Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O’Flynn was a thrilling 5 star read.
You get pulled right in from the beginning at a crime scene. When Petrosky learns who’s home they are at, things seem a little off with his story. This is a dangerous man that Petrosky has dealt with previously. As they start to investigate further we get so many twists and turns you feel like your one of the detectives.
Will they solve the mystery? Was someone killed at the home?
Overall this was a great read. I really like all of the characters, they add a great element to the story. The author does a great job with her writing and you feel like you are right there with the characters. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the series so that you can get to know the character better. Witness (Volume 9 in the Ash Park novels) by Meghan O’Flynn was a really good read! This book was crime filled, exciting, suspenseful and thrilling! I’m not sure if each installment gets better or not, but each that I’ve read so far has been amazing. This installment was no different and all. It was completely enthralling, and I was captured from the first chapter. Petralsky never seems to change through each novel, and it just makes the books that much better. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and can’t wait for the next one!

Another great book to an already great series. I knew once I picked up this book I would not be able to put it down. I was on the edge of my seat through most of this story wondering what was going to happen next. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest that you read this series in order for more background information and a better overall experience. This author writes with such detail that you feel like you’re in it. If you enjoy psychological thrillers then this is a must read. There are twists and turns and just when you think you know what’s going to happen next the author takes you a different direction. I can’t say enough great things about this book. I highly recommend this book.

Witness An Ash Park Novel Volume 9 By Meghan O’Flynn ☆☆☆☆☆ This is a full length thrilling crime story. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, it is that good.Not for those under 18 due to the adult theme. While this is a standalone, I recommend you read the others in order. Detective Petrosky is back and with him comes a story of epic twist and turns. As a detective he has seen more than his share of awful crimes. To date after 9 books I have to say this is by far the most tense of them all. Family secrets can come back at you, and most times it is not what you expected. Spoilers here, I can’t give anything away.
Meghan O’Flynn has done it again. I was on the edge of my seat with this story. Her writing skills are impeccable. So clear and to the point. It is scary to think the thought she has put into words. I love this story, it was non stop action. The characters follow each book, that is why it is good to read books before this one. Meghan O’Flynn thank you for another exciting rollercoaster ride. This is one ride I didn’t want to get it off. The story is one of this authors most twisted. It filled me with sadness but it’s quite a mystery/thriller. We follow Ed Petrosky as he navigates a kidnapping gone wrong. It quickly turns into murders and cults. We get to see Shannon again but not really in the capacity I expected. A case from their past (both Ed and Shannon) can bring them together to tear them apart.
The epilogue was something I didn’t expect. I think I read it a couple times to understand it. I feel like we will be going back again to the past.

Witness is another psychological thriller in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. This book is like a Law and Order SVU episode. If you like criminal mystery books, this is the series for you. There is SO MUCH going on, its like they fell into a rabbit hole. Each level of the case that unfolds, grows deeper and deeper. It is action packed and keeps the reader hooked and wanting to know how it ends. It is written with so much vivid detail, that we can envision the characters and the story. I think this book could be read without reading the rest of the series. I have only read a couple, but I enjoy them. There is enough detail given on Petrosky’s past so we know the gist of what is going on. I was disappointed to see how much of a mess he is in this book, and to be honest, it got kind of old to hear about how much he wanted the next drink. But I guess it goes to show us how affected he is by his job and the pain from his past.

When you think its a simple Breaking and Entry call, Oh boy how wrong was Edward.
Edward has been through a lot in this series and normally I would give a brief overview of the book but too be honest I don’t know where to start or want to give anything away. This book is another winner and with characters so rich and full of flaws and angst you are in for a brilliant read. If you love the physiological aspect within a thriller then you will love this book and this series.
I love the character of Edward but please no more destruction to him, I feel like I’m going to have a breakdown for him, but with everything that happens he seems to brush himself off and carries on as a compulsion he needs to help.
This book is a well thought out, twist upon twist and turns which will have you re-reading places to make sure you have not missed any hints or major plots as this is compelling from the first word to the last. I pride myself in at least by the middle of the book having a clue who or what will happen but Ms O’Flynn you had me guessing all the way through to a god honest Oh my moment at the end. I love the way your writing is intelligent and does not pander to the audience you make us work for the conclusion which is what you want from a great thriller. Although you could read this as a stand alone I would not recommend it, there is snippets of the characters pasts which it would be better to have followed through the journey with them to understand and to be honest why would you skip some of the best thriller stories I have ever read.

