy new guy turns out to be a ‘Watcher’, her Guardian who’s tasked with training her and getting her ready for the battles ahead. But neither she or Blaine expected to have such a powerful connection- which adds to the drama of the story. With sinister plots against them, and large targets on their backs- what will become of them. Can they defeat the evil that is set on destroying humanity? Can they unravel it all before it’s too late?
I love Ms. McPherson’s books, but this one is my favourite of them all, so far!!
Ms. McPherson is so imaginative and clever, adding lots of small intricate and inter-connected details that built the mystery, suspense and tension of the story brilliantly. I spent a lot of the time on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen and trying to put all the pieces together. The twists and turns also added an exciting element to the story and had my mind reeling with possible scenarios!
The story was a little slow to get going in the beginning, but after a few chapters the story really took off. So, don’t be put off at the beginning, stick with it while Ms. McPherson is setting the foundations of the story- this book is well worth your time!!!!
The story is set to continue in the next book, and I can not wait to dive in!!
Spellbinding!!!!

Thank You, Ms. McPherson!!