Witness (Ash Park Series Book 9) by Meghan O’Flynn. This book is amazing. Each book gets better and better. Every time I read Meghan O’Flynn I have a new favorite. I’ll just say be prepared to stay up or stay put until the last page is turned because this one will not let go. This is the continuing story of Detective Edward Petrosky and his crazy life. He is still a mess but he is still amazing at his job. In this book we meet his partner Jackson and as we all know from the previous books Petrosky is a recovering alcoholic. When times are rough for him they are rough. When just a normal run of the mill breaking and entering is given to him of course its never that simple with Petrosky. This b&e leads him and his partner down a dark alley full of some of the baddest criminals he’s seen. There is evil at every turn but with Petrosky on the case my money is on him! Read this amazing dark mystery. I know you will love it!

Neil MacDonald wrote this intriguing story. It is well written and has great characters. This is not a book I would regularly read, but I gave this one a try. For me it was hard to keep track of who was lying and who was not. Which only means Neil MacDonald has done a great job with this story. This was definitely a story that intrigued me from the start and it is so packed with action, it is hard not to stay interested throughout. I wasn’t sure with the synopsis that I would connect to the characters throughout the storyline but I honestly feel as though the characters are very well developed, exceeding all expectations. I would have to admit that there were parts of the storyline where I found myself a little lost and confused. My biggest recommendation would be to enjoy this book without distraction. I have reads that I indulge in before bed, and those that need my full attention on a good day off, The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald is definitely a 3 star read for the latter!

Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) Witness is the thrilling ninth book in the Ash Park Series by Meghan O’Flynn. I know that I say this with every new release, but this series get better, and more compelling, the further we go as each new instalment manages to slightly eclipse the previous book- leading me on an gripping, intense, and unpredictable ride, giving me many chills and thrills along the way. As with the previous books in the series, I was completely engrossed in what I was reading. I have long been invested in Detective Edward Petrosky, and his investigations- so it was a given that I would be following along on this case to find out the latest development/s. Ms. O’Flynn writes such vividly detailed and descriptive stories that I feel like I am right there experiencing everything right alongside the character/s- becoming completely absorbed by the story. This book is another cleverly crafted, police-procedural, crime and investigation story with fully realised, slightly flawed character/s. It’s full of raw, gripping, shocking, and totally intriguing developments that had me flipping the pages madly to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read “Savage” (Book 10). Compelling and Addicting Reading!

The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald was a good 4 star read. It took me a little bit to get into the story, I was trying to understand exactly what was going on. Once I got a little further I got pulled in.
Vince is working undercover to infiltrate a jihadi group. He also meets a woman that pulls him right in and he starts to seduce her. As the story moves forward Vince has to make a choice. Love or his job? What’s made up and what is real?
Overall this was a good thrilling read. The author does a good job of pulling you in with his writing. All of the characters added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a good thrilling fantasy romance then 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was such and interesting read for me! Admittedly, I have not read much on Muslims and their history. I felt like I got a glimpse into their history and mythology while reading a story about real people and their struggles.
The author wrote this story by intertwining three stories and timelines in such a fascinating way that I had to keep reading to find out what happened next! I was left wondering if that was all. I want to know more! This would be a FANTASTIC book club read!! It’s definitely the kind of book you want to discuss with other people.

Witness is the 9th Book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. The Ash Park series is centred around police detective Edward Petrosky and in this book he’s joined again by his partner Jackson. I didn’t discover this series of books and this author until the 7th book in this series and it’s still my mission to find time to go back and read the 6 books I’ve missed as I really want to get to know Petrosky’s character more. From my knowledge of Witness and the 2 previous books, I can tell he’s had a damn hard time of it in his life and in witness he sinks back into alcoholism again. This is a really brilliant detective story with so many twists and turns that you really don’t know what Meghan O’Flynn is going to throw at you next. What started as a simple breaking and entering job turned into something way, way much more and Petrosky and Jackson are soon pulled deep into the dark and dangerous criminal world in a case that becomes a bit too close to home for comfort. It totally amazes me how an author can write such an intricate and involved plot without losing the plot, so to speak. I’m totally in awe of authors who can do this and keep the reader engaged throughout and Meghan O’Flynn certainly does that with Witness.

The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald was an… interesting read, to say the least. The synopsis sounded so interesting just from reading it, that I decided to give this book a shot. I thought it was extremely well written with a lot of depth, but the biggest problem for me was that it felt like there were several different things going on at one time, it was hard to determine which story the book was about, and which one was reality and which was fiction. Again, the writing for this impressive, and if it wasn’t for the different realities and what I felt was stream of consciousness writing, I would have fallen in love with this story. Maybe it was just an off day for me, but this story just didn’t live up to the expectations I had for it. I enjoyed it, but not immensely. I would read more from this author in the future though!

This one was definitely the same as the rest in that regard but in a different way it was also next level and probably my favorite so far. This author knows how to keep me on my toes and I enjoy it every time. There’s nothing slow about this story it’s got a fast pace but not one you’d get lost in. There’s definitely twists and turns I didn’t see coming and I loved every minute of it. I was hooked right from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Neil MacDonald is a new author to me but when I saw the cover and blurbs I knew I needed to read The Tears of Boabdil soon! I scooped it up and devoured this in less than two days. I won’t be telling you details and snippets in this book while reviewing because this is a story that can easily be spoiled and I can assure you that is not something you will want when you pick up this crime thriller. I was blown away at how deep this book went with hidden agendas and underlying life lessons while you watch the characters attempt to find their way in a messed up world, one similar to the one we navigate daily. I will for sure be looking for more of MacDonald’s books and devouring them as soon as possible. I can’t say enough good about this book so please just one-click and dive in, you will not be disappointed.

Another gripping 5 star read from this talented author! She never fails to have me on the edge of my seat with her Ash Park series and Witness (the ninth book) was no exception. The storyline for this book was complex and engaging, I definitely found myself wanting to keep those pages turning to find out what was going to happen. I have loved following Petrosky as he tries to solve crimes but this one had me glued from the very beginning and I think is certainly one of my favourites from the series. I am really looking forward to more from this author and I highly recommend this series – the books can be read on their own but I would recommend that they are read in order!

Witness by Meghan O’Flynn is the ninth book in the Ash Park series, I am always so excited to get back to this series as each one always delivers a fantastic story they completely captures my attention. This book is yet another brilliant addition to such a strong series. I love getting back into the lives of the main characters and seeing what else is going to happen. If you have not read any of the Ash Park Series, I recommend reading the previous books to get the full enjoyment from this series. Meghan O’Flynn is one of my go to authors when I am looking for a great thriller to read. She pulls me into the story from the first page until the last word. The plot-line has a fast pace to it, but I caution you to be aware of everything going on so you do not miss something. I have to admit that I do go back and reread a page because I thought I had missed something. Her attention to detail is another reason I love reading her books. Now we can talk about characters. Detective Petrosky has stolen my heart. He is a wonderful book boyfriend. I always feel like I am with him and I do scream at him from time to time. He took this call because it was going to be a simple burglary. Nothing Petrosky ever does is simple. This case is shaping up to be quite a doozy. I highly recommend this book to see if Petrosky will make it through this case.

Witness is book nine in the Ash Park Series. I have not read the others in the series yet and had no problem following the story and the characters. This book is an action packed story by Meghan O’Flynn. It centers on Detective Edward Petrosky. Petrosky is a gruff angry detective struggling with alcoholism. His partner, Regina Jackson, takes no nonsense from him even while they are investigating an insidious group of people. This book does not go into great detail about the abuse several women suffered, however, it was still difficult to read about what they went through. Every corner turned was more shocking with twists and details revealed making this book hard to put down.

Witness: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 9) by Meghan O’Flynn 4 Stars!!!!
Another trip into the drama and intrigue of Meghan O’Flynn and I was one again sucked in and pitted at the edge of my seat. This is not my go to genre but it was a nice escape down the drama filled road of Detective Petrosky. The characters just jump off of the pages and come to life as the book unfolds. I was not able to put this book down even though I knew it would go dark.
Petrosky is very much haunted by the demons of his past and the author has a good way of bringing this all up and into the present to make the story both dark and intriguing. I find that the twists and turns of this book keep you glued to the pages and I for one could not wait to see how it would all turn out. I like how the author keeps your attention and how the story goes just dark enough but doesn’t cross into too dark. I will definitly read more from this author.

This novel left me with goosebumps and a chill. Definitely not for the faint of heart. This novel is by far one of the best crime thrillers I have read. Meghan O”Flynn has just become one of my top 10 favorite crime authors. Witness is the ninth book in the Ash Park series. It can be read as a standalone. I thought this was a really intriguing book.

5 Stars The Tears of Boabdil by Neil MacDonald is a wonderfully written story that I truly enjoyed reading. Its full of action and once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. This is about Vince and he’s an agent who finds himself in a situation where he has two choices to choose from . One will break the barrier where the other will make it stronger. Can he choose? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I highly recommend reading this book and cant wait to read more from this Author.

This is hands down one of my all time favorite crime thriller series that I have ever read. I have followed and read all the previous books of the Ash Park Series at least twice, so when I saw book nine, Witness was available I may have just cancelled the whole night so I could disappear into this read. I would personally recommend that you read the books in order as we have recurring characters that are amazing and have growth throughout so it would make your reading a bit more enjoyable. Witness it one amazing and twisty read that will have you second guessing everything as you go. I won’t divulge one bit of this great read other than the author has already shared in blurbs, but take it from me this is one you do not want to miss and will want to clear your schedule to devour!
